Multimillionaire Mitt Romney blames election loss on lack of funds. Wait, what?

This was Romney's response during an interview with CNN:

Talking about what went wrong, Romney said they didn't get the turnout from minority voters that they needed and he acknowledged his campaign was outmatched by his opponent's massive organization.

"I think he had as many as 10 times the number of ground workers, paid staff, that we had, because he could afford them and we couldn't," he said.

First it was Hurricane Sandy which came along just to help the President look presidential that Romney blamed for his loss, and now it is that he did not have enough money to bribe minorities into voting for him.

Which is it Mitt?

Perhaps the only intelligent thing that Romney has said recently is that he is done running for President.

Gee, really?

And there was the timing of that inconvenient storm, and then there was the video, and then they make fun of us at the Olympics, and then I said things that didn't turn out the way I meant them to sound and then the cat ate my homework.

He's had so much experience losing runs at federal office - doesn't he at least have a recording somewhere of his official post-loss whining that he can hand to the media and save us the trouble of remembering he exists?

    4. 10 times as many workers on the ground is probably right, but I was one of them and I was not paid. Most weren't. The mittster needs to get a hold of reality and understand MORE people wanted Obama as president than wanted him. That's the basic fact. More money, better timing on natural disasters[snark], a more fetching wife, being nicer to the British--none of that would have helped.

This guy never had his own platform, he has been the mouth and face of the uber rich and will continue to do so because the $$$ is right. This message, starting now is all a manupulation to get more $$$ next time around. There is to real truth in his words (never has been), this is all strategy for the next go around. Keep calling him out!

Sure, Mitt. Plus you didn't have a strong endorsement from Grifter Granny Sarah Palin.

That must've cost him 30 or 40 votes, too.

Losers will make mistakes and avoid responsibility all day long before they'll accept that it is their own fault or their own shortcomings that caused them to lose.

Nobody is listening to this crap except his wife and sons. Move on, Mitt. You're just embarrassing yourself even more.

Does he know that many, many of President Obama's workers were VOLUNTEERS? They worked for a man they support, respect amd admire. Seems the only "free" help Mittens had was from rich people like Adelson. Mitt refused to show his tax returns, therebye proving that he was hiding something. Then Queen Ann said "We have shown YOU PEOPLE all we are going to" The remark about Hurricane Sandy shows Mitt in his unguarded moments, no sympathy for people who lost everything. The entire Romney family is out of touch with reality. Too bad (for them) that the fireworks and celebration party had to be cancelled at the last minute. Rove and that Romney son could not "fix" the voting machines!!Romney is a very sore loser. Thank our lucky stars we have a mature, classy MAN in the WH. Not to mention a beautiful, gutsy woman.

The entitled delusion of King Mittens is amazing. He knows he had more money than President Obama---he just shitted his away by handing it out to bad consultants who made hundreds of millions to lie to him. I would just like for this bad excuse for a mannequin to admit he had no ideas, was a blatent liar, really paid no income tax, kept pushing racist shit and would have installed Ann as Queen Egg to laugh at the peasants. Stupid man.

His big selling point was that he was a businessman, and knew how to run things.
Only he couldn't run his own campaign efficiently -- he should have wiped all his primary opponents away with a sweep of his hand. Once he was the nominee, he should have already had a solid organization in place. Heck, if all the Mormons in the country simply gave of their time and money, he'd have been closer in the end.

Instead, five million people chose to vote for our President instead of for this unqualified pretender. Now he blames it on an Act of God (Hurricane Sandy) -- hmm, whose side was God on, Mitt? Not the Mormons. Then on lack of money -- from a man worth almost a half a billion dollars all on his own.
Can't wait for the next excuse to surface. The one that drove five million people into the arms of the Democrats.

      Delete
    2. Anonymous12:12 AM

I meant five million people more than what Romney got. The totals were something like 67 million for our President and 62 for Romney.
That's a whopping big number -- a clear majority for President Obama. A mandate that can't be explained by bad weather or more "paid staffers."
Last time, it was unpaid staffers, Acorn, that were targeted as the evil Democratic plot. This time, an incredibly complex and sophisticated organization of paid and unpaid workers.

