Believe it or not in the week long online poll conducted by the folks over at NPR, Palin's book "Going Rogue" is crushing the sure to be brilliant, and much more truthful "Going Rouge" in popularity.
This is what the voting looks like so far.
-- 75% said: "Hate it! I'll buy Rogue.
-- 16% said: "Love it! I'll buy Rouge.
-- 9% said: "Count me out. I don't want either book".
But fear not true believers! There is still time to cast your vote for "Going Rouge" and let your voice be heard in support of truth, justice, and putting a stop to any more Palin lies.
Well? What are you waiting for? Click the title and vote!
Just voted -- "Rouge" is now up to 19% and "Rogue" is at 72%. Maybe the tide is turning!
ReplyDeleteWell, I voted last week by ordering "Rouge" from the publisher, OR Books!
ReplyDeleteI wont be buying either book. Rogue is full of lies and Rouge has nothing new to offer.
ReplyDeleteI'm sick of this crap anyway. I havent checked on the Palin Saga in awhile. Apparently I made the right choice to get on with my life since it seems nothing new has surfaced.
I really truly am dumbfounded at the fact that the people who know about Palins lies continue to cover for her and allow this woman to get stronger and stronger(This includes her allies and her foes). By the time anyone decides to out her dirty secrets it will be too late. She is effectively discrediting anyone who spills and they will not be believed.
It disgusts me, this woman is gaining power everyday and those that keep her secrets are just fueling it. If this continues on this way she will have a position of power again. And we will have all those who sat on their secrets to thank for it.
Her fan base must be pushing the vote. I voted for rouge and I probably will buy it.
ReplyDeleteWhat's happening with Levi?

Tired of voting. I am glad to see by those percentages that a lot more "fans" listen to NPR, of the majority, it seems. At least they're not listening to that other station(s) that promotes her.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I watched President Obama, or at least a portion, while speaking in Jacksonville, FL at a naval function just a bit ago. I didn't see the beginning, and I had to change channels from MSNBC to CNN, so I missed a portion. But, what I saw was awesome.
This is going to be fun to watch!

Currently 70/20/9--interesting.
Currently, Rogue 70%
ReplyDeleteRouge 20%
Levi did not do the interview on The Early Show today. Bree Palin's blog has the scoop.
ReplyDeletecrap... I voted for the wrong Rogue. I wonder how many of the "Pro Rogue" meant to vote for the Rouge? I swear I'm an educated person, but I screwed the pooch on this one.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Rouge
ReplyDeleteWent to O/R to order the other day, and was not able to--system was down? wierd!
Okay, I voted for Rouge and will buy it. I just cannot belive many Palin fans listen to NPR.
ReplyDelete21 to 69 now.
ReplyDeletePalin is nothing but an anti-social rogue. She was an anti-social Governor.
ReplyDeleteHer followers are willing to worship an iconic view of Palin and don't require her presence. That's the only reason it works.
The GOP learned just what Alaska did. The lights are on but nobodys home. The only time she did come out, she had her kids on board! (The Straight Lie Express to Nowhere).
Ak Sisu
The Rogue to Nowhere can't get too close to anyone without her box of crazy showing. I wonder when Murdock realizes that he's turning into a joke just as we in the State of Alaska were, also too. For some reason, I think Palin would be more in Murdock's vision nothing more than a: "bothersome gnat" - I don't think she's rubbing elbows with anyone.
I went to amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com and niether of them is selling "Going Rouge". I assume the publisher is only printing "to order" books, but it would be interesting to see the sales figures if buyers could buy it on line at amazon and barnesandnoble or at their bookstores.
ReplyDeleteOrdering it from OR books was okay, but they'd get many more sales if they made ordering it easier.
Well, it's nice to see that poll isn't the kind you can vote countless times from the same IPS.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, I'm sure the Palinistas have figured out a way around that, like voting from AOL, where the ISPs aren't static. Anyone HERE use AOL? :)
For a more complete analysis of the Going Rouge situation, take a look here. It seems that this book is not going to be available except directly from the publisher, and the ordering system has been out of order for several days now. I have personally confirmed this information with the publisher. That's a shame.

There is no tother dirt to tell on sarah. Levi and no one else have anything of substance. all they keep saying is that it'll come out later, in the meantime she is snubbing her nose at everybody. evrything about her is out alrady. She's laughing at all of us because the more we talk about her the more she stays relevant and she knows it. Bad pres is better than no press.
ReplyDeleteGryphen,
ReplyDeleteWhat is Tank thinking? If Levi would get his own book out, he wouldn't need Playgirl's money. It hurts his image as a loving baby daddy, and hurts his credibility if he ever tells the truth. I fear that Tank's advice has gone rogue.
what happened to "stand up for our nation"? How is she "fighting hard for Alaska"? Iti's been a while since her resignation... What is her "calling"? Or how about her tweets as "sarahpalin USA"? This is one half baked alaskan that cannot follow through very well. We're still waiting Sarah...not everyone is as patient as all your facebook followers who just want to lick you.

