Republican Joe Arpaio, a close ally of President Trump and former sheriff known for his provocative approach to combatting illegal immigration, is running for Senate in Arizona. 

The 85-year-old Arpaio could shake up the late August Republican primary in a critical open-seat race to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz. Trump pardoned Arpaio last summer, sparing the former sheriff jail time after he was convicted of ignoring a federal court order in a racial-profiling case. 

The polarizing yet iconic former Maricopa County sheriff, beloved by many conservatives for his hawkish immigration policies, presents an alternative to the unimpressive Kelli Ward and a potential obstacle to Rep. Martha McSally. She is expected to launch within days and is widely viewed as the Republicans’ strongest general election candidate. 

In a telephone interview with the Washington Examiner, Arpaio shrugged off concerns about his age, dismissed Republican insiders’ anxiety that his poor reputation with nonwhite voters would put the seat in play for the Democrats in the midterm, and discussed plans to work with Trump on behalf of Arizona. 

“I have a lot to offer. I’m a big supporter of President Trump,” Arpaio said. “I’m going to have to work hard; you don’t take anything for granted. But I would not being doing this if I thought that I could not win. I’m not here to get my name in the paper, I get that everyday, anyway.”

Renowned racist, convicted in a court of law, pardoned by an equally racist president, and now running to represent Arizona in the Senate.

Could only happen in Trump's America.

I actually hopes that he wins the nomination, and then loses spectacularly to his Democratic opponent.

A federal judge has ruled that President Donald Trump's pardon of former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio ends his prosecution for criminal contempt of court, but does not wipe out the guilty verdict she returned or any other rulings in the case. 

In her order Thursday, Phoenix-based U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton rejected arguments from Arpaio's lawyers and Justice Department prosecutors that the longtime Maricopa County sheriff was entitled to have all rulings in the case vacated, including the guilty verdict the judge delivered in July after a five-day trial. 

“The power to pardon is an executive prerogative of mercy, not of judicial recordkeeping," Bolton wrote, quoting an appeals court ruling. "To vacate all rulings in this case would run afoul of this important distinction. The Court found Defendant guilty of criminal contempt. The President issued the pardon. Defendant accepted. The pardon undoubtedly spared Defendant from any punishment that might otherwise have been imposed. It did not, however, 'revise the historical facts' of this case."

Well good for his judge!

Arpaio is a racist POS and just because he has a fellow racist POS buddy in a high place does NOT mean he gets to pretend that he is not a criminal.

Fresh off a presidential pardon, America’s most infamous lawman is coming to California this week as part of an effort to re-enter the political arena. 

“Don’t think I’m going fishing,” Joe Arpaio, the 85-year-old former Maricopa County sheriff, said in an interview with the Bay Area News Group. “I am not going away.” 

Arpaio, whose hard-line immigration policies divided the country and led to his own criminal conviction, is speaking at a Republican fundraising dinner in Fresno on Friday, an appearance that has local police bracing for protests and some GOP officials staying far away. 

“Sheriff Joe” was thrust back into the national spotlight last month when he received a pardon from President Donald Trump. He was convicted of contempt of court earlier this year, with a judge finding that he had violated court orders to stop detaining suspected undocumented immigrants in Arizona’s Maricopa County, which includes metro Phoenix. The pardon saved him from a possible sentence of six months in prison. 

In an interview on Tuesday afternoon, Arpaio, who lost re-election in November after 24 years in office, said the Fresno event was an example of his renewed “mission” to fight for conservative ideas around the country. That includes, he said, his continuing (and widely debunked) effort to prove that former President Barack Obama’s birth certificate is fake.

My father used to say that there are some people "too mean to die."

Whenever I think of Arpaio that quote comes to mind.

It's like at 85 years old it is only pure hate that keeps him ticking.

He is a vile POS so it is no surprise that Donald Trump went out of his way to rescue him from a prison sentence.

Charlotte mayoral candidate lists being "white" as one of her qualifications for office.

