Ever since Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy, now every famous pregnant person is suspect. Update!

Courtesy of The Hollywood Gossip:

The National Enquirer screams on its latest cover that Kim Kardashian is faking her pregnancy because her "baby bump seems to change size and position… as she travels around the country."

Why would Kim possibly conduct such a hoax? Straight cash, of course.

Alleges the newspaper:

“A source close to Kim believes the star might have hatched a sensational scheme with her money-hungry momager Kris Jenner to fake her pregnancy while secretly having a surrogate mom carry a baby for her and her lover Kanye West."

Well... sure.

Asks the newspaper: “How convenient is it that Kim got pregnant just as she was making a mad push to wrap up her ongoing divorce from Kris Humhpries?”

And also:

“It also would be an insane coincidence that Kim just so happened to get pregnant soon after she learned the girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush - Lilit Avagyan - is pregnant.”

Okay now I don't think that Sarah Palin was the FIRST person to fake a pregnancy, but clearly her  audacious, and successful, attempt to fool the public has meant that certain media outlets have scrutinized famous pregnancies with a particular eye out for frauds. (I have spoken to TWO different writers for the National Enquirer and they both accept as fact that Palin faked her pregnancy.)

Now as you know there was a lot of controversy surrounding Beyone's recent "pregnancy" as well.  In THAT case I am on the side of that being a potential hoax.

However in Kardashian's case I really am not convinced that she is faking it. After reading this I Googled some images and it looks like her entire body is expanding, and NOT like somebody simply strapping on a empathy belly to fool the media.

However I would like to say that considering the fact that Klondike Kardashian seems to have based her life after leaving the governorship on the business model laid out by the ACTUAL Kardashians, it would be rather ironic if Kim were returning the favor by taking a page out of the Palin playbook as well.

I'm just saying.

Update! You know the first thing I think of WHENEVER anybody questions the validity of a pregnancy, is that if the local press in Alaska had demonstrated even a fraction of that kind of skepticism about Palin's pregnancy she would have been quickly found out and it would have dramatically changed the face of politics in the country today.

Kind of makes you pissed off at the ADN all over again doesn't it?

HIllary Clinton's popularity soars as Sarah Palin becomes increasingly inconsequential.

As I am sure some of you remember I was not terribly happy to see that Palin was even mentioned in a poll that also included Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama.

However this Yahoo News story kind of put things into better perspective for me:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sets a record in Gallup’s annual most-admired survey, while Sarah Palin falls farther off the popularity radar.

Gallup has run its most-admired man and woman survey since World War II, and in the 2012 edition, Clinton and President Barack Obama kept their top positions among those asked a simple question: “What man that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most? And who is your second choice?”

Clinton was named as most-admired woman for the 17th time since she became a national figure in 1992. Eleanor Roosevelt held the previous record when she was named 13 times as the most-admired woman.

The only two women to finish ahead of Clinton in that 20-year period were Mother Teresa (twice) and Laura Bush (once).

Palin came within one percentage point of matching Hillary Clinton in 2009, when she had 15 percent of the polling, compared with 16 percent for Clinton.

In 2012, Palin had just 2 percent of the polling, finishing in a fifth-place tie. Clinton had 21 percent, followed by First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Condoleezza Rice.

So essentially what the poll indicates (And yes I realize it is a Gallup poll which none of us give a great deal of credence to.), is that in just three years Palin has dropped from being only one percentage point away from Hillary, who has held that top spot seventeen times, to now being relegated to a fifth place tie with three others.

Would it be better if her name did not show up at all? Of course.

But remember that this poll is really based mostly on name recognition, and once Palin is not on Fox News any longer, nor being ridiculed by late night comedians all of the time, that recognition should fade rather quickly.

And that is a day that has been a long time coming, but one that appears to be now within sight.

NEVER one to let go of a grudge, Sarah Palin has a ghostwritten attack on Joe McGinniss published on rabid Right Wing blog.

Sarah Palin is famous for going after people who she believes have done her wrong, and is also known for NEVER letting go of her hatred for these people who dare damage her reputation by pointing out the truth.

So today Palin had a ghostwriter post a hateful diatribe against Joe over at the now truly defunct Andrew Bretbart's old website. (Well Breitbart himself is "defunct" anyhow.)

Essentially she discusses a new book which examines the Jeffrey MacDonald case that was at the heart of Joe's famous book "Fatal Vision," and resurrects the claim that McGinniss gained MacDonald's trust, claiming he believed that he was innocent, only to turn on him when he became convinced of his guilt. And then takes it a step further by implicating McGinniss in the perception of MacDonald's guilt, which the author believes is false.

