A pair of Trump supporters were caught on camera this past weekend issuing unhinged threats to a left-wing bookstore in Berkeley, California. 

The video, which was posted on YouTube by Berkeley’s Revolution Books, shows the Trump supporters coming into the store and confronting people working there. 

The video begins with a woman Trump supporter asking a store staff member if she really thinks “I’m racist because I support our president?” 

“Yes, basically, yes,” the staff member replies. 

A male Trump supporter, wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, called the staffer “commie scum” and told her that “we’re going to burn down your bookstore.” 

The staffer informed them that she had video of them threatening to burn down the store and told them to “please leave” the premises. 

“This is America, f*ck you!” the man shouted at her.

And THAT is the result of being exposed to programming from Fox News, Sinclair Broadcasting, and Right Wing Twitter accounts.

Though to be fair this guy would clearly be a racist asshole regardless of where he got his news.

It's just that racist assholes know where to go to have their prejudices and hatred refueled with misinformation.

Samantha Bee identifies the connection between numerous mass killers and the Alt-Right movement.

So how is this movement NOT officially identified as a terrorist organization?

Oh that's right, they're white.

Here is the SPLC article that Bee mentions in her story.

And here is an NPR article which reports that three recent murders were connected to a Neo-Nazi organization called the Atomwaffen Division.

Vastly outnumbered by protesters, white nationalists cancel second rally.

White nationalists groups that rallied Saturday in Shelbyville, Tennessee, were met by a large police presence and dozens of shouting counterprotesters. Hours later, a second rally planned in nearby Murfreesboro was canceled. 

The demonstrations, which organizers called the "White Lives Matter" rally, were planned by The League of the South, a Southern nationalist group, according to Brad Griffin, the organization's public relations chief. Other extreme-right and neo-Nazi groups joined them in the protests wearing black and bearing helmets and shields. 

The groups had planned to start at Shelbyville and then head to Murfreesboro about 20 miles to the north, but the Murfreesboro rally was canceled, Griffin said. 

About 800 to 1,000 counterprotesters had gathered in Murfreesboro to oppose the demonstrations, Rutherford County Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh and Murfreesboro Interim Police Chief Michael Bowen said in a joint statement. 

Griffin announced the rally was canceled on Twitter saying that Murfreesboro was a "lawsuit trap" and that holding an event there was not worth the risk.

Just goes to show that showing up to protest DOES work. 

These were expected to be the largest white nationalist rallies since Charlootesville, and they were shut down by people who are sick and tired of seeing racists taking over their streets.

That is definitely one for the good guys.

People have every right to exercise their freedom of speech, even racist POS, however they should expect to be met by others who are also exercising their rights to freedom of speech.

And if they cannot take that kind of heat, they need to stay the fuck home.

Richard Spencer, who in August led white nationalists and white supremacists in a torchlight march across the University of Virginia campus that touched off a weekend of deadly clashes, returned Saturday night to Charlottesville. 

Spencer, a white nationalist, posted video on social media of followers carrying torches to the statue of Robert E. Lee, which the city has sought to remove.

The march coincided with the university’s celebration of its bicentennial. 

“It was a planned flash mob,” Spencer said in an interview Saturday night. “It was a great success. We’ve been planning this for a long time.” 

“We wanted to prove that we came in peace in May, we came in peace in August, and we come again in peace,” he said. 

Their message, he said, is that, “Our identity matters. We are not going to stand by and allow people to tear down these symbols of our history and our people – and we’re going to do this again.”

Actually they are going to stand by while these symbols of hatred are torn down, because showing up with Tiki torches and Nazi armbands does nothing to stop them.

As for demonstrating again, I am sure they will.

However now they are too afraid to come out en masse and are only doing these quiet little flash mobs, and then fleeing the area before the big bad counter protesters show up and make them piss themselves.

No, despite having a sympathizer in the White House it is clear that the White Supremacist time is passed, and Americans will no longer cower in fear at their presence.

Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher believes the conflicts in Charlottesville were orchestrated by "Hillary and Bernie supporters." Update!

The violent neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, last month was nothing more than “a total hoax” orchestrated by liberals who supported Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, according to a hard-right Republican representative. 

“It’s all baloney,” Dana Rohrabacher told the San Francisco Chronicle, speaking of the rally where police said a car driven by a white supremacist injured 19 and killed counterprotester Heather Heyer. 