A Charlotte mayoral candidate wants people to know that she’s Republican, smart – and white. 

“VOTE FOR ME!” Kimberley Paige Barnette posted on Facebook. “REPUBLICAN & SMART, WHITE, TRADITIONAL.” 

Barnette, who turned 53 on Friday, is a former Mecklenburg County magistrate making her first run for office. 

She could not be immediately reached. 

In a WTVI debate last month, Barnette criticized last September’s Charlotte protesters. She called the protests “an expression of Democratic behavior.” 

Asked how the city could help its lower-income residents, Barnette said, “I don’t think we should encourage more lower-income people to (come to) Charlotte.” 

“We should attract higher-income people.”

In case you missed it, "higher-income" is shorthand for not a brown person.

I don't really want to judge people on their looks, but I am pretty sure I saw that same face stirring a cauldron during a Shakespearean play I watched one time.

But hey, she's white so who cares?

This is now apparently Trump's America where being white is really the only qualification one needs for success.

Breitbart fires writer for making inflammatory tweet in response to London's attack. The catch? She has been making inflammatory tweets for years.

Katie McHugh, the Breitbart writer who tweeted a number of incendiary remarks in the immediate aftermath of the London terror attack, is no longer with the right-wing news site, four sources familiar with the situation told CNN. 

Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow announced McHugh's departure internally Monday morning. After this article was initially published, McHugh herself confirmed she was out, tweeting, "Breitbart News fired me for telling the truth about Islam and Muslim immigration" and posting a link to a fundraising page started to support her on the fringe right website WeSearchr. 

McHugh had ignited controversy on Saturday night when she wrote on Twitter that "there would be no deadly terror attacks in the U.K. if Muslims didn't live there." 

"You're a real moron," actor Pej Vahdat replied. 

"You're an Indian," shot back McHugh, incorrectly identifying the ethnicity of Vahdat, who is Iranian-American.

Seems pretty cut and dried, right?

I mean after all Breitabart cannot defend having such an Islamophobic racist white nationalist on their payroll.

The problem is that this McHugh woman has been an Islamophobic, racist, white nationalist all along.

A white racist accused of fatally stabbing a 66-year-old stranger on a Manhattan street because he was black says he'd intended it as "a practice run" in a mission to deter interracial relationships. 

James Harris Jackson, 28, spoke with a reporter for the Daily News at New York City's Rikers Island jail complex. 

He said he envisioned a white woman thinking: "Well, if that guy feels so strongly about it, maybe I shouldn't do it." 

The victim, Timothy Caughman, who was remembered as a gentleman and a good neighbor, was alone and collecting bottles for recycling last week when he was attacked from behind with a sword. He staggered, bleeding, into a police station and later died at a hospital. 

Jackson was in court Monday, as prosecutors charged him with murder as an act of terrorism in addition to the murder as a hate crime charge he'd already been facing. Jackson did not speak, and his attorney had no comment.

A man travels to New York with the expressed intent of terrorizing people into changing how they live and who they love, through an act of murder.

If that is not terrorism I don't know what is. 

And yet the man who ran for office on the promise of protecting this country from terrorism says nothing.

Is it because this man has the wrong color skin to fit into Trump's idea of what a terrorist should look like? Or because banning Muslims would have done nothing to stop his attack?

“I voted for Trump — so there,” the woman shouted. “You want to kick me out for that? And look who won.” 

The angry shopper claimed she had been discriminated against because she was white and had voted for Trump in the lengthy rant recorded Wednesday at Michael’s in the city’s Lakeview neighborhood. 

The woman, who has not been identified, noticed other customers had pulled out their phones to record her harangue, which witnesses said went on for more than a half hour, and she angrily confronted the woman whose video went viral. 

“I don’t know what you think you’re videoing, lady,” the woman says. “I was just discriminated against by two black women, and you being a white woman, you’re literally thinking that that’s okay? You standing there with your baby thinking that’s okay.”

