White Supremacist kicked off Facebook. Well occasionally Facebook gets something right.

Facebook is the latest platform to expel white supremacist Richard Spencer. The website has removed three pages that belonged to the white supremacist, the BBC reported. 

Spencer, who is known for popularizing the term “alt-right,” ran the Facebook page of his National Policy Institute think tank, another one promoting his AltRight.com news analysis website, and his personal page. 

At a time when Facebook is under scrutiny for privacy concerns, the social media website is taking action against hate speech. 

Spencer rose to prominence in 2016 when he was filmed celebrating President Trump’s election win by cheering: “Hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory,” to an audience who responded with Nazi-like salutes. 

I am all for free speech and all.

But there are some people whose free speech is all about taking freedoms away from other people, and I am less than sympathetic when those individuals lost their rights.

Florida teacher who hosted a white supremacist podcast has resigned.

Florida middle school teacher Dayanna Volitich submitted her resignation after it was found she was also the host of a white supremacist podcast called "Unapologetic" and the voice behind a Twitter account riddled with racist and anti-Semitic posts.

Charles E. Moore, Volitich's attorney, had no comment on his client's resignation letter. 

Volitich, 25, taught social studies at Crystal River Middle School in Crystal River, Florida. Online, she went by the pseudonym "Tiana Dalichov." Last month, she confirmed through her attorney that she was the one speaking as Dalichov on the podcast, but said her comments were "political satire and exaggeration" and the persona was a "hobby."

 "None of the statements released about my being a white nationalist or white supremacist have any truth to them, nor are my political beliefs injected into my teaching of social studies curriculum," she said in the statement.

That's funny, that "political satire" and "exaggeration" claim is the same one made by Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones when their hateful rhetoric was in danger of costing them a job, or custody of their kids. 

The local school district has not yet accepted Volitich's resignation but it is hard to see how they won't, after all even for Florida this is bad publicity.

Samantha Bee identifies the connection between numerous mass killers and the Alt-Right movement.

So how is this movement NOT officially identified as a terrorist organization?

Oh that's right, they're white.

And here is an NPR article which reports that three recent murders were connected to a Neo-Nazi organization called the Atomwaffen Division.

Students at an all girls Catholic School in Maryland out their substitute teacher for his alt-right views, and participation in Charlottesville riot.

A substitute teacher and field hockey coach at an all-girls Catholic school in Maryland was fired after his "alt-right" views were discovered by students. 

Gregory Conte was fired this week from the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington after students discovered his personal Twitter profile in which he made remarks such as “Hitler did not commit any crimes,” FOX 5 DC reported.

The Twitter account, in which Conte used the name Gregory Ritter, said he was the director of operations at the National Policy Institute, which is run by high profile white supremacist Richard Spencer. Conte's Twitter account was still active when this article was published. 

The students also found footage of Conte at the deadly August white supremacist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va. 

The school issued a statement to parents in which they claimed that Conte's views did not seem to have a negative impact on his students.

Oddly enough the school learned about Conte's troubling alter ego in October, but did not notify the parents until January.

As for Conte, he does not seem to have had his beliefs shaken in the least.

Well that's a troubling tweet.

The good news is that the Russians do not seem to be doing much to alter the outcome of the German election. The bad news is that the American Right Wing seems to be taking up the slack.

An alliance of mostly anonymous online trolls and extremist agitators are meddling in Germany's election, but researchers say Russians aren’t to blame. 

Instead, they say, right-wing groups in the United States are behind materials popping up on YouTube, messaging board sites like 4chan and reddit and texting service Gab.ai. 

The evidence comes less than a week before Sunday's vote that is likely to hand German Chancellor Angela Merkel a fourth term. 

"So far we have not been able to track down any specific Russian activity," said Simon Hegelich," a professor of political science data at the Technical University of Munich who has advised the German government about the threat of hacking and false information. 

