The female writers of the Jimmy Fallon Show (And one special guest.) write thank you notes to Hillary Clinton.

First off I had no idea that Fallon had so many female writers on his show.

Secondly, I am apparently a huge wuss because tears were literally streaming down my face by the end of this.

And third, I will predict that when all is said and done that history will treat Hillary Clinton far, far better than the guy Putin chose to live in our White House.

SNL mocks Kim Davis, and the other terrible people of this last summer. Oh and Hillary Clinton appears in cameo that should not be missed.

Cyrus sang “My Way” as memories from the summer were revisited by the cast. Davis, wasn’t the only one to be mocked, however. Rachel Dolezal was satirized, as well as the dentist who killed Cecil the lion, Jared Fogle, and many more. Pope Francis was also visibly seen trying to distance himself from Davis.

I don't always enjoy the opening monologue, nor Miley Cyrus, but I found myself laughing out loud several times while watching this last night.

But as good as that was you really need to treat yourself to Hillary in a cameo as a bartender serving drinks to Kate McKinnon portraying Hillary Clinton.

That was so good it reminded me of Tina Fey turning Sarah Palin into a national laughingstock.

(I'm sorry that should read "revealing to the world that Sarah Palin was already a national laughingstock.")

Nancy French, pretending to be Bristol Palin, brags about all of the attention that the post she wrote, as Bristol Palin, received from journalists who thought she was Bristol Palin.

"Don't trust you eyes, I'm really Bristol!"

It seems it was a big deal that I poked fun of Miley Cyrus’ interview with Paper Magazine. Apparently, calling out those who claim to be tolerant when they are actually being condescending and contradictory is breaking news. I admit I was pleasantly surprised at how viral my post went! 

But the most hilarious article covering the so-called “Bristol versus Miley” thing was written by the Washington Post’s Jessica Contrera. 

French then goes on to feature a portion of what Contrera wrote for the Post: 

In the pre-Internet days, Palin would have needed to be a guest on a talk show or the subject of an interview for her anti-Miley message to reach anyone… But this is 2015, where celebrities don’t need media middlemen or nudity to start trending on Facebook. Heck, they don’t even need a whole blog post. If Cyrus tweets back a response, it won’t go unwritten about. 

This is America: Palin is entitled to her opinion and Miley is entitled to bare all. 

The rest of us are entitled to… try to avoid hearing all about it. Good luck with that.

Of course Contrera's point was that in this internet age even pseudo celebrities can garner attention without much effort or much risk. Unlike Cyrus who exposed not just her body for Paper magazine, but also honest feelings about things that she knew would create controversy.

To which French gleefully responds with:  

Um… so let’s just get this straight. This writer writes an article lamenting the fact that… other writers are covering the same topic? She apparently thinks it’s absolutely absurd that so many publications are talking about the so-called “Bristol versus Miley” thing that she just had to add join in with her feelings about the “Bristol versus Miley” thing? 

Here’s the real truth. The Washington Post is lamenting that there are no gatekeepers anymore. With the advents of social media and blogs — even the icky “ultra Christians ones” like this Patheos one! — newspapers are no longer the arbiters of the cultural conversation. 

Deal with it, Washington Post!

"Deal with it?" You know French really has this poison Palin pen thing down pat. 

And look how thrilled she is that she was noticed by the Washington Post of all publications. You can almost imagine the breathless e-mails that went back and forth between French and her employer.

And speaking of truth, HERE'S the truth.

That employer is NOT this person....

...which would be bad enough.

It is THIS person....

...which is much, much worse.

And the reason that it is worse is because Sarah Palin has usurped her daughter's identity in order to push her hateful agenda while absolving herself from any direct blame. And by doing so is damaging Bristol's name, before she even has the chance to decide who she wants to be in life.

In other words Sarah is like the bully that grabs your wrists and hits you with your own hands while saying "Why are you hitting yourself, huh, why are you hitting yourself?"

Bristol may not fully understand it yet, but the vicious attacks and hateful words written on "her" blog will follow her the rest of her life, regardless if she wrote them herself or not.

And that brings me to Nancy French, who is, if possible, even MORE pathetic.

Here is a published author joyfully reporting on attention that a blog post she wrote, while posing as the daughter of a has been politician, has received from a publication that would NEVER have even noticed it if it did not have the name "Palin" attached to it.

This is a level of pathetic that almost boggles the mind.

Salon issues an open letter to "the poor slob stuck writing Bristol Palin's crappy Patheos blog."

So the reporter over at Salon, David Ferguson, decided that he had had enough of the charade so he wrote this piece directed right at Bristol's ghostwriter.

First he addressed the blog's most recent attack on Miley Cyrus, which of course we covered here extensively. 

Then Ferguson decided to pull back the curtain and talk directly to the person putting all of Sarah Palin's words into Bristol's mouth:

And here is where I must address you directly, ghost-writer, and tell you that it’s a dead giveaway that you’re not the actual Bristol Palin because you’re writing on at least a sixth grade level. 

“In her cover story for Paper magazine,” you huffed, “Miley Cyrus spoke candidly about her sexuality, her hippie lifestyle, and her politics. While her nude photo shoot has attracted the attention of many, it is her hilarious tirade about tolerance that turned my head.” 

Okay, there are few things I know for certain in this world, but one thing I would lay my last fifty dollars on is that Bristol Palin thinks the word “candid” is how European people spell something that’s been dipped in sugar or maybe that it has something to do with yearbook pictures? But she absolutely doesn’t know how to use it as an adverb. 

