A California man was charged Friday with plotting to aid ISIS by traveling to Syria or staging an attack in San Francisco on Christmas Day, though court documents suggest he later got cold feet.
Everitt Aaron Jameson, 26, of Modesto was arrested earlier in the day and charged with providing support to a terrorist organization. Law enforcement officials say the FBI began investigating him in September, after a tipster reported that Jameson was making pro-jihadi comments in a Facebook posting.
Court documents said when undercover FBI informants and employees began communicating with him in October, he praised ISIS and the deadly Oct. 31 truck attack on a New York City bicycle path.
Investigators said he told them he had the money it would take to go to Syria to join ISIS but later he began to talk about carrying out some kind of attack in the U.S., using skills he learned in the Marine Corps.
The FBI said he eventually began talking about attacking Pier 39 in San Francisco, a popular tourist attraction, because he knew it to be a crowded area. Court documents said he told the undercover operatives that he had no escape plan because he was ready to die.
Does not appear that Trump's Muslim ban would have done a damn thing to keep Americans safe from an attack like this.
Not only is this dude white, but he received his training from America's military.
Certainly does not fit the profile that we are told identifies a terrorist these days.
Well good thing the FBI is still doing its job, despite constant criticism from the new commander-in-chief.

ISIS inspired terrorist blows himself up and essentially nobody else this morning in New York City.
Courtesy of the New York Post:
An ISIS-inspired would-be suicide bomber set off a homemade explosive device at the Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station Monday morning, seriously wounding himself and injuring three others, law enforcement sources said.
The man — a 27-year-old Brooklyn man identified by high ranking police sources as Akayed Ullah — had wires attached to him and a 5-inch metal pipe bomb and battery pack strapped to his midsection as he walked through the Manhattan transit hub.
The man partially detonated the device, which he was carrying under the right side of his jacket, prematurely inside the passageway to the A, C and E trains at Eighth Avenue and West 42nd Street around 7:40 a.m., sources said.
Police quickly took the man into custody.
Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that the man was inspired by ISIS and possibly born in Bangladesh. Bratton, who said the man had been living in the US for seven years, “was supposedly setting the device off in the name of ISIS.”
“So, definitely a terrorist attack, definitely intended,” Bratton said.
That of course could have been a very devastating attack if it had gone off perfectly.
Thankfully this guy was an incompetent terrorist, so lives were spared. Even his own.
Here is a picture of the guy.
As you can see he is brown skinned so I think we can comfortably expect Trump to start tweeting about this guy, and saying his big beautiful wall on the Mexican border would have stopped him, any minute now.

Bat wielding Canadian attacks family from Colombia while yelling that they are ISIS.
Courtesy of Raw Story:@CTVLondon We were victims of a hate crime in St Thomas Ontario. A guy got mad, because we were talking in Spanish . He was about to hit my son who is 13th years old, but my Hubby jumped while the aggressor swings the baseball bat. pic.twitter.com/4tuqSPAH8K— Mari UX (@Mari__ux) December 8, 2017
On Thursday, a man armed with a baseball bat attacked a family in the parking lot of the Elgin Mall in St. Thomas, Ontario, accusing them of being Islamic terrorists.
However, according to the Toronto City News, the family was from Colombia and were speaking Spanish as they made their way through the parking lot.
“We got terrorists here!” shouted the man — who was later arrested at his home in London, ON. “ISIS!” He swung the bat at the family several times, striking an adult male and cracking his ribs.
He then fled the parking lot in a white BMW.
Police charged the 36-year-old attacker with aggravated assault and three counts of assault with a weapon. Officials said the attack “appears to have been racially motivated.”
Ah, so they do have Trump supporters in Canada.
Interesting to note that they are just as unhinged there as they are in America.
Just for the record, how many Spanish speaking members of ISIS have we identified thus far?

Donald Trump is celebrating victory over ISIS that owes its success to President Obama.
What his Twitter-ness fails to comprehend is that though this IS a victory for the United States, it is NOT a victory for him.Big wins against ISIS!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 11, 2017
Courtesy of The Independent:
While the Iraqi armed forces staged an exhausting nine-month siege around the city of Mosul, the US-led air campaign in Iraq and Syria initiated by the former president appears to have proved successful in weakening Isis forces.
The US and its allies, including but not limited to the UK, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey, also provided continual training and advised proxy local forces without sending their own troops into action.
Pentagon officials told the AFP news agency that the outcome in Mosul was clear and that the Iraqi military had become a battle-hardened army which eventually prevailed.
One senior US military official who was deployed to Iraq from 2015 said the "training worked".
"It has enabled the Iraqis to take back their country," he said.
In 2014 things were looking grim in Iraq and Americans had no stomach for sending in more of our own troops.
So instead President Obama came up with a strategy called "by, with and through". Which involved training local Iraqi troops to fight in small units, set up defenses and breech minefields.
And that strategy is the one still being used today, and we know that because Donald Trump ordered a new plan and then rejected it last week because it was too similar to Obama's.
So this victory? This is all courtesy of President Obama.
(P.S. The good jobs numbers are as well.)

