I actually think that if you took Ted Nugent's guns away he would simply roll up into the fetal position and die.
That's an experiment that I would like to witness first hand.
You may remember that a couple of days ago Ted "Poopy pants" Nugent attacked the survivors of that school shooting by calling them "mush brains" and "soulless."
Well Ted got a little backlash on social media, and it hurt his tiny little run toting feelings.
TED NUGENT: I was told, coming out of a firestorm, a firestorm of guitar solo magic, that I was trending on Facebook because somehow, some dishonest, lying idiots claimed that my identifying, accurately and honestly, those in the gun control marches who call people who don’t agree with them child murderers -- now if I called you a child murderer without having any evidence, that would be hate speech. So they are guilty of hate speech. I merely identified that you have to have mush for brains to accept, blindly accept, the propaganda from the gun-hating, freedom-hating, America-hating, liberal Democrat left media. And who out there believes that so much of the media – who believes CNN, anybody? MSNBC, anybody? ABC, CBS, NBC? Certainly Media Matters, really? Boy, what a hypocritical title that is. Media Matters, MoveOn.Org, Southern Poverty Law Center, the Huffington punks, who believes these people? So they claimed that it’s hate speech to identify the hate of people that call us child murderers, because we don’t believe in banning guns, which won’t save any lives. So they’re so blinded by their hate, and their mushy brains have so robotically accepted the propaganda ministry’s lies and deceit, that they’re hate isn’t hate. My identifying their hate, is hate. What the hell? So I stand by my words.
So to be clear THIS guy is the victim of hate speech.

Have you ever noticed that the most verbally vicious Ammosexuals out there are also the most likely to cry like a bitch the minute they are confronted with their assholiness?
Appearing on Newsmax’s The Joe Pags Show, the guitarist/conservative commentator let host Joe Pagliarulo know what he thought about the Parkland shooting survivors who have become outspoken gun reform activists. And, umm, yeah.
Describing them as “poor mushy brained children who have been fed lies” and that they’re “committing spiritual suicide” by recommending gun control, Nugent went so far as to label David Hogg and others as lacking a soul.
After Pagliarulo played some clips of Hogg and Emma Gonzalez speaking out against the NRA on CNN, Nugent railed against the media, liberals and the kids.
“The dumbing down of America is manifested in the culture deprivation of our academia that have taught these kids the lies, media that have prodded and encouraged and provided these kids lies,” the ‘Wang Dang Sweet Poontang’ singer exclaimed. “I really feel sorry for them because it’s not only ignorant and dangerously stupid, but it’s soulless.”
He continued, “To attack the good law-abiding families of America when well known predictable murderers commit these horrors is deep in the category of soulless. These poor children, I’m afraid to say this and it hurts me to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they have no soul.”
So it's a little hard to follow the theme here, but I think that what Nugent is trying to say here is that children fighting to protect others from gun violence are soulless.
Because you know, THAT makes all kinds of sense.
You know I think ole "Poopy pants" here dropped an extra load in his drawers after watching of these kids on social media, and is a blind panic that they actually might help to pass laws that will keep him from accessing the military style weapons, flame throwers, and rocket launchers that he needs to help him feel like a REAL man.
I am not sure that is an actual unretouched photo, but I firmly believe one just like it exists somewhere.
Pretty good show last night though it is becoming increasingly obvious that the Trump administration is becoming so ridiculous as to defy any attempts at parody.
All Maher has to do is dictate what is actually happening to his audience and then wait for the shocked gasps and uneasy laughter.
Nugent is a notorious provocateur, one who has attracted some infamous attention for his profane insults and bald-face threats to his political enemies. In June, however, after the shootings of Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise and others at a baseball practice in Virginia, Nugent told a radio station that his wife had convinced him to stop with the “harsh terms” and “I encourage my friends/enemies on the left and in the Democrat and liberal world that we have to be civil to each other.”
He kept his word for most of the show. Much of his carnival-barker-style rhetoric and sloganeering touted freedom, hunting, barbecue and his support for the military. He also assured the crowd several times that like every other show, he was treating this one as “the most important show of my life.”
However, before the salacious “Wang Dang” song, he took an odd swipe at country music: “I was going to play a country song but I still have a (penis) so I can’t do that.” And before “Dog Eat Dog,” he praised the president and then told members of the military he was sorry they’d had to serve eight years under his predecessor, a commander-in-chief who was an “absolute piece of s***. … And if that offends you, you’re a piece of s***.” So much for civility.
So June 18th to just about the end of July. What is that, just a little over a month?

