People Magazine got a hold of the divorce papers Dakota Meyer filed against Bristol Palin.

Bristol Palin‘s husband, Dakota Meyer, has officially filed for divorce after less than two years of marriage. 

The Medal of Honor recipient tried to keep the split under wraps by using only his and Palin’s initials in the documents, but PEOPLE has obtained the papers filed in a Travis County court in Austin, Texas. 

According to the papers, Meyer said he (D.L.M.) and Palin (B.S.M.M.) are in the process of separating and cited “discord or conflict of personalities” as the reason for their split. The discord, the papers said, “destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Meyer, who shares two young daughters with Palin, Atlee Bay, 9 months, and Sailor Grace, 2, said he believes he and Palin will enter into a written agreement over the custody of their children as well as the division of their estate. (Their estate?)


 A source knowledgeable of the situation tells PEOPLE Meyer moved out of their home in Austin, Texas, around Christmas.

Yep, around Christmas. That is another thing the IM sleuths got right. 

On the divorce papers, which can be seen here, it appears that Dakota made this move to protect some of his assets which he believes are not part of the marriage agreement.

It is also fairly plain that he anticipates a fight and has circled his wagons in preparation.

In other words, yes this could be yet another ugly Palin legal battle.

Well hopefully they will not schedule it for March 27th, Track's trial date, or the Palins will not know which courtroom to show up in to watch their family fall apart.

Every day yet another reason to feel shame that this man is leading our country.

President Donald Trump flubbed a key word in his address to the March for Life rally on Friday, mistakenly telling anti-abortion protesters that it’s wrong for babies to be “born” in the ninth month of a pregnancy. 

“Right now, a number of state laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the ninth month. It is wrong. It has to change,” he said. 

As the Daily Beast pointed out, Trump’s prepared remarks showed that he meant to say “torn,” rather than “born,” in a reference to late-term abortion.

Come on, we know that if this HAD NOT been written out for him that he would have made even less sense.

But hey, let us not forget that according to a 10 minute cognitive test Donald Trump is like the smartest president ever!

People Magazine reveals what former President Barack Obama really thinks of Donald Trump.

“He’s nothing but a bullsh–ter,” Obama told two friends early last November, describing an election night phone call with Trump, in which the businessman suddenly professed his “respect” and “admiration” for Obama—after years of hectoring. 

Speaking to PEOPLE for its new cover story on Obama and his wife Michelle adjusting to life outside the White House, the two friends quoted Obama’s blunt assessment of President-elect Trump. And how has Obama’s opinion changed since Trump been in office? “Well,” said one of the sources, “it hasn’t gotten any better.”

A third source close to Obama tells PEOPLE: “He’s deeply concerned with what he’s seen. But he’s also optimistic and heartened that citizens aren’t just watching it happen but engaging with neighbors and elected representatives at town halls.”

I can't imagine that anybody would find this surprising.

After all everything that Trump has done since taking office is to undermine Obama's policies, and destroy the American people's confidence in the office, and the reputation of the country around the world.

In my opinion Obama was being much too kind.

If I were Obama and somebody asked me about Donald Trump my response would be just one long primal scream at the top of my lungs followed by a quick punch in the throat for asking me such a stupid question.

Six people come forward to verify story from People magazine writer who Melania Trump called a liar just yesterday.

Six colleagues and close friends who corroborate former PEOPLE writer Natasha Stoynoff’s account of being attacked by Donald Trump in 2005 are now coming forward. Among them is a friend who was with Stoynoff when she ran into Melania Trump later in N.Y.C. 

 The wife of the Republican nominee denies meeting Stoynoff after the attack, but Stoynoff’s friend Liza Herz remembers being there during the chance meeting. 

“They chatted in a friendly way,” Herz, who met Stoynoff in college, says. “And what struck me most was that Melania was carrying a child and wearing heels.” 

Trump vigorously denies the story and later attacked Stoynoff on the campaign trail, saying, “She lies! Look at her, I don’t think so.” 

Stoynoff describes meeting Melania later year: “I actually bumped into Melania on Fifth Avenue, in front of Trump Tower as she walked into the building, carrying baby Barron. ‘Natasha, why don’t we see you anymore?’ she asked, giving me a hug.”

