Both Bretibart news and James O'Keefe believed Roy Moore's accusers, and yet they attacked them anyway in the name of politics.

Courtesy of CNN Money:

Though Marlow concedes that Breitbart made coverage decisions around protecting Trump, before the sexual misconduct allegations against Moore, Breitbart had been hammering the news media and Hollywood for supposedly protecting individuals like Harvey Weinstein. Asked about the view from critics that Breitbart had done exactly that with Moore, Marlow claimed the website has been "much more careful" than other outlets when covering ongoing allegations of sexual harassment and assault, saying the website looks for "certain factors," such as "a certain level of detail" in allegations.

Marlow also stressed that he was personally uncomfortable with the behavior attributed by The Post to Moore, and noted that he did believe the accusations from Leigh Corfman, who said Moore assaulted her while she was 14 -- they were "not perfect," he said, but had "a lot of credibility." He also noted that he, and much of the Breitbart audience, initially supported Mo Brooks in the Republican primary, and only shifted support to Moore because of his opposition to Strange as the establishment candidate. But he said he saw political motivations behind The Post's reporting on Moore and wanted to home in on the "coverage of the coverage."

So the editor-in-chief of Breitbart actually believed at least one of Moore's accusers, but because the Washington Post was accurately reporting on the allegations, and it hurt the conservative candidate, he thought it was appropriate to attack their credibility?

Now does somebody justify that while arguing that they should be taken seriously as a news outlet?

And it should come as no surprise to any of you that James O'Keefe, who you may remember had a woman pretend to be one of Roy Moore's victims in order to discredit the Washington Post reporting,  had essentially the same attitude.
Courtesy of Mediaite:

After initially dodging questions regarding the credibility of the at least nine women who have accused Moore of sexual misconduct and predatory behavior, O’Keefe admitted to believing these claims during a sit-down interview with Mediaite.

“Yes [I believe them], but it’s not my subject matter,” said O’Keefe. “That’s not what my investigation was about. It wasn’t about the victims, it was about the bias in the media.”

Just let the irony that these two outlets justify these tactics because they are convinced that the MSM reports "fake news" sink in a little.

Do you feel that wave of nausea?

I inoculated myself against it by purchasing subscriptions to both the Washington Post and then New York Times.

We need to support factual reporting at every opportunity.

That is the only way we get our country back.

So the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas gave James O'Keefe an award. I didn't know they gave awards for being a douchebag.

Courtesy of The Hill:

James O'Keefe, the conservative activist who attempted to plant a false story in The Washington Post this month about GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore, was presented Wednesday with an Impact Award, handed to him by Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

O'Keefe accepted the award on behalf of his organization, Project Veritas, at an event hosted by the conservative group United for Purpose at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C..

"Proud to receive the Impact award from Ginni Thomas on behalf of the @project_veritas team," O'Keefe wrote on Instagram, before praising other 2017 award recipients such as Fox New host Sean Hannity and Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton as "fighters."

Thomas is a tea party activist and president of Liberty Consulting.

I have no idea what they are rewarding O'Keefe for doing, since most of his childish stings only reveal that he is a rank amateur and embarrassment to the conservative movement.

His last "expose" blew up in his face so spectacularly they he ended up reinforcing the integrate of his target and exposing one of his pathetic little operatives to ridicule.

And by the way how is it okay for the wife of a sitting Supreme Court Justice to participate in this kind of partisan bomb throwing?

James O'Keefe attempts to undermine reporting by Washington Post by sending in an operative who lied about having underage sex with Roy Moore and becoming pregnant by him.

Man that is some cringe worthy video right there.

Here's the story courtesy of the Washington Post:

A woman who falsely claimed to The Washington Post that Roy Moore, the Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Alabama, impregnated her as a teenager appears to work with an organization that uses deceptive tactics to secretly record conversations in an effort to embarrass its targets.