She thinks a tirade is that thing that gets the lug nuts off the car wheel when you have a flat tire. Just…really. You could at least try to sound like you’re a high school dropout from Wasilla and not a Liberty University graduate who got fired from their job writing photo captions at Parade for plagiarism. 

What are they paying you? Are you one of the employees at “Aries Petra Consulting” to whom Palin paid $22,000 in 2012 for “Internet messaging?” Or has that generation of harried underlings been “broken, used, stepped on,” and left “down in the dust,” like other previous waves of Palin employees? 

Whoever you are (Nancy French) and whatever you make, it’s not enough. Look. Send me your resume. I will help you find some better job where you get to sign your name to your work and you never have to hear That Voice squawking at you from the other end of your phone. I won’t tell a soul.

Man do I love this!

Now part of the reason I love this is because this is what we have been telling the world ever since we figured out the ghostwriter was Nancy French way back in 2012 when French first launched "Bristol's blog." Remember that?

Ever since then I have referred to the blog as "Brancy's blog" because it has been obvious from the start that Bristol's contribution has been either minimal, or completely nonexistent.

In fact I am willing to bet that if any of you ran into Bristol coming out of a store in Wasilla, or tripped over her crawling to her car from the Mug-shot Saloon, and asked her about her most recent blog post, she would have literally NO idea what in the hell you were talking about.

That is because Bristol's identity has been usurped by her mother who pays Nancy French to type up her own hateful attacks against the President, anti-abortion tirades, and old lady ravings at the press in her daughter's voice.

Which is creepy as shit. 

So I am glad that at least one reporter was actually able to put two and two together and come up with identity theft instead of buying into the myth that the words coming out of Brancy's blog are in fact words that have EVER been spoken by Bristol herself.

And it's about damn time too!

Pop star Miley Cyrus has a rather blunt opinion of religion. And it ruffles a few conservative feathers.

In Miley Cyrus’ super revealing Paper magazine cover story, the actress, who appears nude inside the mag, says she is the least judgmental person ever, yet she has some harsh words for Christian fundamentalists and her parents. 

The magazine’s story on Cyrus notes that though she was raised Christian, the singer “maintains a particular contempt for fundamentalist lawmakers who rally against this sort of progressive, potentially life-saving changes [for the LGBT] community.” 

The pop star told the mag, "Those people [shouldn't] get to make our laws.” 

The article touches on what Cyrus thinks of people who believe Noah’s Ark was a real vessel, "That's f--king insane,” she told the magazine. “We've outgrown that fairy tale, like we've outgrown f--king Santa and the tooth fairy." 

You tell'em Hannah Montana!

Cyrus also identified herself as having a rather fluid attitude about gender and sexuality.  

"I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult -- anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me," she said. "I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl."

Well this is going to make a couple of conservative heads go "pop."

Oops, here is one now, Creationist Ken Ham who wants to know why Miley does not do the dirty with animals.

Question for her: Why not involve an animal? On what basis does she decide that? Besides, if there’s no God and she’s just a result of evolution, then she is merely an animal anyway. And those she interacts with sexually are just animals—so why not any animals? In other words, she has decided to draw a line for some reason—but what reason? It’s actually because in her heart she knows God exists (Romans 1), she knows she is different from the animals as she is made in God’s image (Genesis 1)—and she has a conscience (as seared as it is because of her sinful rebellion) because the law is written on our hearts (Romans 2). 

Question for her: Why only those over the age of 18? On what basis did she decide that? If there’s no God, why have any age restriction? On what basis would she argue against pedophilia? Why not do whatever anyone wants to do?

Why do these fundamentalist types ALWAYS first think about sex with animals or children? Eeew!

Apparently Ham missed the part where Cyrus talked about "consent."

You see it's the same reason you do not have sex with a person who is drunk, or mentally ill, or passed out.

Miley Cyrus may seem to have questionable morals to certain religious people, but at least she knows not to force herself sexually onto a person unable to give their consent.

That is certainly a hell of a lot more than can be said for Josh Duggar.

But wait there's more. Apparently Bristol Palin's ghostwriter has her panties all in a wad over this as well:

Miley later went on to drop lots of profanity as she described her parents’ conservative political views and anyone who might believe Biblical stories like Noah’s Ark are actually true. (Profanity? Do you mean like the profanity found in these police tapes from the Drunken brawl in Anchorage last year?)

Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs? 

She wants everyone else to let her be “free to be Miley,” but seems unwilling to offer the same respect to her parents and those who wish to live out their Christian faith. 

(Actually in the article Cyrus specifically identifies her mother as being very accepting and supportive despite her Christian faith, and "praises her parents throughout the interview." Hardly seems disrespectful.)

Oh, Miley. Thanks for giving us the best example of what “tolerance” looks like in Hollywood: it looks a lot like contempt.

No contempt is what you show by paying a grown woman to make up things to attack somebody you disagree with while posing as a millennial, to make it appear a peer is doing the attacking.

Which seems to be working, as a number of sites are now quoting the post as if Bristol actually wrote the stupid thing.

When will they learn?

P.S. I actually don't listen to Miley Cyrus on the radio, but I did really enjoy this Wrecking Ball song. (Warning video is a little NSFW.)

You know it's actually a pretty good song. Too bad it will always be associated with this rather controversial Miley Cyrus video.

 Did you see Palin? Not often that she is among the least disturbing parts of a video.

Apparently the singer is King the Kid. (Who I have never heard of before.)

Update: The House just passed the Senate budget 285 to 143. The government is now open for business.

This is win the President and a loss for Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, and the forces of darkness.

Update 2:  President Obama has signed the bill.

And that takes care of that. Until the beginning of next year that is.
