Member of Peacemaker's Militia delivers phony legal documents to the court on behalf of Shaeffer Cox, resulting in two misdemeanors for him and two new ones for Cox. Quite the intellectual conclave they have up there in Fairbanks isn't it?

From the Fairbanks Newsminer:

A member of Francis “Schaeffer” Cox’s Peacemaker’s militia was charged with a pair of misdemeanor offenses for delivering fake court documents to court officials, including a purported restraining order demanding that law enforcement officers stay 1,000 feet from Cox.

The papers were delivered in December and January while the district court was preparing to try Cox on a misdemeanor weapons charge.

Kenneth R. Thesing was issued summons on Friday to face two counts of “simulating legal process,” the crime of sending fake court documents with the intent of causing the recipient to take an action.

Many of the documents are signed by Cox and address his belief that he is a sovereign citizen and not subject to the state court. In the documents, Cox refers to a trial held for him at the Fairbanks Denny’s Restaurant by members of his Alaska Assembly Post group.

Each count of simulating legal process is a class A misdemeanor, punishable by a maximum of one year in jail.

Cox also is mentioned in the charging document and faces these two counts, district attorney Michael Gray said.

Thesing has not been implicated in any of the felony offenses Cox and four of his Peacemaker Militia members have been accused of. Cox and the others were arrested March 10 for allegedly plotting to kill and kidnap government authorities.

Filed with the charges are 22 pages of documents allegedly delivered by Thesing. They have also been entered as evidence in the state felony case against Cox.

In the documents Cox refers to himself as the Commander-in-Chief for the delegates of the United State of America as amended to 1791 A.D., the year the U.S. Constitution was ratified.

He uses a number of official-looking symbols including a U.S. Flag with 13 stars, which bears the label 2010 civilian flag of peace and a seal with the words “First Judicial District of Tens, Interior Region, Alaska.”

The restraining order he says Alaska officials have “invaded the Republic, under color of law, with acts of war,” and orders them to keep their distance from Cox.

The last document is a letter to Superior Court Judge Michael McConahy, asking him to present testimony at the Denny’s trial.

Doesn't the Fairbanks Court system get it?

Schaeffer Cox was already tried and found innocent while enjoying the Grand Slam breakfast at the local Denny's restaurant/"sovereign court of the lunatic fringe."

I know what you are thinking, "Well Gryphen that is just crazy."

Really?  Well then perhaps you are unaware that the Denny's restaurant is a sovereign nation unto itself.

Or have you NOT read the Denny's Bill of Rights.

See? Not only are they much easier to understand than our country's Bill of Rights, but they also smell of delicious maple syrup.  And here you thought Schaeffer Cox and his Peacemaker's militia were a bunch of idiots.

Now don't you feel silly?

So they don't believe in government, oh wait, except their "government" is different, special. What a bunch of loons, unfortunately, loons with access to weapons.

W H A T P L A N E T are these moronic fools living on? The thought processes have either always been totally lacking or somehow whatever they MIGHT have had in the way of them has become distorted beyond imagination. Hopefully the jail they go to will have an attached mental hospital!! If these types weren't so dangerous, you would absolutely die laughing your duff off at them.

The trouble with the BS these guys spew is that they actually start to believe it. That's where their problems begin.

It's kind of like saying "I can jump off a 10th story building into a street full of rush hour traffic and come out of it without a scratch because the laws of gravity and physics don't really apply to me. I've ordained myself a a sovereign nation and my law says I can fly."

Well you can say anything you want. Reality sets in when you act on what you say. Results might have you looking for a new leader for your sovereign nation. It's hard for some people to realize that they, themselves are full of shit.

lol. I sure love stupid criminals. My home state of California may be having some serious problems (mostly of our own making), but at least we don't tend to be a preferred destination for nutball militia dudes who apparently didn't get the toy soldiers they asked for on their 7th birthdays. If you guys ever resurrect that old "buy-them-a-boat-ticket-to-Seattle or SF routine, I'm suing you for mental anguish.

Good Lord. No wonder President Obama can't get anything done...the nation has turned into a breeding ground for ignorant, ranting fools. See what happens when you cut health care? The mental wards disappear....and they are needed more than ever.

  23. While my first thought is this guy is going for an insanity plea, but the fact is, he is simply mentally incompetent. He is a bonafide nutcase.

What boggles the mind is how he has functioned this long without being thrown in a mental hospital for evaluation.

What is even more astonishing is that he has supposedly normal people following him and acting on his directions. I mean being a loyal minion is one thing, but being a mindless yes man is something again. These guys were really going to kill on Shaeffer Cox' say so? Really?

Are they just as insane as he is?