In a CNN interview with Anderson Cooper on Monday, Melania denied the encounter ever took place. 

“The story that came out in PEOPLE magazine, the writer she said my husband took her to the room and started kissing her, she wrote in the same story about me that she saw me on Fifth Avenue, and I said to her ‘Natasha, how come we don’t see you anymore?’ I was never friends with her, I would not recognize her,” she told CNN.

So to be clear, according to the Trump family, every other person reinforcing this story is a liar, and the only people that the voting public should trust is one of them.

Boy does that sound familiar or what?

Not only that but if THIS story has been so clearly proven to be accurate, then you have to really give all of the rest of the stories of sexual harassment and assault the benefit of the doubt as well now.

So what do we think, is Melania just as big of a liar as her husband, or is she suffering from some version of Stockholm Syndrome?

("Blink twice if you are being held against your will Melania." Damn, she's had so much surgery I don't think we can even tell if her eyes blink anymore.)

Of course this will do nothing to change the minds of the Trump sycophants, but for any actual Republican politician who has not yet taken back their endorsement, or is still actively campaigning for him, this should really give them pause and cause them to reconsider being so close to this sinking ship of a campaign before they get dragged to the bottom right along with it.

So let's clear up a few things up.

First off Hillary Clinton did not get sick in a vacuum.

 "Everyone's been sick," a campaign source tells PEOPLE. 

At the end of August, two weeks before Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia, a debilitating bug was making the rounds among staff at her headquarters and campaign aides who travel with Clinton, a source tells PEOPLE. 

Secondly Hillary is not the first presidential candidate to campaign with pneumonia.

Hillary Clinton is not the only candidate to experience this illness. In 2004 John Kerry also developed “walking pneumonia.” 

From an email he wrote to the New York Times in 2008, “I remember on the bus in Iowa, my staff thought I’d broken a rib from coughing because my walking pneumonia was so bad.”

Do you remember how the press freaked out about Kerry's illness, and claimed that campaign was over and he needed to be replaced at the top of the ticket?

No you don't. And that it because John Kerry was a man, and Hillary is held to a completely different and unfair standard.

You can deny it if you want, but the evidence is overwhelming.

And speaking of different standards: 

For 18 months, Republican strategists, political pundits, reporters and Americans who follow them have been pursuing Hillary Clinton’s personal email habits, and no evidence of a crime has been found. But now they at least have the skills and interest to focus on a much larger and deeper email conspiracy, one involving war, lies, a private server run by the Republican Party and contempt of Congress citations—all of it still unsolved and unpunished. 

Clinton’s email habits look positively transparent when compared with the subpoena-dodging, email-hiding, private-server-using George W. Bush administration. Between 2003 and 2009, the Bush White House “lost” 22 million emails. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was ginning up support for what turned out to be a disastrous war in Iraq with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and, later, when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons. 

Like Clinton, the Bush White House used a private email server—its was owned by the Republican National Committee. And the Bush administration failed to store its emails, as required by law, and then refused to comply with a congressional subpoena seeking some of those emails.

So was the Bush administration the focus of numerous Congressional investigations,  culminating with the former president being called to testify as to why he and his staff destroyed evidence and defied the law?

No.

Why not?

Because they are Republicans and fuck you, that's why not!

Remember Republicans do not believe in accountability unless it has to do with the Democrats. And that goes triple if their first name is "Hillary."

Nearly a year to the day after news broke that Duggar had inappropriately touched five underage girls when he was a teen, the former 19 Kids and Counting star appears to be rejoining the family business of restoring and selling used cars.

A source tells PEOPLE Duggar "looks happy" and "interacts very well with people," and spends a lot of time at his parents' home, as well as at the family garage. 

According to People magazine the folks around Tontitown where the Duggars live are not particularity scandalized by Josh's presence.

Really?

Gee nice to see that a evangelical moralist can be accused of molesting his sisters, get caught cheating on his wife with a porn star, and discovered searching for more women to cheat with on an online dating site, and then have the whole thing resolved after only a seventh month stay at an uncredentialed faith based "rehab facility."

Ain't hypocrisy grand?

Hillary Clinton laughs off Right Wing fantasy that she will be jailed over e-mail "scandal."

