South Carolina Congressman whips out gun during meeting with constituents, claims "I'm not going to be a Gabby Giffords."

Ralph Norman on the left, one of his constituents on the right.
Courtesy of CNN:

Republican Rep. Ralph Norman pulled out his loaded, personal .38-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun Friday and laid it on the table at a diner where he was meeting with his constituents in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Norman told CNN he wanted to make a point in the debate over gun violence.

"I merely proved a point that guns themselves are not the issue," he said.

Norman said that having a loaded gun in the room should, if anything, have made people feel more safe.

"Given the scenario that if someone had walked into that diner and began to fire a weapon, I told them I would be able to defend myself and them as well," he explained.

Jesus what is it with these little boys and their little toys?

And as if this were not pathetic enough this idiot went and said this:

"I'm not going to be a Gabby Giffords," Norman told the newspaper, referring to the Democratic former congresswoman from Arizona who was shot at a constituent gathering in her district in 2011. "I don't mind dying, but whoever shoots me better shoot well or I'm shooting back."

Sounds like somebody has been watching too many John Wayne movies.

For the record being armed would not have protected Gabby Giffords, she was shot almost immediately in a place where she felt perfectly safe.

In fact Mark Kelly, Gabby's husband responded to this news on Twitter:

What this man did was to endanger everybody at that meeting, since ANYBODY could have grabbed that gun and started shooting.

This man has now demonstrated that he is unfit for office, and hopefully the voters in his district will do the right thing.

Two South Carolina politicians want to erect a monument honoring African Americans who fought for the Confederacy. Problem is there weren't any.

Bill Chumley and Mike Burns, two Republicans lawmakers who clearly slept right through history class.
Courtesy of The State:

Two South Carolina lawmakers want to erect a monument on the State House grounds to African-Americans who served the state as Confederate soldiers. But records show the state never accepted nor recognized armed African-American soldiers during the Civil War.

“In all my years of research, I can say I have seen no documentation of black South Carolina soldiers fighting for the Confederacy,” said Walter Edgar, who for 32 years was director of the University of South Carolina’s Institute for Southern Studies and is author of “South Carolina: A History.”

“In fact, when secession came, the state turned down free (blacks) who wanted to volunteer because they didn’t want armed persons of color,” he said.

Pension records gleaned from the S.C. Department of History and Archives show no black Confederate soldiers received payment for combat service. And of the more than 300 blacks who did receive pensions after they were allowed in 1923, all served as body servants or cooks, the records show.

Confederate law prohibited blacks from bearing arms in the war, records show, until that edict was repealed in 1865 at the very end of the conflict.

Did you just slap your forehead in disbelief at how ignorant these two individuals are? Because I certainly did.

Yes I am sure the line was quite long for black folks anxious to join the army fighting to preserve slavery, because damn they loved them some slavery.

This is why education is so damn important.

It helps to prevent the creation of more ignorant Republicans.

Hackers tried to access South Carolina's voter registration system almost 150,000 times on election day.

Courtesy of Yahoo News:

Hackers tried to access South Carolina's voter registration system almost 150,000 times on Election Day alone, a new report from the state's Election Commission has revealed.

The report plays into a larger pattern of attempted hacking in the 2016 election, in which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says more than 20 US states were targeted. Intelligence officials believe much of the election meddling was carried out by Russian hackers.

They keep using the phrase "tried to access" but I am starting to think that they almost had to have been successful at least a couple of times.

One does not attempt 150,000 times unless you managed to penetrate a security system somewhere using the same or a similar approach.

And if they were successful just how many votes might they have altered for Donald Trump?

Not that they needed to do much since the Republicans had already managed to purge as many as 22 million eligible Democratic voters from the system before the election:

In the name of voter fraud, 1.1 million voters were removed from the registration lists through voter purging in the months before the 2016 election, and 21 million eligible voters were removed from the polls through voter ID restrictions.

22 million eligible voters from Democratic voting blocs were removed from the registration lists and polling booths in the name of voter fraud.

22 million.

Go ahead, tell me again that the Russians and Republicans were not working together.

White supremacist is arrested after planning to attack a South Carolina synagogue "in the spirit of Dylann Roof."

Dylann Roof
Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

A white supremacist planned a terror attack “in the spirit of Dylann Roof” on a South Carolina synagogue, the FBI alleges.