Kind of reminds me of that guy on the plane from yesterday. 

Look I know that this is probably a little unfair to find these videos and use them to illustrate the average Trump voter.

However having said that perhaps a Trump supporter should attempt to get themselves videotaped doing something nice for a minority, or helping an elderly person who just lost their Medicare across the street, or perhaps just acting like a rational human being?

Because all they seem to be doing right now is confirming that the majority of Trump voters are indeed "deplorable."

It looks like Sarah Palin's boyfriend Joe Arpaio might be prosecuted for criminal contempt of court.

Anthony Senecal, who worked as Donald Trump's butler for 17 years before being named the in-house historian at the tycoon's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, has repeatedly published posts on his Facebook page that express profound hatred for President Barack Obama and declare he should be killed. 

On Wednesday, Senecal put up a post that read: 

To all my friends on FB, just a short note to you on our pus headed "president" !!!! This character who I refer to as zero (0) should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term !!!!! Instead he still remains in office doing every thing he can to gut the America we all know and love !!!!! Now comes Donald J Trump to put an end to the corruption in government !!!! The so called elite, who are nothing but common dog turds from your front lawn are shaking in their boots because there is a new Sheriff coming to town, and the end to their corruption of the American people (YOU) is at hand !!!! Reality TV star turned 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump is fast becoming a favorite with America’s white supremacists and hate groups. Trump’s claim that Mexican immigrants are “rapists” and criminals lost him his jobs at NBC and Univision, but it earned him the support of neo-Nazis and racist bloggers across the country, including a leader of the group allegedly cited by South Carolina church shooter Dylann Roof as inspiration. 

White supremacist blogger Andrew Anglin of the website The Daily Stormer posted his “official endorsement” of Trump for president on Sunday, noting that the former Apprentice star “is willing to say what most Americans think: it’s time to deport these people [Hispanic immigrants]. He is also willing to call them out as criminal rapists, murderers and drug dealers.” In another post, Anglin commends Trump for his refusal to “back down from factual statements about Mexican rapists”. Anglin did not respond to multiple interview requests, but was profiled by Vocativ in 2014. 

Another of Trump’s supporters is Kyle Rogers, a member of the Council of Conservative Citizens, the hate group authorities say inspired Roof to murder nine at a historic black church in South Carolina earlier this month. Rogers was hocking Donald Trump 2016 tee-shirts to nearly 40,000 followers on Twitter last week. His account is no longer active. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Rogers has been an active member of South Carolina’s Republican Party for nearly a decade and held a position on the Dorcester County Republican’s Executive Committee. 

Well there you go Trump, these are clearly your people.

The Ku Klux Klan will hold a rally at the South Carolina State House next month to protest efforts to remove the Confederate flag from the Capitol grounds.

Any group can request to hold a rally at the State House as long as its grounds are available, said Brian Gaines, a spokesman for the South Carolina Budget and Control Board. 

The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan requested the rally from 3 to 5 p.m. on July 18, Gaines said. The Klan is expecting 100 to 200 to attend, according to a copy of its state event form. 

Calling itself the "Largest Klan in America," the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan are based in Pelham, N.C., according to the group's website.

Well now that Trump recognizes his demographic he could probably raise a pretty tidy sum selling confederate battle flag t-shirts and KKK tote bags on his campaign website. 

And if those items are manufactured in the same place as his clothing line well.....

"The Apprentice" is no more, as NBC cuts ties with Donald Trump over racist remarks. Update!

NBC has cut ties with business mogul Donald Trump, whose show "The Apprentice" has aired on the network since 2004, over Trump's recent derogatory statements about immigrants. 

According to a statement, the network is "ending its business relationship" with Trump, noting the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants and "The Apprentice" will no longer air on NBC. 

While announcing his candidacy in the 2016 GOP presidential primary race, Trump bashed Mexican immigrants, calling some "rapists." 