The information that Trump leaked to the Russians visiting the White House was that Israel had hacked ISIS computers.
![]() |
Hey you wanna hear some of the nuclear codes I memorized? |
Even one of the rare successes against the Islamic State belongs at least in part to Israel, which was America’s partner in the attacks against Iran’s nuclear facilities. Top Israeli cyberoperators penetrated a small cell of extremist bombmakers in Syria months ago, the officials said. That was how the United States learned that the terrorist group was working to make explosives that fooled airport X-ray machines and other screening by looking exactly like batteries for laptop computers.
The intelligence was so exquisite that it enabled the United States to understand how the weapons could be detonated, according to two American officials familiar with the operation. The information helped prompt a ban in March on large electronic devices in carry-on luggage on flights from 10 airports in eight Muslim-majority countries to the United States and Britain.
It was also part of the classified intelligence that President Trump is accused of revealing when he met in the Oval Office last month with the Russian foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov, and the ambassador to the United States, Sergey I. Kislyak. His disclosure infuriated Israeli officials.
To be clear this incredibly sensitive information was just revealed to two Russian spies simply as a way for Trump to brag about what great classified information to which he had access.
Imagine how that must have made the Israeli intelligence community feel, and how it impacted our allies ability to trust this country with confidential information that if revealed might put their agents in danger or reveal tactics that could help our mutual enemies.
And somebody tell me what information leaked about Donald Trump even comes close to being as damaging to our national security as what he simply volunteered to two Russian operative who should never have been allowed into the White House in he first place.

This is the same reason I would be surprised if we suffered any terrorist attacks in the next few years.
Why bother wasting bombs or bullets on people who are being led to their doom by Donald Trump?

Islamic State magazine instructs potential terrorists to simply visit gun shows in America for all of their death dealing needs.
Courtesy of the Washington Post:
In August, a former Islamic State recruit caused a stir when he described how the terrorist organization sought to exploit America’s lax gun laws.
“They say the Americans are dumb — they have open gun policies” the recruit told the New York Times from a German prison. “They say we can radicalize them easily, and if they have no prior record, they can buy guns, so we don’t need to have a contact man who has to provide guns for them.”
Yep, our 2nd Amendment makes access to guns both easy and affordable.
You know, for freedom.
In the most recent issue of Rumiyah, its glossy multilingual propaganda magazine, the Islamic State encouraged recruits in the United States to take advantage of laws that allow people to buy firearms without having to present identification or submit to background checks.
Recruits should seek out gun shows and online sales in particular, said the write-up in the magazine, which was released Thursday.
“The acquisition of firearms can be very simple depending on one’s geographical location,” the piece read. “In most U.S. states, anything from a single-shot shotgun all the way up to a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle can be purchased at showrooms or through online sales — by way of private dealers — with no background checks, and without requiring either an ID or a gun license.”
“With approximately 5,000 gun shows taking place annually within the United States,” it added, “the acquisition of firearms becomes a very easy matter.”
Using our own insecurities about the possibility of attack, to buy the very weapons they would need to launch that attack.
Ironic, don't you think?
And the sad thing is with Trump in the White House, and the Republicans in charge of virtually everything, the gun laws will only get looser and access to firearms only that much easier.
So what do you think the NRA would say in response to this?
Well if you said that more Americans should arm themselves in order to be prepared for a terrorist attack, give yourself a gold star.

— Scott Adams (@ScottAdamsSays) October 25, 2016
Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams’ vocal support for Donald Trump is getting even more bizarre.
First, he pledged to join a resistance movement and help kill the GOP presidential nominee if he were elected president and behaved like Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
Now, he’s shared yet another strange election-related remark.
Adams seems to think that the absence of terrorist attacks in Western countries before Nov. 8 must indicate that the Islamic State “prefers” Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for president.
You know I used to be a big fan of the Dilbert strip, I actually thought he was quite intelligent and demonstrated a real understanding of corporate America, but clearly Adams has spent too much time breathing in those ink fumes.
It appears that it is not only idiots that support Donald Trump, but if you decide to support Donald Trump then you eventually turn into an idiot.