Here is how Hillary Clinton responded to a question about a possible indictment over her e-mail server courtesy of People:  

"Oh my goodness! Matt, I know that they live in that world of fantasy and hope because they've got a mess on their hands on the Republican side," Clinton replied.

"That is not going to happen," she added of the possibility that she might ultimately be forced to take what Lauer called "some kind of political perp walk." 

"There is not even the remotest chance that it's going to happen." Clinton dismissed the FBI investigation into her use of a private email server as a "security review" that had become politicized because of her involvement. 

This is actually believed, not only by the Right Wing, but even by some of those supporting Bernie Sanders.

We have even had a few of them here on IM.

Even my own daughter has parroted Right Wing talking points about Hillary's trustworthiness and possible criminal activity.

You know the Rude Pundit addressed this very thing quite eloquently yesterday:

"The only reason you think Clinton is shady is because 25 years of conservative media shoved it down your throat. She's been accused and accused and investigated and investigated and guess what? Not a goddamn thing has ever come of it. It's all shit made up to damage her. If you keep saying over and over that someone did something wrong, did something wrong, did something wrong, but you never prove it, then you're just an asshole."

Exactly!

The conservatives created a cottage industry of making scurrilous, inflammatory claims about  Hillary Clinton, starting from her days as First Lady and extending through her stint as a New York Senator, then potential presidential nominee for the Democratic party in 2008, to her time as Secretary of State, and now once again as the potential presidential nominee for the Democratic party in 2016.

Those were seeds planted in the fertile soil of the conservative brain, and now those roots have spread to infect the minds of those who have no reason to dislike or distrust Hillary Clinton but do so only because they have been conditioned to do so.

That is what her campaign faces going forward, not an actual indictment for wrong doing, but only the expectation that such an indictment is always just around the corner.

Sarah Palin threatens to sue female rapper who suggested that the "biggest burliest blackest Negroes" should "run a train" on her.

Palin told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement that she will take legal action against Banks "on behalf of all reasonable women of every age, race and political leaning." 

"I've had enough of the unanswered threats and attacks against my family and me," Palin said of Banks' NSFW social media suggestion that the former governor should be sexually assaulted. "So, for the first time I'm going to enjoy the only retribution some protected 'celebrities' seem to understand – I'm suing Azealia Banks and can't wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long." 

First off we all know that Sarah Palin is never going to sue ANYBODY. And if she tried in this case, as disgusting as those comments were, I think she would find herself fighting against the first amendment.

For her part this Azealia Banks person DID issue a sort of barely coherent, meandering apology.

However as it turned out she could not let it go at that and later added a PS that really did not seem all that apologetic:

-I am an EXTREMELY intelligent woman, Mrs. Palin. -“Hey Female Rapper,” was your way to euphemize what you REALLY wanted to say. What you wanted to say was, “Hey little Stereotypical Black, Thing!”
 -Realize that stereotypes are a product of what I like to call the “Critical White Gaze.” The basic fundamentals of the Critical White Gaze are Fear, Ignorance, Curiosity, and Fetishization. 
-Intelligence is not something which can be quantified in 140 Characters. 
 -Twitter is not real, neither is your opinion of me! 
-If Bristol Palin listened to my music she probably wouldn’t have all those cotdamn kids!!!! ;-P #sis #iud #stayinschool #causeitsthebest

Look I hate to take Palin's side here, but this rapper went way over the line in my opinion, and the Grizzled Mama has every right to be a little pissy in response.

Not only that but her initial comments were in response to an article written as parody that in reality had nothing really to do with Sarah Palin.

Of course to be fair some of Sarah Palin's past statements have made it almost impossible to tell which terribly racist comment she made in real life, and which terribly racist comment are parodies of things she has said in real life.

So it appears that Bristol Palin is using her recent Instagram photo of Dakota Meyer with her baby to give the impression that the drama is over. Wanna bet?

Bristol Palin has photographic proof that she’s amicably co-parenting with her ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer. 

The oldest daughter of Sarah Palin posted an Instagram pic of her ex holding their daughter, Sailor Grace. Bristol even captioned the pic, “Too cute not to share.” The new photo shows that things have calmed down between the once bitter exes. 