In a series of interviews over two weeks, the woman shared a dramatic story about an alleged sexual relationship with Moore in 1992 that led to an abortion when she was 15. During the interviews, she repeatedly pressed Post reporters to give their opinions on the effects that her claims could have on Moore’s candidacy if she went public.

The Post did not publish an article based on her unsubstantiated account. When Post reporters confronted her with inconsistencies in her story and an Internet posting that raised doubts about her motivations, she insisted that she was not working with any organization that targets journalists.

But on Monday morning, Post reporters saw her walking into the New York offices of Project Veritas, an organization that targets the mainstream news media and left-leaning groups. The organization sets up undercover “stings” that involve using false cover stories and covert video recordings meant to expose what the group says is media bias.

James O’Keefe, the Project Veritas founder who was convicted of a misdemeanor in 2010 for using a fake identity to enter a federal building during a previous sting, declined to answer questions about the woman outside the organization’s offices on Monday morning shortly after the woman walked inside.

“I am not doing an interview right now, so I’m not going to say a word,” O’Keefe said.

O'Keefe later posted a heavily edited video of that brief conversation with the Post reporter, which made him look like the hero, but WaPo then released the entire thing, which did not.

So to be clear about what happened here that sniveling POS James O'Keefe hired somebody to pretend to be an actual victim of sexual assault, so that he could attack the actual victims of Roy Moore, and  undermine the journalistic integrity of the mainstream media.

That is a level of fucked up that is almost impossible to comprehend.

Former NATO Ambassador finds it "dismaying and objectionable" that Donald Trump "continues to deny the undeniable" when it comes to the Russian cyber attack.

Oh I like him!

This was testimony provided today during a hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee during a hearing focused mainly on Russian interference with elections in Europe.

In other Russian interference news today we learned that the Intelligence Committee has struck a deal to their hands on those Comey memos.

And what has Donald Trump been doing while all of this is going on?

Well he is going on his Instagram page to share those heavily edited videos which claim that a CNN producer admitted that CNN's Russian investigation is a witch hunt.

A post shared by President Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) on

A post shared by President Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) on
It should be pointed out that these videos have not been vetted by other news outlets, and that this Project Veritas is the work of James O'Keefe who famously used deceptively edited videos to attack ACORN, which resulted in their closure.

Here is how the Washington Post reported on the videos:

The latest video was apparently shot earlier this month using a hidden camera by a man having a private conversation with Bonfield, who is not involved in political coverage, catching him making several off-the-cuff remarks.

Yet the video includes several journalistic evasions and shortcuts that would likely elicit outrage from critics if a mainstream news organization had employed the same techniques.

For example, it never mentions that Bonifield is a producer of health and medical stories, raising questions about how relevant his views are, and how informed he is, about CNN’s political coverage. It also doesn’t disclose that he is based in Atlanta — not in Washington or New York, where most of CNN’s coverage of national affairs and politics are produced.

Instead, the video identifies him a “supervising producer,” suggesting a senior decision-making role. O’Keefe, who appears on the video as a kind of master of ceremonies, furthers this impression by saying the footage describes “the real motivation behind our dominant media organizations.”

But CNN said Bonifield speaks only for himself. In a statement, it said stood by him and that “diversity of personal opinion is what makes CNN strong. We welcome it and embrace it.”

The network said it had no plans to take any disciplinary action. The video also doesn’t identify the man to whom Bonifield is speaking, nor does it provide any clue about how he came to record Bonifield.

So in other words this is a CNN employee, who does not work nor have any real knowledge of the Russia investigation, sharing his personal opinion on what is very likely a heavily edited video created by an organization famous for misrepresenting the truth.

RT of course reported this as one of their top stories.

The takeaway from all of this is that while numerous investigations into Russian interference continue forward, the man who is supposed to be keeping this country safe from such attacks, is doing nothing to project us from the next one, and is instead sharing what is most probably fake news in an attempt to shut down at least one of the journalistic investigations.

Can you say "Acting guilty?"

By the way, according to Mother Jones we already have plenty of evidence that Trump is guilty of aiding Putin's attack on America.

