Palin does the safest of softball interviews with Mary "Why won't my face stop smiling" Hart.

Here is the link to the video. (I decided to remove the embd because it was one that automatically played and it was driving people nuts.)

"Just a house that Todd and his buddies built" she says. (With "borrowed" materials from the Wasilla Sports Center of course!)

Hey I can see Joe's house from her yard!

"I have not decided what I am going to do in 2012."  Lies! She knows EXACTLY what she is going to do in 2012! IF she can find enough brain damaged  people to support her that is!

Did she really just say that if she feels there are not the right kind of candidates in the race SHE will make the sacrifice and run? How many people can there be in the country that believe  Sarah "look a shiny object" Palin has the intelligence, the experience, and let's face it, has the attention span required to do a job that incredibly demanding?

Please say it is only about twelve!

So Mary Hart came ALL the way up here just to ask Sarah those fuzzy non-threatening questions?

Is it possible she is also covering a certain desperate attempt to bring some, let's say "glamour" to butt-boy's failing campaign?

Well if she is she better hurry, because it looks like Miller's ship is sinking fast!

A new poll conducted by Hays Research confirms what we already intuitively know. Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller's candidacy is in big trouble.

The percentage of Alaskans who feel either "somewhat negative" or "very negative" about Miller has skyrocketed in recent weeks to an astronomical 68 percent. Only 8 percent feel "somewhat negative" and the remainder, a jaw-dropping 60 percent, feel "very negative" about Miller as a candidate.

A series of gaffes, inconsistencies, and controversial statements to the press, in addition to the arrest of a journalist by Miller security guards have come one on top of another, causing a trend that can only be described as a campaign death spiral. Miller's hardcore supporters who view him "very favorably" have held in there, showing a decrease of only 3 percent since Oct. 6, but his "somewhat favorable" rating went from 20 percent to 9 percent in that time. Miller's "somewhat unfavorable" rating dipped from 13 percent to 8 percent, underscoring the voter stampede toward "very unfavorable" which skyrocketed from 38 percent to 60 percent in less than three weeks.

Whoo Hoo! Is it possible that Alaskans have FINALLY wised up and decided to stop voting Republican regardless of how fucked up the candidate is, and to start using their brains for a change?  I mean is it finally time for me to be proud of my state for their political integrity?

Can I?  Can I please?

P.S. For those of you who did not check out my Twitter feed, yes I am finally in Washington DC.  And it is AWESOME!! In fact I already met a fellow rally participant.

It's so sickening to see people slobber all over themselves over this uneducated, brain dead hick. Other than the fact that she can spout a lot of hot air and hate speech, what exactly is her appeal? What is her relevance in the real world?

And seriously, after maybe two episodes of this boring ass 'Stupid Sarah Shows What a Jackass She is in Alaska,' is anyone going to be interested? Once all the hype dies down, what will be left?

Someone pegged her right on HP, calling her nothing more than a celebritician. Thankfully we have grownups in the WH, quietly doing the people's business.

Have fun at the Rally G!!!!!

I just hope all of those people jumping off of Miller's boat will jump onto Scott's instead of Lisa's.

As for a Palin 2012 run I think a lot will depend on how many tea baggers get into congress next week. If enough get elected the American public will know for sure by 2012 what a horrid mistake they made and that the tea party's agenda never had anything to do with helping anyone but the wealthy and self serving.

I still don't see Scarah giving up the big money deals, nor do I see her allowing press full access. She can't hide from everyone in a presidential run.

The thing that struck me most about the interview was when Palin tries to say her quitting the Governorship didn't really matter, because the people NOW who disapprove of her are the ones who never voted for her anyway. WRONG! Alaskans who once held her in high esteem (WHY, I'll never understand!) are the ones most disappointed and distrustful of her now.

Palin gave the same canned response to this question that she has been giving for months. She should make a recording and simply press "play", just like she does at her speeches.

I hope if/when she runs that the media destroys her just like what happened to poor ole Joe.

I also am sick and tired to the media slobbering all over Sarah like she is the second coming of Christ. She would have been forgotten by now if the media had not paid her so much friggin attention.

I have heard 3 different discussions today, starting with the Today show, about how Palin could be poised for Presidency under the perfect storm based on the election outcome. For God's sakes why is Matt Lauer or anyone even contemplating anything about that whackjob when we're trying to fend of all the nutbaggers she's help create!

I swear this rise of Palin has probably been in the making since the VP nomination, and whoever is behind it has a master plan well over her head. For her to personally support all the nutbaggers who many are favored to win, once they doe they'll owe her and support her. No one has ever positioned themselves like this before, as much as the sane people in the world can't believe how far this crazy tea party movement has gone.

It is a terrifying future and journalists are predicting how things are going to get uglier and less productive in Washington, and most policies will be stonewalled because everyone will be positioning themselves for 2012.