Benjamin Thomas Samuel McDowell, 29, of Conway, South Carolina was arrested Wednesday for allegedly attempting to buy a gun from an undercover agent posing as a hitman for the Aryan Nations. McDowell is a convicted felon and legally prohibited from buying firearms. McDowell allegedly sought the weapon after spending the past month writing Facebook posts about murdering Jews and praising Roof, who was convicted of murdering nine black churchogers in Charleston in June 2016.

According to an FBI affidavit filed Thursday, McDowell’s internet activity suggested that he set his sights on the Temple Emanu-El, a conservative synagogue in Myrtle Beach.According to the FBI, McDowell elaborated on his preferred form of “action” on Facebook.

........

“Dylann roof did what these tattoos wearing so badass is supposed to be doing they don't give f*** about their white race,” he wrote on January 5. “All they wanne do is stay loaded on drugs the Jews put here to destory white man and they feast on the drugs. they should be Feasting on the enemy that stole their Heritage and their bloodline and trying to run us off of this Earth you can post pictures off****** Viking and swords all the s*** you want to post if you ain't got the heart to fight for Yahweh like dylann roof did you need to shut the f******up damn right I'm pissed off when I see a f******white young and disable beat him to death before f******n****** and white people running:their f******mouth not doing nothing!!!!!! !damn right I'm pissed off'.”

.......

"I seen what Dylann Roof did and in my heart I reckon I got a little bit of hatred and I … I want to do that shit. Like, I got desire ... not for nobody else … it just... I want something where I can say, 'I fucking did that' ... me personally ... If l could do something on a fucking big scale and write on the fucking building or whatever, 'In the spirit of Dylann Roof."'

As terrifying as this is I think it is just the beginning.

With one of their own occupying the White House these racist pieces of shit are feeling more empowered than ever.

In other news Dylann Roof, the Charleston church shooter, receives death penalty.

Courtesy of NBC News:

An admitted white supremacist was condemned to death Tuesday for massacring nine black worshipers who'd invited him to study the Bible with them at a Charleston, S.C., church, ending a two-phase federal trial that exposed the killer's hate-fueled motives and plumbed the chasms of grief left by the victims' deaths.

The jury, the same that convicted Dylann Roof in the murders last month, announced its verdict after deliberating less than three hours.

Roof, 22, who represented himself in the penalty phase, did very little to persuade the panel to spare his life. He declined to present any witnesses or evidence, blocked standby defense lawyers' attempts to raise questions about his mental health, and suggested in his closing statement that arguing for life in prison wasn't worth the effort.

I am not typically a supporter of the death penalty but I have no problem with this outcome.

If anybody ever needs to be convinced that racism is alive and well, and that it is way too easy to get guns in this country, they need look no further than this case right here.

South Carolina Republican lawmaker arrested for assaulting hi wife with a firearm after being caught cheating. Gotta love those family values!

Courtesy of Aiken Standard:

South Carolina Rep. Chris Corley has been arrested after police say he assaulted his wife and pointed a handgun at her.

Corley, 36, who represents Graniteville in Aiken County in the South Carolina House of Representatives, was arrested Tuesday by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

Arrest warrants for Corley show he has been charged with first-degree domestic violence and pointing and presenting firearms at a person.

Warrants state Corley, in the presence of an 8-year-old child, did "cause physical harm and injury" to the victim, by "striking her about the head and face with a closed fist and further did, after threatening to kill the victim, point a Smith & Wesson ... handgun at the victim causing her to fear for her life."

Deputies responded on Monday to a home on the 100 block of Sugar Hill Drive in Graniteville, where a woman said Corley, who she identified as her husband, hit her in the face with his fist and said he was going to kill her while children were in the home, police reported.

The woman told deputies Corley was "caught cheating."

Corley made national news last year after sending out a Christmas card featuring a confederate flag to his colleagues suggesting that they "ask for forgiveness of all your sins such as betrayal."

And yes of course he was a Trump supporter

Well I'll tell you right now that once Donald Trump is sworn into office it will once again be perfectly alright for a man to pistol whip his wife for catching him cheating on her.

Just like it says in the Bible.

Probably.

Dylann Roof, the racist who murdered nine people in a South Carolina church, was found guilty on all thirty three charges.