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you," Trump said. "They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Well good for NBC!

It is well past time that this bloviating asshole paid for the crap he says. 

If he keeps this up by the time his campaign finally crashes and burns he will end up penniless and reviled by everybody.

Update: Get this, Trump is suggesting that NBC is doing this because they want him to do "The Apprentice" instead of running for President.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is asking the public to help pay the legal bills he accrued for being a racist.

With his legal fees mounting and a trial turning increasingly personal, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is turning to the public for money and the legal system for a new judge. 

Arpaio said in a letter to supporters that he doesn't have the money to continue paying for attorneys out of his own pocket, adding that he feels "targeted" by the immigration rights groups that have sued him to stop what they say are racist policies targeting Latinos. 

"In some instances I have to personally pay for attorneys to represent me in these cases," Arpaio wrote in an email Thursday. "I do not have the personal wealth or the wherewithal to keep up with the costly demands of paying for attorneys to defend me." 

Arpaio made the plea while awaiting a decision by U.S. District Judge G. Murray Snow on whether the sheriff broke the law in failing to carry out a 2011 court order to refrain from bias against minorities.

Gee what a shame.

Well I am sure that there are plenty of racists in the country who will be more than willing to send Arpaio some money.

Maybe he can get a loan from his friend Sarah Palin?

 After all she just saved a ton of money on a wedding.

Fox News affiliate "apologizes" for selectively editing and misrepresenting protester's chants to make it seem they were calling for the murder of police officers.

A Baltimore Fox affiliate station apologized to a Black Lives Matter protester on Monday after the station deceptively edited a chant by protesters to say “Kill a cop.” 

According to Talking Points Memo, the chant, led by protester Tawanda Jones, actually said, “We won’t stop, we can’t stop, ’til killer cops, are in cell blocks.” 

On Monday, Gawker noted the deceptive editing, juxtaposing Baltimore Fox station WBFF’s footage against actual footage from the protest event, which the site acquired via C-SPAN. 

The Fox station apologized to the protesters and to Jones both on its Facebook page and in an interview with Jones. 

The Facebook post claimed that the station’s engineers misheard what the protesters were chanting and called it an “honest misunderstanding.”

"Honest misunderstanding?"  Seriously?

As I reported before it appears that the Fox affiliate went out of their way to make the protesters appear scary and bent on violence.

Below you can see the interview with Tawanda Jones, during which the affiliate plays an unedited video of her chants, which is NOT the same footage shown on WBFF originally which also featured a voice over completely misrepresenting what she was saying, and then attempts to make it sound like it was an honest mistake.

It clearly wasn't.

In the category of "This should not be news to anybody" a recent Nielson poll tells us that only 1% of Fox News viewers are black. What, that many?

Nielsen’s annual look at the racial breakdown of cable news viewers has arrived and once again there are some seriously sharp difference between the big three networks when it comes to the diversity of their viewers. 

During the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m., MSNBC’s audience is 24% black, CNN’s audience is 16% black and Fox News’ audience is just 1% black. By comparison MSNBC’s primetime audience is 67% white while CNN’s is 73% white and Fox News’ is 92% white. 

Gee I don't know why this would be unless of course it is somehow connected to the fact that the network made a hero out of George Zimmerman, have been attacking the first black president since before he even took the oath of office, took the side of Darron Wilson in the Michael Brown shooting, and was among those blaming the recent shootings of the NYPD cops on protesters.

It could also be due to their ties to a well known racist organization.

The Republican party.

“The Motor City Madman” had been schedule to perform for Couer D’Alene Casino in Worley, Idaho on Aug. 4 until the Southern Poverty Law Center caught tribal officials by asking for a comment on Monday. Later that day, the performance had been canceled. 

“I take it as a badge of honor that such unclean vermin are upset by me and my positive energy,” Nugent told Gannett Wisconsin Media on Tuesday. Put your heart and soul into everything you do and nobody can stop you. Sometimes you give the world the best you got and you get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you got anyway.” 

