Bristol Palin has always said her one-year-old daughter Sailor Grace is her husband Dakota Meyer's mini-me, and now she's proud to note that their newborn Atlee Bay looks just like her.
The 26-year-old mom took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo of Sailor when she was a baby alongside an image of two-month-old Atlee, who was born in May.
'Not even sorta kinda alike,' she wrote, adding that Sailor is a 'mini Dakota' while Atlee is a 'Palin baby'.
And while they are both adorable, the sisters, who are just a little over a year apart, do appear to have very different features.
At this point I am not sure if Bristol is just trolling IMers, or if she is simply trying to get out ahead of folks pointing this out for themselves.
You probably don't have to be a card carrying IMer to remember that there was quite a controversy surrounding when little Sailor was born.
And exactly who was the actual father.
So why would Bristol open that can of worms all over again?
After all we know she knows about the controversy, because she responded to it.
So what is it?
Is she feeling neglected? Is she feeling bored? Or is there perhaps another reason?
Update: By the way the Grizzled Mama is also promoting this article.

E Online writes a gushy happy birthday post to Bristol Palin consisting mostly of information from her Instagram account. Have your vomit bags ate the ready.
Courtesy of E Online:
As the famous daughter to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin celebrates her birthday Tuesday, it's impossible not to highlight the past 12 months that have been filled with milestones and memorable moments.
Shortly before celebrating Christmas, Bristol welcomed a beautiful baby girl into her family. "My sweet Sailor Grace was born yesterday, our family couldn't be more complete," she shared from the hospital. "My heart just doubled."
The article then skims the surface of Bristol's custody battle with Levi, but completely glosses over her court battle with Dakota to first establish that the baby was his, and then his fight to get some kind of custody.
Bristol would address the development in a lengthy Instagram post. "These babies are my world and I will always be doing what is best for them. Every child deserves two loving parents, so I will continue to encourage that no matter what. I have never, and will never, keep them from having a positive relationship with their fathers," she wrote. "I did not 'lose' any custody case—my son has always spent most of his time with me and he will continue to do so, he is happy, healthy, and knows both of his parents love him."
Ultimately, everything changed when Bristol said "I Do" to her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dakota Meyer in June.
"We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!" the couple announced to Entertainment Tonight. "Hard work and God's grace are the foundation of our new life together, and with the love and support of our family we know we can get through anything."
As all of you here know that custody battle with Levi was ugly as hell, and the only reason that he ended up with what he did is because she was freaked out by the fact that he might start going to the media. In the end she acquiesced to his demands just to get him to stop talking to me.
(Which of course he did. Probably.)
As for Dakota well she just pulled a reverse Donald Trump on him and grabbed him with her.....uh....what are we calling it these days? Kitty cat?
Now hat she has him safely..uh..kitty cat whipped, she can go on and pretend this was the plan all along.
The article then refers to a number of Bristol's Instagram posts insisting that everything is perfect in her sad little life, and ends with this completely nonsensical quote which she undoubtedly stole from an equally ignorant Instagram user:
"Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you'll end up where you're supposed to be."
Bristol should visit a hospital burn unit or a battered woman's shelter sometime and spout her nonsense to them. I am sure they would have quite an interesting reaction.
So I was kind of waiting for Bristol to introduce her shiny new life to the tabloids and start trying to increase her name recognition for whatever she and her mother have planned next.
As of right now it appears that her short term plan is to continue using her kids to hawk these ridiculous energy drinks, but I am confident that they have a more complex long term plan in mind.
And I think it very likely centers around Dakota.
After all their name is shit right now, especially after Trump loses this election, and their only hope of reinventing themselves is as the wife and mother-in-law of a Medal of Honor winner.

In wake of the new SarahPAC numbers Bristol Palin is turning her grift up to eleven. "Let's bring in the kids."
You know I was trying to avoid posting anything with Tripp's face in it, however I thought it was important to illustrate how Bristol is using her kids to convince people to buy this shitty energy so that she can receive a kick back.A photo posted by Bristol Meyer (@bsmp2) on
In some ways it's hard to blame her because Sarah has used children for everything, including as a human shield, a distraction for the media, an excuse not to do her job, attempts to raise money, and even as leverage to control certain family members.
However in another way it is perfectly reasonable to blame Bristol because she is a grown ass woman who went through this herself and should know how to shield her children from a similar experience.
It's called a job Bristol, most everybody has to get one, a real one, at some point in their life.

For those who may be wondering, yes the Palin family grifting operation continues uninterrupted.

I know what you're thinking. "Wait, doesn't she have a husband to take care of her financial needs now?"
Well as it turns out he joined the family business as well.

Just got the new "soft scorpions" in from G-Code Holsters. These are great universal "anything" pouches (M4 mags, AR10 mags, AK mags, iPhone's, pistol mags, knives, flashlights, etc.). Precision molded materials with metal inserts allow for a number of attachment options. I have these set up with paddles in the back so I can toss them on/off with ease. Made in the USA. Off to the range!
And then yes there is a link to the company so that you can also buy whatever the hell these things are.
As for the Grizzled Mama herself virtually all of her Facebook posts now link to articles on this Right Wing Independent Journal website so clearly she has some financial agreement with them.
Because let's face it this woman does not do ANYTHING from free.
So to sum up. Bristol is now hawking weight loss products, Dakota is pushing tactical holsters, and Palin herself is using the last vestiges of her fame to promote a third rate Breitbart ripoff.
This is where we insert the maniacal laughter.