James O'Keefe, that fake pimp from those Acorn videos, tries to entrap Hillary Clinton. Ha!

Trying to trick my campaign? I don't think this punk knows who he's dealing with.
Courtesy of Time:

Hillary Clinton’s campaign offices around the country have been put on alert after at least two women approached Iowa staff under the guise of being supporters in an apparent effort to catch the campaign engaging in improper or illegal activity, a Clinton campaign official said.

The motivations of the women is not known, but their alleged techniques match those of Project Veritas, the conservative group run by James O’Keefe, which specializes in undercover stings meant to embarrass liberal groups and politicians. The group declined to comment on the Clinton campaign’s allegations. “Project Veritas does not comment on investigations, real or imagined,” said Daniel Pollack, the director of communications for the group.

A Clinton campaign official alleges that the women engaged in several efforts to entrap supporters. In one scheme, described by Clinton staff, a woman attempted to pass a cash donation to Clinton volunteers and interns. In another, a woman approached the campaign on Aug. 19 and said both her parents had donated to Clinton the legal maximum of $2700 each and wanted to funnel an additional donation through their daughter, a violation of federal law. On Aug. 13, a woman claiming to be Canadian approached another Clinton fellow to ask how to falsify an address for a campaign donation.

In another instance, a woman volunteering with the Clinton campaign on voter registration efforts in Iowa City returned to the campaign’s office in Des Moines and asked whether it was okay that she refuse to register people who don’t support Clinton, the campaign official said. The Clinton campaign maintains that its policy is to register all voters, regardless of their preference in candidates.

Sounds like this went as well as the time O'Keefe tried to get that CNN reporter onto his "sex boat."

Of course considering how well those fake Planned Parenthood videos are working, I imagine that there are all sorts of conservative operatives out there trying to get their fifteen minutes of infamy.

And what better target for a conservative hack trying to make a name for themselves than Hillary Clinton?

Sarah Palin promotes a guy, who promotes a warrior mindset among conservative politicians. You know because that's such a good idea.

Courtesy of Rifle Barrel Stroking Barbie's Facebook page:

Doug Giles is a go-to guy for inspiration, friends. I shouted him out again last night in a pro-Second Amendment speech that included excerpts from his pro-hunting book, “Rise, Eat, Kill.” He’s the proud dad of amazing young patriots, including Hannah Giles who courageously helped take down ACORN with her undercover videos revealing the liberals' appalling corruption that is ruining our nation. I love how Doug pulls no punches! Here he warns that we'd better oust our wussified leaders who won't fight to the death to ensure our freedom and support mighty warriors willing and able to do so.

Hannah Giles, now why does that name sound so familiar?

Oh yeah she's the young, impressionable girl who James O'Keefe talked into dressing alike a prostitute so that he could produce his heavily edited attack piece against ACORN.

Giles was later successfully sued by an ACORN employee, and had to pay $50,000, for invasion of the man's privacy.

So of course Sarah Palin would admire her.

As for her father this is what he says in the Town Hall article that Palin links to:

I’ve been reading Steven Pressfield’s musings on warriors and warfare and this quote struck me like Ike Turner punching Tina when she fell flat while singing, “Rolling On The River”. Check it out.

“The Spartans do not ask how many are the enemy but where are they.” - Plutarch, Sayings Of The Spartans

And that, my friend, is one of the big differences between a warrior and a wuss.

....

Politically speaking, I wish those who “represent us on the Right” would take this warrior mindset to heart versus rolling up in the fetal position and wetting their massive Republican diaper once they’re faced with the teeth of the liberal beast. The Left zealously sports this “die or be killed” attitude as they approach our culture wars, whereas those on the Right are mostly/merely butt-smoochin’ wind-testers, more vexed about whether or not they can keep their condo in D.C., their smidgen of faux power and their mistress, versus upholding our constitutional principles which have made us, heretofore, the most stonkin’ nation known to mankind.

