Putin welcomes Jon Huntsman as the new US Ambassador to Russia and warned him to follow a policy of “noninterference.” You know, like Russia does for us.

I expect you to be my little bitch just like you president.
Courtesy of the Wall Street Journal:

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday told the new U.S. ambassador to Moscow he hoped Washington would follow a policy of “noninterference” in the country’s domestic affairs, amid the ongoing controversy over alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

Mr. Putin accepted credentials from U.S. Ambassador Jon Huntsman, a former Utah governor and envoy to China and Singapore, in a ceremony at the Kremlin. In remarks to newly arriving diplomats, Mr. Putin said the basis for cooperation between Moscow and Washington should be “strict adherence to the principles of equality, respect of national interests and noninterference in domestic affairs.”

Allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential race have roiled Washington for months. During Amb. Huntsman’s Senate confirmation hearings last month, he said there was “no question—underline no question—that the Russian government interfered in the U.S. election last year.”

Yes, please do not attempt to interfere in the running of our country, like we interfered in the running of yours.

In other words, do as I say, not as I do.

I used to kind of like Jon Huntsman as one of the least hypocritical of the Republican politicians, but I have lost some respect since the 2008 primaries.

And if he bends over and let's Putin screw him over, I will have lost any residual respect that remains.

We need an ambassador that will call Putin out on his shenanigans, not one that will make nice and ask him pretty please not to interfere in our democracy.

More Republicans are slowly accepting the inevitability of Donald Trump's nomination, but he may have some difficulty finding a running mate.

So it appears that just the other day Marco Rubio, who bitterly exchanged barbs with Trump during the debates, had a slight change of heart:

Rubio reiterated that he’s not making an endorsement but will support the Republican nominee in the general election. He said Trump’s “performance has improved significantly” in recent weeks.

Talk about "damned with faint praise."

Rubio is not the only one who has caved to pressure to accept Trump's inevitable nomination:

“We've had enough intraparty fighting. Now's the time to stitch together a winning coalition,” said Jon Huntsman, the former governor of Utah. “And it's been clear almost from the beginning that Donald Trump has the ability to assemble a nontraditional bloc of supporters. … The ability to cut across traditional party boundaries — like '80, '92 and 2008 — will be key, and Trump is much better positioned to achieve that.”

And to think I used to kind of respect John Huntsman's integrity.

However acceptance of his nomination is not enough to convince a number of Republicans to share the ticket with Donald Trump.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

It’s a time-honored tradition for politicians to deny any interest in the vice presidency. But this year, with the possibility of Donald J. Trump as the Republican nominee, they really mean it.

“Never,” said Chris Schrimpf, a spokesman for Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, who is still running against Mr. Trump. “No chance.”

“Hahahahahahahahaha,” wrote Sally Bradshaw, a senior adviser to Jeb Bush, when asked if he would consider it.

“Scott Walker has a visceral negative reaction to Trump’s character,” said Ed Goeas, a longtime adviser to the Wisconsin governor.

Or, as Senator Lindsey Graham put it, “That’s like buying a ticket on the Titanic.”

A remarkable range of leading Republicans, including Gov. Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona, have been emphatic publicly or with their advisers and allies that they do not want to be considered as Mr. Trump’s running mate.

No worries, I'm sure that Meatloaf or Dennis Rodman would be more than happy to join the ticket.

Personally I am not sure that there is really any way for the Republican party to coalesce around a clown like Donald Trump.

I think we are seeing the beginning of the end of the Republican party as we know it.

That could be a good thing, or a very very bad thing.

Morning Joe panel arguing about Sarah Palin running for President. Why?

http://on.msnbc.com/1eXpBht
Click goofy grin to play video
I can't believe I had to wake up to this crap this morning.

Okay for some reason I woke up really early and noticed I had left my television on which was playing some stupid infomercial.

So in my bleary eyed state I turned the channel to MSNBC figuring I could fall back asleep for an hour or so to the inanity that comes from Morning Joe.

Wrong.

What I heard was Bill Kristol and the group talking about the possible GOP lineup for 2016. He listed off the usual group of losers, which now included Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, John Bolton, and Ted Cruz.

And then he introduced Palin's name to the mix, "just to make people's heads explode."

This resulted in this bizarre round of rationalizations for why she could run, and how it would be good for the party. Scarborough even had the gall to compare her to Babe Ruth, which should make every baseball fan want to go to his house and burn it to the ground.

However things took a more combative turn when Chuck Todd said that he also believed that Palin would run, but only to make money and increase her visibility and further her career.

