Trump has been accusing just about EVERYBODY else of leaking, including most recently James Comey, but in fact he and his White House staff seem to be the main source of leaks.

After all it was not James Comey or any other intelligence agency employee who told the Russians that Israel had classified information about ISIS.

Now was it?

The Obamas throw a massive going away party literally overflowing with celebrities.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a farewell party on Friday night, and celebrities flocked to the White House for the event. 

Attendees included Solange Knowles, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Jerry Seinfeld, Nick Jonas, Jordin Sparks, Usher, Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony, Jay Pharoah and Chance the Rapper, according to celebrity posts on social media.

The A-list affair stood in contrast to the upcoming inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, who has struggled to find entertainers willing to perform at the event. 

Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, George and Amal Clooney, Stevie Wonder, Robert De Niro, George Lucas, Lena Dunham, David Letterman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Rock, Tyler Perry, Jason Sudeikis, Jon Hamm and Tracy Ellis Ross were also spotted arriving, according to CNN reporter Betsy Klein.

I wonder how long the lines will be for the Trump inauguration?

That's just mean, isn't it?

The biggest celebrity filled shindig in Washington DC this month will not be the inauguration, it will be a farewell party for the Obamas.

January 2017 will definitely see an onslaught of A-list tourists at the White House. But they’re not coming for the inauguration. 

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will host a goodbye party for close friends and major donors Friday, according to a person with knowledge of the marquee affair. The Obamas themselves confirmed during an interview with People Magazine last month that they’d have one final bash at the White House. The president told a young fan that they’d have a “grown up” party before packing their bags. 

Of course, there’s no official word from the White House yet. Typically the Obama administration keeps a tight lid on celebration details until the 11th hour, releasing a just-the-facts statement the day of the event. But the big names thought to be on the guest list have been slowly trickling out this week.

Those big names are said to include Oprah, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Bradley Cooper, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Samuel L. Jackson, as well as directors George Lucas and J.J. Abrams. Among others of course.

Why do I get the feeling that Donald Trump would give his left shriveled orange nut for just one of these people to show up at his inauguration?

Damn I'm going to miss this POTUS and FLOTUS.

They have really raised the bar for class in the White House.

Too bad that bar is about to be buried along with Michelle Obama's vegetable garden after they bulldoze it and replace it with a Hugh Hefner like grotto featuring its own stripper pole. 

P.S. Of course news of this has agitated the little Tasmanian she-devil in Alaska as well.

In my opinion that is just the cherry on top.

Donald Trump attends costume party themed "Villians and Heroes" and dresses like himself. Seems right.

President-elect Donald Trump played the role of party pooper-in-chief at a swanky Saturday night costume soirée in Long Island themed “Villains and Heroes.” 

Trump showed up at the ultra-exclusive fiesta thrown by hedge fund manager Robert Mercer in a staid dark suit and checked tie. 

On his way into Mercer’s lavish Suffolk County estate, Trump was asked who he was dressed up as. 

The Republican hero pointed to himself and mouthed “me.”

I don't see how this makes Trump a "party pooper." After all when you are in fact a real life comic book supervillain why would you need to wear the costume of another comic book supervillain?

It's actually Kellyanne Conway's costume that I find ridiculous.

After all, Supergirl is a young fit superheroine from another planet sent to rescue earth from dangerous aliens and villains determined to destroy it.

On the other hand, Kellyanne is an opportunistic political operative who just helped place a dangerous villain in a position to succeed in destroying this planet.

Nothing heroic or super about that.

Now even members of Congress are calling for the removal of Judge Aaron Persky.

Members of Congress are joining a growing chorus of people demanding the removal of the judge who handed down a six-month jail sentence to a former Stanford University student who sexually assaulted an unconscious woman. 

Over 1 million people signed a petition on Change.org asking the California legislature to start impeachment proceedings for Aaron Persky, the judge in the case. Meanwhile, more than 1 million people have signed separate petitions circulated by UltraViolet and MoveOn.org to ask the California Commission on Judicial Performance to remove Persky from the bench. Organizers spoke with with sexual assault survivors in San Francisco on Friday afternoon. 

As the petitions continue to rack up signatures, prospective jurors are also boycotting serving under Judge Aaron Persky, and elected federal officials are adding their support that Persky lose his job. 

Rep. Jackie Speier, a Democrat from California who sponsored legislation to reform how sexual assaults are handled on college campuses, told The Huffington Post this week that Persky should quit. 

“I think he should resign,” Speier said. She added, however, that it’s “a decision for the voters of Santa Clara County to make.”

Of course this is just the latest news in a case that has almost completely taken over social media outlets.

Just in case you have been living in a cave and do not know the story, a Stanford University student, assaulted a female student on the ground outside of a frat party

During the trial the victim read an incredibly personal and heart churning statement to the court: 

On January 17th, 2015, it was a quiet Saturday night at home. My dad made some dinner and I sat at the table with my younger sister who was visiting for the weekend. I was working full time and it was approaching my bed time. I planned to stay at home by myself, watch some TV and read, while she went to a party with her friends. Then, I decided it was my only night with her, I had nothing better to do, so why not, there’s a dumb party ten minutes from my house, I would go, dance like a fool, and embarrass my younger sister. On the way there, I joked that undergrad guys would have braces. My sister teased me for wearing a beige cardigan to a frat party like a librarian. I called myself “big mama”, because I knew I’d be the oldest one there. I made silly faces, let my guard down, and drank liquor too fast not factoring in that my tolerance had significantly lowered since college. 