Now I know what you are thinking, "Gryphen you clearly made that up to make this guy look like some illiterate cretinous dipshit. Nobody could be this simple minded, and inarticulate, and still manage to get an article published online."

Wrong. In fact this guy is a rather popular columnist with several conservative outlets.  (Besides I don't even know what "stonkin" means.)

The guy goes on to insist that Right Wing politicians need to attack every problem as if they are Leonidas going up against the Persians.

Perhaps he did not watch the movie and realize how that worked out for the Spartan king.

A rabid Right Wing provocateur, with not understanding of how government works or the tools required for a successful leader.

Yep sounds like just the kind of guy that Palin would identify with.

I think we discovered Sarah Palin's role model.

This was a picture posted yesterday on Palin's Facebook page.

If it seems familiar, then you may be thinking of this one of Andrew Breitbart's favorite fake pimp James O'Keefe.

Personally I think that Hanna Giles leather top is far more fetching than Todd's pink disco shirt, but then again I'm not in the market for whatever Todd and Sarah might be selling.

Maybe this is part of the dress code that Palin has to adopt now that they are the only Right Wing group willing to publish her venomous word salad diatribes.

Perhaps Palin needs to be more careful as to whom she models her look after, since things did not work out so well for O'Keefe.

Fake pimp, and even more fake journalist, James O'Keefe agrees to pay $100,000 in damages to ex-ACORN employee. Update!

Today is just getting started but something pretty damn impressive is going to need to happen for this NOT to be the best news of the day.

O'Keefe. one of Andrew Breitbart's "best and brightest," has settled with ex-ACORN  employee Juan Carlos Vera, for a whopping $100,000.

This courtesy of Wonkette:

According to the final 5-page agreement, signed by O’Keefe and his legal counsel Mike Madigan this past Tuesday, the boy detective now publicly “regrets any pain suffered by Mr. Vera or his family.” O’Keefe and his counsel have also consented to fork over the $100,000 within 30 business days of the settlement agreement’s being signed.

ACORN was a community organizing group that became the locus of phantasmically baroque conspiracy theorizing in the build-up to the 2008 presidential election, first by the usual sad idiots, but inevitably by the seemingly rational journalists who must cover the sad idiots to pay their mortgages. ACORN attracted this negative attention, in part, because of its large and effective voter registration drives, which enfranchised record numbers of minority and low-income voters, who are demographically likely to vote for Democratic Party candidates.

In 2009, two twenty-something conservative activists, James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles, hoped to expose criminal malfeasance at ACORN by filming Vera without his consent, themselves violating section 632 of the California penal code in the process. Vera sued both parties over this and the wild misrepresentation of his activities in the edited version of the undercover video, posted online. (Giles settled with Vera and his attorneys this summer.) The episode is a quintessential example of a wholly original term, which we have just coined: journalistic malpractice.

As many of you probably remember O'Keefe and Giles were paraded around the set of various Fox "news" shows in full pimp and ho regalia, where they completely misrepresented their footage and how they were attired while gathering it.

However it was enough to fool various, more serious, news outlets into covering it and giving them the benefit of the doubt, (Including comedian Jon Stewart, who should have known better.), and this fired up the Republicans who went after ACORN like Rand Paul chasing a conspiracy theory, and eventually the Senate defunded ACORN after which it simply withered away.

The funny part of this, if there is anything funny about it, is that the conservatives believed to their core that the reason Obama won the 2008 election was due to devious practices by ACORN and other Democratic organizations. I think they really believed that with ACORN gone that the President would lose his bid for reelection.

How did that work out for them?

Update: POS can't admit that he did wrong.

O'Keefe's response courtesy of TPM:

Sadly, this is the cost of exposing the truth. That’s why so few people do it. There are liability issues inherent in undercover journalism. But let me be clear, this lawsuit had nothing to do with editing or misrepresentation. It was an action under the California Invasion of Privacy Act. The anti-recording statute under which the suit was brought is unconstitutional, overbroad, and gives the police and other public officials too much power.

