CNN hires Donald Trump's recently fired campaign manger. Really showing that journalistic integrity there CNN.

Courtesy of CNN:

Three days after being ousted from the Donald Trump campaign, Corey Lewandowski is a political commentator for CNN.

On Thursday Lewandowski joined CNN's stable of political experts who appear across the channel's newscasts and talk shows.

For CNN executives, the hiring was a coup. Lewandowski brings first-hand experience running a historic presidential campaign.

But his hiring was also highly controversial, even within the newsroom, in part because he has a reputation for being hostile toward journalists.

Yeah do you know what else is controversial?

The fact that Lewandowski signed a confidentiality agreement with Trump, much like his ex-wives, which forbids him from saying anything critical, ie true, about the Donald's campaign.

This is like hiring a songbird with its mouth taped closed.

So what did CNN get for its investment?

A highly partisan anti-Hillary attack dog with virtually no neutrality on any issue pertaining to his old boss.

So are we to assume that CNN will soon be the new home of Trump TV?

That's also what I've been thinking. "Firing" him and then get him inside at one of the major networks. Sounds very Trumpish to me.

Amen to that. Just think, before CNN and the 24 recycle the news, and when you get tired of that, make something up cycle, we had 30 minutes of local news, followed by 30 minutes of truth and journalism (Cronkite, Huntley and Brinkley-the first person I was ever aware of having cancer, Peter Jennings, Barbara Walters before she sold out) from three networks, and the stories were succinct and pertinent, because no one was trying to fill 24 hours with crap TV for advertisers. Thanks, CNN.

Ivanka fired him (or her husband) because they are trying to win this thing and that badass was holding them back. The son-in-law has big plans when he gets into the White House and he will not be denied.

  2. We've been watching more CNN ever since they dumped Melissa HP and brought on that stupid idiot Mark Halperin--remember him? The guy who said Hillary was going to choose a Republican woman for VP? So much for that liberal media.

Wasn't Melissa on MSNBC? Don't recall her ever being on CNN.

There was a list of the 50 worst pundits. Halperin was in the top 5. Such an unaware asshole.Stupid too.

    4. I meant to say that after MSNBC dumped Melissa and brought on Halperin. Typed faster than my mind engaged.

I personally liked Melissa far better than Halperin!

Halperin has no bed side manner and seems awkward, but I actually respect his view far more than some like Nicolle Wallace. Can't stand her

Joy Reid replaced MHP and I couldn't be happier. Joy knows her information and doesn't take crap from any of the Trump/Conservative pundits she is forced to have on her show. MSNBC has gone to the Conservative side and it sucks.

So, CNN has joined the CEO of CBS in announcing that they, too, are now as ethically and morally bankrupt as the Republican party. Kind of refreshing after all the lies denying that it was happening.

Haven't been around in awhile. Life is hard and relationships are a bitch. I read something at one point where the orator was talking about how "we're all a little bit ugly in our relationships." No truer words.

I think CNN already is Trump purchased. The amount of money generated by media outlets (print included) during election cycles is HUGE. It also is predictable income. I worked at a newspaper and campaign ads tripled revenue. Now we have much longer election cycles brought to us by media to make sure that money comes in the door. I’m not surprised by this hire. This is not Walter Cronkite journalism; CNN is conducting a circus act.

I stopped watching CNN quite awhile ago as they were very anti Hillary Clinton. Now, with this jackass, they'll be even worse - spreading total baloney about her and Bill.

Stop watching CNN and MSNBC folks - waste of time!

Vote for Hillary Clinton - know I'm going to!

CNN = Fox lite. It's not about journalism; it's about money. It was bad enough with paid major dim-bulb Trump advocate Kayleigh McEnany (astonishing stupidity and dishonesty). This fellow is a s***head at a whole new level of depravity.

Kayleigh McEnamy bothers me just about as much as Jeffrey Lord! Same crap over and over!
I will agree with some on here that the hiring of Corey by CNN is all part of Trump's plan.

Is Kayleigh the one that Stephanie Miller is always making fun of on her radio show?

    3. Anonymous9:27 PM

Kayleigh McEnany is the Trump supporter that "I live to hate". She has got to be one of the most vacuous and air headed people in television since the days of Palin. I expect that Corey Lewandowski will not take very long to shoe his behind front and center on CNN. What a jerk.

Bristol's blog, Breitbart, Fox, and anything by Sarah Palin doesn't make the list. I wish MSNBC would straighten up it's act, CNN is Fox Lite, and Fox is Rabies on Steroids. Charlie Rose, WXPN, a local college radio station from University of Pennsylvania actually has some great political coverage.

Here in Canada, a good source is CBC. Forget CTV, it is a corporate shill owned by Bell Media, which has become very monopolistic here. Cut and slash is their M.O.

The very awful CNN never did have any integrity --that's why they average about one million viewers in prime time in a country of more than 300 million people.

Thought you might like this one G:

A man holding red golf balls with swastikas interrupted Donald Trump's press conference in Scotland on Friday.

Lee Nelson, a British comedian, posted video of the prank on Facebook that appears to show him holding up the balls. He posted the video with the message, "Sorry for the delay giving out the balls you ordered Mr Trump."

The prank drew the ire of Trump, who growled "get him out" before stepping away from the podium that was surrounded by the golf balls spilled on the ground.

After the man was removed from the press conference by security officials, Trump reportedly continued his remarks at the podium surrounded by swastika-emblazoned golf balls.

As I was watching MSNBC tonight the Chyron said that according to Lewandowski Trump has narrowed his VP picks to no more than four and "they are household names." Does that mean like Mr. Clean or Aunt Jemima? Maybe Uncle Ben?

Thank you, Gryph, I've been saying this forever and so glad that you finally mentioned it. It's all there -- you just have to do the research. Same for Palin, and why they get away with it.

  17. Mass revolt on the part of CNN staff.

They don't want to work with this little upstart who came from nowhere to achieve notoriety as a cheap-jack bully trading on a stronger man's power.