“By all indicators, I don’t think they actually qualify as people, but there has always been a lunatic fringe of hateful, rotten, dishonest people that hate happy, successful people,” he continued. “I believe raising hell and demanding accountability from our elected employees is Job One for every American. Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy wonders if the "Negro" was better off as a slave picking cotton.

For now, Mr. Bundy appears to have won, forcing the government to back down after its rangers were met with armed Bundy supporters this month. 

“The gather is now over,” said Craig Leff, a deputy assistant director with the Bureau of Land Management. “Our focus is pursuing this matter administratively and judicially.” 

But if the federal government has moved on, Mr. Bundy — a father of 14 and a registered Republican — has not. 

He said he would continue holding a daily news conference; on Saturday, it drew one reporter and one photographer, so Mr. Bundy used the time to officiate at what was in effect a town meeting with supporters, discussing, in a long, loping discourse, the prevalence of abortion, the abuses of welfare and his views on race. 

“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do. 

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

Well what do you know?  The anti-government scofflaw is a racist.

The remarks brought about a quick rebuke from Chandler Smith, a spokesperson for Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV). Heller had previously called Bundy and his supporters “patriots” for their actions and challenged Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) description of them as “domestic terrorists.” 

Smith told the Times that Heller “completely disagrees with Mr. Bundy’s appalling and racist statements, and condemns them in the most strenuous way.” 

Bundy’s speech also seemingly derailed Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott’s (R) apparent attempt to link his gubernatorial campaign to the Bunkerville camp; Abbott had allegedly written a letter to the BLM accusing it of “threatening” to seize land along the Red River in northern Texas. 

But after being contacted regarding the rancher’s “Negro” remarks, a spokesperson for Abbott was quoted as saying that Abbott’s letter “was regarding a dispute in Texas and is in no way related to the dispute in Nevada.”

Well it looks like this thing might have played itself out.

Unless of course the majority of his supporters are just as racist as he is.

So as you all know Nugent cancelled a planned interview with Burnett the night that his "mongrel" reference concerning President Obama got national attention, and he was called out for using language similar to what the Nazis used to dehumanize the Jews during the Holocaust by Wolf Blitzer.

Apparently being called a coward by just about everybody, and having even many former conservative supporters turn on him, proved too much for Nugent and he decided to risk showing his hateful mug on cable news again.

The interview starts off with Burnett asking him if he really meant his apology to the President.

Of course Nugent cannot bring himself to give a straight answer so he starts off by suggesting that Burnett's ability to comprehend English is flawed:

Erin, come on. You've got this English language down really well. I bet you understand when the question is, do you apologize and I answer yes. 

You don't really have to ask that question again, do you?

Burnett then plays a tape of, first Ted Nugent using the term "mongrel" to insult the President, and then Obama using the word to describe  how ethnically mixed the American people are these days, because Nugent had used that comparison to defend his racist remarks.

As the interview proceeds Nugent continues to demonstrate an adversarial attitude and at one point claims to have been responsible for getting Piers Morgan thrown off CNN and essentially threatens Burnett with the same: 

NUGENT:But for anyone to claim that I am a racist or it had racist overtones is the typical crap that the propaganda ministry and the media, particularly most of your cohorts there, even though I got Piers Morgan's ass thrown out, and I'll do the same with Don Lemon and Wolf Blitzer when I can... 

BURNETT: All right, don't... 

NUGENT: But you might be able to stay on... 

BURNETT: - just do me a favor, don't talk about my colleagues that way... 

NUGENT: - because I appreciate that. 

BURNETT: I respect them both greatly. But let me... 

NUGENT: Well, I just - I just did. They don't deserve respect.

God this guy is an arrogant prick.

Later Burnett shows a clip of Nugent referring to the President as a "chimpanzee" to which Nugent claims he calls everybody a chimpanzee: 

Do you really think that I referenced any race as a primate? 

