Trump is of course referencing this sketch of thug who threatened Stormy Daniels.A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)! https://t.co/9Is7mHBFda— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 18, 2018
After all this is the first time that Trump has tweeted about this whole thing directly, which indicates to me that it is hitting close to home.
Almost like perhaps it is a face he is familiar with, hmm?
Trump also took the opportunity this morning to attack James Comey again, and then lie about why he fired him.
Sadly for Trump we already know why he fired James Comey.Slippery James Comey, the worst FBI Director in history, was not fired because of the phony Russia investigation where, by the way, there was NO COLLUSION (except by the Dems)!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 18, 2018
It must be like a room full of nervous cats in that White House right now.“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”— cld (@cldala) April 18, 2018
