Uh oh.

In case it has been awhile since you have taken a history class the significance of 1929 is it is when the Great Depression took hold of the country.

An incident by the way that lasted more than ten years and required a world war to finally overcome.

And remember this is Trump, so any depression that HE helps brings about will have to be even bigger and more impressive than the one that came before.

Cops once found Ted Cruz's wife sitting on the side of the road with her head in her hands and worried she "was a danger to herself."

Courtesy of Yahoo News:

Ted Cruz's wife, Heidi, was once so depressed that a police officer wrote: "I believed that she was a danger to herself."

The incident happened in 2005 shortly after Heidi quit her high-powered job at the White House and moved to Austin, Texas, to be with her husband, who was state solicitor general.

Police responded to a 911 call about a woman in a pink shirt sitting next to an expressway and found Mrs. Cruz sitting on the ground ten feet from speeding traffic with her head in her hands.

I believe this was probably the day that she realized, "Oh God, I'm married to Ted Cruz!"

However the good news is that Heidi Cruz, or the "Stepford Wife" as I like to call her, is all better now:

She rebounded from her depression and now says:

“I want to use it to strengthen people around me and to recognize that we all have rough patches.”

Well of course she is doing better now, that anti-depressant medication is the shit.

Now I think we finally have the answer as to how ANYBODY could be married to such a disgusting POS. Clearly she is well medicated.

Internet use by older Americans can fight depression. Well now I know why I'm so happy all the time.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

A new study published in The Journals of Gerontology suggests that Internet use can reduce the probability of depression among retirees who live alone by 33 percent.

The study was authored by Shelia Cotten of Michigan State University, George Ford of the Phoenix Center for Advanced Legal & Economic Public Policy Studies, Sherry Ford of the University of Montevallo, and Timothy Hale of Harvard Medical School. They used information gathered during the Health and Retirement Study, a longitudinal survey collecting data from more than 20,000 older and retired Americans.

The authors noted “[r]etired persons are a population of interest, particularly because one mechanism by which Internet use may affect depression is to counter the effects of isolation and loneliness, which are more common among older adults.”

They found “that for retired older adults in the United States, Internet use was found to reduce the probability of a depressed state by about 33 percent.”

Makes sense. After all hanging out here with all of you always brightens my day.

Anonymous attempts to find justice for yet another victim of sexual abuse. This poor child killed herself.

Courtesy of the You Tube site:

Anonymous engaged #OpJustice4Rehtaeh this morning in response to the suicide of Rehtaeh Parsons. Justice Minister Ross Landy says that it is important for Nova Scotians to have faith in their justice system. Mr. Landy, justice is in your hands.

Anonymous has confirmed the identities of two of the four alleged rapists. We are currently confirming a third and it is only a matter of time before the fourth is identified as well.

Our demands are simple: We want the N.S. RCMP to take immediate legal action against the individuals in question. We encourage you to act fast. If we were able to locate these boys within 2 hours, it will not be long before someone else finds them.

We do not approve of vigilante justice as the media claims. That would mean we approve of violent actions against these rapists at the hands of an unruly mob. What we want is justice. And That's your job. So do it.

The names of the rapists will be kept until it is apparent you have no intention of providing justice to Retaeh's family. Please be aware that there are other groups of Anons also attempting to uncover this information and they may not to wish to wait at all. Better act fast.

Be aware that we will be organizing large demonstrations outside of your headquarters. The rapists will be held accountable for their actions. You will be held accountable for your failure to act.

That is all

The Heroic Join Us.
Expect Justice.

You can read more about the heartbreaking case of Rehtaeh Parsons here. (Warning: It is quite disturbing.)

I am going to refrain from making any moral judgements on what Anonymous is doing in these cases, but feel free to chime in with your opinion.

I will say this however, and that is that this type of assault happens EVERY day in places all over the world. Rarely is anybody brought to justice due to the lack of evidence, the  hesitancy of the victim to pursue charges, or the mindset of the community about who is really to blame for these incidents.

If what Anonymous is doing stops even ONE of these kinds of attacks, it is hard not to stand with them in seeking justice for victims like Rehtaeh Parsons.