That same reconciliation theme shows up over at ET Online, People magazine, and US Weekly to name but a few.

Of course this fits a well known pattern with the Palin family.

Make nice in public, and plunge the knife even deeper under the cover of darkness.

I have been watching this play out for years with Levi and his family, as well as other former friends and acquaintances up here in Alaska.

And according to Radar Online that is exactly what's been happening:  

Palin had previously asked a judge to edit her visitation schedule with Meyer so she could spend her first Mother’s Day with her daughter, born in December 2015. But in court documents filed on March 14, Meyer hit back and said he wasn’t backing down.

Meyer’s attorneys asked the judge to set visitation for Mother’s day from 9 a.m. To 6 p.m., noting that “Ms. Palin originally had proposed visitation on that day … and that proposal was relied upon by Mr. Meyer in making his travel plans” from Kentucky to Alaska.

“That will still provide Ms. Palin time with Sailor on Mother’s Day, but will also allow Mr. Meyer, who is traveling across the country to see his daughter, to spend time with her that day as well,” they claim. 

“There is no valid reason to deprive Mr. Meyer of visitation with Sailor that day simply because it states on the calendar that it is Mother’s Day,” the documents continue. “Mr. Meyer cannot change his work and travel plans, which have already been made to move the visitation that was planned and ordered for that day … and it would be unreasonable at this juncture to expect him to do so.

Oh yeah, everything is all peachy keen alright. 

You know if Dakota and his representatives have any doubts about how this will play out going forward I encourage them to reach out to Levi and Sunny Johnston.

I am sure they have plenty they would like to share.

Sarah Palin is getting a new reality show. And this time she gets to judge people. Update!

Move over, Judge Judy. There's a new TV courtroom judge coming to town – and it's none other than former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. 

The onetime vice presidential candidate has been tapped to preside over a new reality court show that would premiere next year. She signed a deal in February with Montana-based production company Warm Springs, a source close to the process tells PEOPLE. 

"It's a production deal," the source explains. "What happens next is she'll meet with stations, make a pilot and sell it." 

Warm Springs first approached Palin with the idea in 2015 and has since put together a team that includes the TV executive who found Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown.

You know you'd think when hell freezes over there would be some notice in the paper.

Of course as we know Palin has no law degree, and her only legal experience is trying not to get caught for breaking the law.

However leave it to her to find a way to put her son Track in front of a judge who WON'T toss him in the clink and throw away the key.

It's been so long I'm confused, do we start taking bets on how long before she quits this one NOW, or AFTER it premieres?

Update: The Daily Mail has pictures of Palin leaving the hospital where Todd is recovering from his snowmachine accident.

In pictures obtained exclusively by Daily Mail Online, Palin appeared tired and tense as she left Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Alaska last Friday after flying home from Florida where she had been campaigning for Donald Trump.

Oh I have no doubt that she's "tired and tense."

Nancy Reagan may be gone but her sharp words concerning Sarah Palin and the current crop of GOP nominees linger on.

I may not have agreed with her politics, but you have to admire her ability to judge people.

It looks like the good news about Levi Johnston's custody situation has caught fire. Update!

So I shared with you Levi's Facebook post yesterday about the end of his struggle with Bristol Palin over child custody.

I think I might have been the first one to do so in fact, but since then it has been picked up by quite a number of news outlets.

Levi Johnston is speaking out about his bitter custody fight over Tripp, his 7-year-old son with his ex, Bristol Palin.

Levi Johnston's perseverance paid off. 

Bristol Palin's former fiancé took to Facebook Tuesday to announce that they have finally reached a custody agreement over their son, Tripp Johnston, now 7. In 2009, Levi announced that he was going to sue his high school sweetheart for joint custody of Tripp after alleging that the entire Palin family was making it difficult for him to see his son. The exes reached a child custody stipulation in 2010, allowing Levi to see Tripp on Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. The court never approved Levi and Bristol's agreement, however, so it never became finalized. The case was dismissed in 2012 for lack of activity. Then, in 2013, Levi filed a petition in which he sought at least equal custody of Tripp.

It took seven years and over $100,000, but according to Bristol Palin's ex Levi Johnston, it was worth everything to get joint custody of their son, Tripp. 

