Three House Republicans on Friday moved to pressure special counsel Robert Mueller to resign over what they contend are “obvious conflicts of interest,” the latest instance of rising GOP resistance to his Russia probe.
Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), introduced a measure that, while nonbinding, would put the House on record describing Mueller, a former FBI director, as unfit to lead the probe because of his relationship with James Comey, his successor at the bureau.
“[B]e it Resolved, That House of Representatives expresses its sense that Robert Mueller is compromised and should resign from his special counsel position immediately,” the resolution states.
Jesus! These three might as well start wearing t-shirts that say "Trump is guilty, guilty, guilty."
Innocent people, and their supporters, do not attempt to sabotage investigations.
Clearly Mueller is on the right tack if these assholes are trying to get him fired.

ReplyDeleteWhen Obama was president there was grace and dignity. He bought that to the house. Donald has bought Russians, Russians, and more Russians. Not only is he up to his ears in Russians, we are starting to be too. It's not like I have anything against the Russians, as a people, but their leaders are scary. I mean Stalin scary.
And I truly believe a lot of the Republicans know how corrupt Donald is and they are either with him on this Russian integration plan, or they are trying to ride Donald's bully tactics so that they could ramrod things like the taxplan for the rich down our throats. They sacrifice our country just to uplift the rich.
The poor Trump supporters are just rabid with hate. Anything you say or do does not matter. Those people need prozac. Or Lithium.
Sounds like Mueller may have a nice file on them too. Vote the useful idiots OUT.

ReplyDeleteGiven the relationship between his tweets and his approval ratings if he is gagged his approvals will only go up. The man has a serious, malignant case of diarrhea of the mouth. He just can’t shut up. His toxic spew is the the single biggest contributing factor to his low approval ratings. That’s why I sorta don’t want him gagged. His mouth only digs the hole deeper. Your own lawyers tell you to shut up, even the prosecutor tells you to shut up, I’m sure his wife, children and all of his advisors plead with him to shut up. But what does he do?
Book coming out about the H.W.and George and what they think of Trump. Senior says he’s a blowhard and he voted for Hillary. George voted for none of the above. Said he feared he’d be the last Republican president, not because of Hillary but because Trump is no Republican. I.E. the Republican Party is dead and who knows what that shit is in it’s place.
