The Razzies, the annual awards for the worst of film, found a fitting target for their derision Saturday night. The committee bestowed Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas with four dubious honors, including Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Combo for Kirk Cameron and his ego.

To be fair, Gryphen, you should also disclose that Mr. Cameroon won "Most Improved Child Actor and/or Actress in a Semi-Popular Comedy Series" in 1986 and 1988, also too.
ReplyDeleteThere were so many terrible movies this year so it makes it even more special that Cameron won for the worst! It truly was a bottom of the barrel scenario, and he is very deserving.

ReplyDeleteWell scareyah will be happy. She was whining and complaining that Adam Sandler was nominated for a Razzie because he is a Conservative. She said in that interview that he is a great actor, so the only reason she could think of was that he's a conservative and was being punished. Lol Then again that nut Cameron is her kind of "Christian" and probably thought Saving Christmas was an Oscar worthy movie.

ReplyDeleteLast I heard, they were making a bigger commercial version of Left Behind, I didn't realize they did and that it bombed so quick it went straight to DVD. I watched the trailer, I have to admit, it wasn't bad. The character that plays Cage's daughter seems like a stand-out.
ReplyDeleteI read the book when it was new and it didn't market itself as a fundy rapture book, it was just sci-fi to me. Read in that context, it was fascinating. But the proselytizing and shaming grew with each installment. No thank you.