"A lot of the stuff we are seeing in Germany can be linked to, or is at least inspired by, the 'alt-right' movement in the U.S.," Hegelich said, referring to a loosely defined group whose far-right ideology includes racism and white nationalism. 

Many denigrate both leading candidates — Merkel and her conservative Christian Democratic Union party, and her chief rival, Martin Schulz of the left-of-center Social Democratic Party — with the hashtags #Merkel and #Schulz. 

And many of those posts originate in the U.S., adding to the impression that right-wing social media users in both countries may be trying to sway German public opinion. It's possible that some of this alt-right messaging coming out of the U.S. may be connected to Russian interference; that, too, is difficult to determine, Hegelich said. 

Really the take away from this is that it is now almost impossible to differentiate between Russian and Right Wing trolls.

I think that explains why despite the investigations into Russian collusion, Donald Trump is not losing much support from this particular demographic. 

Oh, they have their own Jesus. Well that makes sense.

Okay well this explains how they can continue to call themselves Christians while mistreating everybody who does not look like them.

In recent months more than 2,500 companies have stopped advertising on Breitbart News.

More than 2,500 advertisers have reportedly stopped advertising on right-wing news website Breitbart News in recent months, underscoring the swelling power of a grassroots campaign to boycott the platform, especially amid escalating political tensions in the US. 

According to a tweet by Sleeping Giants, a campaign group aiming to pressure companies into cutting ties with media they deem to be racist or sexist, the number of advertisers that have ceased advertising is “climbing towards 2,600”.

Gee does that mean that most advertisers do not want to be associated with an outlet that promoted white nationalism? 

It looks like Steve Bannon is returning right on time to watch the last exodus of anybody idiotic enough to have every advertised with Breitbart.

No real problem though, not at long as the Mercer family is still willing to waste their money on keeping it afloat.

I don't think that too many people set out to be a martyr.

I certainly believe that Heather Heyer expected to return home to her family after she spent the afternoon standing up for the rights of others.

However she did not get to return home, and it was those who have no respect for the rights of others who took her life.

Her mother would like her legacy to be about the fight for justice.

“Heather was not about hate, Heather was about stopping hatred,” Bro said through tears. “Heather was about bringing an end to injustice. I don’t want her death to be a focus for more hatred, I want her death to be a rallying cry for justice and equality and fairness and compassion.”

Keep in mind that the man driving that car which took her Heather Heyer's life was not the only alt-right protester willing to resort to acts of terrorism.

Trump's NSA adviser. H.R. McMaster was willing to call these acts "terrorism" on the Sunday Talk shows today, but so far our commander-in-chief has refused to do the same.

But WE know terrorism when we see it.

And we know that it is not indicated by the religion which you follow, or the color of your skin, but rather the darkness in your heart.

Alt-Right brags that Trump Administration is "giving them space to destroy."

“He’s going to give us space to destroy,” Michael Peinovich, the creator of The Right Stuff, an alt-right podcast network said during a Sunday guest appearance on “Fash the Nation,” the movement’s most popular web radio show.

“He’s going to give us space to operate, and frankly, it is space to destroy,” Peinovich continued. 

“Now is the time that we have to make hay while the sun shines . . . while these investigations of ‘domestic terrorist groups’ are not being funded by the government, they’re not being pushed by the Department of Homeland Security” argued one of the co-hosts of the program, an anonymous former Republican political staffer who calls himself Jazzhands McFeels. 

“We’d probably be facing fucking [racketeering] charges or some shit like that,” Peinovich said, discussing what he believed might have happened if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 presidential election. 

“We have to use these four years to grow into something that can’t be defeated,” Peinovich said, referring to possible future investigations of neo-fascist groups. 

Some parts of the Trump administration actively want to encourage the growth of the alt-right, the former Hill staffer “Jazzhands McFeels” said, claiming that Trump’s top strategist Steve Bannon secretly was trying to enable the fringe movement. 