And then there were all those millions of people who preferred Obama over the Suit.
Maybe, in the end, Mitt, if you weren't too clever by half, and had released all your tax returns, and didn't act as though you were waiting to be crowned, a few more people might have looked your way. But you just felt you were entitled to the office, and you sent out that message loud and clear. That's not how we do it in a democracy.

Mitt Romney is so full of shit - as he was when running for POTUS! He is a Mormon and all the men lie like crazy. I've been around them for years and am speaking from experience.

All people have to do is research this lie and they'll catch him in it. What is new?

Romney keeps telling one lie after another. His campaign had more money available to it than Pres. Obama's campaign. The problem was that instead of investing in boots on the ground, Romney chose to invest in a host of "analysts" who walked away from his campaign with tons of money. I remember reading about his heavy reliance on "analysts" shortly after he lost the election. Something is wrong with this man. I'm beginning to wonder if he's a psychopath because he lies with a smirk on his face and thinks nothing of it.

I'm one of those who volunteered both campaigns. All I got out of it was meeting a bunch of smart and motivated people and my reward is now in the White House. And watching Romney make an ass of himself over and over again.

I wish that Sarah Palin would get the message. She ran unsuccessfully in 2008. I think that she can take at least 50% of the credit for McCain losing. In her mind, she was the one running against Obama, but, never mind the details. She teased her fans for three plus years and they thought that she would run in 2012. They think that she will run in 2016. Mitt ran for 8 years, he had more money and organization than Palin, and he could speak a little better than she could. And, he lost. Palin will never really run for President, but these candidates and possible candidates just can't let it go. There must be something intoxicating in that spotlight (and the money). Gee, if only Romney had more money.

There wasn't enough money in the coffers to get Mitt the Shitt elected President. That is the one thing he will take to the bank. A rich Fuck didn't have enough money, and wasted a lot of what he spent.

Mitt the Shitt has always had to pay people to do his shitt work. Unless the cult of MORmON told them to do it for Kolob (white horse nonsense and the T-Shirt Bitch from Grosse Pointe Phrophecy). You can bet that he and Angry Ann never did shitt for free for anyone except when there was something in it for them.

So Mitt sucks, his party sucks, his message sucks, and why would anyone volunteer to do anything for Mitt the Shitt and Angry Ann? Even Rush Dimbulb thought Mitt was a shitt! That's how you get outnumbered in the streets of Amerryca on election day. Then too, that message that he thought more than half of Amerryca sucks was not so great for encouraging the Republican "ass roots" to beat on their neighbor's doors to help some rich asshole run for head MORmON. Especially if they already thought the MORmONS were a whack ass cult. That's why the God Squad stayed home.

Mitt the Shitt had to pay everyone to do everything for him and his party of fail. Word also got around that lots of the shitt's friends and family were on the golden Republican Teat courtesy of Mitt the Shitt. That probably cost him some donations. You can bet that some of Mitt the Shitt's paid "ass roots campaigners" did just as little as possible to get paid, and yet they monkey wrenched the shitt out of Mitt's campaign.

Romney's comments about Obama being able to "look" presidential are the give-away. It is all about surface, not substance with this mook.

I notice he didn't mention the spectacular breakdown of his "Orca" get out the vote software plan on election day. He spent all his money on the "big idea" guys at the top, and pocket change on his ground troops and their gear.

He still has no accurate idea about why he lost. Throwing out "Hurricane Sandy" is weak.

I read that Queen Egg will be writing a cookbook to prove how "folksy" she is. Yeah, I bet it will be a big hit .

I feel these public appearances are meant to sooth their wounded pride, and keep alive the Romney brand, in case Tagg wants to run for office. Egg wanted so badly to be the Jackie O of the Republican set, I can totally see her pushing one of her sons to go down that path, so she can finally live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

And this is how he would have run the country, too. Continuing to pay big money to the guys at the top and the rest of us are left with the sops they throw to the rest of us.

Did you see his recently released plan he had for when he was in the White House? Run it just like any other business. He sees managing a nation of people in the same way as he manages his corporations. He has no grasp of life outside of his little bubble. People are all reduced to numbers on a balance sheet for him and his kind. Life is easy and good on the plantation when you are the owner - for everyone else, not so much.

And this guy can't understand why people didn't just flock to him in droves. Yet, still he was convinced he would win the election. He is a multimillionaire whose campaign was back by billionaires and he is convinced he lost the election because they didn't have enough money. This man and his wife are both delusional.
