Sarah Huckabee Sanders literally suggests that the Al Franken accusation should be taken more seriously because he confessed to wrongdoing, while Donald Trump did not.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

During Friday’s White House Press Briefing, Sarah Huckabee Sanders fielded questions about President Trump’s Thursday night tweets calling for an investigation of Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) in response to accusations of sexual assault. Sanders rejected any suggestion that Trump should likewise be investigated for any of the accusations made against him.

“This was covered extensively during the campaign,” she said. “We addressed it then. The American people spoke very loud and clear when they elected this president.”

When asked to clarify how Trump and Franken were any different, Sanders responded, “I think in one case specifically, Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing. The president hasn’t. It a very clear distinction.”

So in Trumpland taking some responsibility for your actions toward one accuser makes you MORE guilty than the guy facing more than a dozen accusations who does not?

WTF?

And while we are on this topic let me share this tweet with you of the actual rehearsal that Leann Tweeden claims was the setting for her "assault."
That is a script clutched in Tweeden's hand so this is definitely the rehearsal.

Here is a wider shot.
In her accusation Tweeden said that Franken, "came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth."

Now I don't want to call this young woman a liar, but this does not really seem to back up her accusation.

Here's a fact that I am certain I have never shared with you all before.

I attended college with my girlfriend who happened to be the star of every play, musical, and performance at our high school.

She wanted us to have at least a few classes together, so she insisted that I take an acting class with her. (I was not thrilled at first, but it was fun.)

Of course we performed together, and in one of the performances it called for a kiss.

I was thrilled, because kissing her was what I wanted to spend every waking hour doing anyhow.

Both she and the acting teacher informed me that for our performance we would be expected to do a "stage kiss" instead. That is when you kiss next to, but not on, each other's mouth. And then you exaggerate it so that it seems more passionate to an audience sitting in an auditorium or theater.

It seemed silly to me, but that is what we did.

And that is what it appears is happening in this picture.

The whole dramatic clutch, and bending over of the female, is meant to show a passionate kiss to the back row of a theater, even though in reality your lips are nowhere near touching.

Now I am still willing to say that this picture was in bad taste, and that Franken needed to apologize for it.

However for the rest of it I am waiting to see what an ethics investigation shows before I pass any judgement.

Right now in my opinion Al Franken is a bigger man for taking responsibility to what he did than Donald Trump or Roy Moore could ever hope be.

World's greatest orator.

That quick cut to McMaster at the end made me laugh out loud.

I cannot even begin to imagine how lacking in self respect and full of self loathing you must be to work for this arrogant POS.

Trump attorney says that president is not talking about pardons, while at the same time his new spokesperson is saying he JUST had a conversation with Trump about pardons.

Courtesy of Red State:

The president in that tweet stated something that is rather unremarkable, that is, under the Constitution, Article II, Section 2, the President has the authority to pardon. But, I want to be clear on this, George, we have not, and continue to have not, conversations with the President of the United States regarding pardons. Pardons have not been discussed and pardons are not on the table. With regard to the issue of a president pardoning himself, there’s a big academic discussion going on right now, an academic debate. You’ve got Professor Tribe arguing one point, you’ve got Professor Turley arguing another point, and while it makes for interesting academic discussions, let me tell you what the legal team is not doing. We’re not researching the issue, because the issue of pardons is not on the table. There is nothing to pardon from.

Well there you go then. This is all just made up fake news that is not backed up by any fac.......wait what just happened?

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked Scaramucci why Trump tweeted about his “complete power” to pardon last week if no crimes had been committed.

“Why even talk about pardons?” Wallace wondered.

“This is one of those things about Washington, the convolution and the nature of things,” Scaramucci explained. “I’m in the Oval Office with the president last week and we were talking about that, he says he brought that up, but he doesn’t have to be pardoned, there’s nobody around him that has to be pardoned. He was just making the statement about the power of the pardon.”

“Now, all of the speculation and all of the spin is he’s going to pardon himself,” he added. “The president does not need to pardon himself. And the reason he doesn’t need to pardon himself is he hasn’t done anything wrong.”

Sooooo Mooch was in the Oval Office talking about the subject that his attorney swears has never come up?

Well good thing we got that cleared up.

