I have no reason to post this except that I love it and I think it is a great way to start our Sunday morning.
So very true, both of you. I proudly voted for him twice. Although he sometimes disappoints me, I have a profound respect for him. I truly believe that his heart is in the right place, and he has tried to govern in a way that works toward the greater good.
Sweet. The president has a way with little kids (and babies). Can you, just for a moment, imagine Sarah Palin doing something like that? Nope, didn't think so!
The image that popped into my head was SP not seeing the baby & nailing her to the floor with a stiletto heel of a red patent leather shoe -- and being annoyed.
Not long ago, Obama stated that the part of the job he loves most is everybody handing him their babies. Beautiful young women that they are, Malia and Sasha are a little too old for this kind of fun, but most reassuringly, our president is not.
Interesting that the media meme has always been that President Obama is a cold and distant man. From the photos I've seen of him the last seven years nothing could be farther from the truth. I suppose anything less than him being in control of his emotions in front of the press would suddenly make him "an angry black man".
I sent this photo to my son in California and his answer was priceless: "Fox News headline: "Obama teaching Christian (code word 'white') babies to pray toward Mecca in Oval Office." Yup, sums it up!
They;re on a roll, they showed a photo of Potus consoling Joe Biden at his son's funeral, photoshopped a gay flag and I'm not repeating the wording out of respect to Beau, the family, the President and the Biden family. President Obama, trying to console Vice President, hugged him, then kissed him once on each cheek.
You all need to get your heads right and see this for what it truly is. You people just don't get it. Even when the rock solid proof is right there staring you in the face. The evil tyrant Obama is obviously using a baby in a pathetic attempt to deflect attention from the fact that the camera has caught him in the middle of one of his five daily prayer sessions as required by his religion.
...you forgot to finish your post with something like: jk (just kiddin') or SNARK alert. If you meant this, oh well, I'll take the Fifth (amendment, that is).
Ah, quit picking on George W. Bush! He doesn't even know how to spell Kenyan, and certainly doesn't know where Kenya is. Poor George. Has he painted any clowns lately, or has Babs forbade him from Kennebuckport???

If President Obama never did another thing while in office, driving the Republican party to insanity and self-destruction would earn him a place on Rushmore. You morons are never gonna bring him down so give it up.
I am so sorry for the way this country (the GOP half) treats him. The people who watch Faux News have been conditioned to hate him without any real reason. Just a few anecdotes does it. My husband says that it is their racism in play. They just need a PC pretext. I love the guy.