“They kind of expect us to be doing this. I’m not saying he’s our guy, but they want — at least Bannon, I would think — wants us to be able to operate in that space. So we should and we are,” he said. 

Both podcasters’ statements were met with agreement by guest Richard Spencer, an alt-right editor who operates a series of niche web publications and conferences catering to self-styled racist intellectuals who has since tried to rebrand himself as more of an activist.

You might remember Richard Spencer as a big Trump supporter who claimed that Trump was a white nationalist, whether he admitted it or not.

Whether Trump is as big of a racist as this Alt-Right crowd or not, the fact that he refuses to recognize any terrorism that does not come with a brown face and an Islamic background means it is open season for these clowns.

And that is very dangerous indeed.

White Supremacists threaten to revolt if Donald Trump does not discriminate against the immigrants and non-whites like he promised.

Donald Trump will disappoint and disillusion his far-right supporters by eschewing white supremacy, according to some of the movement’s own intellectual leaders. 

Activists who recently gave Nazi salutes and shouted “hail Trump” at a gathering in Washington will revolt when the new US president fails to meet their expectations, the leaders told the Guardian. 

The prospect of such disillusion and internecine squabbling may console liberals who fear a White House tinged with racism and quasi-fascism. All the more reassuring because it comes from far-right influencers and analysts, not wishful progressives. 

Instead of enjoying proximity to power, according to this analysis, vocal parts of the loose coalition known as the “alt-right” could remain on the political fringe, wondering what happened to their triumph.

Jared Taylor, a white supremacist who runs the self-termed “race-realist” magazine American Renaissance, said the president-elect had already backpedalled on several pledges that had fired up the far-right. “At first he promised to send back every illegal immigrant. Now he is waffling on that.” 

David Cole, a self-proclaimed Holocaust revisionist and Taki magazine columnist, envisaged the movement sliding into bickering and in-fighting, stuck in “rabbit warrens” of online trolling rather than policy shaping. “In January Trump will start governing and will have to make compromises. Even small ones will trigger squabbles between the ‘alt-right’. ‘Trump betrayed us.’ ‘No, you’re betraying us for saying Trump betrayed us.’ And so on. The alt-right’s appearance of influence will diminish more and more as they start to fight amongst themselves.”

And here I thought I would have a hard time finding anything to put a smile on my face in the next four years. 

I think watching Trump's racist base freaking out and start fighting among themselves when they find out that Trump has no intention of building a wall or sending all of the undocumented immigrants back to Mexico should provide hours of entertainment.

And you can bet I will document ALL of it.

Vice News files lawsuit against FBI for records about their interference in the 2016 election.

VICE News is suing the FBI, demanding the bureau release records related to its curious disclosures, behind-the-scenes actions, and apparent leaks in the days leading up to the U.S. presidential election. 

The wide-ranging Freedom of Information Act lawsuit was filed Tuesday morning in conjunction with Ryan Shapiro, a doctoral candidate at MIT and research affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. Earlier this month, VICE News and Shapiro filed more than 50 FOIA requests with the FBI seeking documents about the bureau’s discussions regarding Donald Trump, along with other documents that would shed light on the FBI’s decision a week before the election to tweet newly posted records from a long-dormant Twitter account about Bill Clinton’s 2000 pardon of financier Marc Rich. 

The pardon, a controversial decision by the former president, was investigated at the time by current FBI director James Comey while he was U.S. attorney. 

Our FOIA lawsuit notes that the FBI failed to respond to our requests for expedited processing. We argued that we urgently needed the documents to immediately inform the public. Among the FBI records we seek to compel the FBI to disclose: 

• Allegations of the FBI violating the Hatch Act by allegedly using its authority to influence the course of the 2016 U.S. presidential election • Internal discontent at the FBI regarding the bureau’s Hillary Clinton investigations 

• All leaks of information by the FBI to the media and political operatives about FBI investigations of Clinton 

• All FBI communications with Breitbart News; Breitbart executive chairman Steve Bannon, who Trump named his chief strategist and White House counselor after Bannon served as his campaign CEO; former Trump campaign manager Corey R. Lewandowski, Fox News, and Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Sean Hannity; former New York City mayor and Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani; and Republican strategist and Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone 

• White nationalist Richard Spencer, his National Policy Institute, and the “alt-right.”