Courtesy of NPR:

A jury in Charleston, S.C., has found Dylann Roof guilty on all 33 counts of federal hate crimes he faced for murdering nine people and attempting to kill three others in the basement of a historically black church.

Federal prosecutors are seeking a death sentence. Roof has asked to represent himself in the penalty phase of the trial, which is scheduled to begin Jan. 3.

The guilt phase of the trial featured six days of testimony from 30 witnesses, including a recorded confession and excerpts from Roof's journal, and painted a picture of a young man filled with racial hatred who spent months planning to murder black people.

Roof entered Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal church in downtown Charleston on the evening of June 17, 2015, and, for nearly an hour, sat among a dozen people at a bible study before opening fire during the worshippers' final prayer.

They better sentence this guy before Donald Trump gets sworn in and gives him amnesty.

Don't forget that a large swath of Trump supporters most likely consider this guy a folk hero. And Trump certainly wants to keep these folks happy and voting for his candidates in midterm elections now doesn't he?

After all it appears that this is going to be Donald Trump's America, and in Donald Trump's America this is probably considered a protected expression of white pride.

Trial over North Charleston police shooting ends in mistrial.

To be clear the trial for THAT shooting ended in mistrial.

Here is more courtesy of the New York Times:

The trial of Michael T. Slager, the North Charleston police officer whose videotaped killing of an unarmed black man staggered the nation as it was embroiled in debate about police misconduct and racial biases in law enforcement, ended in a mistrial on Monday.

Judge Clifton B. Newman’s decision to halt the proceedings came three days after jurors signaled that they were within one vote of returning a guilty verdict against Mr. Slager, who could have been convicted of either murder or voluntary manslaughter for the killing of Walter L. Scott. But jurors also sent conflicting messages on Friday about whether they could break their impasse, setting off a confused legal frenzy.

On Monday, though, the panel of 11 white people and a black man again sent word that it would not be able to reach a unanimous verdict about Mr. Slager’s conduct, prompting the mistrial ruling.

So hard for a jury to know the right decision in a case like this.

If only there were some video tape that clearly showed the suspect running away when he was shot.

Oh wait......

And as NYT points out there is nothing new about this outcome:

The outcome in the Slager case is similar to the resolutions in other recent trials involving claims of police misconduct. This fall, a jury in Cincinnati deadlocked in the case of a university police officer who fatally shot a motorist who was black and unarmed. Here in South Carolina, juries twice deadlocked when considering charges against a rural police chief who fatally shot an unarmed black man. And in December 2015, the trial of a Baltimore police officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray ended in a mistrial. (After a judge, ruling in bench trials, cleared other Baltimore officers, the prosecutor there dropped all of the criminal cases in the matter of Mr. Gray’s death.)

And people wonder why groups like BLM exist, and why they spend their time protesting in the streets.

While "attempting to make his weapon safe" father shoots and kills two year old daughter and wounds her four year old sister.

Courtesy of Time:

A South Carolina father accidentally fired his gun Thursday evening while trying to make it “safe,” killing his 2-year-old daughter and injuring his 4-year-old daughter.

While “attempting to make the weapon safe,” the 30-year-old father accidentally fired the gun, striking his hand and both his daughters in the upper body, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

Two-year-old Heaven Miller died from the gunshot wound, the Sheriff said. Both the father and his four-year-old daughter suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The father was cleaning his gun on the family’s porch when it went off after he sat on it, the State newspaper reported. The Sheriff’s department is investigating the shooting as accidental.

Attempting to modify an instrument of death in the same room as your children does not seem like it should fall in the category of "accidental."

"Negligent homicide" or "manslaughter" maybe.

When will these idiots learn that the only way to make a gun "safe" is to leave it at the store where they bought it?

Once that weapon is in your home the chances for an accidental shooting increase 100%.

I have been saying for awhile now that Hillary Clinton needs to win this election by a landslide. Here is what that might look like.

Courtesy of FiveThirtyEight:

In a normal presidential election, both candidates raise essentially unlimited money and staff their campaigns with hundreds of experienced professionals. In a normal presidential election, both candidates are good representatives of their party’s traditional values and therefore unite almost all their party’s voters behind them. In a normal presidential election, both candidates have years of experience running for office and deftly pivot away from controversies to exploit their opponents’ weaknesses. In a normal presidential election, both candidates target a broad enough range of demographic groups to have a viable chance of reaching 51 percent of the vote. This may not be a normal presidential election because while most of those things are true for Clinton, it’s not clear that any of them apply to Trump.