By the way his Mooch guy seems to essentially see his job as similar to the job performed by the spokesman for the North Korean dictator.
In other words his Trumpiness is perfect in every way, and any claims to the contrary are to be ignored as "fake news."

Oh this should be fun.

Sean Spicer quits.

I guess Spicey did not like the news that Trump is bringing in Anthony Scaramucci to do his job.

I'm telling you right now this is just the beginning.

Remember the spokesperson for Trump's legal team also just quit.

There are also rumblings that this is a temporary position for Scaramucci and that his ultimate job trajectory has him taking over for Reince Priebus.

Shit's getting real now.

Spicey's out!

Courtesy of US News:

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will step back from giving reporters the daily press briefing and is searching for his replacement at the podium.

"We have sought input from many people as we look to expand our communications operation. As he did in the beginning, Sean Spicer is managing both the communications and press office," White House officials said in a statement Monday.

Spicer will continue to fill the duties of the communications director – a post that has been empty since the end of May after the resignation of Mike Dubke.

This is almost anti-climatic after so many weeks of talk that Spicer was about to get the old heave ho.

Apparently they have reached out to Right Wing talk radio host and Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham who clearly has the soulless eyes and lack of conscience to do the job.

However I doubt even she can keep up with the constant avalanche of lies that pours from this administration, or the bosses Twitter tantrums.

My prediction is that whoever gets the job will almost immediately regret taking it and may not last terribly long on the front firing line.

I will also have fond memories of Sean Spicer's tenure at the podium.

In fact here is perhaps my favorite White House press conference of his.

(Okay I am being told that this is a clip of Melissa McCarthy doing an SNL skit, and NOT Sean Spicer. Still my favorite though.)

Donald Trump's lawyer misrepresents James Comey's testimony to smear the former FBI director and vindicate his client.

Courtesy of The Hill:

President Trump’s private lawyer on Thursday disputed key details of former FBI Director James Comey’s bombshell under-oath testimony and attacked him for "unilaterally and surreptitiously" leaking memos recounting his conversations with the president.

Marc Kasowitz, the president’s outside attorney, said that Trump “never told” Comey that he needed his loyalty “in form or substance.”

He added that Trump "never, in form or substance, directed or suggested" that Comey should stop investigating anyone, including former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

I'm sorry did this guy not watch the same testimony that I watched?

Because in the testimony I watched Comey said that he understood Donald Trump was telling him unequivocally that he wanted him to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn.

The lawyer also accused Comey of “unilaterally and surreptitiously” leaking memos recounting his "privileged conversations" with Trump.

“He also testified that immediately after he was terminated, he authorized his friends to leak the contents of these memos to the press in order to ‘prompt the appointment of a special counsel,’” Kasowitz said.

He said there were and remain "those in government" who are committed to undermining Trump "with selective and illegal leaks of classified information" and communications.

For the record Comey only "leaked" his own unclassified notes of his own interactions with Trump.

And thanks to The Donald he is no longer employed by the Federal government so he cannot be among "those in the government" who are leaking to the press.

By the way in the tweet this lawyer sent out before his public statement he misspelled his boss's title.
If only Trump could have convinced one of those high end lawyers with good spelling to represent him.

In other news Trump's Spicey replacement spokesperson, claims that Trump is not a liar:

White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said “the president is not a liar” after former FBI director James Comey blasted the White House for telling “lies, plain and simple” about the circumstances surrounding his firing last month.

“No, I can definitively say the president is not a liar,” Sanders told reporters at the White House during an off-camera briefing Thursday. “It’s frankly insulting that that question would be asked.”

Well frankly it's insulting to be lied to by the president, or the president's surrogates, virtually every day.

And damn why does that sound so familiar?

Oh yeah! Well it certainly worked out for ole Tricky Dick, so I imagine that Trump can look forward to a similar outcome.

White House loses communications director and on the same day releases a statement that sounds suspiciously like Trump bragging about himself.

Trump whispering to White House spokesperson Hope Hicks.
So today the White House communications director, Mike Dubke, quit:

The White House communications director has resigned only three months after being hired by President Donald Trump.

This is rather big news as there has been talk for days about a shake up in the White House.

Then, suddenly, there was this off statement issued by spokeswoman Hope Hicks.