“It was left-wingers who were manipulating them in order to have this confrontation,” Rohrabacher said Thursday, in an effort to “put our president on the spot.”

Yet that’s all bunk according to Rohrabacher, who pinned the events on a former “Hillary and Bernie supporter” who got Civil War re-enactors together to protect the statue of Lee, which would be removed under a proposal before Charlottesville’s City Council. 

“It was a setup for these dumb Civil War re-enactors,” Rohrabacher said of the Charlottesville rally. 

All this, he claims, was a ruse to box in President Donald Trump over the issue of racism in America. On the day of the rally and at a press conference at Trump Tower a couple of days later, the president said blame for the violence fell “on both sides.” His response hurt his approval ratings among Republicans who saw his statements as divisive.

Well SOMEBODY has obviously been getting their news from Info Wars again.

Rohrabacher's major claim to fame is that he is an ardent climate cahnge denier, but clearly his ignorance is not contained to only rejecting science.

He also rejects news coverage, undeniable facts, and apparently ANYTHING which undermines his world view.

Of course the problem is not just with his own stupidity but the fact that he represents a number of equally ignorant people who will continue to make excuses for racists because deep down they agree with them completely.

Though in Rohrabacher's case I am not at all sure it is all that deep down.

Update: I see people referencing the fact that Rohrabacher has been a Russian agent for years, and I would agree with that statement.

And that is further evidenced by his new push to get the White House to pardon Wikileaks.

Police say Richard Wilson Preston was charged with discharging a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school. The 52-year-old was in custody in Towson, Maryland.

So are we to assume that if this guy had fired his gun at unarmed black people more than 1,000 feet from a school there would be no charges? 

Cause I kind of think that if the black protesters had held up their fingers in the shape of a gun and gone "bang bang" that they would be facing life behind bars right now.

I'm just saying.

One Idaho state representative is pretty sure he knows who was behind the violence in Charlottesville. Obama!

An Idaho state lawmaker is facing backlash for sharing a conspiracy theory that former President Obama helped to orchestrate the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., as part of a plot to take down President Trump. 

Idaho Rep. Bryan Zollinger on Friday posted a story on Facebook that suggested Obama and other top Democrats like billionaire George Soros and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe were part of a conspiracy to set up the rally, the Post Register reported. 

“I’m not saying it is true, but I am suggesting that it is completely plausible,” Zollinger wrote on Facebook. The story claims that Obama has set up a “war room” to fight against the Trump administration — a claim that has largely been debunked — and that Charlottesville was a part of his plan. 

The lawmaker later told the Idaho Statesman that it was “maybe a mistake” to share the story but doubled down on his statement that the claims were “plausible.”

Plausible?

So it is plausible that a bunch of Nazis, KKK members, and White Supremacists gathered in Virginia to foment violence at the direction of the first black president in American history?

Sure, plausible, right.

But do you know what IS plausible?

That these racists assholes will continue to blame Barack Obama for every single thing that goes wrong in their lives for the next twenty years despite the fact that he is no longer in office, or wields any real power.

Because THAT is what racists do.

For any of those still telling themselves that the marchers in Charlottesville were not White Supremacists there to incite violence, you should take a moment to watch this amazing footage from the folks at Vice, who were there since the beginning.

A 22-minute documentary released Monday on HBO’s Vice News Tonight offers a chilling look behind the battle lines in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend, with a reporter who embedded with some of the white supremacists who engaged in the violence that ended in the death of one counter-protester and two state troopers. The video has already received nearly 7 million views in the last 17 hours on Facebook. 

“Charlottesville: Race and Terror,” follows Christopher Cantwell, an unabashed white supremacist who spews racist invective while traveling around with a band of neo-Nazis. Cantwell is a prominent “alt-right” shock jock who came to Charlottesville to speak at the “United the Right” rally. In the documentary, Cantwell and a posse of assorted white supremacists speak forcefully about the warped theories underpinning what they consider to be an impending and inevitable race war.
 
Yesterday Donald Trump attempted to excuse the behavior of these people, and to suggest that the media was not being "fair" to them.

And they are now showing their appreciation for that.

White supremacist leader Richard Spencer asserted Monday that President Donald Trump wasn’t being “serious” when he denounced hate groups by name, two days after blaming “many sides” for violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. 