I am not sure how successful this lawsuit will be, but I am pretty stoked to read about any records they might get from it.

Especially the ones about the Clinton e-mail investigation as well as anything to do with Bretibart or Fox News.

Yeah, I would really like to see those.

“Donald Trump’s campaign was the first step towards identity politics in the United States,” cheered Richard Spencer, the president of the National Policy Institute, an arm of the alt-right, at an afternoon press conference. “…I do think we have a psychic connection, a deeper connection with Donald Trump, in a way we simply do not have with most Republicans.”

The alt-right, a nationalist movement that embraces white identity politics and has been associated with racism and anti-Semitism, gathered over the weekend at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center downtown to regroup after the election and plot a path forward. 

Spencer made clear that he doesn’t think Trump is a member of the alt-right, and Trump himself has condemned bigoted attacks from his supporters. But the alt-right views his election as a validation of sorts, and in an hour-long press availability, Spencer and several other leaders of the movement said they expected Trump’s successful campaign to usher in a new era of populism, hardline immigration policy and a foreign policy that deemphasizes NATO and rebuilds strong ties with Russia.

Of course the Alt Right, or as they are better known the White Nationalists, are celebrating the election of Donald Trump.

After all when was a better time in recent history to be a straight white male racist?

Now these people can openly discriminate and denigrate, not only Muslims and African Americans, but also women and the LGBTQ community.

Let's face right now bigotry is as American as apple pie and burning crosses.

The only problem of course is that after these ignorant schmucks come down off their racist high they are going to realize that Trump simply cannot deliver on his promise to build the Great Wall of Texas, or deport millions of Mexicans, nor stop people from entering this country based on their religion.

And then they will have to confront those facts they have been evading this last year, which are that Donald Trump is a corpulent orange habitual liar who simply spouts whatever pops into his pea sized brain with no idea or plan to actually make it happen.

The letdown will be spectacular, but until it happens we are still stuck with rampant racist attacks and ever increasing hate crimes.

After all elections have consequences, and those who voted third party or voted against Hillary based on manipulations by Russia and the FBI are now learning that the hard way.

"Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That's power. It only helps us when they" — I believe by "they" he means liberals and the media, already promoting calls for his ouster — "get it wrong. When they're blind to who we are and what we're doing." 

Oh yeah, nothing troubling about this.

Bannon also claims that he is not a white nationalist: 

"I'm not a white nationalist, I'm a nationalist. I'm an economic nationalist."

Let's see an "economic nationalist" who used his online news site to promote antisemitism,  Islamophobia, and racism. And whose audience was largely made up of neo-Nazis, KKK members, and the Alt-Right.

How is that different than a "white nationalist" again?

David and Nancy French learn all about irony, the alt-right way.

David French, a columnist for National Review, and his wife Nancy French, a columnist for the Washington Post, have come under what French called “an unending torrent of abuse that I wouldn’t wish on anyone” in a column published Friday. He describes how, more than a year ago, he began seeing images of his daughter’s face photoshopped into gas chambers or slave ships, and how the comment section of his wife’s blog on Patheos filled with images of extreme violence. 

French’s adopted daughter is black and was called “niglet” and “dindu” by French’s online harassers, who also claimed his wife cheated on him with black men while he was deployed to Iraq. It's a common charge among far-right internet trolls who often accuse others of being cuckolded, both sexually and ideologically. 

French recounts how, immediately after he declined to mount an independent run for president, his wife received an email from a Trump supporter “who informed her that he knew the business end of a gun and told her directly that she should shut her mouth or he’d take action.” In another incident, French wrote that a phone call between his wife and her elderly father was interrupted by a third angry voice on the call, spurring “a brief, anxious search inside my father-in-law’s home for a potential intruder and yet another call to law enforcement.”