As President of Project Veritas and undertaking 5 current investigations, my time and resources are better served in working toward our mission of exposing waste, fraud, and abuse then defending myself against lies. I will not be deterred from investigating and exposing corruption. Now more than ever, America is in need of a more ethical and transparent society.

But do you know what? It does not even matter that this douchebag can't man up and admit that he lied about his footage, and misrepresented himself on television and talk radio programs all over the country. The only thing that matters is that the little bitch was forced to pay up, or risk getting sued for millions. That means the case was good, and he was about to lose.

And he can squeal til his balls finally drop into place but that's the truth and he knows it.

Palin to rally army of Right Wing bloggers. Oh, this can't be a good thing!

Courtesy of Fox Nation:

The conservative blogosphere has yet to move past the death of patron saint Andrew Breitbart, but it will get a major jolt this month from an equally provocative hero: Sarah Palin.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee has committed to delivering the keynote address at Right Online, the annual gathering of conservative bloggers and online activists organized by the Koch-backed non-profit group Americans for Prosperity Foundation.

The June 15-16 conference will be the first time the event is held on a different weekend and in a different city from the liberal online activism conference upon which it was based, Netroots Nation.

And that’s no mere coincidence, say Right Online organizers.

This year’s meeting is focused on higher-level tactics and strategies than past year’s editions of Right Online, which sometimes had the feel of a crash course on blogging 101. The Vegas conference features training on video exposes to be conducted by guerrilla video journalist James O’Keefe, a session on polling featuring conservative’s favorite pollster Scott Rasmussen and a session moderated by columnist Michelle Malkin entitled “How to Use Facebook & Twitter to Win,” which will include instruction on using social media to drive narratives.

It’s an area in which Palin can rightly be considered a pioneer, having mastered a high-impact, communication style that almost completely circumvents a traditional media from which she’s sometimes gotten rough treatment.

You know much of the reason that Palin is now considered an internet pioneer is related to her frustration over the information that was gathered and dispensed online by the Alaska bloggers.

Palin became obsessed with us, and in response brought Rebecca "RAM" Mansour up here for her "audience with the Queen," so that she could utilize C4P to fight back against the uncomfortable truths that were being revealed on a daily basis.

Of course even then she could never manage to actually work the internet without somebody ghostwriting her Facebook posts and online articles for her.

Palin has not so much "mastered" the online communication, as hidden herself behind it in order to shape a mythology about herself that her on air appearances all too quickly reveal to be false.

Having said that I have to admit to being more than a little uncomfortable with the idea of Palin somehow leading a crazy ass army of blogging sycophants, willing to fill the internet with lies about the President and attacking our democracy one post at a time, while also working to reshape Palin's image so that she can once again be relevant.

Gee can you even imagine having Sarah Palin, James O'Keefe, and Michelle Malkin all at the same conference?  That is almost TOO much insanity even for Vegas!

Today's victim topic, Andrew Breitbart.

Sarah Palin uses misinformation and Republican talking points to attack Planned Parenthood.

I received this in my e-mail box late last night from a source who is on a certain Grizzled Mama's mailing list. (Yes Sarah, I have spies EVERYWHERE.)

Governor Palin's statement:

The greatest fiscal challenge facing our country today is our government’s dangerously unsustainable debt and its practice of deficit spending. Whatever side you’re on in the abortion debate, surely you can see that our taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund abortion at any time, let alone these hard economic times. And yet that is what has been happening with the taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood – the nation’s largest abortion provider, which is awash in scandal after revelations of its dishonesty with the American public. They receive an average of $1 million taxpayer dollars per day; and regardless of what they had promised the public in their campaign ads, new investigative reporting shows that they are not really using our tax dollars to provide women with mammograms and other real health care services. It’s simply freeing up funds that they can then invest in their primary money-making endeavor: abortion. Planned Parenthood doesn’t really offer women who find themselves in less-than-ideal circumstances any real choice. They don’t show women that they have the power, capability, strength, and love within themselves to choose the blessing that is life. They don't explain the resources that are available to parents who want to give their child life. They don’t show them that adoption is a beautiful choice too. What they offer is not true empowerment or “choice” or women’s health care. I join Rep. Mike Pence and others of conscience and common sense who are leading the charge to end the taxpayer funding of the nation’s largest abortion provider. We recognize that not only is our country buried under Mt. McKinley-sized debt, but that the truest measure of any society is how it treats those who are least able to defend and speak for themselves. Surely the individual resources of a generous country can come to the aid of women in need without the taxpayer funding of abortion.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that is written in the above statement is completely false.  Clearly Palin knows her followers well enough to know they will never fact check anything she says, and simply accept it like it came down from atop Mt. Sinai on stone tablets.

