Image of the day.
Actually I think this is an older picture, but I thought I would share it because I like to remind people that sometimes the President is just a regular goofy guy like the rest of us.

I am not sure if somebody is playing a practical joke on the Palin-bots, on Iowa voters, or on Sarah Palin herself. But this CANNOT be serious! Can it?
Apparently one of Palin's many handful of supporters took it upon themselves to make some commercials to encourage people to write Palin's name in during the Iowa caucus.
However I don't think...I mean you can't just...she isn't even...oh here just let them explain it to you.
I made thesethree four five videos for "Sarah Palin's IOWA Earthquake" group on facebook. We are hoping that Governor Palin will reconsider her decision to not run for president in 2012. Currently, we are asking Iowans to caucus for Palin on January 3rd.
We are in need of more donations. If you are willing to donate any amount to a fund to air ads on Des Moines, IA television stations that will be set to air within the next week or two, please DONATE NOW. We currently only have enough money to air a 30-second advertisement 3 or 4 times in the Des Moines market. We are seeking to at least triple or quadruple this amount. If you can help, or if you know of someone who can, please send them our way.
Okay so right off the bat you realize that this person is fairly delusional. However you may NOT yet assume that they are batshit crazy.
Until you see the commercials they created of course.
Here is the first one.
I am assuming the quick flashes of the Grizzled Mama are because the person making this realizes that a prolonged exposure to Palin will just make more people hate her. However one has to wonder if the strobe light effect might not trigger seizures in certain television viewers rendering them incapable of reaching for their credit cards in order to donate to the cause. And gee wouldn't that suck?
By the way did you notice at the end that this commercial was this disclaimer: "NOT authorized by Sarah Palin, SarahPAC, any candidate or candidate's committee?" And if I may add, anybody else with half a brain.
But as bad as THAT one was, it was not the worst.
I present to you, "The Bear."
Now I am not sure if Palin herself is the bear, or that she is meant to protect America from this "bear," or if in fact the creator of the commercial is just suffering from a strange bear fetish. All I know is that this is one of the craziest commercials I have seen created for a potential candidate since Carly Fiorina's famous "demon sheep" political ad. (P.S. You can see more of these creative political moose nuggets by visiting the link provided above.)
Personally I thought that these Nebraska Attitude people were just yanking me, but a quick jump into the Sea O'Pee demonstrated that the morons were lapping this up like honey.
Donate baby donate!
Its good to see so much positive energy going on on C4P you are doing the lords work to help to get Sarahs name out there in these early primary states. This is what true grassroots is all about
Team Rogue:
You all should be proud of yourselves... this is what teamwork is all about! A few people can make a big difference for many.
As we end this year, not all of us are still here that started last January. This is the way it is on a long march. But we're almost there. In a few months, we'll know for sure one way or another If Pallin gets in and makes this country a better place. Let's give this one last push forward with all the determination you got left. That includes you moderators who think it's easyer to just sit and wait for something to happen. If not now...when?
Please find it within yourselves to be team players and work towards that common goal for the best of everyone.
Ahh, just when you thought these people could not get any more entertaining.
Update: Well it looks like at least one of these ads has really upset a certain demographic in this country. The bears.
Here is a message from their delegated spokesperson.
Well I think that is pretty definitive, don't you?
