Nancy French posts one of the most grammatically incorrect poorly edited pieces on behalf of Bristol Palin that I have ever seen. And remember, I cover the Palins.

First this courtesy of Breitbart:

Mere months after the Palins supported Schilling’s remarks comparing Islamic extremists to Nazi, the former Alaska governor and her eldest daughter defended Schilling after he was canned by the liberal sports network ESPN. Schilling simply made his opinions known regarding grown men using the same bathrooms as little girls. He dealt with facts. Of course, conservative thought is not welcome in the world of ESPN, and because of Schilling’s stance, he was fired.

Many remained silent. Others blasted Schilling. But the Palins weren’t shy about backing the three-time World Series champion. Sarah Palin wrote on social media, “ESPN continues to screw up.” Bristol weighed in with “Curt Schilling got fired for telling the truth.”

Schilling, while appreciative, wishes the Palins didn’t feel obligated to rush in from the bullpen. “The embarrassing and pathetic thing is they would have to,” said Schilling while speaking on Mama Grizzly Radio this week. “Me being fired for being a conservative American was only a matter of time from ESPN”

So to be clear Schilling actually went on "Mama Grizzly Radio" which is so under the radar that even I forgot that it still existed.

That right there tells you how pathetic this Schilling guy is.

But perhaps not nearly as pathetic as Nancy French who once again demonstrated her complete lack of integrity by posing as Sarah Palin's brawling baby making daughter and typed out this middle school level response (Now keep in mind I, in no way, altered the content of what follows):

Here’s the thing, Curt — we don’t feel obligated to defend you. It’s RIGHT to stand up and fight for the culture while the left tries to flush it down the toilet. But I don’t know why you’re saying that ESPN fired you for being conservative. Remember how ESPN came down hard these guys?

— when commentator Tony Kornheiser when he compared the tea party to ISIS

— when ESPN documentary film maker Spike Lee who said he just can’t stand interracial couples: “I give interracial couples a look. Daggers. They get uncomfortable when they see me on the street.”

— or when Lee, after he said he wanted to shoot Charlton Heston with a .44-caliber Bulldog.

 — or when Lee, after he claimed Trent Lott was “a card-carrying member of the Klan. I know he has that hood in the closet.”

— or when Charles Barkley (on ESPN’s “Waddle & Silvy” radio show) said, “Well, you know, I have a thing for Sarah Palin,” he explained. “I think she’s hot. I wouldn’t vote for her, but she is hot now. … I’ve always said, I’ve got a crush on Sarah Palin. I would never vote for her, I’ll always vote Democratic. I think you’ve got a better chance of helping poor people if you vote Democratic. … But I’ll always have a thing for Sarah Palin.”

— or that time when Mike Tyson said that my mom should have her guts raped out of her. (As usual this last part is a lie. Tyson never said she should be raped. Here are his exact words.)

So here's a fun game we can play, let's count the number of errors in that post.

You know I am not sure if Nancy French is just saying "fuck it I don't get paid enough to put a lot of effort into this job anymore," or if Sarah is finally making Bristol do some of the typing herself.

Either way this was quite a pathetic attempt to garner a little publicity by defending the indefensible.

ESPN baseball analyst Curt Schilling taken off the air for anti-Islamic tweet. Schilling accepts responsibility and consequences. Sarah Palin finds it unacceptable.

Courtesy of Vox:

The argument here is pretty clear, even if the numbers are pure nonsense, but just so it's not lost: Schilling is saying that the religion of Islam is akin to Nazi Germany, and that the world's 1.6 billion Muslims are responsible for the actions of a tiny minority of extremists in the same way that Nazi-era Germans were complicit in Nazi crimes.

Putting aside the many obvious ways this is breathtakingly bigoted and hateful, let's briefly go through the motions of why it is also wrong. Muslims are by far the number-one victims of extremist groups such as ISIS: They are the most likely to be killed by ISIS, and they are the most likely to actively fight ISIS. Nazi-era Germans, on the other hand, overwhelmingly supported and fought for the Nazi regime. So in fact the relationship between Nazi-era Germans and Nazi crimes is the exact opposite of the relationship between Muslims and ISIS.

In response to the tweet ESPN suspended Schilling:

ESPN has taken baseball analyst Curt Schilling off the air after he sent a tweet equating Muslim extremists with Nazis in Germany.

"Curt's tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company's perspective," ESPN said in a statement. "We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration."

And Schilling himself admitted that he made a bad decision.