Now Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight by no means suggests that Hillary WILL beat Donald Trump for certain, much less in a landslide victory.

But considering the circumstances  of this election that possibility does exist.

Here are a couple of examples of what we might see in November if indeed that is the case.

I like it. That's a good solid win.

However don't forget that Trump is going to cry foul and claim the election was stolen, so a much bigger margin would be preferable.

Oh yeah, that's much better.

Bill Clinton won Missouri twice and South Carolina seems to up for grabs this time as well. So this could be a very likely scenario.

But you know what? I would like to see an even bigger margin if possible.

Wow, Texas going blue, and Alaska!

Damn wouldn't that be something?

Let me just say how over the moon I would be if my state finally voted for Democratic nominee in a presidential election for the first time since 1964.

It's unlikely though right?

But if we turn out in significant numbers we might come close to seeing something like this come to fruition. Never hurts to try, right?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have managed to convince at least five young people so far to register this year for the first time, and I can guarantee that none of them are going to vote for Trump.

If we all try to do that, well then just maybe dreams CAN come true.

Survivors of Charleston church shooting sue FBI over background checks.

Courtesy of Yahoo News:

The FBI is being sued by survivors of the Charleston church shooting, who say federal negligence enabled Dylann Roof to buy the .45-caliber handgun he used.

Lawyers for three people who survived the attack and the estates of five who were slain inside the Emanuel AME Church say the FBI negligently failed to thoroughly check Roof's background before he bought the gun last year.

If the agency had done its job, Roof's prior drug arrest would have shown up, and the bureau would have denied his purchase, the lawsuits filed Thursday allege.

Attorney Andy Savage said Friday that his clients hope the litigation will lead to improvements in gun safety.

"In this case, you had an unqualified purchaser that slipped through the cracks," Savage told The Associated Press. "And the result is what happened on June 17."

Well the pro-gun crowd is always arguing that we don't need any more gun restrictions we simply need to enforce the ones that we already have, so they should have no problem with this.

Of course if the case leads to a strengthening of enforcement procedures for those background checks I am sure they will find plenty of reason to bitch about it.

South Carolina Primary Open Thread. Update!

I really don't think there is much suspense with this one, Hillary is definitely going to win today.

The only question remaining is by how much.

However let's watch the returns together and see if there are any surprises.

Update:

This might be a predictor of a strong showing for Hillary.

Update 2: As anticipated even though the polls have just closed MSNBC is already predicting a huge win for Hillary.

And the Hillary campaign just announced the same as I was typing that.

Saturday, February 20, 2016

Donald Trump wins South Carolina primary. Update: Jeb Bush suspends campaign!

So Trump wins again, even after essentially blaming 9-11 on George W. Bush and getting into a pissing match with the Pope.

So apparently everything we have been told about Republicans and family values is pure BS.

It looks like second place is currently a knock down drag out between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, with Jeb Bush coming in at a very distant fourth.

So once again this essentially illustrates why Democrats need a powerhouse to go up against the GOP nominee.

Right now it is almost impossible to argue against the fact that Trump is going to win the GOP nomination. And if he does he will run an incredibly negative campaign.

Like it or not in order to fight back we need a candidate who, first of all has been under attack from the Republicans for most of her adult life, and secondly knows how to land a solid punch.

If one looks back at Trump's history you quickly learn that he has an incredibly thin skin, and that he has an especially strong reaction to criticism from women. (Remember his disgusting attacks against Rosie O'Donnell.)

Hillary will know how to use that to her advantage, as will Bill.

In fact I believe that this is the fight that Bill Clinton is itching to have.

As much as I admire Bernie Sanders, this is like nothing he has ever seen before.

On the other hand it is like Hillary Clinton has been training for this her entire life.

Update: Jeb Bush just announced that he was suspending his campaign.

If I had been told that this was a possible outcome at the beginning of this election cycle I would have never believed it.

All bets are off now folks.

Good news for Donald Trump, he can still depend on strong support from racists.

Courtesy of Mother Jones:

While Sen. Ted Cruz was firing up conservatives at an arena in Greenville, South Carolina, on Thursday night, someone—presumably a supporter of Donald Trump—was leaving copies of a racist far-right newsletter on the windshields of cars parked outside the venue.

