Trump confidante says that White House changes are not over yet. Oh goody.

A friend of President Trump said Sunday that the president has told him he expects to make one or two more major personnel changes in his administration soon, amid mounting signs that Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin is on the way out. 

Christopher Ruddy, chief executive of Newsmax, said others in the White House, but not Trump, have told him that Shulkin is “likely to depart the Cabinet very soon.” 

Ruddy, who speaks frequently to Trump, said on ABC News’s “This Week” that Trump believes that, on the whole, the White House is operating “like a smooth machine” and has been “perplexed” by news reports of chaos. 

“He did say that he’s expecting to make one or two major changes to his government very soon,” Ruddy said.

If this White House is running like a "smooth machine" than I would hate to see what it would look life if it were falling apart at the seams.

Hang on, we are actually witnessing EXACTLY what that would look like.

There are already so many people jumping ship or being thrown overboard that if there are any more Rachel Maddow will have to stand outside on the street so that all of the names can be beamed onto the side of 30 Rock in order to fit in one graphic.

That is NOT what a "smooth machine" of a presidency looks like.

That is what train wreck of a presidency looks like.

Or to put a finer point on it, that is what a Donald Trump presidency looks like.

Yeah you know how Donald Trump has repeatedly denied that he had any contact with the Russians during the campaign? Well that's a lie.

That event occurred on April 27, 2016 and was reported by Newsmax, a Right Wing news outlet, in May of that year.

The Wall Street Journal also reported essentially the same thing, also in May: 

A few minutes before he made those remarks, Mr. Trump met at a VIP reception with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Ivanovich Kislyak. Mr. Trump warmly greeted Mr. Kislyak and three other foreign ambassadors who came to the reception.

“Russia is a ruse. I have nothing to do with Russia. Haven’t made a phone call to Russia in years. Don’t speak to people from Russia,” Trump said during a February 16 press conference. He said he contacts with Russia were limited to talking twice to Vladimir Putin after election day. 

On February 20, Trump spokesperson Sarah Sanders flatly declared that the Trump campaign had “no contacts” with Russia. 

We’ve since learned that at least four members of the Trump campaign — Jeff Sessions, Michael Flynn, Carter Page, and J.D. Gordon — talked with Russian officials during the campaign.

As Joe Biden would say "This is a big fucking deal."

So apparently French reads here and saw that we did a post on Bristol being honored by that third rate Fox News wannabe.

Here is a grown ass woman, pretending to be a twenty five year old single mother of two, now thanking a right wing rag, or honoring her work as that twenty five year old mother of two, which the twenty five year old's mother pays her to create, in order to give the twenty five year old some semblance of respectability and intellect.

I would attempt to explain that further but I am afraid if I did it would somehow give away the plot to the movie Inception. 

Speaking of obfuscation Bristol's plan to divert attention away from her paternity argument with Dakota Meyer seems to be working as several tabloids are now talking about her most recent picture of Sailor Grace Palin.

Yep, babies are cute.

Here was the blurb with which Newsmax started this article:

However one has to wonder how getting drunk and attacking a homeowner and attempting to trap a MOH winner into marrying you forges the future of the conservative movement?

It is really a challenge to find a more pathetic media outlet than Facebook, but Sarah Palin managed to find it. Welcome to Newsmax TV.

The first part of his "interview" just has Palin vomiting forth her opinion of the President and giving her advice on dealing with ISIS, which is so ignorant and ill informed that hearing it murders brain cells by the truckload.

After that Palin once again dances around the question of a possible return to politics, after which she gets to once again feign emotion and talk about sacrificing her life to save Down syndrome children from Daesh.

"Something came out today (This is clearly an older interview.) about ISIS declaring death to children with Down Syndrome. I read that and I kind of got choked up about it.  (Cue the phony clearing of the throat.) I said to myself something like that is over my dead body will ISIS ever be able to destroy the American way of life, which includes embracing children with special needs like Down Syndrome." 

Seriously how often can somebody milk this before the udders simply break off in your hand?

You know it dawned on me while watching this that if Palin is REALLY so concerned about special needs children then HOW can she possibly be an anti-government conservative?