Palin's former fiancé took to Facebook on Tuesday, February 23, to give his side of the long and expensive custody battle he's faced in order to legally establish his right to coparent his son.

Looks like a win for Levi Johnston. 

The ex-fiancé of Bristol Palin and father of her oldest child, son Tripp, took to Facebook on Tuesday, outlining, in his own words, the end of his ongoing custody battle with the Alaska native. 

Hollywood Life: 

Look who is shocking everyone, Levi Johnston — and for good reason! Bristol Palin’s ex-fiancé has stepped up big time as a father and he wants us all to know. The Alaskan native announced on Facebook that it took seven years and $100,000, but he officially got joint custody of their son, Tripp.

And the Daily Mail:  

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have finally settled their child custody dispute over son Tripp seven years after the young boy was born.

Is anybody else picking up a kind of gleeful vibe from some of these news stories, as if the authors kind of enjoy watching the Palins taking one on the chin?

Personally I am happy to report that Levi's post is still up on his Facebook page.

I think we can say with some confidence that the Palins cannot be too happy that he put it up, and I imagine there have been some aggressive attempts to get him to take it down.

But unlike the last time, when it was removed in less than two hours, it appears that Levi is tired of their shit and is leaving this one up.

Good for him.

No way that happened without pressure from the Palins.

People magazine flatly states out loud that Bristol Palin's newest child was born in November.

So People magazine has up a rather innocuous article about some new photos that Bristol posted to Instagram featuring Tripp holding Sailor Grace.

It's all mostly fluff of course, until you get to this portion:

Palin welcomed the newest addition to her family in November, announcing the news in a sweet Instagram snap of herself and her bundle of joy. 

Wait, November? 

Well that is certainly not in line with the official Palin family version of events, now is it?

Of course we have long argued that the baby was born on November 4th, but the official, Palin family approved, version states that Sailor Grace was born on December 23, 2015.

So did People magazine make a boo boo? Or do they know something that we are not supposed to know?

Nancy French channels Sarah Palin's anger at Tina Fey's impression of her, by accusing SNL of being desperate. All while posing as her daughter Bristol Palin of course.

But of course Nancy/Sarah/Bristol is not done yet:

Saturday Night Live and Fey have been clinging to this impersonation a little too long. It’s getting pathetic. Its been 7 years! Are they desperate for content? Or just desperate for viewers?

French then mocks the fact that SNL does not have a fancy PAC to help them buy super expensive porcupine wear, and had to make Fey's version in their costume department.

There's a "who wore it better poll" offered as well for click bait, but seriously is that even a contest?

In the other news it looks like Bristol is returning to that fake job of hers and abandoning yet another child to a nanny, or poorly qualified sibling to watch.

Oddly enough the People magazine article that featured this photo also said the following:On Dec. 23, Palin welcomed daughter Sailor Grace, whose father is former fiancé Dakota Meyer.

Uh, isn't that sort of an unsettled matter thus far?  Or does People magazine know something we don't know?

Bristol Palin's pregnancy tantalizes the tabloids. Oh I know a former reality star and washed up politician who is NOT going to like this!

"Palin has not said who the father of her baby is."

Nor will she ever.

Bristol was also featured over at People, US, the Daily Mail, Radar Online, and Perez Hilton.

Most of the articles make a point out of the fact that Bristol has not shared the father's name, though Radar Online claims that sources have told them she has identified Dakota Meyer.

If that is true then she is certainly not sticking to that story, because from what I have been hearing she is simply refusing to identify the father and does not want to even talk about it.

In the meantime the Grizzled Mama continues to link to the Nancy French ghostwritten blogposts over on Brancy's blog, however none of the ones that mention Bristol's pregnancy of course.

Gee it's almost as if she thinks if she doesn't acknowledge it, it will just go away.

You know these people REALLY could have benefited from a sex ed class or two.

Source claims Duggars surprised and heartbroken that their reality show was yanked off the air, believe God wants them back on TV.

When news broke that the Duggars' hit TLC show 19 Kids and Counting had been officially canceled, no one was more disappointed than the family, a source who has worked closely with them tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. 