The Conservative Action Report appears to be affiliated with the South Carolina Conservative Action Council, which "proudly" defends the "Confederate South" and the Confederate flag. (This weekend, the group will hold an event to commemorate the Union army's "satanic" attack on Charleston.) One front-page story in the newsletter is headlined "Is Barack Obama a Muslim?" Another is called "Blacks and the Confederacy—the story the leftist mass media will never tell." An op-ed in the newsletter refers to Gov. Nikki Haley by her birth name, Nimrada Randhawa, and attacks her for her "Stalinesque" decision to remove the Confederate flag from the statehouse grounds after last year's mass shooting in Charleston.

The newsletter has also attacked Trump rivals Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, you know, that whole Hispanic thing.

You know what they say, perhaps not all Donald Trump supporters are racist, but pretty sure that all racists are Donald Trump supporters.

Friday, February 19, 2016

So is Jeb Bush on the verge of dropping out of the race?

Okay so I saw that tweet yesterday, and my first response was "bullshit."

I mean there is no way that Jeb, with his name recognition and so much money at his disposal, is not going to stay in for the long haul.

Right?

But then this courtesy of Politico:

A top Jeb Bush adviser on Friday morning repeatedly dodged the question of whether the former Florida governor will stay in the presidential race if he disappoints in South Carolina, instead saying the campaign is laser focused on Saturday's primary.

Okey dokey.

So look I get it, being Jeb Bush right now must suck balls.

I mean everyday he must wake up and say, "Dammit! It's not a dream, I really am being crushed by Donald Trump."

And that would be enough to grind down anybody's will, not only to campaign, but just to go on living even.

But if Bush does indeed drop out after Saturday, that is going to cause the kind of after shocks throughout the GOP the likes of which I don't think we have seen in decades.

And it really will be down the rabbit hole for the entire 2016 race. Assuming we have not been down that hole this entire time of course.

SuperPAC creates pro-Jeb! advertisement that uses the image of Terri Schiavo. The word you are looking for here is "disgusting."

Courtesy of the Daily Kos:

The Right to Rise super PAC helping Jeb Bush is airing an ad in South Carolina that features a photo of Terri Schiavo, the Pinellas County woman, who died 10 years ago despite Bush's efforts to halt the removal of her feeding tube.

The ad features a picture of Mrs. Schiavo as well as an image of what appears to be someone at the vigil outside her hospice holding a Jeb! campaign sign.

The image shows up around the 12 second mark and is accompanied by these words:

"He's a man of deep faith who fought time and again for the right to life."

Some of you may remember the Terri Schiavo case and how she was used as a political football by the anti-choice groups and Jeb Bush.

After her death there was an autopsy which determined that the amount of damage to Schiavo's brain was massive. In the words of the Chief Examiner, the damage was "irreversible, and no amount of therapy or treatment would have regenerated the massive loss of neurons."

Here is what Michael Schiavo, the young woman's then husband, said in response to this disrespectful use of his dead wife's image:

"It is simply disgusting that Jeb Bush and his super Pac would exploit my wife’s tragedy for his crude political gain. Shame on Jeb Bush."

You know I am going to stop assuming that these Republican politicians cannot go any lower than they already have.  Because every time I do I'm proved wrong.

South Dakota man arrested for threatening to blow up VA hospitals. But don't worry America, he's not a Muslim. Whew!

Courtesy of Grand Forks Herald:

A man indicted on charges for possessing explosives in Gregory County made frequent threats about blowing up two South Dakota Veteran's Affairs hospitals, according to a report from a Division of Criminal Investigation special agent.

Martin Rezac, 59, of Dallas, S.D., was hospitalized on Thanksgiving Day when an explosive device detonated in his home at 413 Des Moines Ave. in Dallas, a small town in south-central South Dakota.

According to court documents, Rezac "possibly lost several fingers" from both hands and sustained cuts and abrasions to his face due to the explosion. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the explosion.

Earlier this month, a judge approved a warrant for Rezac's arrest. He was indicted and charged with three felonies on Friday.

On Nov. 27, the day after the explosion, a DCI special agent interviewed Rezac's friend, Allen Kayl, who was in custody in the Winner City Jail.

Kayl told law enforcement officers that Rezac made several comments about VA hospital staff "pissing him off," court documents state. Kayl said Rezac frequently made comments about blowing up a VA hospital and said he knew how to do it, court documents state.