However for those of us who think, instead of believe, her statement flies in the face of the true verifiable facts.

Like many of the most aggressive recent Republican attacks on Planned Parenthood, Palin is basing her claims that "investigative reporting" revealed anything unscrupulous on highly doctored, misleading  tapes obtained by that paragon of honest reporting James O'Keefe, and his sidekick Lila Rose.

The truth about what services Planned Parenthood provides are contained in the graphic below.

The profoundly positive impact that Planned Parenthood has on the communities they serve is revealed in this recent article by the AP:

Over the decades, Planned Parenthood played pivotal roles in easing laws against contraception, popularizing the birth control pill and setting the stage for the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that established a woman's right to have an abortion.

Its clinics have been repeated targets of bombings, arson and protests. A receptionist at one of its clinics in Brookline, Mass., was shot dead in 1994 by John Salvi, who described himself as a militant foe of abortion.

Abortions account for only a small fraction of the services provided by Planned Parenthood — mainly providing contraception, screening for cancer and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. Many of the clients are low-income women with few other options for non-emergency health care.

At many clinics, demand is high. On a recent workday, the waiting room at the Brooklyn health center, which occupies an entire floor of an office building, was filled to overflowing, and center director Nellie Santiago-Rivera said her 35-member staff often sees 150 patients a day.

Most of the Brooklyn clients are black and Hispanic women in their 20s, many without a primary-care doctor of their own.

"This is their community health center," said Evelyn Intondi, a Planned Parenthood nurse-midwife.

As you can see those who most need Planned Parenthood's services are "low income" which in Palin's mind can only mean "non-white," therefore she feels free to place her Red Naughty Monkey Pump heel right on their already oppressed neck without worrying about any serious backlash.  Hell THEY would never support her anyway!

And of course since this is Palin there is also the issue of her incredible hypocrisy on this issue.  Everybody already knows about the famous "Wite Out" incident from her book "Going Rogue," but in fact there are multiple rumors of another one as well which. with my fingers crossed, I hope might be revealed in at least one of the many books coming out about the Grizzled Mama this next year.

Of course even if that were to be revealed, in impossible to ignore black and white, the Palin-bots would suddenly be stricken with temporary illiteracy and refuse to comprehend what was written on the pages of a book they would perceive as an attack on their Queen. In other words, one containing facts, instead of the Palin approved fantasy they have come to accept as reality.

James O'Keefe, the fake "ACORN Pimp." tries to punk CNN.

You can read much, much more about this set up over at CNN

A conservative activist known for making undercover videos plotted to embarrass a CNN correspondent by recording a meeting on hidden cameras aboard a floating "palace of pleasure" and making sexually suggestive comments, e-mails and a planning document show.

James O'Keefe, best known for hitting the community organizing group ACORN with an undercover video sting, hoped to get CNN Investigative Correspondent Abbie Boudreau onto a boat filled with sexually explicit props and then record the session, those documents show.

The plan apparently was thwarted after Boudreau was warned minutes before it was supposed to happen.

"I never intended to become part of the story," Boudreau said. "But things suddenly took a very strange turn."

This O'Keefe kid is a punk.

This is the sorry excuse for "journalism" that is inspired by watching Fox News.

And by the wya do any of you have ANY doubt that Fox would have aired the footge if O'Keefe had provided it?