Those two things simply do NOT go together.

I work with special needs kids as well, and virtually ALL of our funding comes from government programs like Medicaid.

And as everybody knows when folks like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz talk about doing away with "government handouts" THAT is exactly the kind of thing they are talking about.

If Palin's favorite politicians were actually able to take over the running of this country, kids like Trig and many other special needs children would find their necessary supports stripped away. (Oh sure unlike most special needs parents Palin could pay for them out of pocket, but would she?)

Without this money for services, their challenges would be virtually insurmountable, their quality of life would suffer dramatically, and let's face it even their life expectancy would be reduced by several years if not decades.

If that were to happen then Daesh would not have to murder children like Trig Palin, because the Sarah Palin endorsed small government policies would for all intents and purposes do it for them.

But somehow I think that never occurred to Snowdrift Snooki. 

Sarah Palin greatly appreciates being chosen by Newmax, as one of "100 Most Influential Pro-Life Advocates" based mostly on her faked pregnancy.

Palin then links to this article over at Newsmax.

There they place her on the list in third place, right behind Franklin Graham and David Daleiden, the guy who created those doctored Planned Parenthood videos.

In the description they wrote, "Sarah Palin, former Alaska governor — Palin proudly doted on “perfectly beautiful” infant son Trig during her address to the 2008 Republican National Convention. Some 40 million viewers learned Trig had been prenatally diagnosed with Down syndrome. Palin, the “mama grizzly” who ran for vice president, has been revered by the pro-life community ever since."

So after all of these years that phony pregnancy is still paying off for Palin. 

Not very well of course, but still paying off a little.

Of course this final babygate story remains my great white whale. Now that Palin has lost all credibility as a potential candidate, political king maker, and Christian this remains the final nail to drive into her coffin of irrelevance.

But I'm working on it.

I actually have a new approach to the babygate story that I am pursuing, as well the possibility of an interview with somebody with some very interesting things to share.

Just waiting for some final pieces to fall into place.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin praised all the participants in the third Republican presidential debate Wednesday in Colorado but singled out Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Newsmax TV because "he schooled the media." 

"That's what the American people are craving — for our leaders who are already in these positions of authority to tell the media to start getting focused on the things that concern us," the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate told host Steve Malzberg on the "Newsmax TV Post-Debate Special." 

There needs to be a focus on "the things that really make a difference in a presidential campaign because the state of the media … has been so poor and so unfair," Palin continued. "We have seen such a downfall of what the media has become [so] when Ted Cruz spanked them — they deserved to be spanked — he put them in order. 

"It seemed like they kind of behaved a little bit better after that," Palin said. 

Palin called Cruz, Donald Trump and Ben Carson the debate's winners, adding that some candidates should drop out of the race. 

However, she declined to be more specific, saying only that some should quit because "they are wasting ammunition on one another." 

I have to admit that I did not watch all of this YouTube video. And I really do not think it is necessary for anybody else to do so either. 

You can literally start it anywhere, the beginning, the middle, or near the end and quickly realize that it is the same old shit, muttered by the same old lunatic, in a slightly different format.

There are a couple of interesting points such as when she begs of criticizing Marco Rubio missing Senate votes in light of the fact that she resigned partway through her first term.

The entire piece is incredibly unprofessional and of course Palin is participating from that studio Fox built for her in Wasilla, so there is a long delay.

For all intents and purposes this feels like the cable news equivalent of Sarah Palin showing up for the opening of a pet store, or hawking crappy jewelry on late night TV. Essentially this is the bottom of the barrel that we all predicted she would be scraping many years ago.

She is much too unlikable to feel sorry for, but there is a sense dissatisfaction that her career is ending in such a pedestrian manner instead of with the huge scandal I think all of us had hoped for. 

There are still some things that I hope to bring to light, but I am not sure that too many people actually care enough to even listen.

Republican strategist says that Joni Ernst is Sarah Palin with more intelligence.

Republican political strategist Dick Morris shrugged off the news that former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin might run for office again, telling Newsmax TV on Wednesday that there's a new and improved Palin on the campaign trail these days — and her name is Joni Ernst. 