Courtesy of  WaPo:

President Trump has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000. He has built great relationships throughout his life and treats everyone with respect. He is brilliant with a great sense of humor … and an amazing ability to make people feel special and aspire to be more than even they thought possible.

Uh....WTF?

Okay look maybe Hope Hicks is such an over the moon fangirl that she actually wrote this to describe some alternate reality in which she envisions Donald Trump having these attributes.

I mean I don't know the woman, so maybe.

But the thing is that it sounds very suspiciously like the kind of statement that Trump used to make about himself back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's while pretending to be his own spokesman.

Here is what he said as "John Miller" courtesy of the Daily Wire:

“Miller” bragged, “Actresses just call to see if they can go out with him and things.” Madonna “wanted to go out with him.” “Miller” boasted that despite living with Maples, Trump had “three other girlfriends.” “Miller” told Carswell why Trump supposedly dumped Maples for the Italian model Carla Bruni, asserting, “He really didn’t want to make a commitment. He’s coming out of a marriage, and he’s starting to do tremendously well financially.”

Both Carla Bruni and Madonna denied ever wanting anything to do with Trump.

Like I said maybe this Hope Hicks woman is just that smitten with the legend that is Doanld Trump, however evidence suggests that only one that smitten with Donald Trump is in fact Donald Trump.

All I know for sure is that the very fact that we suspect that it MIGHT be coming from Trump himself, means we are very, very far down that rabbit hole.

Kellyanne Conway used to say she needed a shower after defending Donald Trump.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

The co-hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, claimed on Monday that senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway used to say she needed a shower after defending Donald Trump on air.

“This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion,” Brzezinski said. “And then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off and she would say, ‘Blech, I need to take a shower,’ because she disliked her candidate so much.”

“And also said, it was very interesting, also said that, ‘This is just like my summer in Europe,'” Scarborough said.

“I’m just doing this for the money,” Brzezinski interjected.

“‘I’ll be off this soon.’ I don’t know that she ever said ‘I’m doing this for the money,'” Scarborough said. “But she said, ‘This is just my summer vacation, my summer in Europe and basically I’m just going to get through this.'”

“‘But first I have to take a shower because it feels so dirty to be saying what I’m saying.’ I guess she’s just used to it now,” Brzezinski said.

I have no respect for people like this.

Kellyanne knew who Donald Trump was before she agreed to work for him, and she had several reasons to walk since, and yet she remains a good little soldier.

I am completely unable to defend people or policies that I do not believe in, and when people prostitute themselves like this I find it simply disgusting.

Donald Trump is a pig, and every man, and especially woman, who defends him has lowered themselves to an almost subhuman level.

I have NO idea how they live with themselves.

Several White House officials suggest that spokesperson Sean Spicer might soon be replaced with Fox News host.

Oh God, I hate my life.
Courtesy of The Hill:

President Trump has reportedly considered replacing White House press secretary Sean Spicer, and has raised a Fox News host as a possible spokesperson.

Six West Wing officials told The New York Times that the president is considering the most far-reaching shake-up of his first term after being dissatisfied with several top aides, especially Spicer.

Trump has discussed Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle as a possible press secretary, according to the Times, which noted that the president has also spent several hours with Spicer this week praising his TV "ratings" during briefings.

Yes that is what Trump does. He talks you up to your face while searching for the perfect place to insert the knife in your back.

Think James Comey.

(This by the way is not unprecedented as George W. Bush also hired Fox host Tony Snow as HIS White House spokesperson briefly in 2006.)

It also kind of makes sense as Trump tends to blame everybody but himself when things go wrong, and Spicer has been struggling to keep up with the avalanche of lies coming out of the White House and failing to do so.

It perhaps is also not helping that SNL frequently pokes fun at Spicer every chance they get.

Oh yeah, that's going to leave a mark.

Speaking of Fox News it appears that Congressman, and recent recipient of Obamacare, Jason Chaffetz might be headed to that network as well:

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) has made no public announcement about what he plans to do after finishing out his final term in Congress, but he has been telling Capitol Hill colleagues he may soon head to Fox News, the Washingtonian reported Saturday.

Two Republican lawmakers who have spoken to Chaffetz, as well as four House Republican aides, told the newspaper that he said he plans to take on a “substantial” on-air position for the conservative news channel.