 The cancellation came two months after a 2006 police report surfaced revealing that Josh Duggar had been accused at age 14 of molesting five underage girls – including two of his sisters, Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald. (He apologized and said he had "acted inexcusably" after the report became public.) 

The source says the evangelical Christian family, who often discussed their religious faith on their TLC show, is "heartbroken that they've now lost that platform." 

"The Duggars want to return to TV because they truly believe it was part of God's plan for them to spread the word about their faith," the source says. 

"I think Jim Bob and Michelle honestly did expect people to just move on from this," the source adds. "Their thinking is, they put this behind them ages ago, so why wouldn't the rest of the world?" 

Yeah, if sexual molestation was no big deal to them, why should it be a big deal to anybody else? 

I love how when religious people really want to do something that they always claim God is the one that wants it for them. 

"Hey, hey, hey, you can say no to us, but can you really say no to God?"

Yes, yes we can.

The Duggars are a seriously fucked up family and they should NEVER be given another national platform. And if there really WERE a god, they certainly wouldn't.

There is the ongoing concern with ISIS both over seas and at home. The only people fighting and winning seem to be the Kurds and an off duty patrol officer in Texas. There is a ever growing divide amongst peoples in this nation that needs to mend now, not later. There is political corruption at every turn and a looming national debt that has mortgaged our great grandchildrens' future it so big. 

Let's start turning the conversation from the entertaining inconsequential to the relevant and timely concerns that face us. 

Well certainly no points for grammar in this post, but he is fear mongering with the best of them. 

However it is the more "subtle" message I found interesting.

Mentioning DWTS outright makes it almost impossible not to recognize that this criticism is aimed directrly at Bristol, after all there are a number of other reality shows he could have called out by name.

And the graphic showing People magazine and TMZ, where the Palin family have been covered extensively, is not exactly vague either.

So I would assume that now that Meyer has rid himself of all things Palin, he wants to make as much distance between himself and their crazy ass family as possible.

So how better to do that then to take a giant dump on the things that define them these days, reality shows, paparazzi coverage, and pseudo celebrity status.

However I would be remiss if I did not point out that Meyer himself is currently helping to raise money to make a movie with his pals, currently uses his fame to hawk t-shirts on the internet, and that he did appear on "Amazing America" with Palin last year.

Remember Dakota?

So if Meyer REALLY wants to differentiate himself from the Palin clan perhaps he ought to work on being less of a hypocrite.

P.S. Is it wrong that I really hope that this is only the first of many not so veiled attacks that Meyer launches at his former fiance and her family?

The post Bristol Palin's ghostwriter put up about her cancelled wedding goes viral.

Not to brag but I actually knew this whole thing was doomed when I first saw this picture.

So yesterday, as you all know, Nancy French typed out a completely flat and uninformative post about Bristol's cancelled wedding. 

Today the various online news outlets took notice.

Those included the Huffington Post, US Magazine, Radar Online (Who insist on calling Levi a "deadbeat dad," which is not remotely true.),  Fox News, People Magazine, and the list goes on.

Most of the articles are fairly cut and paste, but the comments are a potpourri of Palin bashing and outright mockery.

For my part I have kept my ear to the ground since Bristol stumbled back into Wasilla, and from what I have heard Bristol seems to be mostly relieved, but also not at all certain about what comes next.

She is also treating herself to various extravagant purchases, and outings with friends, to take her mind off of all the online publicity.  And possibly to thumb her nose at her mother.

However if past is prologue that will mean that Bristol will soon focus all of her attention on her son, and that does not bode well for anybody who she feels keeps them apart.

You know like his dad, who of course now has court appointed time with him. 

Levi and Sunny might want to batten down the hatches, because this could get nasty.

Sarah Palin doubles down on that whole Palin-Meyer family co-picnic. Update!

As promised, the Palin and Meyer families are gathering for a barbecue at the ex-Marine's Kentucky farm, where the wedding was supposed to be held on Saturday. 

Bristol's mother, Sarah Palin, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement, "This Kentucky farm is a beautiful setting for our friends and families to gather in celebration of life itself this Memorial Day weekend. Nothing is more precious to us than family, faith and America's freedom." 

