The search is over. Final details are still being worked out but I’ve learned that actress Rosie Perez and political commentator Nicolle Wallace are expected to take the vacant seats on The View when the ABC daytime talk show returns for a new season September 15.
They would join Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg. Perez and Wallace would succeed co-hosts Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy, who exited last month.
My headline is sort of tongue in cheek but you have to admit that the new lineup of this show has got to work as extra strength Palin repellant.
I mean can you imagine ANY scenario that would have Palin voluntarily sharing the couch with Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell, AND Nicolle Wallace?
Oh hell to the no!
Not only that but Perez is not exactly a huge fan of the conservative point of view either, so all in all it would be an incredibly uncomfortable visit for a woman so prickly that she literally started her own blog where she can choose the questions she answers, and NEVER has to worry about any "gotcha questions," like "what do you read" ever again.

I've seen her do this in several interviews and even though I may not agree with her, she's very well spoken and engaging. I thought she was very likable and enjoyable. Although I didn't agree with everything she had to say, like her praise for George Bush, she was very genuine so I could understand and respect her opinion. If she brings that Nicole Wallace to The View she will be a definite plus for the panel. What was up with the whiteboard markers in SP's hand near the beginning of the video? Looked like she was holding two red ones, then later, a green one and others appeared. DeleteThe baby looks like the same baby early on in the video that a women (not Willow) is holding while sitting at a table. (?) However, the way Willow is holding the baby looks much more natural. Like a way a mother would hold her baby. That phone being used to take the photo is clearly Willow's as it is handed back to her. Why would anyone take a picture with a "celebrity" while holding someone else's baby? I haven't always bought into the theory that there are more illegitimate children in this family beyond the ones they admit to but this has me curious and almost convinced.

O/T - Joan Rivers had been on her deathbed since last weekend and passed away today. Would it have KILLED Brittle to have said some words of support or encouragement during this time? After all, she pretended that she LIKED Joan, and I thought that Joan and her daughter were very kind to Brittle and Tripp.

He personal life was not a bed of roses but she kept on trucking. And the universe appreciates every moment of it's good fortune.
DeleteI thought Joan could be funny but I can't say I was a fan who followed her career. Or agreed with her 100%. She was before my time but I could relate with my elders. I recall some of her husband Edgar and how she handled his death. The best part of Wife Swap was to see Joan with her family. She was an astounding mother and grandmother.
I feel deeply for her beautiful daughter and grandson. She deserves to feel satisfied and so proud of them both. She did good.