Thank goodness we arrest our whackjobs and lock them up instead of electing them Chancellor. (Look it up. Hint: Germany)

Huge OT for this post but:

Fox News is reporting that Sarah will not make any kind of announcement on the Bob and Mark Show on Friday but the content of the article seems very strange.

[[ Don't believe the hype. Sarah Palin, despite rumors to the contrary, won't be making a major announcement about her political future this Friday, sources tell Fox News.

The word comes from the person closest to Palin, her husband, Todd, who set the record straight that rumors she may announce a 2012 presidential run where just that -- rumors. Fox News also spoke with Meg Stapleton, Palin’s former spokeswoman, who says that there would be no major announcement of any kind on Friday. Stapleton has remained in contact with the Palin family and also spoke with Tim Crawford, Palin’s chief fundraiser, about the rumor.

    Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/03/30/palin-rumor-turns-april-fools-joke/#ixzz1I878D2Lp ]]

Since Palin works for FOXNews why not just ask her? Why Todd? And the big ??? why contact Meg Stapleton and not RAM? Stapleton's been out of the loop for quite awhile. Hmmmmm!

Denny's offers some great skillet meals with eggs and meat and hash browns AND toast. After a night at the bar, partaking of Denny's fabulous breakfast menu is one thing.

Having a "kangaroo court" held in a Denny's in honor of sovereign citizen is another. Who know that Denny's was such a hotbed of political activeness, then again, in Anchorage, the Bartlett Club, a Democratic group, hold their meetings at Denny's.

I guess I'll now never look at a Monte Cristo with fries in the same way. Denny's seems to be the place to be for those active in politics, regardless of their affiliation.

these guys are playing their own game of civilization. or more accurately, UNcivilization. I mean really to think that they can just declare themselves as something and "make it so" is so f-ing juvenile. apologies to the captain.

"I am a sovereign" yeah well then stay the hell off the roads, out of the hospitals, off of federal & state owned lands, don't report crimes committed against you to the local police, don't initiate any lawsuits in federal or state court, don't call the fire department when your house catches fire, don't call the police or go to the hospital when you're in a car accident, don't file for workers comp when you're injured on the job, and don't cash your annual oil royalty welfare check because the only reason you get is because of the government. I'm sure I've left something out, but these people are so f-ing stupid to think they can use all of these services and at the same time say that they don't have to abide by the laws that are made by the governments that provide these services.

Sounds like Schaeffer Cox needs to buy his-self and island where he can be sovereign.

Until then, he needs to live under the same rules as the rest of us.

He can spout his nonsense all he wants. Acting on it and threatening Ralph Beistline and his family is rightly a felony, and he needs to be treated like a dangerous man. Fbx is too small for this #$%^&.

LMAO, at the Denny's comment, Gryphen!

At least AK has enacted laws against filing/"serving" the BS documents these kooks make up out of their twisted interpretation of the Constitution. We would get these from sovereigns (or "tax protesters" as they were called in the state where I worked for the US District Court) a lot. They looked all official with their fancy made up court titles and "official" seals. If someone wasn't saavy about the court systems (municipal, state, and federal), then they could easily be duped by these fake documents.

I smell a really bad teevee movie in the works, produced by Sarah Palin, written by RAM, shot entirely in Alaska as long as 1/3 is subsidized by the State because of a law she created.

    James O'Keefe as Cox.
Todd and the couple of buddies will round out the Denny's posse - the same buddies that helped him build his house with the sports complex materials and a fence extension (in less than 24 hours) on Lake Lucille.

  37. When the court systems are dysfunctional people will not trust them. I certainly do not from personal experience and a great deal of research. They do prosecute for retaliation and they do withhold evidence. They do charge defendants with a multitude of rediculous crimes when only one was committed to use as leverage or to manipulate the defendant into a plea. Poor people can't get a defense while those with funds can buy justice. Part of the blame for this is with the court system itself along with prosectors and the lack of funding for public defenders. Rather than charge them with crimes for their pretend documents and procedures it seems that just ignoring them and laughing would send a stronger message. Charging them with crimes for their delusions just fans the flames of paranoia among the followers. Arresting them for not showing up for court gives them a reality check and is a much more legitimate use of the justice system.

  42. I don't think Schaeffer Cox himself is dumb, based on what I've read and listened to. I'm sure he's got some real Neanderthals in his organization, but I think he know exactly what he's doing, which is making a point. Locked up as an oppressed leader of the underdog, proving at every turn how harsh and unfair the fed is, that's what he's doing.

He's a dangerous man, who's gone off the deep end with his power trip, but I woulnd't underestimate his intelligence or his ability to influence.

Sarah has many secrets, it's time the feds finish checking her out. Just cause the lights are out don't necessarily mean no one is at home. I can see Sarah sitting at Bristol's computer with a flashlight trying to read Gryphen's blog to see if her time is up.