There you go, over and done.

Not so fast. The peanut gallery had not been heard from yet.

ESPN IS A JOURNALISTIC EMBARRASSMENT

ESPN - what happened to you? Your intolerant PC police are running amok and making a joke out of you!

By picking and choosing who they'll tolerate and who they'll try to destroy, ESPN has zero credibility as a sound and reasonable media outlet. They suspended former major league great Curt Schilling because of his tweet:

"Only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How'd that go?"

ESPN reacted about as fast as a Schilling pitch, wimpering, "Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective. We have removed him from his current assignment... pending further consideration.”

Two points - well, three, because Curt's a pretty conservative/independent guy.

One - there's been crude, rude bile spewing from the once-great sports network for years now. Trust me. I know. My name and reputation's been in it. One ESPN affiliate's on-air rant featuring their misogynist, animalistic "analysts" grunting and giggling through an entire x-rated celebration of violence against women didn't even draw a chirp from ESPN's wussified leaders. Look it up; I don't want to have to recount it. (Here I'll do it. After all it's my job.) ESPN radio affiliate in Las Vegas got its kicks out of convicted rapist Mike Tyson describing the next rape he'd want to see. (Warning, graphic language throughout that Sept. 20, 2011 broadcast.)

Two - Schilling's tweet - was he wrong? No! In fact his stats were too generous in estimating Muslims' attitudes. Reports show it's 88% of Egyptian Muslims favoring DEATH for anyone who leaves Islam. The majority of Muslims in many other places share the sentiment. In America, these views could be correctly described as “extreme.” The difference between Hitler’s army and the genocidal maniacs of ISIS is that the jihadists don’t have as much power… yet.

By denying the accuracy of Schilling’s tweet, ESPN shows its weakness as it buys into the propaganda of ISIS and other terror organizations, helping mislead the public about the very real threat of terrorism. It shows once again that ESPN would rather concentrate on liberal global politics instead of report well on our beloved sports.

From those of us who used to LOVE the network (to the point of addiction, some would confess!), I say to ESPN - you are awful in this. Stick to sports.

 - Sarah Palin

So ESPN should stick to sports? Well you Sarah Palin should stick to....uh...what is it that you know something about again?

So to sum up, according to Sarah Palin, Margaret Sanger should be vilified for all time for her support of eugenics, despite all of the good she has done since. However Curt Schilling should not have to miss a single game due to his insensitive remarks about those who belong to the largest religion in the world.

Could not be more clear.

I almost missed this but apparently Bristol Palin (Nancy French) claimed that she was NOT duped by that ESPN award hoax.

First off for all of those who may not remember this, here is the post I wrote about Bristol's ghostwriter falling for the hoax.

However according to a post that came out later that same day there was a denial that Bristol aka Nancy was stupid enough to get duped.

In fact it was titled "Dear Liberal Media, I Didn’t Get Duped by the Noah Galloway/Caitlyn Jenner ESPY Controversy."

Here’s the thing. I didn’t get “duped.” I know that ESPN did not publish who was considered and rejected for the award. But it is certainly obvious that Noah Galloway and Lauren Hill did not receive the award.

Neither did any of the other athletes who deserved the award far more than Caitlyn Jenner.

That’s all I’m saying.

The so-called “hoax” was that he was perhaps “runner up.” Who cares? I never said he was the runner up.

I’ll make it easy on you. Here are the two options:

1. He was either considered and rejected

2. Or — worse — not considered at all.

The only hoax is the media’s weird inability to see the truth.

You know I am willing to give Bristol the benefit of the doubt. I think it is very likely that SHE was not duped by the story.

The reason I say that is because it is more than likely that since Bristol did not write that post that she also may not have even known about the hoax.

After all Bristol had only arrived back in Wasilla two days earlier, and was apparently catching up on her sleep.

However Nancy French is another matter altogether.

You see in the post where she was impersonating Bristol Palin she also linked to HER post, the title of which was "ESPN Gave the “Courage Award” to Caitlyn Jenner Instead of Iraq War Vet and Amputee Noah Galloway."

And that post linked to her husband David French's post entitled " Yes, ESPN Did Pick Caitlyn Jenner Ahead of Iraq War Vet and Amputee Noah Galloway for the ESPY Courage Awar."

In his post Mr. French acknowledges that there was an internet hoax, whereas Nancy does not in hers, and certainly does not mention the hoax in Bristol's blog post.

