One employee of 21st Century Fox details a company presentation and expresses shock at seeing the president's infamous Billy Bush conversation: "There was an audible gasp in the room, like, 'Can you believe this is happening?'”

For the past few months, 21st Century Fox has been using the infamous Donald Trump Access Hollywood tape during company seminars to give Fox staffers an example of bad behavior in the workplace — a fact that became especially awkward this week as President Trump defended one of Fox's biggest stars, Bill O'Reilly, who is facing his own harassment scandal. 

The seminars — a series of routine workshops at multiple divisions at Fox, the most recent one taking place Tuesday on the studio lot in Los Angeles — are led by a human resources executive with a focus on preventing harassment, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. One attendee, who wishes to remain anonymous, tells The Hollywood Reporter that toward the end of the 1-hour seminar Tuesday, a photo appeared on the big-screen (seminars are presented inside a movie theater on the lot) featuring Trump, Billy Bush and actress Arianne Zucker from the 2005 Access Hollywood tape. Just before meeting Zucker, Trump bragged to Bush about grabbing women "by the pussy" and, in reference to Zucker, said, “I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them.”

The employees were then informed that this was a form of sexual harassment (Which they should have been able to figure out for themselves but then again they ARE employees of Fox.), and instructed to report anything like that to their supervisors or human resources.

Gee I wonder if Bill O'Reilly has taken this class?

Probably not. Though after he gets fired for being a giant perv, perhaps they will use his case to teach the NEXT sexual harassment classes.

The ratings for Donald Trump's pre-Superbowl interview are much lower than President Obama's.

President Donald Trump sat down on Sunday afternoon with Fox News for the president’s now-customary pre-Super Bowl interview. The segment with “O’Reilly Factor” host Bill O’Reilly, which aired during Fox Broadcasting’s pre-game coverage around 4 p.m., drew an average audience of 12.2 million viewers.

President Obama’s first pre-Super Bowl interview, with NBC’s Matt Lauer in 2009, brought in an average audience of 21.9 million viewers in Nielsen’s final accounting. The half-hour of 2011’s Super Bowl pre-game coverage — which included O’Reilly’s highly anticipated interview with Obama — attracted an average audience of 17.3 million. In 2016, Obama’s interview drew 14.9 million; in 2015, 16.4 million; in 2014, 18 million. 

The Trump-O’Reilly interview drew a 7.8 household rating in Nielsen’s metered market overnight ratings. President Obama’s last three sit-downs before the Super Bowl drew overnight household ratings of 9.2, 10.2, and 11.5; his first, a 9.6.

Yeah I know, who cares about rating? After all those are not necessarily a good indication of a president's power or popularity.

Maybe, but I know somebody who would disagree with that.

In his world ratings are EVERYTHING.

And you know that repeatedly losing out to President Obama is driving him even further out of his mind.

Fox has given a script commitment plus penalty to a half-hour single-camera comedy starring comedian Trae Crowder, best known for his stage persona the Liberal Redneck. Inspired by Crowder’s life, the untitled project hails from Warner Bros. TV and Rob Thomas’ studio-based Spondoolie Productions.

The comedy will be written by Crowder and John Enbom, who co-created the cult Starz comedy series Party Down with Thomas, Dan Etheridge and Paul Rudd. In the Fox show, worlds collide when Trae, based on Crowder’s Liberal Redneck character, returns to his conservative Tennessee hometown to start a job at an energy research facility with his California-born wife in tow.

Before you all freak out that this is on Fox, remember that Fox Broadcasting has very little in common with Fox News, and that they are the home of Glee and The Simpsons.

Having said that I am not sure how the show will do because not all sitcoms based around a comedian's stage act workout as well as Seinfeld.

For instance, I find "The King of Queens" and "Everybody Hates Chris" completely unwatchable, and though I loved John Mulaney on stage when they canceled his short-lived TV career  it seemed like a mercy killing.

Personally was hoping that Crowder would find a spot on Comedy Central as I thought that station could use a little of his redneck sensibilities.

In fact, he could have been a great addition to the Daily Show as one of their correspondents.

Well, I will withhold judgment until I see the show.

I certainly think that Crowder has the talent, so all he needs is the proper vehicle.

The Simpsons take on Donald Trump.

While Fox News has been rallying behind Donald Trump, Fox’s The Simpsons was not as generous, releasing a short skit online getting inside the Republican presidential candidate’s head — or rather, his scalp. 

“Trumptastic Adventure” opens with Homer being recruited as one of Trump’s campaign extras with the promise of $50 for his services. 

Unfortunately for him, he gets too close for comfort to Trump’s famous hair, only for it to end up showing him more about the candidate than anyone has gotten to see. 

“It’s so wispy — it’s a gravity-defying combover,” Homer muses. “I can’t believe that this was once on his ass.”

One of the things I love about the Simpsons is that they are always sticking it to Fox News, and their conservative icons.

In other news guess which show drew the largest global audience EVER for National Geographic.

“Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey,” which premiered this spring on Fox and National Geographic Channel and received an unprecedented rollout in 180 countries, has become the most-watched series ever for National Geographic Channel International. 

A whopping 135 million people — including 45 million in the U.S. — watched at least some of the 13-part science series, National Geographic Channel announced today. Overall, it aired on all 90 National Geographic Channels as well as 120 Fox-branded channels in 125 countries, making this the largest global launch ever for a television series. 

Its March 3 premiere Stateside attracted roughly 8.5 million viewers across 10 channels. In addition to the Fox broadcast network and National Geographic Channel, “Cosmos” aired on cablers FX, FXX, FXM, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo and FOX Life.