Ahead of the highly anticipated Tuesday special election in Georgia’s 6th District in which Democrat Jon Ossoff is hoping to end Republicans’ stranglehold on the House seat, a fringe conservative group is running an ad tying Ossoff to the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA).
No, really. This is not a joke.
Principled PAC is running an ad called ‘Stop the Violent Left.’ Backed by a small five-figure ad buy, the commercial will run on Fox News Sunday and Monday.
In the 30-second spot, video footage of Scalise being taken away on a stretcher while a narrator claims that the “unhinged left is endorsing and applauding shooting Republicans.”
“When will it stop?” the voiceover continues. “It won’t if Jon Ossoff wins on Tuesday, because the same unhinged leftists cheering last week’s shooting are all backing Jon Ossoff. And if he wins. They win.”
I just saw this for the first time on Morning Joe, and almost could not believe my eyes.
According to Morning Joe this ad has been condemned by both sides in the Georgia race, but it is still running on the local Fox News affiliate.
I have to say that it is amazing the changes that have suddenly come over the Right Wing, those who so forcefully touted "2nd Amendment solutions" not to very long ago, now that one of their own has been shot.
It kind of reminds me of a conservative who suddenly supports gay right after their child comes out of the closet.
Hell even Ted Nugent is suddenly calling for civility and claiming that he has turned over a new leaf:
“At the tender age of 69, my wife has convinced me I just can’t use those harsh terms,” he said on the 77 WABC radio program Thursday. “I cannot and will not and I encourage even my friends, slash, enemies on the left, in the Democrat and liberal world, that we have got to be civil to each other.”
“I'm not going to engage in that kind of hateful rhetoric anymore.”
Yeah, I am not at all sure I am buying that one Captain Poopy Pants.
There is a rather stunning amount of hypocrisy in this ad, and in that statement from Nugent.
After all the violent rhetoric has been a feature of the Right Wing for decades now, so to suddenly act the victim and claim that he it's the Left which is filled with homicidal gun wielding maniacs is laughable on its face.
All one has to do is scan the news to see that aggression toward Muslims, the LGBTQ community, and other minorities continues unabated, and that certainly is NOT being perpetrated by those embracing progressive ideals.
Look I hope that we can move to more civility as well, but part of me is still fairly convinced that once the memory of this shooting fades from memory that Right Wing provocateurs will go right back to using violent imagery and language to push their message.
After all it is deeply ingrained in their damn DNA.
Kathy Griffin has mercilessly attacked children for years.
When this "celebrity" (who "celebrates" her, btw?) traveled all the way to Wasilla and actually knocked on my home's door to personally humiliate my kids again, I knew she was deranged.
(Ah yes, using the children as a shield, how Sarah Palin of her.)
The liberal "star" had attacked my teenage daughters for so long - first Bristol then, inexplicably, giddily announced she would "go directly after Willow Palin" despite Willow's young age and innocence in doing anything to earn the wrath of this attacker.
And today Kathy claims SHE is the victim!
Kathy's crocodile tears at her publicity-seeking press conference today mean nothing to mothers who've witnessed the ramifications her sick acts have had on precious children.
So, on behalf of Melania Trump and other mothers who've tried to protect our children from Kathy's soulless vile attacks, I'll bite my tongue in print and not say what I'd actually tell her to her face... I'll keep it civil and merely tell her after her ridiculous self-serving statements today:

After all we already know that the careless use of violent imagery can lead to catastrophe.

After all this is what Ted Nugent said about a sitting President and his Secretary of State.
"I did not threaten anybody's life," he insisted to the Fox News crew, backing up what he'd said on conservative radio host Ben Ferguson's show on Wednesday, when he noted, "To compare what I said ... we're talking apples and grenades here," per the Hill. The "dead or in jail" quote was simply an expression of his fear of Big Government, he told Fox, while the machine gun statement was an "outrageous metaphor" on gun control. "I did nothing to harm anyone," he said. "[Griffin] came out with symbolism that was truly vile."
You know I don't think that somebody truly understands what the word "metaphor" means.
For her part Palin also made yet another attempt to criticize former President Obama as well.

As you probably noticed I did not post about the Kathy Griffin kerfuffle, because to be honest I did not think there was very much to say.
She was wrong.
As much as most of us might truly dislike Donald Trump, it is simply not okay to threaten the life of a president, or to spread such disgusting imagery.
However as John Fugelsang so artfully illustrates, at least our progressive leaders do not defend this kind of rhetoric.
Ted Nugent was obviously using a figure of speech, unfortunate as it was. It just shows the anger people have towards @BarackObama.

I would not even try to venture a guess.
This Trump presidency is batshit crazy, so Palin could be there to interview for some job with the Trump cabinet, to pee on one of the beds that the Obamas slept in, or to simply get her picture taken in the room that the American voters kept her from accessing on her own.