For some reason the husband of Bristol's Palin's former ghostwriter is coming to the defense of her new husband.
So after we posted about Dakota Meyer's carelessness around his infant daughter, apparently David French, husband of former Palin ghostwriter Nancy French, decided to throw in his two cents.
Here is a portion from the National Review article titled "Silly People Freak Out Over a Picture of a War Hero and a Gun":
That’s Dakota Meyer — a Marine who was awarded the Medal of Honor for action in the Battle of Ganjgal (you can read my review of his book here). If there is a man alive today who know how to handle a firearm, it’s Dakota Meyer.
Notwithstanding his expertise and experience, internet trolls freaked out at the proximity of his pistol to his baby daughter. Here’s how the Daily Mail described the picture:
"In the image, the Medal of Honor winner appears to be getting ready to leave his house. While he can be seen adjusting the holster, Sailor is innocently sucking on her pacifier, unaware that a lethal weapon is mere inches away from her."
“Mere inches away” — the drama, oh the drama. But I must confess that I’m confused. Is the concern that Meyer’s infant daughter will pitch forward in her car seat, grab the gun while tumbling down from the kitchen island, and fire it while her father stands right next to her – completely helpless? Or is the concern that a baby is next to a gun — and everyone knows that guns just radiate deadliness and malice.
I suspect it’s the latter — because it’s obvious to me that Sailor is in absolutely zero physical danger. You can’t even tell from the picture whether the gun is loaded or a round is chambered. Either way, the concerns are ludicrous. I’ve held my youngest daughter — who’s much older than Sailor and far more capable of grabbing a gun – countless times while carrying a firearm, and each time she was “mere inches away” from a “lethal weapon.” The issue isn’t proximity of the gun to the child but whether the adult is in control of access to the gun. Sailor is perfectly safe, and the anti-gun internet remains perfectly ludicrous.
Okay so the first thing I have to wonder is whether the French's are once again in the employ of the Palin family and David is providing some damage control in response to Meyer being raked over the coals for being a dimwit and a shitty parent.
However considering that Palin is hemorrhaging money, and SarahPAC is gasping its last breath, I'm not sure that's the case.
And since this article predates Meyer going off on Trump over his treatment of the military, this cannot be from a sense of camaraderie that the French's feel toward another #NeverTrump devotee.
So we are left with the one of two options. Either David French is simply so goo goo eyed over any Medal of Honor inner that he feels compelled to rush to their defense, or that Dakota is such a delicious hunk of man flesh that David French finds himself slipping out of the closet.
Either one seems both possible, and probable.

It took a day but finally folks are noticing that Dakota Meyer's ammosexual approach to parenting.
I shared this picture of Dakota on Wednesday, and of course we have already had our somewhat passionate discussion about what it demonstrates.
A couple of people jumped on me for even paying attention to Dakota and the Palins, however it should be noted that I am certainly not the only one to take note.
Courtesy of the Daily Mail:
Bristol Palin's new husband Dakota Meyer is a big believer in the right to bear arms, and now he insists that carrying a gun is 'imperative' because he has his baby girl to protect.
The 28-year-old Marine took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo of himself adjusting his gun holster before grabbing the firearm that was left sitting on the kitchen counter next to his seven-month-old daughter Sailor Grace, who was gleefully smiling in her car seat.
Although he doesn't specifically say the photo is a sponsored post, it appears to be that way as he made a point to inset a close-up image of the holster in the image.
In the image, the Medal of Honor winner appears to be getting ready to leave his house. While he can be seen adjusting the holster, Sailor is innocently sucking on her pacifier, unaware that a lethal weapon is mere inches away from her.
If you take the time to read the comments you will find that most of them are far from supportive.
The New York Daily News cringed a little as well:The picture shows Meyer adjusting a gun holster on his hip while his 7-month-old daughter Sailor Grace is resting on the kitchen counter — right next to his gun.
Even Newswmax which is usually a bastion of conservationism, expressed a little concern:
His post has brought more than 2,500 "likes" — with many complimenting his daughter or supporting the gun product — but 33 people bashed him for having the weapon near his daughter to using Instagram to advertise the product.
kari_kossler — "Oh no. YOU'RE using Instagram to make a paycheck, too? Gross."
Of course Perez Hilton did not bother to sugar coat his opinion:
Yikes! We know the pair are fans of the 2nd amendment but this scary snap is a little TOO much!
While we're sure the veteran made sure the weapon was empty or locked before taking the pic, it's still an uncomfortable image. It's unclear why the 28-year-old felt the need to place the hand gun in such close proximity to his infant… it's just bizarre.
Yeah personally I would not give him enough credit to assume the gun was unloaded or had the safety on.
Sarah Palin even decided to jump into the debate by tweeting a link to her new go to new outlet, the Independent Journal.
To be fair he might always have been an idiot and a grifter all along. Only now with more attention coming his way everybody will know it.

