This is the dramatic moment a group of far-right Trump supporters tried to arrest Sadiq Khan while quoting the Magna Carta.
The men stormed the Fabian Society conference in London moments after the mayor took to the stage and accused him of 'subverting the English constitution'.
Mr Khan's speech had to be suspended for several minutes as the demonstrators from a group called the White Pendragons were escorted out by police.
The chaos appeared to have been sparked by Mr Khan's comments about the US President's decision to cancel his UK visit.
Mr Trump claimed he pulled out of opening the new American embassy in London because he disagreed with the decision to sell off the old building for 'peanuts'.
But Mr Khan said it was clear that Mr Trump had 'got the message that many Londoners' did not want him here.
As the London Mayor started to speak at today's event, the protesters stood up and shouted that they were making a 'citizen's arrest'.
I am assuming that these idiots are much like our own "sovereign citizens" who think they have the right to open carry automatic weapons into police stations, and don't have to own a driver's license to drive.
Nice to see that Trump supporters in other countries are just as ignorant and ridiculous as the ones in this country.
Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

London borough passes a motion saying that Donald Trump is simply not welcome in their area of the city.
| Donald Trump is not welcome here. |
A London council has called on the Government to revoke its state visit invitation to the “bigoted” US President after he shared messages from a far-right group.
A motion passed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich vowed that Donald Trump “would not be welcome” in the area if the engagement goes ahead.
Councillors said they were alarmed by Donald Trump’s decision to retweet Islamophobic posts by Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First.“
Council further notes with sadness the President’s bigoted attitude towards women and ethnic minorities which has resulted in examples of division and hatred within the US,” it continued.
“As such, Council calls upon the Government to abandon plans to invite Donald Trump on a state visit to the UK.”
Councillors said the huge security costs of the trip should be paid instead to charities that “promote peace and understanding”, such as the Jo Cox Foundation.
There's Donald Trump "Making America Great Again."
I swear this is like the rest of the world's reaction to George W. Bush's stupidity and warmongering, only on steroids.

Breitbart fires writer for making inflammatory tweet in response to London's attack. The catch? She has been making inflammatory tweets for years.
Courtesy of CNN Money:
Katie McHugh, the Breitbart writer who tweeted a number of incendiary remarks in the immediate aftermath of the London terror attack, is no longer with the right-wing news site, four sources familiar with the situation told CNN.
Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow announced McHugh's departure internally Monday morning. After this article was initially published, McHugh herself confirmed she was out, tweeting, "Breitbart News fired me for telling the truth about Islam and Muslim immigration" and posting a link to a fundraising page started to support her on the fringe right website WeSearchr.
McHugh had ignited controversy on Saturday night when she wrote on Twitter that "there would be no deadly terror attacks in the U.K. if Muslims didn't live there."
"You're a real moron," actor Pej Vahdat replied.
"You're an Indian," shot back McHugh, incorrectly identifying the ethnicity of Vahdat, who is Iranian-American.
Seems pretty cut and dried, right?
I mean after all Breitabart cannot defend having such an Islamophobic racist white nationalist on their payroll.
The problem is that this McHugh woman has been an Islamophobic, racist, white nationalist all along.
As demonstrated by her numerous inflammatory tweets:
So the question to ask is since this McHugh woman's opinions were out there for everybody to see for themselves, what took Breitbart this long to be outraged?
Or are they even outraged, or instead simply bending to public opinion?