My takeaway from this commercial is that almost everybody Donald Trump knows is a person who pretends to be a version of themselves on a scripted "reality show."
Which kind of makes me think that his idea of America is some combination of The Biggest Loser, the Jersey Shore, and Duck Dynasty all spliced together to create a country of overweight loudmouths with no talent and little intelligence, with a penchant for gun violence.
Actually that sounds like a lot of places we already have in America.
By the way if you were wondering how Sean Hannity can appear in a commercial for Donald Trump while under contract with Fox News, well he can't:

During a May 21 meeting of members at the NRA's annual meeting in Louisville, KY, NRA election committee chairman Carl T. Rowan announced that Nugent was one of 25 individuals elected to a three-year term on the NRA's board, terminating in 2019. Nugent received the second most votes.
Media Matters then very helpfully lays out some of the "highlights" of Nugent's year so far:
In January, Nugent called for Obama and Hillary Clinton to be hanged for treason for their supposed malfeasance during the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks.
Nugent caused widespread controversy in February after sharing an image on his Facebook page that suggested Jews are behind a conspiracy to enact stricter gun laws. After coming under fire from the Anti-Defamation League and other groups, Nugent further claimed that Jewish supporters of gun safety laws are “Nazis in disguise.” As condemnations continued to roll in, even from far-right pro-gun organizations (but not the NRA), Nugent eventually apologized, claiming he did not realize the image he shared that placed Israeli flags next to faces of 12 Jewish American politicians and gun violence prevention advocates had a "connection whatsoever to any religious affiliation."
In March, Nugent called a critic with a Hispanic name a "beanochimp" and suggested the man should die.
Later that same month, Nugent shared a misogynist chain message about why men supposedly prefer guns over women, which included claims like "guns function normally every day of the month” and “A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.”
On March 31, Nugent posted a racially derogatory image on his Facebook page that he said was an advertisement for a moving company called "2 niggers and a stolen truck."
In a May 10 post to his Facebook page, Nugent shared a fake video that showed Hillary Clinton being graphically shot to death by Bernie Sanders. He added his own comment: “I got your guncontrol right here bitch!”
You know actually I think that some of this might just have been Nugent campaigning for reelection to the board.

Conservative rocker Ted Nugent believes that gun control is a Jewish-led conspiracy.
A meme shared Sunday on Nugent's Facebook page alleges that Jewish leaders, including Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, are behind a concerted effort to confiscate Americans’ guns. The meme showed a small Israeli flag stamped on each individual’s face below the title: “So who is really behind gun control?”
In his caption, Nugent refers to the Jewish politicians as "punks" who "hate freedom."
But hey, hey before you jump all over Ted "Poopy pants" Nugent for being anti-Semitic you should know that he returned to Facebook to clarify what he meant by that post:

Verizon FIOS scrapped Sportsman Channel, home to Amazing America with Sarah Palin, and Outdoor Channel, which runs Ted Nugent’s show. Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, LLC (“KSE”) owns both networks.
While Verizon cries low viewership, Nugent isn’t buying it.
While appearing on Mama Grizzly Radio, Nugent pulled no punches. “Political correctness is choking the life out of the freedom in this country,” said the legendary rocker. “You’ve got a bunch of punks on the other side of the world that think that somehow in between barbecues the animals have rights—which is so absurd that Alfred E. Newman wouldn’t include it in the next issue of Mad aagazine because he’d be too busy flying over the cuckoo’s nest.”
Nugent went on to speak about Verizon and why they’re really taking away these channels rich in American tradition. “Anybody that’s against hunting, fishing and trapping, the Second Amendment, and self defense—you really have to be from some planet other than Earth,” said Nugent.
The Motor City Madman points to the “soullessness of those on the Left that are against truth, nature, God’s creation, and the perfection of tooth, fang, and claw that produces back straps to feed America and the world. It really is Planet of the Apes stuff when you’re against this kind of perfection.”
Well first off the fact that Nugent went on Mama Grizzly Radio to vent his frustration is hysterical all on its own, but the fact that he believes one cannot be a good American without murdering every animal that comes within a hundred yards of them is laugh out loud funny as well.
Of course the reason that Verizon dropped the two channels, which are both part of the Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks, was due to low ratings.
However Ted "Poopy pants" Nugent isn't having it. “It’s a lie,” Nugent said. “It’s a political correct escape mechanism. Verizon is infested with anti-hunters, animal rights freaks, anti-gunners, people that don’t believe in self defense.”
Wow, I see that Nugent continues to barely cling to his sanity.
