One time rabid Sarah Palin defender, John Ziegler is back, and he is even MORE disgusting than before.

NBC is hyping an “interview,” to be aired Monday, with convicted child rapist Jerry Sandusky. But what they don’t tell you is the interview wasn’t conducted by NBC. Rather, NBC is airing excerpts of an interview by John Ziegler, right-wing documentarian and propagandist. Ziegler has been publicly skeptical of the charges against Sandusky, who was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse, writing that at the time the grand jury was convened “the legal case against Jerry Sandusky was actually remarkably weak.” 

Ziegler insists he is “not supportive” of Sandusky and does acknowledge he engaged in “criminal behavior.” 

The interview being aired by NBC as news content is part of a larger documentary called “The Framing of Joe Paterno.” On his website, Ziegler lambasts the Freeh Report of the Penn State scandal, which concluded Joe Paterno “failed to protect against a child sexual predator harming children for over a decade.” Ziegler attacks the testimony of assistant coach Mike McQueary who said he observed Sandusky sexually assaulting a child in the shower. Ziegler says “the evidence indicates that McQueary did not witness an assault, but rather a botched ‘grooming’” 

Previously Ziegler has produced films such as “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected” and “Blocking The Path to 9/11,” a film defending an error riddled mini-series seeking to pin blame on Bill Clinton for the 9/11 attacks. 

Ziegler is also defending Reno Saccoccia, the Steubenville football coach who “knew about the rape of a 16-year-old girl by two of his players, but didn’t say a word about it to school administrators or local law enforcement.” On his website, Ziegler asserts Saccoccia is “not culpable” and reveals he has been “advising him for the past several months on how to handle the media firestorm.”

I have NO idea why NBC would give this idiot a platform to use to trash the individuals who courageously came forward to testify about what Jerry Sandusky did, however they surely cannot believe that Ziegler has ANY credible evidence. He is is brazenly pimping his website in the above interview and it is clear that he is desperately trying to come up with some way to get more hits.

As it turns out even Paterno's family knows that Ziegler has nothing:  “If John had a credible way to exonerate Dad, why would we oppose it? Think about that.”

Ziegler is an opportunistic, pathetic piece of human garbage, and  there is no a truly journalistic bone in his body.

"Oh my God there is a story that everybody is talking about.  How can I get my name attached to it so people will pay attention to me again?"

NBC should be ashamed of itself.

Of course I am very cynical about any “conservative” media member giving an opinion on Palin’s electability because of the inherent conflict of commercial interest in not wanting to offend Palin’s passionate supporters. Interestingly, Nolte’s boss Breitbart and his buddy Ann Coulter have come up with a brilliant (gutless? insincere?) way of navigating this minefield by ridiculously claiming that Palin is too good for the office of the presidency. Without getting into the details at this time, based on personal knowledge I can assure you that this is not what Breitbart really believes about her.

But regardless, to Nolte and all other commentators who claim I am wrong about Palin’s chances in 2012, I simply ask you to put your money where your mouth is. I am officially offering a $1,000 bet, at incredible 100-1 odds, that Palin will not be inaugurated president of the United States in January of 2013. This unbelievable $100,000 offer (along with details as to how I would pay in full with the money I had reserved for the charity offer that Keith Olbermann dodged) is available to the first prominent conservative who takes me up on it.

Well what choice do Sarah Palin's flying monkeys really have but to take Ziegler up on his offer in order to defend their queen?  However their lack of confidence in her is written ALL OVER the answer to Ziegler's challenge:

Under the condition that the bet is only operative if Governor Palin runs, we accept the bet and we look forward to cashing Ziegler’s $100,000 check.

Now, it’s up to the Governor to make sure we win this bet.

Number one they are so insecure about her plans for 2012, that they have to put the caveat "Under the condition that the bet is only operative IF Governor Palin runs," before putting up any MORE of their hard earned money to defend the failed half term Governor that they profess to love. And then they virtually fall down on bended knee to beg her not to make them look like assholes for taking Ziegler up on his bet.

I think that this, more than just about anything else, really illustrates how tortured and desperate the people who still support the Grizzled Mama have become.

There is really only ONE image that does justice to their misplaced faith in Sarah Palin's doomed political future.

That poor dog might stay right there until he starves to death, hoping that his master will come back to him.  I wonder if the Palin-bots are that loyal, or should I say, that delusional?

I say this as the guy who risked $300,000 of his life savings to produce the very first pro-Sarah documentary back in 2009 (and the only one with her participation), while putting everything on the line to fight countless battles on her behalf—such as demonstrating outside David Letterman’s studios in New York after the late night talk show host made a joke about 14-year-old Willow Palin getting “knocked up,” being dragged away in handcuffs from a laughable awards ceremony for the liberal ‘news’ anchor Katie Couric, getting regularly attacked as a guest by liberal hosts on MSNBC, and responding with $100,000 offers to charity to debate them on her behalf.

I’ve fought so hard for Sarah, I’m almost unemployable.

On Todd admitting to being a kept man:

Todd called me later to ask if I was okay, which I thought was nice of him. He’s clearly a tough guy, someone you’d definitely want with you if you got lost in the Alaskan wilderness, but underneath that, he seems like a gentle soul and a great husband. If she hadn’t resigned, the state would have practically ground to a halt. Plus, thanks to having to defend herself legally against largely bogus ethics complaints, she needed money, which meant it was essential to take advantage of her limited window of celebrity. So she did her best with a really bad hand of cards. But there was no denying the consequences. In fact, not long after she made the announcement, while I was on my way to Yosemite National Park for an annual family get-away, I received an e-mail from Rebecca.

“Shit, it’s over,” is all it said.

When I caught up with Rebecca on the phone later that day, we agreed that if you resigned after two years of a governorship, you were a ‘quitter’ in voters’ eyes. Your protests to the contrary would be futile.

Of course Ziegler is not ready to admit that Palin was a fraud all the way through, he does have a movie to sell after all, but he does reveal some rather interesting and damning things in the rest of the article.

Sarah Palin inspires Republicans to fight amongst themselves. You know I may have to rethink my opinion of her if this keeps up.

John Ziegler is the "genius" who filmed the documentary "How Obama got elected and Sarah Palin was targeted" a, soft porn for neo-cons, version of the 2008 campaign.

Ever since then Ziegler has been one of Palin's most rabid defenders and, as we can see from this clip, he is even willing to turn on his own party if they do not show the proper level deference to Queen Esther of the North.

Sarah Palin may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened for the Democratic party if she keeps inciting the GOP to eat their young like this. Whoo hoo Go Sarah! (I cannot believe I am saying this.)

Should we tell fanboy Ziegler that if he can scrape together a mere $30 he can see his masturbatory fantasy in all of her unholy glory for himself in Milwaukee?