This is how French ends his National Review article:  

Two weeks ago Nancy and I were enjoying lunch with friends after church. My son’s football coach asked if “things had calmed down” after the tumult of the summer. I grabbed my phone, said “let’s see,” and opened my Twitter mentions. I laughed at the first one, a standard profane rant calling me a traitor for opposing Trump, but when my wife looked, her face twisted up in shock. There they were, just below, more tweets from more men, aimed directly at her. She burst into tears. 

So, no, things have not “calmed down,” and I’m always amused when people tell me that I belong to Never Trump because it makes me feel good about myself. There’s nothing that gives me pleasure about this election season. But if I can do anything to expose and oppose this latest debasement of our politics and culture, and to defend my wife and daughter, then at least I will have purpose.

Look I don't think it is okay for ANYBODY to be treated in this manner.

But it hard to feel sympathy for somebody who had no problem supporting the beta version of Trump, but then acts terrified to see who supports Sarah Palin 2.0.

In many ways Nancy French was instrumental in helping Sarah Palin expand her brand and fire up the very same group of right wing nutjobs who are currently suggesting that she be burned at the stake.

Nancy French helped to put the words in Palin's mouth that her knuckle dragging fans found so inspiring, and even helped her wayward daughter attempt to repair her reputation by writing a book accusing Levi Johnston of rape.

I wonder if she ever lost any sleep at the notion of his face "twisting up in shock" at reading those words?

You know there is a passage from a widely discredited book that I once read, I think it went a little something like this:

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

The reaping part is always a bitch, don't you think? 

Sarah Palin tries to be clever, but you she's hampered by the fact that she's Sarah Palin, and then dives deep into the alt-right conspiracy pool.

Confession: I'm an Obama Admirer (Wait for it.)

It was nice to shake Obama's hand the other night and whisper a belated "thank you" for the courage and love of country he shows in this most important time. Our nation is at a crossroad; I wish we'd had more time to chat so I could further express appreciation (in the thankless position he's in!) for all his pro-America efforts at such a time as this. (Wait for it.)

Oh, sorry... not THAT Obama - this one - Barack's brother Malik who attended the Vegas debate in support of the anti-establishment, anti-#NeverTrump, independent, #AmericaFirstMovement candidate Donald Trump. (OMGD! That would be such a funny head fake if you were middle school kid being raised in a KKK household.) This pic shows Malik Obama and Dr. Ben Carson as we exited the debate's surreal hearing of the oft repeated, unrefuted, untruthful sound bites uttered on stage on behalf of the globalist agenda. 

Wednesday night, Malik and I and others had been stuck outside in the remnants of campaign motorcades so had to walk in late to the UNLV arena. ("Remnants of campaign motorcades" is code for "Had to get our own taxi because Trump refused to pay our way.) Finally taking my seat - front row center, literally on the 50-yard line - we missed opening remarks. Didn't miss anything in the way of media predictability, though, as it was a given we couldn't rely one iota on the referees (the media) to level the playing field in coverage of this final debate. (I will spare you  the link from Breitbart here.)

Friends, rest assured we can survive the crazy deception in this campaign, the question is - can America survive those who suppprt (sic)the deception?  (Yeah I too am pretty confident that we can survive the deception from the Trump campaign and all of his trolls.And yes I think America will survive as well. As for the Republican party, well let's just say the jury is still out on that one.)

(At this point Palin shares one of those despicable fact free alt-right videos attacking the Clintons. Just to prove that she is quite happy wallowing in the mud with Alex Jones and Stephen Bannon. Which is exactly where she needs to be if she his aiming for her own time slot on Trump TV.)