Donald Trump uses attack in UK to push his politician agenda, and to attack London's mayor.
Trump retweeted this, right before he went on his Twitter tirade.Fears of new terror attack after van 'mows down 20 people' on London Bridge...— DRUDGE REPORT (@DRUDGE_REPORT) June 3, 2017
To be clear the three suspects, all dead now, have not yet been identified. We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 3, 2017
So there is no evidence that they were immigrants, or that a travel ban would have had any impact.
This is the most reasonable tweet that Trump sent. Might have been best if he had stopped right here.Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there - WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 3, 2017
Of course in Trump's eyes being "politically correct" is seen as a sign of weakness. We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart it will only get worse— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 4, 2017
I guess in Trump's mind offering to help means misrepresenting the words of the Mayor of the city that just got attacked and then attempting to shame him publicly. At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 4, 2017
Courtesy of The Guardian:
The mayor, Sadiq Khan, did not use the phrase “no reason to be alarmed” in a statement overnight or when he spoke in a television interview earlier on Sunday.
In the statement, Khan said “Metropolitan police are responding to the horrific terrorist attack at London Bridge and Borough Market,” and added: “My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I’d like to thank the brave men and women of our emergency services who were first on the scene and will be working throughout the night.
“This was a deliberate and cowardly attack on innocent Londoners and visitors to our city enjoying their Saturday night,” he said. “I condemn it in the strongest possible terms. There is no justification whatsoever for such barbaric acts.”
I guess because the mayor did not attempt to cause undue panic, and talked in complete sentences, Trump somehow found fault with him.
But wait, there's more.
Not having a gun debate because England has some pretty serious gun control laws in place.Do you notice we are not having a gun debate right now? That's because they used knives and a truck!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 4, 2017
Does Trump really believe that if these killers had been able to get access to firearms they would not have used those in the attack?
And for fuck's sake why is he bringing that up at a time like this?
Author J.K Rowling had a fairly perfect response.
Well since the guy sitting in the White House does not know how to do this properly just let me say that as an American citizen my heart goes out to the victims injured and killed in this attack, and that I hope the people of London find some solace in the good will that is pouring into their country from every part of the world NOT led by a selfish orange tinged asshole. It's called 'leadership', Donald. The terrorists were dead 8 minutes after police got the call. If we need an alarmist blowhard, we'll call. https://t.co/NUiy9j4fBt— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 4, 2017

Well it appears that the folks in London are just as thrilled with Donald Trump as we are.
Courtesy of ABC News:
Thousands of protesters have marched on Parliament in London to demand that the British government withdraw its invitation to U.S. President Donald Trump for a state visit.
Criticism of Conservative British Prime Minister Theresa May has swelled since her Washington visit to meet Trump last month, when she confirmed plans for a return visit by Trump to Britain expected in the summer.
Saturday's demonstration in the British capital involved a two-mile (3-kilometer) march of several thousand people from the U.S. embassy to the Houses of Parliament. Protesters chanted "Theresa May, shame on you!"
The Parliament is set to debate plans for Trump to visit London, but clearly if he does he can expect just as many protesters there as he constantly see here in the US.
And this is not just happening in English speaking countries either.
There are protests happening around the world against Donald Trump and his Muslim ban.
Let's face it, the man is REALLY bringing the world together.
Against him.

England has an entire task force dedicated to faith related abuse cases. And they are on the rise.
Courtesy of the BBC:
The Metropolitan Police said there had been 60 crimes linked to faith in London so far this year. It saw reports double from 23 in 2013 to 46 in 2014.
Half of UK police forces do not record such cases and many local authorities are also unable to provide figures.
The NSPCC said authorities "need to ensure they are able to spot the signs of this particular brand of abuse".
London is unique in having a police team, Project Violet, dedicated to this type of abuse.
Its figures relate to crime reports where officers have flagged a case as involving abuse linked to faith or belief. Many of the cases involve children.
Here is one such case that was investigated by the task force:
Ibidapo was trafficked to the UK from Nigeria in 2007, to work as a servant for relatives in the North of England. They accused her of being a witch, stopped her going to school and physically assaulted her. She escaped with the help of a Nigerian woman living nearby.
"I started living with my aunty at the age of 10, to help her to look after the baby. If my aunty went to work I'd be left with the baby, to do all the housework, wash clothes, cook the food.
"Each time the children got sick my aunty would accuse me of being the one responsible for their illness, start calling me a witch, start beating me up, and there was a time that she took me down to church, to a pastor. They were calling me a witch, they were using a broom to beat me.
"Sometimes my aunty would look into my eyes and call me a witch. It made me feel rejected, like I'm nobody."
Religion of course is just a socially acceptable label for superstition, and superstition is the gateway to all kinds of abuse in the name of gods, angels, or demons, or punishment for those who do not share their particular superstitions.
Christians in this country are big on pointing the finger at Muslims in the Middle East who behead, stone to death, and mutilate in the name of their religion without acknowledging the many atrocities still being perpetrated around the world in the name of Christianity.