Trump spokesperson claims that it was President Obama who took the country to war in Afghanistan. WTF?
(Starting at the 1:53 mark)
"Remember we were not even in Afghanistan at this time and Barack Obama went into Afghanistan creating another problem."
On Mediaite you can see video of this Katrina Pierson walking the comment back later and claiming that she was referring to Obama being responsible for the rise of ISIS, which of course is also patently false as the host Victor Blackwell attempts to explain to her.
For the record President Bush took us into Afghanistan in 2001 as a response to 9-11.
It should also be noted that Al-Qaeda was NOT "reduced to ashes" by the surge. That is Neocon propaganda.
However I will predict that in the years to come many Christian school and homeschooling textbooks will blame the Afghanistan and Iraq wars on President Obama, while painting George W. Bush as a Christian patriot who donned his mighty flight jacket to defend this nation from "Islamic terrorists."
You mark my words.

Several Republican delegates are planning to bring their firearms to the convention in Cleveland. You know to fight ISIS and totally not because they feel naked without them.
![]() |
"Be honest, does this gun make my dick look big?" |
As the Republican convention in Cleveland approaches, several delegates from Pennsylvania who support Donald Trump say they are planning on bringing their guns with them to the GOP gathering. Why? They say they are worried about possible violent protest and even an attack from ISIS.
James Klein, a pro-Trump delegate from the Harrisburg area, notes that guns won't be needed inside the convention hall and that delegates won't be allowed to bring in weapons. "But," he adds, "there's the hotels. There's going to be dinners."
So Klein, an insurance executive and economist, has decided to come armed to Cleveland, and he has urged his fellow delegates to do the same. "We're talking about ISIS," he remarks, citing the recent shooting in Orlando and the bombings at the Istanbul airport. Referring to protesters outside Trump rallies, he adds, "We're talking about people who have shown a propensity for violence."
"There are a whole bunch of things happening: You go to various events, receptions, whatever, outside the convention hall," says Ash Khare, a delegate from the northwest corner of the state who applied for a concealed carry permit in preparation for Cleveland. "And you walk on the streets and, you know, people know that you are a delegate, and who knows what the crazy people are going to do? So you've got to be vigilant about what's going on and prepare yourself."
Yeah I think it's a safe bet to predict that somebody is going to get shot at the GOP convention.
I just hope it is one of these gun toting morons and not just some innocent bystander minding their own business.

John McCain claims that President Obama is "directly responsible" for the shootings in Orlando.
Courtesy of the Washington Post:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the elder Republican statesman, said President Obama was “directly responsible” for the terror attack in Orlando due to his failure to combat the rise of the Islamic State terror group.
He answered the question about the gun debate by citing Obama’s culpability for the attack through his foreign policy.
“Barack Obama is directly responsible for it, because when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, al-Qaeda went to Syria, became ISIS, and ISIS is what it is today thanks to Barack Obama’s failures,” McCain said.
When pressed by a reporter on the claim that Obama was “directly” responsible, McCain reiterated his point — that Obama should not have withdrawn combat troops from Iraq.
“He pulled everybody out of Iraq, and I predicted at the time that ISIS would go unchecked, and there would be attacks on the United States of America,” he said. “It’s a matter of record, so he is directly responsible.”
You know I have heard John McCain say some truly despicable things about our President over the years but to blame him for what happened to all of those innocent people in Orlando, Florida is completely and utterly indefensible.
Later McCain tried to soften it with a follow up tweet:
Gee and all of this time we kept assuming that Sarah Palin was foisted upon McCain during the 2008 election, only to learn that he essentially thinks just like she does.
By the way President Obama is in Orlando right now talking to the survivors and consoling the families of the victims. So blaming in for that tragedy right now, even in a bullshit passive aggressive manner, is beyond disgusting.