“The statement today was more kumbaya nonsense,” Spencer said at a press conference. “You can say racism is evil; we should all love one another; the sun should always shine, seven days a week; everyone should be above average; everyone should be a wonderful athlete; everyone should love each other. It’s just silliness.” 

“It’s not serious, and I don’t think anyone takes it seriously, including the President,” he added.

That attitude has emboldened these groups to plan even more White Supremacist marches.

And while making those plans they are aggressively going after their perceived enemies.

Logan Smith, the 30-year-old man behind the @YesYoureRacist Twitter account, has been receiving death threats for his work exposing the identities of people who attended the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville this past weekend.

“I have been receiving death threats for the past 20 hours or so,” Smith, 30, said in a phone interview. “They have been threatening my family, too. The overall response of course has been 99 percent positive, but there’s always that extremely small but extremely loud and extremely angry minority that bites back… There’s a lot of them – and they are mad.”

“These people aren’t afraid anymore,” he said. “They’re not hiding behind their hoods like they did before the civil rights era. They are out and proud. I think if they are so proud of their beliefs and proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with neo-Nazis and KKK members and white supremacists of all stripes, then I think their communities need to know who they are.”

It has been pointed out by a number of commentators that while these folks seem upset that folks like Logan Smith are working to identify them by name, they are the ones who feel emboldened enough to march around without their hoods.

So what did they expect?

And soon they will all get the recognition they deserve, because Illinois just passed a measure identifying the Neo-Nazis as a terrorist organization, and I have a feeling that other states may soon follow suit.

Will things get worse before they get better?

Oh yeah.

But ultimately things WILL get better.

I don't think that too many people set out to be a martyr.

I certainly believe that Heather Heyer expected to return home to her family after she spent the afternoon standing up for the rights of others.

However she did not get to return home, and it was those who have no respect for the rights of others who took her life.

Her mother would like her legacy to be about the fight for justice.

Keep in mind that the man driving that car which took her Heather Heyer's life was not the only alt-right protester willing to resort to acts of terrorism.

“He’s going to give us space to destroy,” Michael Peinovich, the creator of The Right Stuff, an alt-right podcast network said during a Sunday guest appearance on “Fash the Nation,” the movement’s most popular web radio show.

“He’s going to give us space to operate, and frankly, it is space to destroy,” Peinovich continued. 

“Now is the time that we have to make hay while the sun shines . . . while these investigations of ‘domestic terrorist groups’ are not being funded by the government, they’re not being pushed by the Department of Homeland Security” argued one of the co-hosts of the program, an anonymous former Republican political staffer who calls himself Jazzhands McFeels. 

“We’d probably be facing fucking [racketeering] charges or some shit like that,” Peinovich said, discussing what he believed might have happened if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 presidential election. 

“We have to use these four years to grow into something that can’t be defeated,” Peinovich said, referring to possible future investigations of neo-fascist groups. 

Some parts of the Trump administration actively want to encourage the growth of the alt-right, the former Hill staffer “Jazzhands McFeels” said, claiming that Trump’s top strategist Steve Bannon secretly was trying to enable the fringe movement. 

“They kind of expect us to be doing this. I’m not saying he’s our guy, but they want — at least Bannon, I would think — wants us to be able to operate in that space. So we should and we are,” he said. 

Both podcasters’ statements were met with agreement by guest Richard Spencer, an alt-right editor who operates a series of niche web publications and conferences catering to self-styled racist intellectuals who has since tried to rebrand himself as more of an activist.

You might remember Richard Spencer as a big Trump supporter who claimed that Trump was a white nationalist, whether he admitted it or not.

Whether Trump is as big of a racist as this Alt-Right crowd or not, the fact that he refuses to recognize any terrorism that does not come with a brown face and an Islamic background means it is open season for these clowns.

And that is very dangerous indeed.

The real power behind the power, behind the power.

Look not every person who voted for Donald Trump is a racist.

But if you ARE a racist, then there is literally no doubt who you voted for.

Online neo-Nazi and white supremacist forums have been unmistakably jubilant lately, as web chatter moved from celebrating President Donald Trump’s electoral victory to celebrating individual cabinet appointments and policy proposals. 

