"Make America Safe Again" Convention - So Far, So Good . (Really? What convention is she watching?)
From 3000 miles up North, it's good to hear the GOP Convention is going well. It should strengthen faith that real hope and positive change can be on the way for the next generation. (Once again, WTF?)
I hear the convention TelePrompTer was abandoned during one speech last night, harkening back to the 2008 VP Nomination speech when the GOP Convention TelePrompTer let me just let 'et rip. (Oh God, not the teleprompter lie again.) Funny, while I was just now looking up '08 media coverage of that broken TelePrompTer during my speech, it appears the lamestream media lied about the issue then, and still lies about it. The more things change, the more they stay the same with the LSM still just "making things up!" (And they wonder why they're so distrusted and despised?) Because I have a life and I ignore the media haters (Ha!), I'd been unaware all these years that reporters denied the TelePrompTer glitch ever happened. (Well of course it's a lie that she was "unaware," but the accounts saying the teleprompter was working were from eyewitnesses in the audience that night.) Silly, silly irrelevant reporters... did they really think some campaign speech writer fed the TelePrompTer my ad-libbed comments like the "Hockey Mom & Pitbull with Lipstick" joke? (Actually yes. they did.)

Personally I think that Palin smeared sugar or chocolate on her lips to get Trig to kiss her like that.
Or maybe Trig simply finished his anger management classes and can now be next to his absentee mother without trying to knock her block off.

Speaking of the not so poor kids, people have been asking me if Track Palin is in jail.
No he is not.
Or whether of not he is in some inpatient substance abuse program.
Again, no.
He may be attending some outpatient therapy, as directed by the Veteran's Court, but currently from what I have been told he is free to walk among his fellow woman beaters in Wasilla. (Remember in the Mat-Su Valley one in two women are the victim of domestic abuse.)
Track's next court date is on July 25th, but I have little doubt that it is only a formality as mommy has already fixed everything so that her first born will never have to face the consequences of his actions.
If I were a member of that family I would always sleep with my door locked. Because really, it's only a matter of time.

But, the Convention legal 'force' made the vote go to Trump 'in total' because there were votes 'for others' (on the Alaska slate)or some damned thing! It sounded so damned rigged to me it wasn't funny! The discussion w/the national legal team disrupted the Convention for about 15 minutes as their legal team discussed the matter and overruled the Alaska Delegation!

The speechwriter said Trump admires Obama and was using her words as inspiration.
Meredith McIver, a staff writer for the Trump Organization who worked with Melania Trump on the speech, released a statement explaining how the incident had occurred. During the speechwriting process, McIver said, Trump dictated lines over the phone that she hoped to use as inspiration for her address.

McIver claimed she then failed to double-check the lines they selected against Obama’s speeches.

Well I just got through commenting on an old IM post and then I look at this picture more carefully. Of course, Bristol and Dakota are there. Most young people, even those who are married with kids, have friends their own age. Gryph, for future blog post, maybe you could let us know, Does Bristol have any real friends? Sarah chose to announce that she "quit" in Wasilla. Wasilla was far far away from Anchorage on Friday July 3,2009. Wasilla was about as far away as Sarah could get from her new Alaska Attorney General Dan Sullivan and still have the media cover her “quitting” speech. Was that a coincidence?
This house at the lake with the funny smells (do not drink the water!) is the place she wrote and gave her quitting speech. She was writing that quitting speech the same morning she gave it. She even needed some help writing the speech that morning. Her quitting speech was scrutinized by those who tried to understand what she was saying. Unlike Trump’s most recent wife’s speech there is no reason to think there was any plagiarizing in Sarah Palin’s July 3, 2009 lame duck quitting and progressing Murica speech. Sarah’s speaking and thinking styles are rather distinctive. Someone would probably have noticed any plagiarizing years ago. I think a lot of the people who speak like that in public would have been put in institutions already, if we still had institutions.
Yesterday was a day just like July 3 2009. Sarah was far far away from Dan Sullivan. This time it was former Alaska Attorney General and current US Senator Dan Sullivan (he was appointed by Sarah weeks before she “quit”!) Dan Sullivan who was giving the big speech in front of all the cameras. Sarah apparently wanted to stay in Wasilla and have a new photo op with Trig instead. Dan Sullivan was far away at the RNC giving his speech and attending the convention wi9th all the Alaskan delegates. Sarah wasn’t there because it was too too very far away to attend. No one wanted her to speak either I guess. Maybe that was just a convenient cover story?
Actually it was probably much less stressful for Sarah to sit at home and not have to worry about accidentally running into her former Attorney General Dan Sullivan at the RNC in front of a bunch of witnesses and reporters.
Something I noticed a while ago- Sarah also too never endorsed Dan Sullivan for his Senate run either, even though he was a powerful Kochsucker Republican running for an Alaskan Senate seat. In the general election Sullivan defeated Democrat Mark Begich, even without that endorsement from Sarah. As far as I know Todd never endorsed Sullivan either.
How is that for one of those things that make you wonder? “What’s in it for us?” Not enough apparently!
So Sarah is spending time in her house on the scenic shores of Lake Lucille in good old Wasilla instead of traveling far far away to be at this year’s RNC in Cleveland. Ohio. She’s back in the same little podunk town where she hopped on her broom and rode out with a bunch of her high school classmates to rule the nation. She’s back to progressing the nation and punditing and facebooking and whatnot from Wasilla again.