This almost made Bill Kristol's head explode (You may remember that Kristol is often blamed credited with finding Palin and bringing her into the national spotlight.), and he became angry and defensive while the rest of the panel simply laughed at him.

Just to clear this up for the Morning Joe crowd, or anybody else who did not get the memo, Sarah Palin is NEVER running for President. Never!

She is possibly one of the most ignorant people on the planet, but she KNOWS that if she ran she would face the kind of scrutiny from the press and others that frightens her to her very core.

Not only that but those who have stayed silent up until now, would be compelled to talk, and she would never let that happen.

Right now Sarah Palin is doing the very best that she can, with the notoriety that she has left, hosting a fake hunting program on a cable channel nobody can find.

Jon Huntsman all but abandons the Republican party.

Courtesy of The Salt Lake Tribune:

Huntsman, who says he has been at every convention since 1984 when he was a delegate for Ronald Reagan, told The Salt Lake Tribune in a statement that he’s been asked repeatedly whether he would attend the August convention in Tampa, Fla., but noted that he is skipping it.

"I will not be attending this year’s convention, nor any Republican convention in the future," Huntsman said, "until the party focuses on a bigger, bolder, more confident future for the United States — a future based on problem solving, inclusiveness, and a willingness to address the trust deficit, which is every bit as corrosive as our fiscal and economic deficits."

"I encourage a return to the party we have been in the past," he said, "from Lincoln right on through to Reagan, that was always willing to put our country before politics."

While I completely disagree with Huntsman that Reagan "put country before politics," I do give him mad props for having the integrity to publicly state that his party has essentially lost their minds, and that nothing they are doing is to help their constituents any more.

Apparently, even though he had thrown his support to Mitt Romney after bowing out of the primary, Huntsman has been so upset with the Republican party, and by extension his fellow Mormon, that he was "uninvited" back in March from attending this year's convention for daring to suggest that it is time for the introduction of a  third party in this country.

Huntsman has ALWAYS been, it seems, the one GOP presidential candidate who flatly refused to pander to the paint chip eating mouth breathers who now essentially make up the base of the Republican party. Something that I have always found admirable by the way.

Jon Huntsman compares the Republican party to China. Well there goes THAT political career!

From Buzzfeed:

Huntsman, the former Utah governor and once President Barack Obama's Ambassador to China, expressed disappointment that the Republican Party disinvited him from a Florida fundraiser in March after he publicly called for a third party.

"This is what they do in China on party matters, they punish you, if you talk off script," he said.

Huntsman said he regrets his decision to oppose a 10-to-1 spending cuts to tax increase deal to cut the deficit at the Iowa debate lamenting: “if you can only do certain things over again in life.”

"What went through my head was if I veer at all from my pledge not to raise any taxes…then I’m going to have to do a lot of explaining," he explained. "What was going through my mind was 'don't I just want to get through this?'"

That decision, Huntsman said, "has caused me a lot of heartburn.” Huntsman jokingly blamed his failed candidacy in part on his wife, Mary Kaye, who told him she'd leave him if he abandoned his principles.

“She said if you pandered, if you sign any of those damn pledges, I’ll leave you,” Huntsman recounted.

"So I had to say I believe in science — and people on stage look at you quizzically as though you're was an oddball," Huntsman said, explaining why he was "toast" in Iowa.

You know Huntsman was the ONE nominee that the Obama administration feared, because they knew that in the general election he would be able to attract the moderates and that he could wage a campaign that would make the President's reelection an uphill battle.

Of course they didn't need to worry, since the Republican party of today could not being themselves to actually nominate a candidate that had the credential to do the job.

I have to say that I really like the idea that his wife told him that if he signed any of those ridiculous GOP pledges that she would leave him. Can anybody imagine Ann Romney telling her husband that he was pandering too much? Nope, not me either.

I guess I can admit now that it's all over that I really liked Jon Huntsman.  He had balls, and he did not act like an imbecile to gain the support of the paint chip eaters, and Civil War reenactors that seem to run the Republican party these days.

He had something else going for him as well...hmm now what was it?

Oh well it'll come to me.

Another one bites the dust, as Jon Huntsman bows out.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Mr. Huntsman, who had hoped to use the South Carolina primary this week to revive his flagging candidacy, informed his advisers on Sunday that he was bowing to political reality and would back Mr. Romney, whom he accused a week ago of putting party ahead of country.