This move may come as early as July, according to the report—over a year and a half before his term in Congress would end.

Why doesn't Fox News simply end the charade and publicly identify themselves as a clearing house for former and future Republican politicians and White House staff members?

I mean it's not like we actually think they are a legitimate cable news station.

White House spokesperson admits that removing James Comey was to help bring a close to the Russian investigation.

Courtesy of Death and Taxes:

“We want this to come to its conclusion, we want it to come to its conclusion with integrity,” Sanders said in regard to the bureau’s Russia investigation. “And we think that we’ve actually, by removing Director Comey, taken steps to make that happen.”

Okay when the Huckabee spawn says that they want the investigation to conclude with "integrity" that is Trump speak for they want it to conclude after finding that neither he nor his campaign did anything wrong.

Trump is on interested in the truth, Trump is interested in Trump.

By the way Trump is also frustrated that the truth keeps stepping on the lies that he and his spokespeople tell, and is nos threatening to do away with press briefings.
So to be clear is "active president" another phrase for "lying piece of shit?"

Saturday, April 22, 2017

Carl Bernstein states that the FBI believes the Trump Administration is attempting an "active coverup" to interfere with investigation into collusion with Russia.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

If Carl Bernstein knows anything, he knows how anonymous sources can reveal how a high-level criminal cover-up can take an administration down. So when he stated that the FBI had a “serious belief” that there was an “active coverup” in the alleged coordination/collusion between the Trump campaign and a Russian effort to reveal the election last night on AC360, we take notice.

In a remarkably entertaining segment pegged to a CNN’s recent report, Bernstein dropped some knowledge about FBI suspicions. According the the Watergate legend, intelligence suggests that Russia tried to use advisers of Donald Trump to penetrate the presidential campaign.

Can you believe that Jason Miller douchnozzle actually brought up Susan Rice's name?

You might remember Miller as the former Trump transition spokesman who was forced to quit his job after his affair with another Trump spokesperson came to light.

A.J. Delgado and Jason Miller, naughty, naughty, naughty.
Going back to what Carl Bernstein said that is a fairly explosive revelation and fits in well with another recent report that Trump associates had changed their behaviors when they found out about the FBI investigation.

If the FBI has evidence that they are actively involved in a coverup that could be perhaps even more damaging than the evidence of communicating with the Russians during the campaign.

Which reminds me of another lesson learned during Watergate, "It's not the crime, it's the coverup."

Donald Trump spokesperson claims that he simply does not believe that James Comey is telling the truth that Obama did not have the FBI tap his phones.

I am going to warn you ahead of time that this is going to make your damn head throb to watch this interview. If you thought Kellyanne Conway was bad, wait until you get a load of this Sarah Huckabee Sanders lunatic.

Courtesy of Politico:

President Donald Trump does not accept an assertion from FBI Director James Comey that former President Barack Obama did not order an illegal wiretap of Trump Tower during last year’s presidential campaign, a White House spokeswoman said Monday.

Asked by ABC “Good Morning America” host George Stephanopoulos if Trump was willing to accept the denial of his FBI director, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said he was not.

“You know, I don't think he does, George,” Sanders said. “I think he firmly believes that this is a storyline that has been reported pretty widely by quite a few outlets. The wiretapping has been discussed in The New York Times, BBC, Fox News and we believe that it should be looked at by the House Intelligence Committee.”

As he would wind up doing multiple times throughout their interview, Stephanopoulos interjected at that point to tell Sanders that what she had said was incorrect and that none of the media reports to which she referred actually backed up Trump’s accusation. All told, the “Good Morning America” anchor stopped Sanders five times to correct her over the course of their five-and-a-half minute interview.

I am not sure I would expect anything less from the progeny of Mike Huckabee, but that is quite a batshit laden performance right there.

I also do not think we should be surprised that Donald Trump is absolutely defiantly against admitting that he got suckered by Right Wing news outlets and does not have any real evidence that anybody actually tapped any of his phones.

Gee so I guess Trump won't be blowing any more kisses to Comey in the near future.
Isn't it a shame to see a bromance come apart like this?

By the way Jason Chaffetz, who has absolutely no intention of investigating allegations of collusion between Trump and the Russians, is chomping at the bit to go after former President Obama on this one.

