In what is surely a brilliant bit of counter-insurgency marketing, OR Books will be releasing the political antidote to Sarah Palin's memoir Going Rogue with Going Rouge--Sarah Palin, An American Nightmare, on November 16, the day before Palin's tome explodes on the national book market.Well it certainly sounds like he enjoyed the book.
He even takes a moment to point out the contributions of two of our Alaska bloggers.
While two of Alaska's best known bloggers (and HuffPo contributors) Jeanne Devon (AKMuckraker) and Shannyn Moore are included in the collection (Devon thoughtfully explains the brutal ironies of Palin using the term "rogue" in the title of her book), the Last Frontier gets more than a bit short shrifted in Going Rouge, and that's too bad.

It's time for Levi to put up or shut up. Dangling tidbits to get in the headlines may be his way to threaten Sarah Palin, but she justs keeps movin on... If he has something newsworthy, then he needs to find the right news outlet or talk to authorities and put an end to this tabloid mess... I believe Sarah adopted Trigg and MSM will stay far away from this for protection of this child. Laws protect these children, as they should. It is very difficult to call her out on her faked pregnancy without endangering the rights of the child, but this has gone on long enough. The courts will make any decisions regarding custody issues - they do not need to be played out in the media. If Levi needs money to pay for attorneys, all he has to do is ask and I am sure he would receive more than enough to support his cause. Levi needs to start acting like a concerned citizen with some integrity and do something with this information he has. You cannot blame him for trying to earn some money, but he shouldn't be doing it at the expense of the disruption she presents to the governing of this nation. This goes for everyone else involved - think about the good of this country and the damage she creates everytime she opens her mouth and the ones who could stop her won't...

ReplyDeleteThe USA needs to be very careful. If you want to stop this train wreck, you better do it soon. You need a big "stick". You have to have the conviction to use it. And you better strike a decisive blow.
All that your blogs have succeeded in acomplishing to date is to bolster the resolve of her supporters. You say you have the goods on her, but we have yet to see them. You have a lot of speculation that seems to be a viable alternative perspective of past events, but hardly conclusive. You need far more than fuzzy photographs whose dates cannot be verified. Stuff like that puts you on the same footing as "Birthers". You need clear concise documentation, and I quite frankly do not beleive you have it.
Celtic Diva has put in a great amount of affort and has done an excellent job of breaking down inconsistencies in financial disclosures, but there is little there that can't be explained away by nothing more than an "oops". Hardly damaging nor relevant unless you are a hardcore anti-Palinist.
While you guys are huddled by your keyboards picking away grains of sand, her support is gaining momentum. As was stated in the HP article "There was no talk this week of offfering Mitt Romney nor Mike Huckabee $100K to speak in Iowa" Don't think for one second that her supporters could not have easily raised that $100K if controversy did not put a stop to it.
Also, don't think her intervention in NY's 23th district didn't have a profound effect to date. (BTW, is it just me or does Doug Hoffman not look totally creepy?) Tim Pawlenty's endorsment of Hoffman is hardly newsworthy next to Palin's headliner endorsement. Only if Hoffman loses, will it take some wind out of her sails.
If you have the "stick" you better use it soon or you may be blogging about President Palin sooner than you think.

I ordered my copy two weeks ago from OR Books, but think its a shame that it won't be on sale through Amazon or local bookstores. I realise it's probably a "print-to-order" book, but wish they'd be able to print enough copies to be for sale at outlets.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you whose comments aren't getting onto Huffpo, I was having the same problem and then realized I had downloaded the latest version of Firefox. That with scripts caused something to change. If you are using the new Firefox, you have to "allow the whole page" before comments will be transmitted. That could be the problem. Hope that helps.