Donald Trump gets famed Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight's endorsement. Basketball? Donald Trump? Sarah Palin is all over this.
Courtesy of the one basket wonder's Facebook page:
Bobby Knight Endorses Trump! (Oh my God, you can almost smell the dampened Depends from here.)
Coach Knight knows what it takes! (Yes he does! Cussing out his minions, choking subordinates, and throwing chairs! The Bobby Knight keys to success!) This means a lot to Americans who really want to win again. Thank you, Coach Knight. You've always been a courageous one.
And thank you, Hoosiers! And all the other states who slam dunked it for FREEDOM last night! Your good judgement in trusting the Trump Movement with your vote is so incredibly encouraging! Gives us faith in the oncoming Great Awakening many of us recognize and appreciate, where the GOP Machine shall deservedly be dismantled while eradicating the stupidity of the failed Liberals' agenda via votes representing the will of the people. (Saving the country from economic disaster, bringing health care to millions, and ending two very unpopular wars? Is this the "failed Liberal agenda?") Americans are sick and tired of the corrupt Establishment's status quo, so kudos to you: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania for last night's victories.
The Trump Movement will not disappoint. We need a revolution; we've found our revolutionary for America to win. (Yep just like Cuba found Fidel Castro to help them win!)
Our candidate has the will to win. More importantly, as proven by his unmatched work ethic and record of success, Donald Trump has the "will to prepare to win..."
I have to admit that I am not sure how the "will to prepare to win" is somehow better than the "will to win" but then again I don't speak basketball.
You know I am not exactly sure that Bobby Knight's endorsement of Trump should be seen as a positive. This is what he identified as the reason that he supports Trump:
"We gotta talk about this presidential crap just for a moment here," Knight said. "I'll tell you who they said wasn't presidential. I don't even know what the hell presidential means (Well that's enlightening.), but they told him he wasn't presidential. And that guy they told all these people that wanted to say, you're not presidential, that guy was Harry Truman."
"And Harry Truman, with what he did in dropping and having the guts to drop the bomb in 1944 saved, saved millions of American lives," Knight said. "And that's what Harry Truman did. And he became one of the three great presidents of the United States. And here's a man who would do the same thing, because he's going to become one of the four great presidents of the United States."
So Knight supports Donald Trump because he is willing to drop a bomb on Japan?
Wait, wait, wait he MUST be talking about ISIS, right?
But you know the problem with that is that ISIS is not located in just one country, they are all over the place. So dropping a freaking nuclear bomb would only kill a handful of them at a time.
What's more we are not at war with any of the countries in which ISIS operates. So dropping a freaking nuclear bomb on them means killing potentially hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of peaceful non-combatants.
Quite literally if the United States were to do ANYTHING this horrible WE would be the terrorists and the entire national community would form an alliance against us.
Which we would completely deserve.
I think Bobby Knight needs to stick to throwing chairs and throttling basketball players, because when it comes to politics I think Trig Palin has a better handle on things.
P.S. Here is a look at what it means to be a fighter for ISIS. Nuclear bomb, you could take these idiots out with a pea shooter and a well placed stink bomb.

Not only is the guy who rushed the Trump rally stage not a linked to ISIS a former CIA analyst says that ISIS would support Trump's candidacy.
Personally I just love any excuse to play this video.
Courtesy of CNN:
When Thomas DiMassimo tried to rush Donald Trump's stage in Ohio over the weekend, he had a clear goal in mind.
He wanted to send a message.
"I was thinking that I could get up on stage and take his podium away from him and take his mic away from him and send a message to all people out in the country who wouldn't consider themselves racist, who wouldn't consider themselves approving of what type of violence Donald Trump is allowing in his rallies, and send them a message that we can be strong, that we can find our strength and we can stand up against Donald Trump and against this new wave he's ushering in of truly just violent white supremacist ideas," DiMassimo told CNN.
DiMassimo was asked if he had planed to harm Donald Trump:
"No, not at all. There would have been no point. Donald Trump is 6 foot 3. I'm 5 foot 9, maybe. He's a giant man surrounded by thousands of followers, 12 Secret Service and a former Ohio State offensive lineman. That would have accomplished nothing."
DiMassimo also denies that he has any ties to ISIS, and says the allegations have resulted in threats of harm to him and his family:
DiMassimo said he's received thousands of death threats since the Trump rally and that his parents have also been threatened.
When confronted about all of this Trump replied with:
"What do I know about it? All I know is what's on the Internet," he said. "And I don't like to see a man dragging the American flag along the ground in a mocking fashion."
Yep he doesn't know anything about it, but that did not stop him from sending this tweet.
Bakos said ISIS wants to make Muslims in America feel unwanted and "Trump is playing perfectly into that strategy."
"I think they [ISIS] would be the last people that want to hurt him at this point,” she added.
Trump is a liar and a coward.
And it is clear that he has no fear of smearing opponents, critics, and protesters with falsehoods in order to further his agenda because he knows that the simple minded morons who support him lack the intellectual capacity to see through his bullshit.
A former CIA analyst had this to say about ISIS possibly attacking Trump.USSS did an excellent job stopping the maniac running to the stage. He has ties to ISIS. Should be in jail! https://t.co/tkzbHg7wyD?ssr=true— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 12, 2016