Mr. Huntsman, who had struggled to live up to the early expectations of his candidacy, was to deliver a speech Monday morning in Myrtle Beach, where the five remaining major Republican candidates will gather hours later for a debate. His endorsement of Mr. Romney is indication of the party establishment getting behind Mr. Romney and trying to focus the party on defeating President Obama.

“The governor and his family, at this point in the race, decided it was time for Republicans to rally around a candidate who could beat Barack Obama and turn around the economy,” Matt David, Mr. Huntsman’s campaign manager, said in an interview Sunday evening. “That candidate is Gov. Mitt Romney.”

I have been hearing a lot of grumbling about Huntman's decision to endorse Romney, but what choice did he really have?

After all Romney is the closest to Huntsman's moderate ideology, not to mention they are both Mormons. It was the LDS thing to do.

Besides who else was he going to endorse?

Gingrich?

Santorum?

Perry?

Not hardly.

Update: Interesting possibility to consider. Did Huntsman's abrupt decision to leave the race have anything to do with fear that he would place behind comedian Stephen Colbert in the South Carolina primary?

If true, that would be AWESOME!

Rachel Maddow explores the question of whether Ron Paul supporters made the truly despicable anti-Jon Huntsman political ad, or IF perhaps Jon Huntsman himself made that ad? I know right?

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Okay first off I have to say that like MANY progressives I have found Huntsman to be the LEAST objectionable clown in the GOP clown car.

However if in fact Huntsman himself is responsible for this despicable ad, and he made it just so that he could play the victim, while at the same time smearing a fellow candidate for his party's nomination, then we have to take a step back and look at this guy with fresh eyes. Because if THIS is the kind of underhanded, manipulative, bullshit he is capable of pulling, we do NOT want him anywhere near this nomination! (Segment of Rachel's show that talks about ad is around the 6:42 mark)

I don't care how pretty his daughters are, or how reasonable he seems on the podium, if true THIS indicates a truly horrible human being.

Your thoughts?

I am not sure how much this helps President Obama, but it certainly made me feel better about supporting him.

"Don't worry Atheists, I have your back."
Courtesy of the Secular Coalition:

The Secular Coalition for America today released its 2012 Presidential Candidate Scorecard—a guide for secular-minded Americans on the presidential candidates in the upcoming 2012 election. The scorecard ranks the major candidates of both Republican and Democratic parties on issues important to nontheistic Americans, and all Americans who support a robust separation of church and state.

Of the three leading Republican candidates, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and U.S. Representative Ron Paul received mostly negative scores, while former U.S. Representative and Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich received a grade of “F” in almost every category. U.S. Representative Michelle Bachmann, Texas Governor Rick Perry, and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum also received almost exclusively negative grades in most categories. Former Utah Governor and Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman and President Barack Obama received mixed positives.

“Given the current political climate, I’m not surprised that the candidates received mixed ratings at best,” said Herb Silverman, President of the Secular Coalition for America. “Nontheists almost never get the opportunity to vote for a candidate who openly acknowledges being an atheist, but it’s frightening to see that at least half of the candidates don’t have a basic understanding of the principle of separation of church and state on which our country was founded.”

The scorecard assigned grades of "A", "B", "C" or "F" to the eight major candidates based on their public statements and actions on nine subjects:

  • Attitude Toward Nontheists
  • Church & State Separation
  • Taxpayer Funding of Religion
  • God, Faith & Governance Endorsements & Associations
  • Evolution
  • Scientifically Based Regulations & Legislation
  • Religious Discrimination & Civil Rights
  • Religious Refusal Laws

Here is the scorecard.

For anybody who does NOT believe that Christianity is the only true path to God, or who respects the separation of church and state, this is a VERY troubling indication of what kind of candidates are running for the highest political office in the country.

New photo of the President and his lovely family.

You know some things just cannot be faked.

And the affection and closeness shared by this family is one of them.

In my personal opinion that speaks volumes about this President's character.

Let's do a little comparison shall we?

The Perry's
The Bachmann's
The Paul family
This was literally the best picture of the Santoum family that I could find. And yeah, I would cry if I was Rick Santorum's daughter too.
The Duggars..uh..I mean Romney's
Who did I leave out? Oh yeah.

The Huntsman family

Okay so what do you think? Believe it or not, I did NOT pick the worst pictures of these political families. And in fact I think that many of them, like Romney's, Huntsman's, and Ron Paul's look very happy and close knit.

But no matter WHAT you think of them, you have to admit that they all look far more well adjusted than THIS family ever did.

(With the possible exception of the Bachmann family of course.)

Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann refuse to humiliate themselves by appearing on Trump's "Debate-apalooza."

Courtesy of ABC News:

Another one bites the dust.

Michele Bachmann has officially said “no” to the Donald Trump-moderated Newsmax debate scheduled for later this month.

“We have confirmed that we are not participating,” Bachmann spokeswoman Alice Stewart told ABC News on Thursday.

Bachmann has been especially aggressive in her courting of the real estate and reality television mogul, paying several personal visits to Trump Tower over the past few months in search of an endorsement.

So, this leaves just two candidates — Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum — who plan to show up at the Dec. 27 event in Des Moines.

Mitt Romney, Jon Huntsman, Rick Perry, Ron Paul have all declined to attend.

Perry became the latest to decline Trump’s invitation on Thursday.

Donald Trump, Rick Santorum, and Newt Gingrich?  That is not a debate, that is the least sexy menage-a-trois in history!

Essentially this is going to be a HUGE embarrassment to Donald Trump, as well as both Gingrich and Santorum for lowering themselves to the level of a political phony, and opportunist like Trump.

All any of us need to know about this so-called debate, is that it was too crazy for Michele Bachmann, too stupid for Rick Perry, but just right to earn an endorsement from Sarah Palin.

Michele Bachmann plays to female stereotype by subserviently pouring water for all of her male GOP presidential rivals.

Okay somebody sent this to me in an e-mail and I have not been able to stop thinking about it.

It took me a while to determine WHY I found it so troubling, but then it dawned on me that Bachmann, by essentially playing serving wench to a room full of powerful men, had essentially undermined females everywhere.

Now I will need the women, especially those of you who have lived through the battle for equality in the sixties and seventies, to weigh in on this and tell me if I am off base, but to my mind Bachmann reduced herself from powerful representative of females in this country, to a second class citizen serving the needs of her male superiors.

Now before you jump on me for being sexist, I would like to point out that if ANY of the men who are currently at the bottom of the polling heap had done something similar I would have perceived that as a sign of weakness as well, and the end of their candidacy. And yes I will concede that also applies to Herman Cain, who is NOT at the bottom of the polls but due to certain prejudices would have played into a stereotype that would have dramatically reduced his electability.

Let me explain my point a little more here. These individuals are engaged in a contest of wills, and an attempt to demonstrate to the American people their ability to lead the most powerful nation on earth. EVERYTHING they do is open to scrutiny, and rife with hidden meaning.

By serving the men at that table Bachmann may have been doing something both kind, and completely in character for her, but it was NOT Presidential. And since Bachmann is also a female, and is the sole representative of women in this contest, it is not only NOT Presidential it is also an insult to all of the women who worked so very hard to prove themselves an equal to men, in the work place, in their communities, and in politics.

Just try to imagine Hillary Clinton doing something similar.

Can't do it can you?

And if you want to really understand my point imagine if Herman Cain suddenly whipped out a shoeshine box and started applying a spit shine to Rick Perry's boots.

Now as I explained, THIS is my gut reaction to seeing the video, you are of course free to disagree.  But if you DO disagree tell my WHY I am wrong and resist the urge to simply call me a misogynist pig followed by a bunch of exclamation points. That does not really further the discourse.

Introducing Sarah Palin to the RNC, perhaps Jon Huntsman's most egregious crime against America.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

“I was asked to introduce her and nominate her because I think I was about the only person who actually knew her after John McCain had picked her as a running mate. I was chair of the Western Governor’s Association, I’d worked to a limited extent with Sarah Palin, so when you’re looking for somebody who can actually go up and nominate her, I was asked to do it and I did as told.”

"I did as told." Isn't THAT the same defense used by Nazis during the Nuremberg trials?

I love how Huntsman tries to dance around his participation in the nomination of Sarah Palin as VP. "It wasn't my fault! They made me do it!"

In my opinion if there is a GOD there should be a special place in Hell for EVERYBODY who was involved in bringing Palin to the national stage. And no I would not give Jon "I was only following orders" Huntsman a pass either.

Thank God for the Liberal media! Wait, what?

Courtesy of Pew Research:

Rick Perry received the most favorable coverage of any candidate for president during the first five months of the race, but now Herman Cain is enjoying that distinction, according to a new survey which combines traditional research methods and computer algorithmic technology to code the level and tone of news coverage.

