In order to dispel rumors that Mitt Romney is "too stiff." his wife suggests that "we better unzip him and let the real MItt Romney out." Wait, what?

"What can I say? He's still nice to look at."

Ann Romney’s remarks came during an interview with Baltimore radio station WBAL, during which the host asked her, “And one of the things, Ann Romney, that folks talk about with your husband, Mitt Romney, and I’ve seen him in casual conversation-He comes off very smooth and okay. But sometimes he comes off stiff. Do you have to fight back some criticism, like ‘My husband isn’t stiff, OK?’” 

Laughing, Ann Romney responded, “Well, you know, I guess we better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out because he is not!”

I wasn't sure that this quote was accurate at first, but I have just heard the audio, and yep THAT'S what she said all right.

Wow, I don't know who I feel sorrier for, Mitt and his inability to maintain an adequate amount of rigidity, or Ann who is clearly troubled enough to have this on the forefront of her mind even during an interview about politics.

You know perhaps we should feel the most sorry for ourselves after having this unfortunate mental image implanted in our brain.