There are many of us who believe in you 100%, but this is turning into a three ring circus and guess who the ringmaster is. The circus is leaving town and guess who is driving... Who cares if Sarah is making money on her book of lies... Her speaking tour isn't working out as well as she hoped... BUT, her mouth from facebook is still talking... WHO is going to shut her up? She is dividing this country and I think it is absolutley stupid that she can garner so much support from the most uninformed, uneducated citizens that are moving into a position to take this country in directions that will be harmful to all of us as citizens and damage our credibility around the world. I just ordered the book. I have also spent the better part of the evening between trick or treaters arguing with Conservative who are backing Hoffman here in NY. Dede Scozzafava has dropped out of the race supposedly handing Hoffman the win. His supporters are pinning this all on the support he received from Palin. PLEASE the things you know about Palin need to get out there soon before other repubs and conservatives in the country start lining her up to campaign for them. I'm exhausted.

Amazon and B&N, either stores or online, will never have Going Rouge because the publisher has chosen to spend all their operating capital on advertising, rather than paying the approximate 40% cut required by retailers for decent distribution. I have also made the suggestion to Gryphen that he should co-author the definitive truth about SP with me, but he has not responded to my suggestion. I have been involved with POD publishing for ten years and I know how it works.
The problem is that the media is selling us all out, people, and I mean ALL the media. This story is bigger than Watergate specifically BECAUSE the media is in on the scam. The Christian Mafia has been planning a takeover of the USA for decades, and now they are making their big move. You can research all of SP's many monetary scams until your eyes explode, but far too many of the citizens of this country will not give a rat's derriere! What will get their attention is one thing and one thing only: BABYGATE!
OK Grphyen - what's it going to be? Are you going to help get the truth out or sit back and wait until somebody else will get the nerve to talk and then sit in the background and say you knew it all along, but couldn't say anything... The republican party is actually shrinking because of people like Sarah Palin. And if she causes the republican party to split, that is not a good thing. Even people in the G.O.P. know that.

ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely true, but the problem is it sounds so crazy it is very difficult to convice people of the very truth they need to know. You are right babygate being revealed to the public would convice people that she is capable of huge deception.
Gryphen, why does the HuffPo only use two of the Alaskan bloggers? There are a lot of great bloggers in Alaska including you. HuffPo is suppose to be liberal-left, but they are picking pretty moderate liberal bloggers. Is it like a popularity contest? They don't seem to go with the less controversial bloggers in other states. I believe you do have information about Palin which you are unable to disclose. It is strange how they are willing to report all the nutty stuff about Palin until it comes to babygate.

If it was found out that not only they read it, but also have talked to me about what I have been through they would loose their jobs. They could not beat the information out of me because they are the good state employees and are our hope for the future.

ReplyDeleteRegarding Hoffman, the numbers went down in the polls after Dede called 911 when a news reporter asked her questions while walking with her to her car. Witnesses said there was no threat or harm, just a reporter asking questions.

It's rather sickening that she gets so much attention. While all the stuff is happening in the background regarding Palin's eventual downfall, we really really need to be proactive in not letting her credibility build. We shouldn't be harassing Gryphen and Levi. We need to be the ground troops, by supporting the Dem. candidates in NY and NJ and TX. ETC. Get liberals out to vote. Be community organizers like President Obama won the election. Remember it is "us" who have to do the work to get our country back. We can't just sit at our computers and complain. If nothing else, donate money to help the right candidates win the elections in every local election you can. If you don't have money, get people out to vote. Go register ethnic communities, drive them to the polls. Yes we can! (please)

What folks are really freaking out about is the following of this whack job - many of us didn't know they existed right in our own back yards because they are just now crawling out of the woodwork with vocal chords fully engaged (brains and hearts - not so much).
Change brings protest - don't forget that. It always has, it always will. These people have always been a part of our country's history. They are, and will remain, a minority. They have no moderate goals and do not realize that without the ability to negotiate or compromise, they are just a cult with the inevitable sad or tragic ending we have seen so many times before. They can not control a country in which they have nothing in common with 80% plus of the population.
Do your part, and support our great AK bloggers working their hearts out while you're at it. Being whiney is what THEY do - don't be THEM.