Stay strong America! Its an exciting and empowering time - a whole new ballgame where we no longer rely on blinded referees but instead we level the field ourselves. (Wait, since when are blind referees leveling the ball fields? Don't they have a ground crew for that?) Do your own homework; demand campaign accountability; teach your kids that truth still matters; stiffen your spine, take action and keep the faith!  ( I agree with everything except that last statement. But why do I feel we are talking about two entirely different "ballgames" here?)

For instance watch how Alex Jones, the man who seems to provide Donald Trump with his never ending string of conspiracy theories, responded to the debate on Wednesday.

Yeah maybe if she ate more piles of raw meat and washed it down with several more pots of coffee she could then reach that level of cardiac attack inducing unfettered rage.

Not that I don't think she has it in her, she does.

Here is the article Ella Dawson wrote about her experiences as a target of some of the most hateful rhetoric on the internet.

Her crime?

She wrote honestly about living with an STD.

Over the last two years, I’ve become something of an Alt-right meme. “Free speech activist” Mike Cernovich has tweeted about me at least three times to his 91,000 Twitter followers, each mention resulting in a wave of sickening, abusive tweets sent directly to my cell phone. Even if Mike’s tweets weren’t all that upsetting (a five-year-old could come up with something better than “Ugly and has herpes”), the ones his followers sent me were pretty scarring. Let’s just say that they’re fond of the c-word.

When I created an STD Awareness Month campaign called #ShoutYourStatus with some of my friends earlier this year, it caught the eye of the editor at large of InfoWars, Paul Joseph Watson. He recorded a five-minute YouTube video screaming about how vile we were. “I don’t think we should be that surprised that feminists are bragging about their STDs,” Watson concludes. “After all, they’re so fat and ugly, the mere fact that they’re having any kind of sex at all is a massive achievement.”

It goes on, and gets even uglier, from there. 

You know I get my fair share of trolls here on IM, and on Twitter.

However I am me, and I know that if any of these candy asses were in the same room with me they would lower their eyes and stare at the floor in the hopes that I would not notice them.

However women have a much tougher time of it. For some reason men feel that they are every woman's superior and that they can humiliate them, victimize them, and ridicule them without fear of any repercussions.

And on the internet that is exacerbated by the anonymity which it provides.

That is why Hillary Clinton's presidential run has faced some of the ugliest, most hateful comments, that one can imagine.

It is not because she is a Democrat. It is not because she is a politician. And it is not because she used a private server, the Benghazi attack happened on her watch, or she coughs too much.

It is because she is a woman.

Which I find odd because I have worked with women my entire adult life, and I have NEVER found their gender to interfere with their productivity, professionalism, or ability to relate to their coworkers.

And I will tell you what, I cannot think of ANY man who would openly write about having herpes on the internet.

So rather than feel that this woman should be the subject of ridicule I am actually incredibly impressed with her honesty and her courage.

Perhaps that is what upsets certain men about this young lady and our Democratic nominee. They have the honesty and courage which they themselves are lacking entirely.

Trump spokesperson claims that Hillary Clinton is bigoted toward white bigots.

According to the pundit, Trump had been right to call Clinton a “bigot” because the term was not only about racial discrimination. 

“Bigotry, if you look at the definition, it’s about someone who’s small-minded and sits there and directs hate towards a certain group,” she explained. “Hillary Clinton’s speech [attacking alt-right conservatives] was all about hate towards a group that, while my fellow counterpart might consider them to be very racist, it’s the exact opposite.” 

“These are God-fearing, baby-loving, gun-toting, military-supporting, school choice-advocating Americans!” Hughes added. “And just because maybe there might be some, a part of a very small fringe group [of white supremacists] that read Breitbart — by sitting there and saying the entire website is white supremacy is kind of ridiculous as saying just because you have people that are anarchists and communists that read the Huffington Post, calling that newspaper establishment, [is like] saying that they’re pro-anarchy and they’re against the United States government.”

Damn! I wonder if she also hit her head while out rock running?

Now if you're thinking to yourself that this person seems vaguely familiar if may be due to the fact that SNL did a parody of her back in April.