Now I only know what I have read about the trial, and saw presented in the television movie adapted from Joe's book, so I don't have any real idea of whether MacDonald was guilty or innocent.

I did talk to Joe very briefly about it once, after it was dredged up while he was still living next to Palin, and he expressed confidence that MacDonald was indeed guilty. And that he had dealt with the man fairly.

However the reason this is worthy of a post is to, once again, illustrate just how vindictive Palin is, and to what extremes she will go to in order to injure or frighten those that dare stand up to her, or who she identifies as an enemy. (A list that WE all know is almost too long to read in one sitting.)

McGinniss, to his eternal credit, may in fact have been the one to have finally put that proverbial stake through Palin's political aspirations for all time. So of course she hates him with the white hot hate of a woman who despises men in general, and despises men who will not succumb to her "charms" even more.

Joe was not only unimpressed with Palin, he wrote a book telling the world exactly WHY she was unimpressive, and potentially dangerous.

Of course Palin lacks the talent to do her own dirty work so in this case she simply used one of Breitbart's journalistic hit-men to write a screed and then stamped it with one of her cloven hooves.

Here you tell me if this sounds like it came from the cottage cheese filled head of the Lunatic from Lake Lucille:

I don’t normally read “true crime” books, and I’ve certainly never written a review of one, but Errol Morris’ new book, “A Wilderness of Error,” isn’t typical of the genre. It’s much more interesting and I think important. It’s a book about the failings of a legal system administered by very fallible human beings, and it’s a book about how we buy into false media narratives that tidy up uncomfortably complex stories and give us permission to call off any further search for truth – and, yes, Morris argues with refreshing clarity that objective truth is real and worthy of being sought after despite the pretentious nonsense preached in faculty lounges about all truth being relative. In fact, he argues passionately that the search for truth is what journalism and justice is all about.

"Pretentious," "fallible,"  "isn't typical of the genre." Does any of that sound like Palin-speak to any of you? Of course not.

No this is just another example of Palin smelling blood in the water and going for the jugular like she has over and over again in the past. And essentially it reveals far more about HER than it does her intended target.

Look "Fatal Vision" was written four decades ago, and nothing that Palin or this writer say about the circumstances surrounding the case will have any significant impact on Joe McGinniss, his reputation, or his future endeavors.

However Joe's book "The Rogue" DID have a very significant and disasterous impact on a certain treacherous politician who caters to the very worst in American politics, and whose influence is STILL causing negative ramifications throughout our now fragile political system. And for that the American people owe him a great debt of gratitude.

In other words, nice try Sarah, but we still know who actually ran Wasilla while you were Mayor, that even those close to you doubt you gave birth to Trig, and that you at one time used your position as a part time sportscaster to seduce a young basketball player named Glen Rice.

And NOTHING you have ghostwritten about the author of that information will EVER erase it from our minds.

And no giving us the evil eye will not change that either.

Movie star Anne Hathaway joins the Occupy Wall Street protesters and somehow the conservatives believe this discredits both of them?

From the damaged frontal lobe of The Blaze:

She is one of the highest-paid actresses in the world, but $58-million-dollar lady Anne Hathaway feels so much solidarity with the 99%, she chose to join them for an Occupy Wall Street pro-socialism rally on a cold, rainy day in Union Square.

Last year’s Oscars hostess stood alongside NYU students, professors, and labor organizers as she held up a sign that said: ‘Blackboards not bullets’.

Hathaway wanted to show support for the “Students and Workers United” rally in Union Square on Thursday, which was just one of many Occupy Wall Street-affiliated protests in the city.

Hathaway’s films have grossed approximately $3.2 billion.

I have to admit that I am at a loss as to HOW this is perceived as a bad thing for Hathaway OR the OWS protesters.

Here we have a wealthy, famous individual showing solidarity with those who are asking that Wall Street, corrupt corporations, and crooked politicians be held accountable for their actions.  She certainly does not HAVE to join the protest, she is essentially in that 1% category, but she chooses to show she cares about their cause, and understands its importance.

In my mind that makes her more impressive than ever. And I am actually already a fan.

And as for the OWS movement, it certainly does not hurt them to realize that they are not only reaching everyday Americans with their message, but that even the rich and famous are feeling solidarity with their cause.

Apparently in the world of conservatives, the line that separates the 1% from the 99% is a bottomless chasm that NOBODY can cross over without a complete loss of their credibility. Sort of telling isn't it?