I call my buddies in my band chimpanzees when they miss a good guitar lick. Come on, give me a break on that. Now, I referenced no racial overturns there whatsoever. I was referencing people who would look in the camera with those four dead Americans in Benghazi and refuse to be accountable and say, what difference does it make?

Yeah, okay.

Burnett next calls Nugent out for calling Hillary Clinton the C word, to which Poopy pants decides to compare himself to the great Richard Pryor, and says it should be okay because Bill Maher called "the great" Sarah Palin the same thing.

However he then claims that in deference to the wishes of his family he is no longer going to call people names.

Oh yeah, does anybody think that is even a possibility for this trash talking racist has been?

I will hand it to Erin Burnett however, she did an excellent job of holding Nugent's feet to the fire concerning several of his racist and misogynistic remarks.

White supremacist, and recurring guest on CNN and Nancy Grace, says that "The only time a black life is validated is when a white man kills him." Well, isn't that special.

Audio of outrageous comments made by Frank Taaffe, on a weekly podcast called ‘Stand Our Ground,’ prove that in spite of denials to the contrary, Taaffe is a full blown white supremacist. Taaffe’s podcast was produced and distributed by ‘The White Voice Network.‘ 

Here are just a few of Taaffe’s podcast comments: 

‘The only time a black life is validated is when a white man kills him.’ 

“That minority group, they don’t do anything productive for this country, except for the NBA.” 

“If it wasn’t for the NBA Joe like I always say, the country would have the tallest garbage men. Thank God for the NBA.” 

“I always say if you lie down with dogs, you’re going to get up with fleas – especially if they’re black dogs.” 

“Yeah she’s a nigg** (Oprah Winfrey). She keeps spewing out all that bullshit. She Keeps defending her boy Obama, who can do no wrong. You know it’s birds of a feather they flock together and stick together and to me she’s a NIGG**, Oprah Winfrey is a NIGG**.”

Seriously which respectable news outlet would put this guy on their show.

Well apparently quite a few, including Dr. Drew, CNN, and Nancy Grace.

Why? Well as it turns out he is apparently a friend of George Zimmerman.  

Taaffe, supposedly a neighbor and close friend of George Zimmerman, became a regular on cable TV stations during the Zimmerman trial. He is best known for his many appearances on CNN and HLN’s ‘Nancy Grace,’ and ‘Dr. Drew.’ As a guest on the Nancy Grace show, Taaffe argued in defense of George Zimmerman, during the Trayvon Martin murder trial.

A "close friend"  to George Zimmerman? Now why doesn't that surprise me?

Now you would think, considering what a pig this guy is, that after the Zimmerman trial this guy would be cut lose immediately. But you would be wrong.  

Even after the Zimmerman trial ended, however, cable programs continue to give Taaffe air time. During the trial of Michael Dunn, a white man, who, like Zimmerman, shot and killed an unarmed black teenager, Taaffe was invited on cable tv shows, to share his views on the Dunn case.

Gee I wonder what a white supremacist believes about a man who shot an unarmed teenager over the issue of loud music?

It is pretty much what you would expect:

Taaffe's task is defending Dunn, who shot 17-year-old Jordan Davis outside of a Jacksonville gas station after arguing with the teen and his friends over loud music. Dunn claims he saw Davis holding what looked like a shotgun and that he fired at the boys in self-defense, but witnesses maintain that Davis was unarmed. On air, Taaffe has argued that the killing was justified, even if Davis wasn't pointing a firearm, because young black men are prone to violence. 

Yes of course "everybody" knows that black men are violent, so apparently simply shooting them dead  to prevent that violence from occurring makes perfect sense.

Frank Taaffe, was the man that George Zimmerman stayed with while he was waiting to be arrested for the shooting of Trayvon Martin, and he was the one that he asked to go to the media and speak on his behalf.

I think that speaks volumes as to who Gerorge Zimmerman is, and how he views people like Trayvon Martin.