That time when the policies of President Obama started to bankrupt ISIS and nobody even noticed.
![]() |
How many times do I have to tell you I've got this? |
Though the American media often portrays ISIS as an unstoppable, terrifying juggernaut, the truth is that the group is in real trouble, and is actually losing ground in its core Iraqi and Syrian holdings. A new leaked internal document suggests the pressure may be even worse than we thought. According to the document, ISIS is being forced to slash salaries for its fighters by half across its holdings.
The document appears to be authentic. "[I] definitely think this is real," Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, a senior fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, told me. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an anti-Assad group watching the conflict, has heard from its own sources that ISIS is slashing salaries.
So at this point you are probably asking, "How did that happen?"
Funny you should ask.
Most of ISIS's money comes from extortion: essentially taking money from its citizens at gunpoint. But there's only so much wealth for the group to steal in the territory it controls without economic growth, and ISIS has no plan for putting together a real economy. Its oil infrastructure, which used to be quite valuable, has been heavily bombed by the US-led coalition.
"Their cash had already been drying up," Gartenstein-Ross explains. "The coalition bombing their trucks bringing oil to market further depletes their revenue by adding a premium to doing business with ISIS. Plus, taxing a population that has very little source of income isn't a sustainable revenue model."
So in short: ISIS has lost 25 percent of its territory since mid-2014. Its cash resources are running low. It has no friends in the region and lots of powerful enemies.
Okay so I kind of understand the strategic reasons for not yelling this from the rooftops and giving Daesh the opportunity to recognize what is happening and taking steps to circumvent these strategies.
However when I hear these Republican candidates bitching about the President having no plan to deal with the terrorists, or when they call him "weak" or "ineffective," I just want Obama to walk up to a microphone somewhere and shut their asses down.
As far as I'm concerned when it comes to the current crop of GOP presidential hopefuls there is not one among them qualified to wipe our President's ass much less take over his job.

Well it looks as if Hillary Clinton was right. Footage of Donald Trump IS being used as a recruiting tool by terrorist groups.
The new Shabab video featuring @realDonaldTrump appears clear evidence jihadists hope to use him to specifically solicit American recruits.

Courtesy of CBS News:
Terror group al-Shabab, al-Qaeda's Somalia-based affiliate, is using a clip from Donald Trump in a purported Islamist propaganda video -- and it's gaining traction among Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) online channels.
The nearly hour-long video, produced by al-Shabab's media arm al-Kataib, uses a soundbite from the Republican front-runner's speech in December calling for the "total and complete shutdown" of Muslims entering the country.
Preceding the Trump clip, a bite from the now-deceased al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Yemen in 2011, warns "Muslims of the West" to be cautious and "learn from the lessons of history."
"There are ominous clouds gathering in your horizon," al-Awlaki says in English. "Yesterday, America was a land of slavery, segregation, lynching, and Ku Klux Klan. And tomorrow it will be a land of religious discrimination and concentration camps. "
The video then cuts to footage of Trump during a South Carolina rally where he said this:
"And so remember this. So listen. Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the --- is going on."
Gee, I guess somebody owes Hillary Clinton an apology.

Sarah Palin COULD see herself voting for an Atheist, but only if the other choice was an ISIS sympathizer. Sadly I think that might be progress for her.
Courtesy of Raw Story:
During an interview on CNN, host Michael Smerconish noted that Palin’s latest Christian devotional book was very political.
“Real world stuff, yep,” Palin agreed. “It’s really important that people of faith, atheists, anybody who would be looking for answers today, the best place to go to look for answers that deal with personal problems and political problems that our world, certainly that our nation is facing, it’s already spelled out for us — the answers — in the Old and the New Testaments.”
I'm sorry. So people who do NOT believe in a god nor have faith in the Christian religion should look for the answers to "real world stuff" in the Bible?
Is it possible that Sarah Palin has no idea what defines an "Atheist?"
What am I saying, of course that's possible.
However that does not keep Palin from reviling us as revealed by her response to Smerconish's next question, "Could Sarah Palin vote for an Atheist?"
“Oof, gosh,” Palin stuttered at the idea of voting for an atheist. “If it all came down to that versus someone who believed in a religion that was hell-bent on destroying those who didn’t agree with their religion, who would literally want to kill those, the infidels who would not say, ‘Okay, I would go along with you,’ then I would.”
“Which means, anybody who is sympathetic to what’s going on today with Muslims terrorists, who would crucify children and behead women and stop at nothing to try to destroy us and Israel and our allies, I’d choose an atheist over that!”
Smerconish then boiled that down to, “Okay, you’re voting for an atheist over an ISIS supporter.”
To which Palin essentially agreed but expressed displeasure that he "made it too simple."
So Sarah Palin MIGHT vote for an Atheist IF their opponent were a Daesh member or sympathizer.
Now see THAT'S why she never gets invited to my Saturnalia parties.