Transgender British comic Eddie Izzard will run for mayor of London as a proud, out of the closet Atheist.
Courtesy of Las Vegas Review-Journal:
American politicians who aren’t religious may claim they are, out of fear or pandering. But comedian Eddie Izzard will run for mayor of London an an atheist, and he expects no fallout.
That’s because Brits aren’t so religiously punishing to candidates now, partly because World War II killed millions of people and many people’s faith, Izzard said.
“We had a Second World War happen on our land mass. Of the 50 million that died, probably about 35 million died” in the region, he said. “And I think we noticed God wasn’t there or didn’t care.”
Izzard is a beloved comedian worldwide, not despite of the strong stances he jokes about, while wearing pretty dresses as a straight transgender, but because of all that. He is a funny, fearless, silly intellectual who never dumbs down his act.
Izzard has been his true self in public for decades.
“I decided to come out as transgender years ago, before my career took off,” he said. “I just thought, ‘(Expletive) it, I’ll do that and see what happens. It’s been great.”
Man can you even imagine a transgender atheist running for the mayor of anywhere in the USA?
That campaign would have the religious right in the streets with torches and pitchforks from the get go.
Izzard is not planning to run until 2020, so maybe by that time we will see attitudes in America change somewhat. Well, one can always hope.
If you unfamiliar with Izzard, well shame on you. Here is a brief video of him on stage to get you up to speed.

In article ostensibly about how few people in England have ever heard of Chris Christie, we learn that at least one Londoner would like just one thing from him. To tell that lady in Alaska to shut up.
So this New York Times article was supposed to demonstrate how few people overseas had ever heard of Chris Christie. It does that, but then it also reveals just who IS well know over there, and what the prevailing opinion is of that person.
Courtesy of the New York Times:
“I’ve vaguely heard of him,” said Michael Rabbett, 67, as he sipped red wine from a plastic cup (“wine beer,” he noted). He paused to let the name roll around in his head. “He’s in the background of my head. But not really,” he concluded.
Alerted to Mr. Christie’s reputation for voluble candor as well as his party affiliation, Mr. Rabbett asked his own question. “Has he told that lady from Alaska to shut up?”
No, he was informed. Mr. Christie had not tried to silence the former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. “Well why not?” he inquired.
Well I think we have stumbled across the key to increasing Chris Cristie's visibility and improving his overall reputation.
All he has to do is to tell Sarah Palin to "Shut the hell up!"
After all it's not like telling people to shut up is not in Christie's wheelhouse, he does it all of the time.
And it's not like Palin has not criticized him in the past, giving him every reason to tell her off.
I think he should go for it.
I mean he will still NEVER be President of the United States, but it COULD increase his popularity within his own party and force other potential nominees to follow suit.
Could you just imagine if 2016 were the year that Republican candidates for the GOP nomination all told Sarah Palin to shut up?
I think that might be my version of heaven.

Proof that a Palin can learn. Willow Palin at Penrose Academy in Arizona. Updated with some insanity.
Here is a picture that features Willow Palin competing in a Vidal Sassoon inspired Bob Competition at Penrose Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Now this picture was originally sent to me in answer to Palin's declaration that one of her daughter's was in London. I am still hazy as to how THIS picture taken on October 4, indicates that Willow is the daughter that is currently in London, but since I seriously doubt the daughter she was referring to was Piper I accept that, if even true, it is probably Willow she is talking about.
However let me just take a moment to say something complementary about a Palin, not exactly a thing that I am especially known for doing.
"Hair school," as the Palins refer to it, may NOT be the height of academia, but we should give some props to Willow for at least wanting to do something on her own that does NOT rely on her mother's ability to pull strings for her, nor trades on her infamous name.
Yes I realize that Willow played a prominent part in Bristol's uber crappy reality show, but I always had the feeling that she was a less than willing participant, and certainly did her part to help demonstrate the unflattering side of her family at every opportunity.
I have always said that Willow is my favorite, and that has remained true since the first time that I saw her (While interviewing her mother in 2009) until now. Yes she is a snotty little terror at times, and she has often only escaped serious consequences for her actions due to her mother's influence, but she has ALSO been the one that has refused to buckle under and parrot the Palin family mythology.
I still hold out hope that someday she will get fed up with her controlling mother, and write that book that ALL of us are dying to read (Call me Willow, my digits are at your disposal), but even if she doesn't, I think she should be given some praise for not trading on her name in order to make fast money, and is willing to put in the time and effort it takes to have her own career.
And considering that she is surrounded by these people.
And these people.
That is no small feat.
P.S. Now if this translates into a "Big Hair Alaska Part Deux" I take back everything I just said.
Update: And WE'RE the "stalkers?"
I guess this is the example of "living life fully" that we keep hearing so much about.