Now here's the question. If they had not read, and at least briefly believed, the hoax about Noah Galloway having been a runner up to receive the award, why would they have even brought up his name?

I mean there are numerous athletes, ex-servicemen, and amputees who are certainly worthy of recognition. But for some reason all three blog posts centered on the one guy that had been referred to first by a Boston radio personality...

...and then later had become the center of a controversy that evolved into conservative outrage over what they perceived as a slight directed toward the military.

You know what I think?

I think that both Nancy French and her husband fell for the story hook line, and sinker, and wrote about it with righteous indignation.

Then I think they later realized they had been duped and edited their blog posts so it looked like they knew it was a hoax all along. However unfortunately for them Bristol's post had already received national attention so Nancy was forced to leave it intact and then come back later and deny, deny, deny.

Hey all bloggers make the occasional mistake. But some of us, well some of us can admit them.

ESPN reporter suspended for being rude to tow truck company employee seems to have an idol.

Here is more courtesy of CNN:

On the roughly one-minute long video that was captured by a surveillance camera, McHenry says to an employee at a register: "I'm in the news, sweetheart. I will (expletive) sue this place."

The employee tells McHenry she's being recorded, but it doesn't stop her from continuing her rant.

"That's why I have a degree and you don't," she says. "I wouldn't work at a scumbag place like this. Makes my skin crawl even being here."

Later McHenry says, "maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh?"

The employee apparently says something about McHenry's hair and the color of her roots.

McHenry sasses back, saying, "Oh, like yours, 'cause they look so stunning, 'cause I'm on television and you're in a (expletive) trailer, honey. Lose some weight, baby girl."

Wow that got ugly fast!

In response ESPN suspended McHenry, however interestingly enough the tow company does not want McHenry punished. This from People magazine:

On Friday, Advanced Towing Co. released a statement about the incident – and confirm they do not wish to see McHenry punished for her comments.

"Parking enforcement is contentious by nature. At the same time, neither Gina, our lot clerk, nor our company, have any interest in seeing Britt McHenry suspended or terminated as a result of her comments," the statement begins.

"Ms. McHenry is our neighbor, and, as she said, to paraphrase, made remarks that were out of line. She is human and errors in judgement can be made in the heat of the moment. Gina is a single mother of 3 children who works a difficult job to provide her family. Gina holds no ill will toward Ms. McHenry," the statement continues.

Well that's nice, though keep in mind that the towing company released the video to the public in the first place.

McHenry has since apologized, however Deadspin claims that McHenry has a history of being......let's say unpleasant.

Deadspin also uncovered this interesting photograph.

Oh yeah, I think we all saw that one coming a mile away didn't we?

Now Sarah Palin's mad at ESPN because (Buy my book!) they did not accept a hospital advertisement (Buy my book dammit!) that mentioned God and Jesus (Seriously I have truckloads of these stupid things!) and if anybody thinks she has an ulterior motive they are probably just an angry atheist.

ESPN, you've come a long way, baby... from your known wholesome, bold Americana "persona" to now being afraid to support freedom and not being bold enough to allow acknowledgement of the "Reason for the Season." So disappointing. Well, I hope you guys catch and enjoy the Christmas spirit anyway!

Palin then links to an article over at Breitbart where, as we know, journalistic ethics goes to die, discussing the terrible transgression by ESPN:

The commercial mentions that thousands of people in the community send "messages of hope to sick and injured children who may not be able to come home for the holidays."

"At... Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the season of giving, bringing hope to the many children, parents, and families that we serve," an announcer says in the ad before mentioning that the hospital's patients are "filled with hope" because they receive daily messages from the "treasure chest" beneath its "tree of hope."

The ad concludes by asking viewers to "help us reveal God's healing presence this Christmas. Send your message of hope at Glennon.org."

ESPN reportedly found "we celebrate the birth of Jesus" and "help us reveal God's healing presence this Christmas" to be "problematic."

So once again a business decision made in recognition of the fact that there is a growing number of their viewers who are NOT Christians and who may find such a commercial objectionable, or even insulting to their belief system or lack thereof, has been twisted as an "attack on Christmas and Christianity."

By the way how is it that Palin does not recognize that "freedom" also entails the freedom to pick and choose the advertisements you want broadcast on your network without some anorexic bitch trying to lay a guilt trip on you about it?

But I guess when you have unsellable merchandise you really only care about your own freedom to drum up business by attacking everybody in your line of sight.

You know, just like Jesus would do.