"You're his spokesperson."

Martha Raddatz hit that nail square on the head.

Yes Trump DID state as a fact that President Obama had tapped his phones.

And now we know FOR A FACT that he didn't.

This accusation does not simply just go away.

Like the Washington Post stated in a recent article Trump is a conspiracy theorist president.

And that puts all of us, and I do mean ALL OF US, in grave danger.

White House policy adviser, Stephen Miller, states emphatically that Donald Trump's powers "will not be questioned."

Courtesy of Share Blue:

Donald Trump senior policy advisor Stephen Miller’s debut on the Sunday shows was rife with troubling foreshadowing, with his high-volume repetition of Trump talking points and botched invocation of Trump’s “voter fraud” lie.

There was one moment, though, which stood out for its shocking audacity: Miller explicitly told Face the Nation’s John Dickerson that Trump’s power exceeds that of the judiciary, the people of the United States, the free press, or anyone else.

Miller railed against a “supreme” judicial branch in other television appearances, but on CBS, he made Trump’s despotic ambitions explicit (emphasis added):

"The end result of this, though, is that our opponents, the media, and the whole world will soon see, as we begin to take further actions, that the powers of the president to protect our country are very substantial, and will not be questioned."

Just a reminder that Donald Trump did not run to be president.

He ran to be king.  And he will not suffer those he considers "less than" to dare question him, his authority, or his policies.

Even if they are wearing judicial robes and representing the third branch of the government.

By the way this beady eyed little shit weasel made the rounds of the Sunday talk shows, and essentially repeated the same old talking points in each and every interview.

In fact in several of the interviews it appeared that he was reading the answers off of a teleprompter:
Well good, then I wasn't just imagining it.

So gee look, yet another soulless, dead eyed, seemingly animatronic spokes-liar representing the Trump administration.

I wonder if they build these in a factory, or if they are the result of some frightening Nazi inspired biological experimentation?

New Trump team strategy, hacks happen every election period and this one did not change the outcome.

Damn do I dislike this woman!

Courtesy of The Hill:

Instead of focusing on the crux of the report — that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a multifaceted campaign aimed at helping Trump take the White House — members of the president-elect's team emphasized Russia's failure to actually disrupt the country's democracy and influence election results.

Incoming Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said Sunday he thinks Trump accepts the findings of the intelligence community.

"He is not denying that entities in Russia were behind this particular hacking campaign," Priebus told "Fox News Sunday."

But, he alleged, that's not new.

"It happens every election period," he said.

Okay that is simply not true.

But even if it were true it would not matter unless the people doing the hacking released that information out into the new media in order to benefit the candidate they wanted to win.

Here is more of Kellyanne's spin on this topic:

She said foreign entities hacking the U.S. is not new and sought to pivot from discussing election meddling, alleging that under President Obama there have been hacks of the Department of Defense and Department of State.

"Very concerning," she said of such cyber attacks on NBC's "Meet The Press," noting there was " very little punishment." Americans should know the country is "woefully unprepared for cybersecurity in the 21st century," she added.

At the same time, she maintained that Russia's attempt to meddle in the presidential race had failed.

"They did not succeed. They did not succeed to embarrassing this country on the world stage," she said.

"They did not succeed in throwing the election to Donald Trump. That's very clear in this report."

As I have mentioned before that last part is not even mentioned in the report.

So to sum up the Trump team's talking points are, there is nothing new about this, it did not change the outcome of the election, and the news media is blowing this all out of proportion.

It may be a little challenging, but remember THESE are the REPUBLICANS, talking about RUSSIA.

Russia was the GOP's go to bogeyman for decades.

But now that they have actually undermined our democratic process we get, "Move on, nothing to see here."

And they are not alone, Trump voters seem to be in total agreement:

“Sour grapes,” explained Bob Marino, 79, weighing in on the recent spycraft bombshell from the corner table of a local McDonald’s.

“Sour grapes,” agreed Roger Noel, 65, sitting next to him.

“Bunch of crybabies,” Reed Guidry, 64, offered from across the table.

But Mr. Gubert came to a different conclusion.

“If that’s what it took,” he said, “I’m glad they did it.”

And that is how America was taken over by a hostile foreign government boys and girls.