All I can say is that I hope this inspires other networks to create science programs of their own and put them on prime time, because I really think this country could really benefit from well done educational programs like "Cosmos."

Hey, and maybe Fox could stop focusing on making the country dumber through their Fox News channel, and instead focus on making more programs which make us all smarter.

Fox crumbles under pressure from their Republican masters and cancels plans to produce Hillary miniseries for NBC.

Am I really that terrifying?

The same day the Republican National Committee agreed to a resolution that barred the party from participating in debates with NBC and CNN, Fox Television Studios reportedly has canceled plans to produce a miniseries centered on Hillary Clinton for NBC. 

The Hollywood Reporter reported Friday that Fox will not produce the miniseries, which will star Diane Lane. The planned miniseries has caused something of a revolt among members of the NBC News staff, as anchor Chuck Todd predicted it would be a "total nightmare." 

The RNC immediately jumped on the news here as a sign that NBC should cancel the production of the miniseries. 

“We’ve said from the beginning that what matters is who is airing the production promoting Hillary Clinton ahead of a 2016 presidential campaign," RNC spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski said in a statement. 

"Between NBC reporters vocally opposing the miniseries and now the production studio pulling its product, it’s clear NBC’s talking points are falling apart and they should cancel their Hillary Clinton production." 

 I could not be less shocked by this news. 

I certainly hope that NBC sticks to their plans and broadcasts that Hilary miniseries. I mean let's face it we KNOW it is going to attract more viewers than broadcasting the RNC version of "Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest."

Besides who in their right mind thinks that anybody's mind will be changed by watching a Hillary Clinton miniseries? Her detractos will focus on the negative, her supporters will focus on the positive, and the undecided will be watching reruns of Wheel of Fortune.

In other words NOBODY is really going to have their opinion, or desire to vote, changed by a miniseries or documentary.

That is not to say that all of this has not been informative, it has.

And what it has informed me of is the fact that we may as well do an early preemptive inauguration of Hillary right now. Because according to the Republican party, she is essentially unbeatable.

By the way, referring to that earlier Sarah Palin post, it looks like we have found a whole party full of pussies.

RNC goes all in as they use perception that Hillary is getting preferential treatment from NBC and CNN due to possible biopics to attempt to raise money. Oh, and they add a little Benghazi to spice it up.

The Republican National Committee on Sunday released an ad online attacking CNN and NBC for alleged media bias over their decision to produce documentaries about Hillary Clinton, a potential 2016 presidential contender. 

The RNC has threatened to end its partnership with the two networks in the hosting of 2016 GOP primary debates if they don't cancel plans for the Clinton documentaries. 

The ad includes footage from Clinton's testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the September 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, with a subtitle that reads, "Here's one clip they might 'forget' to show you." The footage covers Clinton's heated exchange with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) as the then-secretary of state was questioned about the attack on a U.S. facility that resulted in the death of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens. 

The RNC urges viewers to "Stop Media Bias" by signing its petition to "drop planned programming promoting Hillary Clinton."

Interestingly  enough the ad says NOTHING about the fact that Fox Television Studios has signed on to produce NBC's miniseries.

When asked about that this weekend Wretched Proboscis had this to say:  

“The big question for me, Candy, is, No. 1 , which company is putting it on the air, who’s doing the work. I’m not interested if they’re using the same caterer, or whether they all drink Diet Coke. I’m not boycotting Diane Lane,” Priebus said. “I’m going to boycott the company that puts the miniseries and the documentaries on the air for the American people to view.” 

CNN host Candy Crowley said she was talking about the people producing the series, but Priebus dismissed the report. 

“Some researcher at CNN or NBC worked for a few days to find some little connection somewhere down the road to bring something into this debate. I think it’s totally ridiculous and stupid,” Priebus said. “The fact is, what channel am I going to tune into to see the documentary and miniseries?” 

Damn look at this little shit contort himself to get out of answering that question honestly.

Hell no wonder these idiots in the GOP can shove heir heads up their own ass so easily and often.

Okay now can we all dispense with the idea that Hillary is not running?

Somehow I don't think the RNC would get this worked up if they believed for an instant that she weren't.

Fox TV Studios May Be Producing NBC’s Hillary Clinton Miniseries. Right Wing outrage in 3..2..never.

Remember how the Republican National Committee threatened NBC and CNN to call off their planned Hillary Clinton projects lest they not get any of the Republican primary debates in 2016? Well, if the RNC is serious about taking a stand, the party may end up limiting its debates to other networks, but mainly Fox News. There’s just one teensy, tiny, little problem: 

Fox Television Studios may be producing NBC’s Hillary miniseries. 

The New York Times broke the news late Friday, which will almost assuredly not be followed by threats to boycott debates on Fox. 

Leslie Oren, a spokesman for FTVS, as the studio is known, confirmed that NBC is in “the early stages” of discussions to bring the Fox unit in as the production company on the as yet unnamed mini-series, which will star Diane Lane as Mrs. Clinton. 

“There is no deal yet,” Ms. Oren said. But should a deal be completed, FTVS would become the distributor of the film internationally. FTVS is the production arm of 21st Century Fox’s entertainment group. 

Naturally, the argument here would be, “Fox News and Fox Entertainment are two completely different things! Don’t judge one for what the other is doing!”

Oh yeah, and that worked so well for NBC when THEY tried it. 

So it should be VERY entertaining to hear how "Rinse once and Prebus" responds to this little nugget of information. Don't you agree?