So yes it has not taken long for Dakota Meyer to now be judged just as incompetent and attention seeking as his new wife and her family of notorious grifters.Dakota Meyer Posts Photo of Gun Next to His Baby. Apparently Dakota Meyer is competing with his wife for who can be the worst parent imaginable.
Courtesy of Meyer's Facebook page:
Carrying has always been important to me for my own safety but now it is imperative because now I have someone relying on me. Every day, everywhere I go, every time I carry and am honored to be using the Blood Stripe holster from G-Code Holsters
Seriously what in the fuck?
You know I raised my daughter in Alaska, and I have lived here my entire life.
I cannot imagine what dangers Dakota Meyers feels he will face that would justify having a gun near his child every time he spends time with her.
We have harsh elements, icy roads, the same sharp cornered furniture and household poisons that every other place might have, airborne viruses, toxic plants, etc., but none of those dangers are minimized by the presence of a weapon.
All Dakota is doing is introducing an added danger, not protecting her from an already existing one.
Here I was hoping that the above incident was a one time thing, only to learn that Dakota Meyer thinks that handguns and babies go together like PB & J.
And for the final time carrying a gun everywhere you go does NOT indicate what a bad ass you are. It indicates what a coward you are in that you feel helpless without a weapon strapped to your hip.
There are women all over the world caring for their children completely unarmed. Apparently all of them are significantly more courageous than this Medal of Honor recipient.

Dakota Meyer decides to use his daughter to send the most inappropriate message ever in the wake of a mass shooting.
Courtesy of Dakota Meyer Palin's Facebook page:
Look Bristol Palin she's a natural! #sailorgrace #america #minigatlinggun #beingadadistheshit #startthemearly #sailorgracesupportsthe2ndamendment
Share your pictures of your kids enjoying the 2nd amendment!
As a nation we are currently mourning the loss of two men of color and five Dallas police officers due to guns, so what is Dakota's contribution to the national dialogue?
A picture of his infant daughter with a gatling gun along with encouragement to others to share similar pictures.
Gee, how wildly inappropriate.
P.S. So I guess the children's faces only need to be blurred out to discourage "creeps" on Bristol's social media accounts?

Dakota Meyer spends Memorial Day weekend with this daughter. Time for some product placement.
Courtesy of the most recent Bristol baby daddy's Facebook page:
We are flying Delta Airlines this Memorial Day weekend and just wanted to say thanks for all their support and making sure my most precious cargo is happy. — with Delta.
Okay seriously does EVERYBODY associated with the Palins use their children like this?
It's like grifting is an airborne disease and if you get close the Palin family you catch it.
Before you ask no I don't know if Bristol is with Sailor and Dakota on this trip.
All I know is thatTripp is with Levi and Sunny and that Bristol is currently out of state.

Dakota Meyer's latest picture with his daughter is....interesting.
Courtesy of Meyer's Facebook page:
I've had a lot of titles but I'll be honest..... Dad is by far my favorite one.
Well I am not often in agreement with Dakota, but I give a thumbs up to that last statement.
So some people have been wondering where this picture was taken but I think it is pretty clear that it is Bristol's bathroom. (It is also pretty clear she has a jeans fetish.)
Which of course raises the question of whether or not Bristol it trying to lure Dakota back into her web.
Based on Bristol's history I would suggest that doing so would certainly fit her pattern.
Bristol hates to lose a man, and will often tease them and send them suggestive messages just to see if they will take the bait.
So now we will get to see if Dakota Meyer is really smarter than Bristol Palin's usual boy toys, or if all of those smart legal moves were really just due to having a good attorney.

Bristol Palin caves on daughter's name change. Dakota Meyer's name now added to birth certificate.
Courtesy of People:
Bristol Palin has agreed to her ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer's court petition to have their 4-month-old daughter's last name changed from Palin to Meyer.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE Palin and Meyer's daughter's name is listed as Sailor Grace Palin on her birth certificate, and will now be legally changed to Sailor Grace Palin Meyer. Meyer is also now listed on the baby's birth certificate.
Palin's lawyer told PEOPLE in a statement: "Bristol consented to the change of name some time ago," adding that both Palin and Meyer are "talking directly and just being parents without involving the lawyers."
They are "talking directly and just being parents without involving the lawyers." Really? Because Dakota Meyer filed for his name change in court, which ABSOLUTELY involved lawyers.
And in fact it was her "not involved" lawyer who gave that statement to the press.
I kind of want to see this as a win for Dakota, and give him credit for keeping all of this in view of the public because THAT is what keeps the Palins from screwing with you.
But what bothers me is that birth certificate. If Dakota was the father, and Bristol KNEW that, why was his name not already on the birth certificate?
The reason of course is because he either refused to sign an Acknowledgement of Paternity, or he was never asked to sign one.
So one would hope that the DNA test that Bristol's lawyers claimed proved he was the father by a percentage of 99.9957, were indeed accurate.
Because if not Dakota Meyer has just become the latest victim in a long line of people victimized by the Palin family. Actually it could be argued that such is the case even if he is the father.