NOT after a long and destructive world war, but with a few simply hacks, a compliant media, and a complacent electorate.

Married Trump spokesman quits amid speculation that he perhaps fathered a child out of wedlock.

Courtesy of the New York Daily News:

Donald Trump’s inner circle was thrown into turmoil Saturday when his newly-named White House communications director resigned after a transition team staffer posted cryptic tweets suggesting he’s a philanderer.

Jason Miller announced that he won’t be joining the Trump administration just two days after he was tapped to lead the White House communications team.

Miller said in a statement that he wanted to spend more time with his family.

“It’s clear they need to be my top priority right now, and this is not the time to start a new job as demanding as White House communications director,” said Miller, whose wife is expecting their second child.

That is all well and good except for the fact that his resignation followed this Twitter rant from ANOTHER Trump spokesperson.

After that Delgado's Twitter account was deactivated.

Things that make you go, hmm.

Trump spokesperson claims that it was President Obama who took the country to war in Afghanistan. WTF?

(Starting at the 1:53 mark)

"Remember we were not even in Afghanistan at this time and Barack Obama went into Afghanistan creating another problem."

On Mediaite you can see video of this Katrina Pierson walking the comment back later and claiming that she was referring to Obama being responsible for the rise of ISIS, which of course is also patently false as the host Victor Blackwell attempts to explain to her.

For the record President Bush took us into Afghanistan in  2001 as a response to 9-11.

It should also be noted that Al-Qaeda was NOT "reduced to ashes" by the surge. That is Neocon propaganda.

However I will predict that in the years to come many Christian school and homeschooling textbooks will blame the Afghanistan and Iraq wars on President Obama, while painting George W. Bush as a Christian patriot who donned his mighty flight jacket to defend this nation from "Islamic terrorists."

You mark my words.

Friday, May 13, 2016

So did Donald Trump pose as his own spokesperson back in the 1990's? Certainly sounds like it.

Here is the entire Today show video from this morning.

Trump: Wow. You mean you are going so low as to talk about something that took place 25 years ago, about whether or not I made a phone call? I guess you’re saying under a presumed name.

Guthrie: Yes, under a presumed name.

Trump: Okay. The answer is no. Let’s get on to more current subjects. I know it’s wonderful for your listeners, but we have more important things to discuss.

I disagree. If a person running for President is so unhinged as to fake being an entirely different person so that he can brag about himself, without seeming arrogant (A pretense that he has completely dropped these days by the way.), I think THAT is something the voting public deserves to know.

And it appears that we actually do know that is was him.

Courtesy of the Washington Post:

A recording obtained by The Washington Post captures what New York reporters and editors who covered Trump’s early career experienced in the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s: calls from Trump’s Manhattan office that resulted in conversations with “John Miller” or “John Barron” — public-relations men who sound precisely like Trump himself — who indeed are Trump, masquerading as an unusually helpful and boastful advocate for himself, according to the journalists and several of Trump’s top aides.

So apparently in the minds of the journalists who covered him and his own top aides, there was no question that this was indeed Trump.

And that could prove problematic. Just get a load of some of the things this "spokesman" said about himself Trump:

“Actresses,” Miller said in the call to Carswell, “just call to see if they can go out with him and things.” Madonna “wanted to go out with him.” And Trump’s alter ego boasted that in addition to living with Maples, Trump had “three other girlfriends.”

Yeah that should really help Trump with the female voters.

The other Trump alias, this John Barron, is also a name that pops up quite frequently in Trump's life:

A “John Baron,” described as a “vice-president of the Trump organization,” appeared in a front-page New York Times article as early as 1980, defending Trump’s decision to destroy sculptures on the facade of the Bonwit Teller department store building, the Fifth Avenue landmark he was demolishing to make way for his Trump Tower. Barron was quoted variously as a “Trump spokesman,” “Trump executive,” or “Trump representative” in New York magazine, The Washington Post and other publications.

Trump’s fascination with the name “Barron” persisted for decades. When he was seeing Maples while still married to Ivana, he sometimes used the code name “the Baron” when he left messages for her. In 2004, when Trump commissioned a dramatic TV series based on the life of a New York real estate mogul like him, his only request to the writer was to name the main character “Barron.” And when Trump and his third wife, Melania, had a son, they named him Barron.