On Thursday, internet racists celebrated another perceived victory: Reports that President Trump will soon remove white nationalist groups from a federal effort to study and neutralize extremist radicalization, and rebrand the program to focus solely on groups associating themselves with Islam.

News of Trump’s plan to reverse that symbolic recognition of right-wing threats prompted a wave of celebration in white nationalist circles. 

“Donald Trump wants to remove us from undue federal scrutiny by removing ‘white supremacists’ from the definition of ‘extremism,’” the founder and editor of the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer (which takes its name from a Nazi propaganda publication) wrote in a post on the site. “Yes, this is real life. Our memes are all real life. Donald Trump is setting us free.”

Interesting that the two groups most pleased with the election of Donald Trump are the Russians and the White Supremacists, don't you think?

It's not fair to suggest that only the Russians are really pleased with Trump's presidency. The racists are pretty over the moon as well.

White Supremacists threaten to revolt if Donald Trump does not discriminate against the immigrants and non-whites like he promised.

Donald Trump will disappoint and disillusion his far-right supporters by eschewing white supremacy, according to some of the movement’s own intellectual leaders. 

Activists who recently gave Nazi salutes and shouted “hail Trump” at a gathering in Washington will revolt when the new US president fails to meet their expectations, the leaders told the Guardian. 

The prospect of such disillusion and internecine squabbling may console liberals who fear a White House tinged with racism and quasi-fascism. All the more reassuring because it comes from far-right influencers and analysts, not wishful progressives. 

Instead of enjoying proximity to power, according to this analysis, vocal parts of the loose coalition known as the “alt-right” could remain on the political fringe, wondering what happened to their triumph.

Jared Taylor, a white supremacist who runs the self-termed “race-realist” magazine American Renaissance, said the president-elect had already backpedalled on several pledges that had fired up the far-right. “At first he promised to send back every illegal immigrant. Now he is waffling on that.” 

David Cole, a self-proclaimed Holocaust revisionist and Taki magazine columnist, envisaged the movement sliding into bickering and in-fighting, stuck in “rabbit warrens” of online trolling rather than policy shaping. “In January Trump will start governing and will have to make compromises. Even small ones will trigger squabbles between the ‘alt-right’. ‘Trump betrayed us.’ ‘No, you’re betraying us for saying Trump betrayed us.’ And so on. The alt-right’s appearance of influence will diminish more and more as they start to fight amongst themselves.”

And here I thought I would have a hard time finding anything to put a smile on my face in the next four years. 

I think watching Trump's racist base freaking out and start fighting among themselves when they find out that Trump has no intention of building a wall or sending all of the undocumented immigrants back to Mexico should provide hours of entertainment.

And you can bet I will document ALL of it.

Producer from the Apprentice is astounded that people bought their bullshit and elected their fake reality star to be president.

People lapped up what the producers were putting out, and the danger became real as news directors, desperate to compete with ratings, started putting music under soft news stories. Facebook started pushing altogether fake news. Opinions on Twitter became truths over lies. At the very same time, some clever producers were putting forth a manufactured story about a billionaire whose empire was, in actuality, crumbling at the very same time he took the job, the salary, and ownership rights to do a reality show. The Apprentice was a scam put forth to the public in exchange for ratings. We were “entertaining,” and the story about Donald Trump and his stature fell into some bizarre public record as “truth.” This is nothing new, and the impact it’s having on the history of the world is best depicted in the Academy Award-winning film Network, a satire.

So essentially just about everything that people think they know about Trump's "success" was written for the caricature of himself that he played on TV.

The producer, Bill Pruitt, also ads this: 

We are masterful storytellers and we did our job well. What’s shocking to me is how quickly and decisively the world bought it. Did we think this clown, this buffoon with the funny hair, would ever become a world leader? Not once. Ever. Would he and his bombastic nature dominate in prime-time TV? We hoped so. Now that the lines of fiction and reality have blurred to the horrifying extent that they have, those involved in the media must have their day of reckoning. People are buying our crap. 

You have probably all read comments by that insignificant little troll POS who keeps remarking that liberals are "lost in the wilderness." But the ironic part of that statement is that liberals knew that electing Trump would abandon this country in that wilderness and so we fought hard to prevent it. 

And we are not by any stretch of the imagination alone in that wilderness, the conservatives, racists, Islamophobes, and Xenophobes are right there with us, they are just too fucking slow on the uptake to realize it.