When asked if Kayl believed Rezac was capable of doing so, Kayl allegedly "confirmed there was a possibility he would in fact do it."

You KNOW that if this gentleman had been a Muslim from the Middle East that this story would be on a never ending loop over at Fox News.

Instead they recently attacked the President for acknowledging that homegrown domestic terrorists are actually at least as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than Islamic terrorists from other countries:

It shows that he’s out of touch. It shows that when he is going to come forward with a response to a question like that, with some empirical data, to somehow prove that yeah, well, I guess it’s a threat but there have been equal or greater threats, and then it fits into that meme that somehow Americans are a greater threat to other Americans than those abroad that are trying to kill us. That’s wrong, and I think that’s why he’s been having real terrible problems with the American people for a long time.

Yeah, if the Donald Trump campaign proves nothing else it proves that Americans would rather you lie to them than tell you an uncomfortable truth.

Terrorism is terrorism kids, and it makes little difference which religion to adhere to, or in which country you were born.

Sarah Palin and Donald Trump together again. She must have something to sell.

Courtesy of Aimee Simple McPalin's Facebook page:

It was great to visit with Donald J. Trump in NYC as the Sweet Freedom book tour gets ready to launch; I picked up his latest book "Crippled America" and he got mine: "Sweet Freedom" - it's officially released tomorrow!

Like I said awhile ago, Trump may be the single GOP candidate who cannot be hurt by having his picture taken with Sarah Palin.

However with HER popularity at an all time low she DESPERATELY needs to steal a little of his mojo.

Especially since her book, which I believe should be called "Stuff I stole from the Bible and then slapped my name on," is currently ranked 18,013 in all books and 65 in Christian books and Bibles, which is of course the niche she is aiming for. (Source.)

As I have said in the past I cannot imagine that there are very many people saving their pennies to get their hands on these regurgitated Biblical "meditations." Especially from a woman who misled her followers about her intentions of running for President, and whose daughter is currently pregnant with her second child out of wedlock.

I guess we will see as the book signings are scheduled to start this Thursday in North Carolina.

White supremacist ask people to "Vote for Trump" during his sentencing for child molestation. So Trump has that going for him now.

Courtesy of The State:

Over a long career, August Kreis III has been a white supremacist, a fringe Christian minister, a hater of Jews, a neo-Nazi and a Ku Klux Klan leader.

On Thursday, in a Lexington County courtroom, he became something else: a convicted child molester.

After a three-day trial, a Lexington County jury found Kreis, 61, guilty of one count of criminal sexual conduct involving a minor child and two counts of committing lewd acts on a child. Three young women testified during the trial.

Later Thursday, Circuit Court Judge Douet “Jack” Earley gave Kreis 50 years in prison — meaning he almost certainly will die behind bars.

However before right before hearing that sentence Kreis had a finally request for the people:

Just before sentencing, Kreis declared, “I will always hate the Jew. This government is run by an evil group of people, and please — vote for Trump!”

Wow, a Christian, racist, child molesting, Trump supporter.

I think that just about says it all, don't you?

Sarah Palin hard at work trying to sound out the words in the book her ghostwriter typed up for her.

Courtesy of Palin's also mostly ghostwritten Facebook page:

Having a "sweet" time recording the audio version of my new book "Sweet Freedom" - due out in just 20 days!

Twenty days! Why that's just enough time for me to save up to buy....just about anything else.

The only thing that I imagine would be worse than reading through one of these horribly written, cut and past tomes of Palin's is to listen to her struggling to read through one in that grating voice of hers.

I can only imagine how many takes it requires for her to even make it through a paragraph.

"Well pardon me, but who told y'all to put in so many highfalutin words in the first place."

After being silent for almost a week, Palin has come back with a vengeance (A word that ALWAYS applies to Sarah Palin.), and there are posts featuring her new gig at Newsmax, a denial that the Tea party is dead, and of course an attack against the President.

And yet with all of that not one word about the impending birth of her new granddaughter. Hmm, how sad.

In the meantime Nancy French, her pseudo daughter, has been doing her thing over on the blog she grudgingly shares with Palin's real life daughter, with a new post that defends the now infamous South Carolina cop and of course blames the student.

Ahh the Palins! They never fail to reinforce just how right we were on any given issue.