You know just when I think I have seen the oddest think imaginable in this election cycle, I get proven wrong.

I literally have NO idea what comes nest, but I am certain it will not be boring.

Wait, so suddenly Bristol Palin thinks Levi Johnston is a "great dad?"

Posted with the caption "This daddy makes it to every school event!" on Sunny Johnston's Facebook page
So this showed up on ET Online yesterday:

"Levi is a great dad," Palin told ET in a statement. "We have a great co-parenting relationship and Tripp loves him."

Palin's rep, David Martin, explained that his client and Johnston, also 25, are currently awaiting the court's decision to "wrap up this case."

"Child support in Alaska is calculated based on a mathematical formula in the Civil Rules. The parties are not allowed to use a different formula or forgive or excuse nonpayment," Martin said. "They are also not allowed to demand or accelerate payments. The court is charged with figuring out the amount of past child support as well as the future child support obligations."

(By the way this David Martin dude is the same guy now in charge of Bristol's Instagram account and the one that her mother clearly hired in order to gain some semblance of control over her daughter. )

Soooo, Bristol's official statement is that Levi is a "great dad."  Isn't THAT interesting?

Especially since she has spent the last seven years trying to convince the world that he is a deadbeat dad and a rapist.

And let's not forget this contrived scene from "Life's a Tripp."

I actually know some of the behind the scenes info on this episode and the facts are that Levi was contacted only about two hours before he was supposed to show up, and Rex Butler, his lawyer at the time, told him not to go as it was clearly a set up.

I don't typically agree with Rex, but this was a good call on his part as the entire episode was framed to paint Levi as a loser and a man-child who was not an active participant in his son's life.

I would remind everybody that the entire reason that Levi hired Rex Butler, and agreed to all of those magazine and television interviews, was to fight for joint custody of his son.

That is all he has ever wanted, and that is what he has spent the last seven years fighting for.

So if Bristol is now finally putting out a statement saying that Levi is not a deadbeat dad, but rather a "great" one, that is only because he finally beat her and she is essentially waving the white flag of surrender.

Radar Online calls bullshit on Bristol Palin's claims that she was never paid to be an abstinence spokesperson.

Just days after announcing her second pregnancy out of wedlock, mama bear Bristol Palin was back on the defensive, addressing the wave of critics who have called the former abstinence advocate a hypocrite in a blistering blog post. “I have never been paid as an ‘abstinence spokesperson,'” she said, although RadarOnline.com has learned she earned more than $300,000 spreading that very message.

Palin admits she was employed by “the great people at the Candies Foundation [sic],” and according to tax records obtained by Radar, she was paid $262,5000 in 2009 for her work as an advocate, and $70,000 the year after.

While Palin insists that her focus, and that of the organization’s, was simply to prevent teen pregnancy, her statements in those years were stridently pro-abstinence.

In 2009, she told Good Morning America, “regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only … 100 percent foolproof way to prevent pregnancy,” and promised a magazine in that year, “I’m not going to have sex until I’m married: I can guarantee it.”

And when Palin made an appearance with the head of the Candie’s Foundation on Greta Van Susteren‘s On The Record in 2010, Van Susteren introduced her by saying, “”Bristol is promoting abstinence for the Candie’s Foundation.” What’s more, her listing on the webpage for the Single Source Speakers Agency lists “abstinence” as the very first topic of her expertise.

This is obviously bullshit, and Bristol is an idiot to deny the facts when they are so easily to locate online.

In fact the folks at the Inquisitr have determined that Bristol made somewhere in the vicinity of one million dollars as a direct result of her time as a abstinence spokesperson.

By the way if you want to hear Bristol Palin delivering a speech to a pro-life group in 2010 as a direct result of her work as an abstinence spokesperson then here you go. (However I must warn you that she is an absolutely TERRIBLE speaker.)

You will notice that Bristol had no problem lying to these people about "accidentally" becoming pregnant when we all know that she planned that pregnancy as well.

P.S. This is the most recent post on Bristol's Instagram:

Here is what she wrote to go along with it:

AKA every negative comment on my IG 😂 .. Don't people have work? Or kids? Or hobbies other than trolling? #mustbeafulltimejob