The next thing I remember I was in a gurney in a hallway. I had dried blood and bandages on the backs of my hands and elbow. I thought maybe I had fallen and was in an admin office on campus. I was very calm and wondering where my sister was. A deputy explained I had been assaulted. I still remained calm, assured he was speaking to the wrong person. I knew no one at this party. When I was finally allowed to use the restroom, I pulled down the hospital pants they had given me, went to pull down my underwear, and felt nothing. I still remember the feeling of my hands touching my skin and grabbing nothing. I looked down and there was nothing. The thin piece of fabric, the only thing between my vagina and anything else, was missing and everything inside me was silenced. I still don’t have words for that feeling. In order to keep breathing, I thought maybe the policemen used scissors to cut them off for evidence.

Despite the fact that the statement left the courtroom in tears, the Judge Aaron Persky, a former student at Stanford himself,  only gave the attacker, Brock Turner, a six month sentence because "A prison sentence would have a severe impact on him."

As you might imagine outrage has been sweeping the nation ever since, and it is only growing in intensity, and will likely see this judge lose his job.

Which seems more than fair.

Just yesterday the Daily Mail revealed that not only did this Brock Turner drug and rape this young woman, he also sent nude pictures of her to his friends:Stanford rapist Brock Turner sent a photo of his victim's breasts to friends after the attack outside a frat house party.

To be honest since this was receiving so much attention I was going to take a pass on covering it.

But the more I read, the angrier I became, and I eventually realized that it is a story that really everybody needs to publicize in order to help send a message to punk kids like this Brock Turner, and incompetent judges like this Aaron Persky, that the world is watching you.

And that world demands justice.

Hillary Clinton responds to charges by top aide to Bernie Sanders that her ambition might "destroy the Democratic party."

Hillary often gets criticized for her laugh, but in this case I thought it was well justified.

A top aide to Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders warned late Tuesday that rival Hillary Clinton is running a divisive campaign that is hurting party unity. 

"Don't destroy the Democratic Party to satisfy the secretary's ambitions to become president of the United States," Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told CNN. 

"We want to have a party at the end of this that we can unify," he added.

This is an amazing statement.

First off Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat, he is simply cloaking himself in democratic camouflage in order to run in our primary.

Secondly MANY of Sanders' supporters are also not Democrats and, as many have claimed, may not even vote along party lines if Sanders does not win the nomination.

And thirdly, for all intents and purposes Hillary and Bill Clinton ARE the Democratic party in the eyes of many of us who lived through the 1990's and the Clinton administration.

Yes President Obama has helped to reshape the party platform to some degree, but the heart of the Democratic party still beats to the same rhythm it did when Bill and Hillary occupied the White House.

To put it simply Hillary Clinton IS the Democrat in this race.

And as much as we may agree with him on many of his ideas, Bernie Sanders is not.

The Republicans don't let a little thing like voting to shutdown the government interfere with their need to P-A-R-T-A-Y!

Maybe it was the alcohol, or the late hour, or maybe the House Republicans have just completely lost their minds. On Saturday night, while they were trying to come up with some kind of magic bullet to kill Obamacare, they decided that not only were they going to shut down the government, but now they have added a “conscience clause” to the spending bill which takes away preventative care from women, which includes birth control. 

Under Obamacare rules, birth control is free with most providers, but apparently the House Repubs have decided that the reproductive rights of American women are better off in their control. Yeah, so basically the GOP is saying that it doesn’t want the government involved in your health care…unless it’s a birth control issue, of course. 

And before you go thinking that this attack on women was the only outrageous thing they did Saturday night, hold on, I’m afraid I have more to report. Friday afternoon, Republican John Culberson from TX got huge applause from his colleagues when he compared the GOP’s effort to destroy Obamacare to the heroes of 9/11. Culberson compared the House Repubs to the passengers on United Flight 93 who overtook the terrorists and got control of the plane on 9/11. Yes, Seriously. 

And all of this was BEFORE they started drinking! As the evening wore on, reporters on the House floor were tweeting about the smell of booze in the room and obnoxious behavior more and more. Now, we all would expect that sort of thing from Boehner. I mean, come on, it was Saturday night, he’s John Boehner, of course he would be drunk….and orange. But I must admit that even I am a bit shocked that the others were hitting the bottle.

And JUST when I thought my opinion of the Republican party could simply not get any lower.

Look I don't like to give unsolicited parenting advice as a rule (Though I don't think I can think of too many people who need it more.), but there is actually NO age that Tripp could reach which would make it appropriate for him to go on a "girl date" with his mom and her friends. Especially if there were any drinking or questionable activity going on.

I mean if this is simply an immature way of saying that the family is going out for a sit down dinner to celebrate, that is one thing, but if it is something else then it is yet ANOTHER example of the same poor Palin parenting that we have seen on at least three different reality shows thus far.

He should either spend the evening with his father or with a family member who is not involved in any "girl dating."

Just my opinion.

Anyhow I hope that as Willow gets older she starts considering her future which I really hope includes writing her own tell all book at some point.