In fact the ONLY people who are not soon going to be stumbling around in the darkness looking for a way out are the big business folks who are about to have the best, most financially lucrative, four years of their careers.

And Donald Trump is signaling that truth with every new cabinet member he puts in place.

I mean does anybody REALLY think that the new Secretary of State Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson is going to put the needs of this country ahead of the only company he has ever worked for?

Or that Rick Perry is NOT going to fuck up the Department of Energy?

Or that the WWE's Linda McMahon knows dick about small business?

Or that Betsy DeVos does not believe she is on a mission from God to destroy the public education system?

Let's face it Trumpsters, you got tricked into watching a nationally broadcast reality show and convincing yourselves it was real.

And now you get to witness what happens when scripted reality crashes head first into actual reality.

Unfortunately the more intelligent of us, the ones who saw this coming from miles away, the ones you derisively label as "libtards," have to experience that reality right along with you.

Neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and the KKK are all thrilled that Donald Trump chose Stephen Bannon as his chief strategist. And they are not alone.

On the white supremacist internet forum Stormfront, users cheered Bannon’s appointment, calling him “[t]he man who will have Trump’s ear more than anyone else.” 

The Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website that claims to be America’s “#1 alt-right” news source, was only disappointed by the fact that Trump didn’t make Bannon White House chief of staff. (Trump chose Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, for that position.) One comment on that story celebrated Bannon as “our man in the White House.” 

 Some white nationalists clearly view Bannon’s appointment as a signal that Trump won’t seek out a more moderate path, and see Bannon as someone who can hold the president-elect accountable for policy proposals like barring Muslims from the country and building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. 

Former KKK grand wizard David Duke, a vocal Trump supporter, praised Trump’s choice as “a good sign” on his radio show, saying Bannon has been “right on about a lot of issues.” 

Jared Taylor, editor of the white nationalist publication American Renaissance, echoed those sentiments. “I am happy that Steve Bannon will have a policy role in the White House, and I hope he helps President Trump keep the promises made by Candidate Trump,” Taylor told HuffPost. 

After festering on the margins of politics for decades, the white nationalist movement gained a significant boost during Trump’s presidential campaign ― and with the real estate mogul headed to the White House, its influence is only expected to grow. That’s in large part because white supremacist groups received a higher profile as Trump was slow to condemn them and even retweeted them on social media during his campaign.

So many deplorables, so little room in the basket.

These are the folks that are excited about Stephen Bannon, and these are the folks who were the most vocal supporters of Donald Trump.

Please, watch the film "The Undefeated." Bannon understood the media's coverage of the 2008 election defined "injustice" and "double standard." More importantly, he did something about it. I'll be forever grateful, as will other Commonsense Conservatives who will not stand for the press's politics of personal destruction. A masterful work of wrecking the media's biased filter, Bannon captured truth. He'll do the same as we unite around our 45th President, Donald J. Trump.

Prominent white nationalists touted their growing media influence in the wake of Donald Trump’s rise to the Republican presidential nomination on a wave of bigoted rhetoric at a September 9 press conference titled “What Is The Alt-Right?” 

The press conference, organized by white nationalist “think tank” the National Policy Institute (NPI), aimed to explain how the “alt-right” -- a movement of fringe modern white supremacists -- had “become a force in American politics in such a short period of time.” The racist movement has garnered renewed interest from media outlets in the wake of Hillary Clinton’s August 25 speech decrying the Trump campaign’s cozy relationship with the movement, including the hiring of Breitbart News executive chairman and alt-right leader Stephen Bannon as campaign CEO. 

The press conference featured three prominent white nationalist speakers: NPI president Richard Spencer, who coined the term “alt-right;” Jared Taylor, who publishes the white nationalist online magazine American Renaissance; and Peter Brimelow, who founded the white nationalist anti-immigration site VDare.com. 

The press conference came just hours before Clinton told supporters at a fundraiser that half of Trump’s supporters belonged to a “basket of deplorables” -- people who harbor "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic” animus who have been “lifted … up” by the Republican nominee. Indeed, the white nationalist movement has provided Trump with some of his most fervent supporters and praised him for helping to grow their ranks.

Yeah Hillary Clinton should never have offered any regrets.

Her description was right on the money.
