The multiple ways that the Trump Administration is destroying Obamacare from within.

The Trump administration said it cut the navigator programs because recipients had not met previous enrollment goals (PDF). But navigators say this deliberately ignores the work they do, from educating people about their health care options to convincing those they do enroll to persuade others to do the same. For them, the dialing-back of the program reeks of a White House trying to gut a law they couldn’t legislatively undo. 

And they have a case. While the funding cuts to the navigator program were draconian, they were also just the latest in a months-long effort to unwind Obamacare. To date: 

• The president has signed executive orders weakening the mandates requiring individuals to purchase insurance. 
• His administration has ended contracts with firms who have provided in-person assistance to states using healthcare.gov. 
• The Department of Health and Human Services has produced videos designed to undermine public support for Obamacare while using funds that were appropriate to help promote the law. 
• HHS has reconfigured its website to make enrollment information harder to access. 
• There has been little apparent effort to engage non-government partners that have worked in the past to reach uninsured populations. 
• And at the end of August, CMS announced that it would slash funds for marketplace outreach by 90 percent. 
• Even more recently, the HHS decided not to participate in pre-enrollment events with a health advocacy groups. 
• Additionally, HHS announced that it will shut down the federal exchange site for 12 hours for all but one Sunday during the open enrollment season.

Trump may feel that he is only damaging Obama's legacy with these actions, but "proving" that the Affordable Care Act is broken and does not function properly.

But there are real Americans lives that will be lost through these actions, and he clearly does not give a shit about any of them.

All this tangerine tinted asshole cares about is getting payback, and he does not care how many people have to suffer of die while he gets it.

The Right Wing is freaked out that Barack Obama may be functioning as a "shadow president" and undermining Donald Trump.

Fringe media supporting President Donald Trump have claimed that former President Barack Obama violated federal law and is acting as a “shadow president” because he has talked to former and current foreign leaders since the end of his presidency. The claims, which have at least partially been parroted on Fox News, are an extension of conservative media’s ongoing conspiracy theory that Obama runs a “shadow government.” 

Since Trump’s inauguration, conservative outlets have baselessly claimed that Obama is running some kind of “shadow government,” a conspiracy theory which has since been invoked by a Republican congressman and by one of Trump’s attorneys. The right-wing hysteria took on a new level of feverishness after Obama met with a handful of former and current world leaders, some of whom he worked closely with as president. 

Pro-Trump fake news purveyors were quick to attack Obama for his post-presidency activities. Several websites, including American Today, Patriots On The Right, US Postman, and USA Daily Time, claimed in June that Obama was “undermining President Trump” while “advertis[ing]” his “shadow government.” They suggested that Obama had “committed treason” and “violated” the Logan Act, a law barring private citizens from interfering with American foreign policy and for which no one has ever been prosecuted. The Federalist Tribune and The Washington Feed also asserted that Obama would get “a lengthy jail sentence” as a consequence of the law. Eventually, more fake news purveyors continued to push the false narrative, with Mad World News, USA Newsflash, GOP The Daily Dose, The Angry Patriot, Global Politics Now, Freedom Daily, US Advisor, ENH, and Before It’s News joining in. 

Additionally, “alt-right”-affiliated Infowars and fake news purveyors Conservative Fighters, TruthFeed, and Red Rock Tribune hyped a Daily Caller piece suggesting Obama was a “shadow president.” “Alt-right”-affiliated The Gateway Pundit also called Obama a “shadow president” who “may be breaking the Logan Act.” 

As you might imagine Sarah Palin also jumped on this bandwagon with both feet. First off the only person undermining Donald Trump's presidency right now, is Donald Trump.

The guy is like an unhousebroken monkey climbing the curtains and crapping all over everything.

To blame former President Obama for what is happening is both sad and pathetic.

Secondly damn do I hope that Obama is out there mending fences and explaining to the leaders of other countries that this orange tinted asshole does NOT represent the majority of the American people.

We need a good will ambassador right now like never before, and let's face it, who better than Barack Obama?

John Boehner goes to Israel. And then joins Ted Cruz in announcing that "the world is on fire."

So after Beohner invited Netanyahu to speak before Congress, without notifying the White House, Netanyahu returned the favor by inviting the giant Oompa Loompa to travel to Israel.

While there Bohner made the following histrionic statement: 

“I wouldn’t have believed that I would be involved in as much foreign policy as I am today,” Boehner said in his hotel near Jerusalem’s Old City. “And it certainly isn’t by choice. It’s just that the world is on fire. And I don’t think enough Americans or enough people in the administration understand how serious the problems that we’re facing in the world are.” 

Yeah you know who else cannot believe that Boehner  has injected himself into foreign policy? The American people.

And Boehner's constant undermining of the President places our country, and in fact the entire world in danger.

Yes indeed we are facing some very serious problems today, and a truckload of those problems can be traced right back to the Republican led Congress.

How interesting that Boehner now adopts the same language used by the most melodramatic attention seeker in his party, Ted Cruz, who famously used that "world on fire" line to frighten a small child.

Apparently the line between the irrational rabid Right Wing and the so-called GOP establishment is becoming less and less defined.
