  1. I do not underestimate the power of the late night comedic shows.

They tell it like it is, and I am so thankful.

Without Tina Fey on SNL, Palin might have fooled MANY voters (who do not watch the "news" shows).

Okay, time to get our stories straight:

I O'Donnell and Ayotte win their primaries, it has nothing to do with Palin's endorsement. If they lose, it is all her fault.

    Ca-peesh?

    I really don't like leno. I'm a letterman girl.

but I do like maher. I enjoyed his appearance on leno, and I couldn't agree more with his opinion on the nyc mosque. I feel the same way.

I have a large mosque in my neighborhood. today as I was cutting thru their parking lot on the way to get some beer, I thought about the current political/religious climate. isn't that interesting that both politics and religion seem to be connected these days? but I digress. I thought back to when I lived in this neighborhood 15 years ago (moved away & have since come back), and there was no animosity towards muslims like there is today. it's a completely different climate, manufactured from some story about terrorist attacks. 15 years ago these people where the same as the other monotheists. no one paid them any mind, no one looked at them as "different." today we are told that they are "different" and the insinuation is that they're "less." well I still see them the same way I always have. just another group of monotheists. probably not doing anything bad, other than brainwashing their children - which is no different than the other monotheistic religions. they're all the same.

and on that note, I think I'll have another beer and be glad that I wasn't brainwashed as a child. it really is a dangerous thing to fill children's heads with myths and tell them that they're truths.

Lamontagne is leading the race against Ayotte - 53% - 32%.

Palin's endorsement was a joke in NH and did nothing to help Ayotte. Most people don't want a prosecutor in office and especially not a prosecutor who lets her friends get off. She had 10 years to prosecute the RE scammers and she did nothing. The FBI had to get involved before Ayotte would lift a finger.

  7. Johnny Carson at his worst was never as lame and unfunny as Leno.

Three cheers for Bill Maher, John Stewart and Stephen Colbert! They are comics who use the news for the basis of much of their humor and make much better and more telling points than the braindead pundits.

4:46, palin doesn't crown anyone. she just attaches herself to the controversy. it's voter anger that does it. are you saying the teabots can't make a decision on their own? that they need palin to tell them what to do? nope. i didn't think so. the teabots are an angry mob. and i mean that in the nicest way. they are sick of washington politics as usual (btw, palin did not make up that expression. there isn't an original idea in her toolbox). is that anger justified? in many cases. misdirected? absolutely.

so, when the voters are pissed off enough to go to the polls and vote in the average joe/jane, well, that's all them.

when the tea party candidate loses, it's because the teabots weren't buying what that candidate was selling...in spite of silly sarah's support.