"On the year anniversary of our families meeting each other (I'm sorry, so now they are supposed to have know each other for a year?), this weekend is to appreciate both our families' unconventional, unexpected chapters in exciting lives, with pages turning to more opportunities to live life vibrantly," the former Alaska governor continues. "This centers on showing love and respect for our military's sacrifices, and that's what Memorial Day is all about." 

Well okay then, taking Palin at her word, I guess we should all be prepared for one of the most awkward picnics in recorded history. 

However today is the 23rd, so if the Palin clan are planning to arrive in Kentucky this weekend they better already be on the plane. After all it IS Memorial Day weekend. 

And by the way I hope she realizes that there is a significant burden of proof placed on her to convince all of us that this is indeed happening.

Using internet parlance, "pictures or it never happened." And I mean pictures of Bristol and Sarah WITH Dakota and his family, not just photos of a Kentucky airport or some generic picnic pictures with the Palins photoshopped into them.

Hey, maybe People magazine would like to cover the event?

Hell if somebody buys me a ticket, rents me room not too close to a pig slaughtering plant, and pays for my inoculation against deep fat fried southern stupidity, I would be happy to cover it myself.

Update: Okay last night Willow posted a video of Trig twerking (Gee I wonder who taught him that?) next to a guy who looks and sounds a lot like Dakota.

However today Bristol posted a picture of Tripp riding his bike down a bike path surrounded by pine trees.

Any pine trees in Kentucky?

If yesterday's attempt to take credit for inspiring Hillary's "Scooby Van" did not convince you of the depths of Palin's pettiness, this should do it.

Surprised a recent dust up with Hollywood became an actual news story today – People magazine pretty much summed it all up (http://www.people.com/article/sarah-palin-is-a-Louis-CK-fan-after-his-apology-for-mean-tweets). A takeaway, though, is that wearing ammo in my ears was purposefully not a subliminal message; it was blatant in contrast to liberal MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry's choice of earrings. 

Okay this took me a second because I did not know the context of MHP's tampon earrings, however as it turns out she wore them on her show as a protest against Texas signing that abortion bill in 2013.

Of course Palin wore her bullet earrings during SNL's 40th Anniversary in a desperate attempt to attract attention.

The rest of Palin's ghost written post has to do with an apology that Louis CK admitted to Howard Stern that he delivered to Palin during that SNL appearance.

Palin of course was so excited that somebody was actually talking about her that she immediately rang up People magazine to give her side:  

"Maybe it surprises people, but I was sincerely humbled and appreciative," Palin tells PEOPLE of her encounter with the comedian at the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special's after-party in February. 

Yes it does surprise people, and they don't believe you.  

Louis C.K. told Stern that he's "never in a million years" apologized for any of his jokes before, but added that that night, "something came over me emotionally and I said, 'Well, I owe you an apology.' " 

That's where Palin picks up the story: "I had to ask C.K. what it was he was apologizing for. ...C.K. explained he'd said some things about me and was sorry, and went on with such a nice, humble apology. I laughed and said he didn't need to apologize, for I hadn't even heard it. Then I teased him that, 'If you really did say nasty things about me, well, then you're the only person to have ever said mean things about me, so for shame!' "

By a show of hands who here does not believe that Palin has a little book where she jots down the name of every single person who ever said anything even remotely critical of her. 

Yeah me too.

"I wish I could have spoken with him longer. And again, I sincerely appreciated his unexpected and character-revealing apology," she says. "I think he's the only one in Hollywood who's ever done that." 

And he's the last one who ever should. 

I have said it before, and I will say it again, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, should ever apologize to Sarah Palin. It just sets a bad precedent.

Now I realize that some of the things that Louis CK said were pretty horrible, but trust me she deserved every single nasty epithet, and so much more.

The woman is a nasty, hateful, destructive, force of nature, that destroys the lives of everybody who gets close and who grifts from the most ignorant, pathetic group of barely human like beings on this planet.

If you apologize to her that lends legitimacy to the idea that she is a victim. But she's no victim.

Was Genghis Khan a victim?

Was Joe McCarthy a victim?

Was Judas Iscariot a victim? (Okay well actually he might have been.)

Sarah Palin is no victim. And apologizing to her is akin to saying you're sorry to a KKK member for splashing mud on their nice white outfit.

Don't do it!