ReplyDeleteWhile I understand your point of view, I am not certain that I can totally agree--and here is the reason why.
It wasn't until early spring of this year that I was made aware that the T1 question was even still out there.
It wasn't until she resigned that I started seriously looking at her, her antics as governor and those who hold, and pull, her puppet strings.
Once the books come out, my guess is that there will be numerous inquiries about her, such that the work that Gryphen and others are doing will, at that point, be invaluable information for those who have not previously paid attention. All this will be new to them--she was nothing more than a bad joke to me until earlier this year--then I discovered there is really nothing at all funny about her.
It is true that often bad press may be better than no press at all, but sometimes it does the trick. For example: Richard Nixon and his notorious plumber pals.
love the fact that NPR even HAS this poll! LMFAO!!!
ReplyDeleteRe Levi and Tank: Please remember that Rex Butler has also defended several local "gangstas" on murder charges. His choice of clients in the past has been questionable to say the least. I realize that someone has to defend them, but he seems to go out of his way to take these bad boys and try to make them look like choir boys. Wonder why.
ReplyDeleteFrom the HuffPo article on Tank Jones verifying the Full Monty from Levi: "A representative for the magazine told the New York Post that the shoot will happen in mid-November 'in order to get the pictures out for the holidays.' "
ReplyDelete------------------
Hmmm....just in time for Oprah to comment on the photo shoot when Palin shows up on her talk show the day before Palin's book is released?
I'll bet that'll be the first time you actually see a full-blown temper tantrum from a celebrity/ex-politician LIVE on TV!
Floyd M. Orr @3:12. Yes, the OR/"Going Rouge" online ordering system is down. But look at it this way: Maybe the system crashed as the result of an onslaught of orders.

Anyone have a link for Rouge??
ReplyDeleteI remember fundie Dr. Laura. Their right wing organizations can get out thousands of "votes" at record speed. It is the same with Palinbots.
ReplyDeleteThey will come out in force against Levi.
Why are people buying into the ridiculous he's doing Playgirl and he's not credible?
I voted last week by ordering four copies of "Going Rouge". I also wrote to several school and public libraries asking them to carry it as well- insured mail, return receipt requested.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like this one from Betty Bowers, America's Greatest Christian:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.bettybowers.com/goingrouge.html
The trolls have taken over NPR, and they're working overtime on Huffington Post too. The teabaggers are so angry and hateful, that they post incessantly their fascism.
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 4:29
ReplyDeletePalin is being given all the time in the world to discredit those that will/may out her. She has discredited gryphen with the whole divorce thing. She is winning. They think that waiting for the right moment is the best bet, but they are wrong. All they have done is give her enough time to discredit and cover up anything they have to say. So by the time anyone says anything no one will care or no one will believe because the source will be questionable because Palin has had the time to paint them as questionable. So she will say "Thats a lie" and she will be believed.
Time is not on their side in this case.
Rouge is up to 24% - with a bullet.
ReplyDeleteI just voted for rouge. Anyone that thinks no credible person/people will reveal what they know is delusional. In fact, those with the most knowledge are usually the last to talk. I'm sure that's a foreign concept to Sarah as she lacks the ability to think and plan long-term. Actually I dont think she plans much of anything. Like a child, she simply reacts. Her family and friends must be so disappointed that she has not been able to follow through with any of the amazing opportunities she has had. Again, like a child, she grabs for instant gratification every time. For crying out loud, if she would have used some restraint and invested a mere year to be mentored she WOULD have been a force to be reckoned with. Instead she single handedly assured she will never be more than a big fish in an increasingly small pond. Miss fishy pants indeed!
ReplyDeleteThe smart people are biding their time. They understand the value of giving her enough rope to hang herself. She better hope her book is accurate b/c people will be LOOKING for inaccuracies.
"Rumor" has it that when D.D. said he would date Sarah he was really baiting her. He was dared to see if he could prove her marriage is a sham. I know for FACT he thinks she's coarse. I wont repeat what else he said. Oh, the man who dared him is someone Sarah THINKS supports her. The pond gets smaller!
I might buy "Hustler" if she's got a staple in her belly.
ReplyDeletePlease write Amazon and ASK them to carry "Going Rouge." I did.
ReplyDeleteSomeone is allegedly sending me "Going Rogue" by two-day mail today. It will be interesting to see if it's really $P's book, won't it? If it is, Gryphen, would you like me to FedEx it to you after I finish marking it up?
Mrs. Tarquin Biscuitbarrel
Kiki @ 7:32 do tell more!
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't think anyone is going to come out against Sarah until her book is out. Once her words are in print, she won't be able to back out of anything. Whether or not any of her "gates" will be exposed, I don't know, but I think it will be conservatives and liberals attacking her.