"Ernst is Sarah Palin, but with much more in the way of gray cells," Morris told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner, calling Iowa's Republican candidate for the Senate "one of the superstars of American politics." 

Wow, a smart Sarah Palin. That's the kind of thing that gives children nightmares here in Alaska. 

Dick Morris at one time was all in for Sarah Palin, but then he seemed to get over her. (Perhaps he saw her without her makeup or something.)

More recently Morris has become the political analyst who cannot get anything right.

Though I have to say that on this one he is undoubtedly correct.

I think that Joni Ernst IS just as much of a wing nut as Sarah Palin.

And as for the intelligence thing, well damn who isn't smarter than Klondike Kardashian?

Alaskans continue to reject Sarah Palin, and anything Sarah Palin related.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin can forget about any thoughts she has of becoming president in 2016, a new poll of Alaskan voters shows. 

The Public Policy Polling survey shows that 55 percent of Alaskans have a negative view of Palin while only 36 percent have a favorable opinion of her. 

Also, only 20 percent, in the state feel that Palin should run for the White House while 74 percent think she should stay out of it, which were similar figures to a PPP survey in May. 

Republican voters, in fact, placed Palin in sixth position when they were asked which candidate should win the GOP nomination in her home state for the presidential race. 

The poll showed that Palin has the distinction of being the only GOP candidate to trail Hillary Clinton in a head-to-head matchup , with the former secretary of state leading Palin by 46 percent to 40 percent. 

"It’s been more than five years since Sarah Palin quit as governor of Alaska," Dean Debnam, president of Public Policy Polling, said in a statement. "And there’s no evidence that her image is getting any better." 

It does not look as if Palin will be attracting any Alaskan dollars to her new "channel" either:  

According to the statement, Palin seemed "more interested in money-making opportunities than seeking elected office again anyway." 

Alaskan voters, however, have little interest in her new Internet TV channel, with only 4 percent saying they may subscribe to it while 89 percent declared that they will not sign up, according to the poll.

This should come as no big surprise to those of us who have waded through the SarahPAC filings and found virtually NO donations from people living in Alaska.

Keep this in mind the next time that severely under medicated troll comes stumbling through here telling everybody that Palin has all of these friends in Alaska.

Just about EVERYBODY up here hates her ass, and the only people who still defend her are those that are paid to do so.

Oh and this is also why she will not endorse a candidate up here. Because if she did that person's political career would disappear right before your eyes.

Mediaite reminds us who else had missing emails besides former IRS official Lois Lerner.

So all of you undoubtedly remember that last week Palin unleashed a nasty little Facebook post comparing the missing IRS e-mails to the 18 minute gap during the Watergate investigation.

Well that reminded the folks at Mediaite of a little something:

Perhaps Palin forgot what it was like to be the subject of a similar investigation exactly three years earlier after her office released her emails to the press. On June 13, 2011, the Anchorage Daily News reported that “Nearly a month of former Gov. Sarah Palin’s emails are missing from the documents released to media organizations last week, a gap that raises questions about what other emails might also be missing from what’s being nationally reported as her record as Alaska governor.” 

According to the documents Palin’s office provided, she sent no official emails from between December 8, 2006 and December 29, 2006, in other words her first full month in office. As the paper put it, “That means zero emails during a period during which, among other things, Palin put out her proposed state budget, appointed an attorney general, killed the contract for a road out of Juneau and vetoed a bill that sought to block state public employee benefits to same-sex couples.” 

The Anchorage Daily News that the gap was due to Palin’s preponderance to use a personal Yahoo email account instead of the official state account, thereby allowing her to hide certain communication from public view. The first email Palin was on record as sending came on January 2, 2007, one month after she took office. 

You know I think a couple of you brought that up last week as well.

And Mediaite is right that once again Palin is demonstrating a staggering amount of hypocrisy, especially when you remember that she created that Yahoo account specifically to keep her e-mails from being subpoenaed in case of an investigation, which kind of makes it seem that she was always planning to engage in some unscrupulous behaviors even at the very beginning of her first term.

I am sure that Richard Nixon would beam with pride at her deceptive activities and attempts to outmaneuver those who were supposed to keep her on the straight and narrow.