    OT, but not really--

where does Palin stand on this treatment of a disabled child and family (from Truthman at DKOS:)

Dump your disabled child @ homeless shelter? This is what we have to clean up?
    by TRUTHMAN

Thu Oct 28, 2010 at 11:16:21 AM PDT

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana's budget crunch has become so severe that some state workers have suggested leaving severely disabled people at homeless shelters if they can't be cared for at home, parents and advocates said.
They said workers at Indiana's Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services have told parents that's one option they have when families can no longer care for children at home and haven't received Medicaid waivers that pay for services that support disabled people living independently.
Marcus Barlow, a spokesman for the Family and Social Services Administration, the umbrella agency that includes the bureau, said suggesting homeless shelters is not the agency's policy and workers who did so would be disciplined.
However, Becky Holladay of Battle Ground, Ind., said that's exactly what happened to her when she called to ask about the waiver she's seeking for her 22-year-old son, Cameron Dunn, who has epilepsy, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Holladay, a school nurse, said she and her husband would go bankrupt trying to pay for services themselves, so Cameron spends most days sitting in his stepfather's truck while he works as a municipal employee.
    TRUTHMAN's diary :: ::
WTF? This is what we were left with. 8 years of mismanagement..
2 wars...banks stealing our money....government promoting sending jobs
and tax revenue overseas...corporations not paying 100 billion dollars
    taxes that are legally collectible....
And now the nation wants this mess cleaned up in 18 months?
They're mad because the shit left behind was so big and so
disastrous that it would take years to fix.
And these people are wanting to put people in the U.S. senate
who are against social security...medicare...civil rights?
I'm going to go vomit...and then I'll get back on the phones
    for gotv!

Sarah plans on running in 2012. Of course, she has money, but she is more about power and titles, and being fawned over. I just feel that she will get torn up in the Republican primary (like the battle between Murkowski and Miller right now).

I think Scott has a good chance. The reason there are 13% undecided, is because most of them are trying to decide if they are going to vote for Scott. When they are behind the curtain, its like a "confessional" - they will do what their conscience tells them. People intuitively know that Scott is the ideal candidate, out of the three - a good Alaskan, endorsed by Vic Fisher, one of the founders of the Alaska Constitution.

If Lisa wins, it will be better than Joe Schmoe for the state. (Although I hope we can deliver Scott for the country!) My MAIN concern is the gubernatorial race. I want Berkowicz/Benson to clean up the garbage Palin left behind.

    Hi Gryph,

Here's to hoping you have a rockin' time in the DC. I'm really hoping that the rally will pump up the apathetic progressives to get out and vote again. I would SO LOVE to rattle the right-wing in this country - to show them, once and for all, that they are truly in the minority (no matter how many media outlets they seem to own.).

On another note, can you keep this tidbit on the backburner of your mind?: The fact that, fortunately and unfortunately, the estimated potential of Alaska's energy future is actually WAY below what your politicos have been cheerleading about? Andrew had a good post tonight about it - basically asking the Alaskan powers-that-be (wannabe) - what are the long-range fiscal plans for Alaska now? Given the recent USGS findings, this really skews things in a different light.

And how does this impact Twitler's resume? You know the 'Drill, baby, drill' stuff doesn't really fly now.

Don't get me wrong. I think Alaska has other resources that are valuable - but it is definitely a sobering report from USGS. The North Slope is not the golden goose everyone was betting on.

Just another point for us libtard greenies :) Alternative energies are a key component in the future prosperity of the US.

The Tea Part is so utterly fragmented as to make any agreement on a presidential nominee impossible amongst them. They will get into office and fuck it up for themselves in zero seconds flat.

Palin's nonchalant attitude towards the office is anueploidic to say the least and speaks to her complete disregard for the top job in the land.

You don't run for President because no one else is "available." You do so because you believe that you offer what no other candidate can: a fighting chance for the country's own survival.

America would die with her in office. Period. I cannot think of a single world leader who would take this vapid little c-nt seriously. Who needs terrorists when you've got the likes of Palin and her evangelical thugs shredding the Constitution, inciting a civil war all the way?

There hasn't been one established politician who will say she is qualified, but lots who say she's not. She has lied so much she can't keep up with them all. Every time anyone says anything about her they are lying. Sure hundreds of people of lying and she's innocent. She has stepped on so many people and is so mean and vindictive people will talk. Mary Hart used to have a local television program in Oklahoma about 30 years ago. One of my co-workers in an upscale department store was invited on her show to demonstrate some make-up techniques. When the show ended, Mary Hart took all the make-up and cosmetic tools for herself, several hundreds dollars worth. When my friend told her that the store would take the replacement expense out of her pay check, Hart got nasty with her, and said it was the price for being on her show, even though Hart was the one who invited her and never said anything prior about appropriating all the make-up and tools for herself.

Mary Hart was a grifting bitch then, and she's still a bitch (with a whole lot of plastic surgery from the looks of her). She and the Swag-Hag from Wasilla have much in common.

Do people in the lower 48 realize that Palin is not a hiker, cannot shoot a gun (much less hold it correctly!) and in no way is outdoorsy as she tried to make herself appear in the new reality show of Alaska? She is a liar and a fake as usual and all of us in Alaska know it! There are so many women up here that could outdo her in a second! Someone on the crew of the filming noted it was very obvious she had never been in a kyak before and trust me, they were NOT close to the bears! What bullshit! She does not represent me here in Alaska and I've been here since 1950!

Palin couldn't survive a Primary run for President. Her Republican opponents would dig up so much dirt on her that her reputation would be ruined forever.

She got a pass as a VP candidate but at this point I think a lot of powerful people in the Republican party are just flat out tired of her. They know that red meat dog whistle stump speeches will only get somebody so far and that's all Palin has in her bag of tricks. She has no solutions and there is no way she could interact with foreign leaders through Facebook or Twitter.

Last but not least, would she move to Washington if elected? Or would she stay in Wasilla and charge the Federal Government per diem for living in her house? I'm sure there are a ton of Federal loopholes the Grifter in Chief could benefit from as that seems to be her one true talent.

President Palin, the end of the world may indeed come in 2012 if she's elected.
