Is even Sarah Palin this horribly manipulative?

On the left you see Gabby Giffords as she appeared on 20/20 during her interview with Diane Sawyer on November 14.  On the right is Palin as SHE appeared the very next day, November 15, on Greta Van Susteren's show.

Of course we all know that Palin watched that 20/20 episode, and waited with clenched fists to see if her name would be brought up (And of course it was), so we KNOW she had to have noticed what Gabby was wearing.

So is the fact that the very next day Palin wears an outfit that is almost IDENTICAL to the one Giffords wore simply a coincidence? Or did she do it in an attempt to mock Gabby or, using some painfully twisted logic, in an attempt to get some reflected sympathy?

I have to admit I am not exactly sure WHAT to think.  However I would be negligent not to again mention that is was Palin herself who claimed that she did NOT believe in coincidences.

When religion becomes child abuse. The indoctrination of hate in the Westboro church.

I watched this last night and was completely horrified at what these young children are subjected to on a daily basis. I am not usually a defender of religion, but the twisting of the basic Christian message in this case is inexcusable, and it really stretches the premise of religious tolerance and freedom of speech to their very limits.

In my personal opinion what is happening to these kids is a very obvious form of child abuse and, even though I realize that it would be against everything this country supposedly stands for, I would like to see these children removed from such a home and given the opportunity to live a life of love and acceptance instead of one constantly simmering with hate.

Some people should just never be parents.

Barbara Walters interviews the President and Mrs. Obama. The word for today is "class."

I am not a big fan of Barbara Walter, but this interview was a joy to watch.

I will embed part five because I want all of you to see how the Obama's talk about their family, their difficulties, and their view of the sacrifices made by our military fighting men and women. 



Now compare what you just heard to how somebody else responds to the challenges in her life.

BTW Walters should NEVER have brought up the Grizzled Mama to either our President or his wife.  These are serious accomplished people, and asking them to comment on the antics of the court jester is an insult to them, and to the American people.
