According to Nicolle Wallace she would not be surprised to see either Monica Lewinsky or Sarah Palin showing up as hosts for The View.

Nicolle Wallace is currently pimping her new book "Madam President" and during an interview with People Magazine was asked about the prospect of having Lewinsky or Palin assuming hosting duties on The View:

People: Is there anything to the buzz about Monica Lewinsky being considered as a View co-host?

Wallace: I've heard her name and I've talked about her. I watched her TED talk three times. So I would love to have her on. No idea if she's on anyone's radar as a host.

People: What about Palin, who was once pretty open about wanting the job?

Wallace: (Laughs.) I think I'm all the Republican they can handle right now. I've never heard Sarah Palin's name, but I would not be surprised to see her there one morning. This process is sort of like a Republican White House – it's shrouded in secrecy and there are no leaks.

Yeah the day that Nicolle Wallace shows up and sees Sarah Palin seated on the couch is the day she runs screaming from the studio.

Besides as we know Palin does not want to actually work for her money, so the idea of her taking the job is a non-starter.

As for Lewinsky, I could see her wanting a gig like this.

I think either one of these choices would be nothing more than a casting gimmick, but I imagine that once Lewinsky got past all of the questions about Bill, and stained dresses, she might have something to contribute.

And let's face it if this were to take place during the 2016 election cycle, with Hillary running for President, it would certainly attract viewers just waiting to hear what Monica had to say about Hil.

"Are you reading some newspapers?" Matt Lauer questions Sarah Palin's preparation for her co-hosting duties on Tuesday.

Courtesy of NBC:

Sarah Palin called TODAY this morning as she made her way to Studio 1A, where she’ll be co-hosting the show on Tuesday.

And Matt couldn’t resist poking a little fun at how the former Alaska governor might be prepping for her big gig.

"Are you reading some newspapers?" Matt asked, referencing her TV interview gaffe from 2008.

Palin cracked up. "That's a fine 'How do you do,’" she said. "Here we go."

What can you expect from Sarah's big day? She'll arrive at 8 a.m. to discuss the Wisconsin primary and join the TODAY’s Professionals panel to tackle the day's hot topics alongside Star Jones, Donnie Deutsch and Dr. Nancy Snyderman.

I am not positive, but it certainly does not sound like NBC plans on treating Snowdrift Snooki with kid gloves.

If they are already poking at her about her famous gaffes from the past, this might be a VERY difficult  experience for the Pampered Princess of Punditry.

I love how she thinks she might bore viewers with "too much in depth political talk." As if there were any depth to Sarah Palin at all.

No, when the viewers get bored of Palin it will have little to do with the depth of her knowledge. Or lack thereof.

Personally I consider Star Jones and Danny Deutsch to be lightweights, but compared to Palin they may appear to be Rhodes Scholars.