Talk about projection. If anyone is "white trash", it's Sarah Palin. But you don't hear people saying that about her because it's not PC to say stuff like that. Which is why it's funny that they call Levi that, because they don't even realize how they give themselves away, or their desperation to elevate themselves at someone else's expense.
Yeah, Sarah Palin is the "white trash", and I thank the Palinbots for the Levi trashing so that I could put their words in quotes and finally say them about Sarah Palin. Sarah is nouveau riche tacky hillbilly trash with red patent leather peep toe heels (does it get any trashier? I mean, really!) and a bunch of kids having babies under her roof while she spits out incomplete sentences made to seem important by throwing in a few "big words" randomly.

Margot helps illustrate the point that I made in my first post this morning. The people who are really paying attention, and care about the truth, are not asking me to post what I know on IM. They are aware that it will be easily dismissed and marginalized by making the claim that I am a "Palin-hater", and unless the MSM were to pick up the story it would not receive wide distribution. (We have all seen how long it took to get "babygate" info on Huffington.)

Remember that I allow these negative comments to go through, for a reason. They do in fact serve a purpose. The more intelligent among you have probably figured out what that is, the others will just have to be patient.

Seems that there is an old adage that clearly applies here: "People who in glass houses..."
And to those of you who are supporters of SP and fall under the heading of holier than thou--maybe a re-reading of the third chapter of Ecclesiastes--verse 7, might do you some good. It could be that it may even send a deserved chill up and down your spines--and not in a good way.
Now then, if you are not finding the information you want to hear/read at this site, the obvious and rational thing for you all to do is to move on to a website that meets your needs.
Life is too short to waste your time following a blog that you clearly express as being something that is wasting your time. So, in that respect, you are only making yourselves look ridiculous and identifying yourselves, in the internet vernacular, as obvious "trolls."
P.S. And of these who were "allowed" by their preachers to read any of the J.K. Rowling books, then they have a clear snapshot of what they represent--and what they are risking when they happen to wander into the wrong room and try to wreak havoc.

Gryphen states that he has the info to take Palin down.
Those that are complaining dont have it and cant get it. If they did have the info they would surely be screaming it from the rooftops, so there complaints are valid.
We are all supposed to be on the same side here, and have the same goals. Gryphen himself has chided those who have sat back and stayed silent about what they know and allowed Palin to prosper. She is gaining and it is scaring people.
Therefore people are urging the one person who claims to have the answer to get on with it before its too late. Promises have been a long time coming you have to admit.
The frustation is valid. Gryphen has chosen to sit on it, others if they had the same information would not choose the same tactic.
I just hope it is not too late and that Palin has not become so powerful by the time someone decides to speak up that it will be swept under the rug. I fear that is what is happening hear and so do many others.
We are all on the same side, just have different opinions on how to go about it. Unfortunately for most of us the one person who has the info to do it has chosen to keep quiet for now.

ReplyDeleteThe Palin book will be released in a little over three weeks. Once it is on the shelves, right there in black and white, there can be no way for her to back track on what it contains. Any evidence that can (and probably will) be released at that point can be no holds barred and in direct response to her claims, lies and misrepresentations--hang in there, 12:03, please.
There seem to be some pretty bright people behind the these little quests for truth and they are, no doubt, thinking it through and playing it smart. And, if I were to guess, my guess would be that SP and a few others are probably peeing down their legs about now--and will continue to make puddles on the carpet for quite some time in the future. Just my guess.

If you want to make someone irrelevant and no matter what the truth is, make certain they are slandered and the media won't even write their name.
Take a lesson from this trio.
I once knew something about Arianna Huffington. Anyone could see it, no one wanted to look. It went on with what seemed forever that no one questioned the obvious.
Her husband was running on immigration policies different from how they lived. Also people knew their family values spiels was faked. No one thought of Micheal Huffington as running since she appeared to be the one behind it all.
I could have said more about their farce and been harassed. Finally the LA Times started to take a look and the rest is history.