Perry lost the mantle of the candidate enjoying the most favorable treatment to Herman Cain two weeks ago, after the Florida straw poll in which Cain scored a surprise victory. Meanwhile, though he has often led in the polls, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has received less coverage and less positive coverage than the shifting casts of frontrunners -- and that remains true even now. He ranks second in the amount of attention received, and the tone of that narrative has been unwaveringly mixed.

One man running for president has suffered the most unrelentingly negative treatment of all: Barack Obama. Though covered largely as president rather than a candidate, negative assessments of Obama have outweighed positive by a ratio of almost 4-to-1. The assessments of the president in the media were substantially more negative than positive in every one of the 23 weeks studied. In no week during these five months was more than 10% of the coverage about the President positive in tone.

I can't decide if I want to run around telling all of the conservative assholes I know "I told you so!" or crawl back into bed and pull the covers over my head in frustration for the rest of the day.

The media was NEVER liberal, but it used to at least be fair.

Why Jon Huntsman will NEVER be the Republican candidate for President.

Okay, you're crazy!

Crazy for EVER thinking the Teabaggers, who now run the GOP, will support somebody who believes in a notion as far fetched as SCIENCE that is!

I mean what are you thinking man? Don't you want to be the nominee?

(H/T to Andrew Sullivan.)

Just for laughs. The Republican candidate flow chart.

Sometimes you have to just laugh at the GOP circus as it rolls into town.

Of course later there will be those huge piles of elephant shit that somebody needs to shovel off of the streets, but for right now we can just enjoy the show.

Rick Perry shows what a man he is by bullying 76 year old Ron Paul!

These are pictures taken during a commercial break in the Republican debate.

Notice that he has grabbed hold of Paul's wrist.
What do you think he needed to lean in so close to say? I doubt it was reasonable.
Jon Huntsman decides to step in between them to protect Ron Paul.
I fucking hate bullies!  And though I am not sure what was said here, I can certainly tell from Perry's body language that he was trying to intimidate Ron Paul, who might be a nut, but he is a harmless nut, and does NOT deserve to be disrespected in this manner!

(Big Hat tip to Market Ticker Forum.)

Update: I have no idea if this means I have slipped into an alternate universe or just eaten a batch of bad mushrooms, but somehow I found myself in agreement with the Sea O'Pee on Rick Perry and his bullying techniques.  I will try to make sure that NEVER happens again.

I mean talk about "jumping the shark!"

Wednesday, September 07, 2011

Just in case you missed it, here is the ENTIRE Republican debate from earlier tonight. With a side order of tweets!

I have to say that I actually had fun watching this.

I really like watching Republicans go for each others jugular.

I tweeted my fingers to the bone during this debate, so rather than write up a whole long post concerning my opinion about who won, who lost, and who said the stupidest thing, I will just let you read my highly informative, truly inspired, and potentially libelous tweets. (And remember, I MAY have been drinking during the debate.)

Perry is talking. I am pinching myself to remind me I am not having a nightmare about George W. Bush.

Matthews should be happy. Romney is trying to kick Perry in the balls. He is missing, but he is trying.

Okay Romney landed one. Does Perry believe he is responsible for the oil in the ground in Texas?

Wait is that Santorum? Here let me Google him to make sure.

Herman Cain is going for the applause lines. Why do I crave deep dish pizza all of the sudden?

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! It is "Crazy time with Bachmann!" I LOVE this show!

Is she blaming the economy on "Obamacare?" Uh seriously?(Which by the way does not even start to kick in until 2013.)

Well who could possibly out crazy Bachmann? Mr. Paul, you are up.

Oh Brian Williams is going to get some nasty e-mails tonight! How dare he confront the leprechaun of Libertarianism.

Uh oh, I think Newt is working for the Perry campaign!

Perry smells Romney blood in the water. "Did somebody say healthcare?" he drawls.

Let's sum up Romney's defense. "MY healthcare plan good. Obama healthcare plan bad!"

"Why are people uninsured in Texas?" Perry "Federal government." WTF?

I think Bachamnn just said something smart. I am looking out of the window for locusts and fiery rain.

Newt is attacking the moderators! Quick load up the tranquilizer guns! (Yelled at Brain Williams and that Politco guy to not attempt to make Republicans disagree with each other. I am not sure that Newt understands the concept of a "debate.")

The journalists are "protecting" Barack Obama? When did that happen?

Santorum is speaking in the third person again.

Holy crap! Rick Perry just looked through my television at me. Yeah, I don't like that!

Romney will not say that Bachmann crazy. Pansy!

Paul just kicked Perry in his "Hillarycare" supporting balls.

Ron Paul just jumped the shark with his condemnation of Reagan policies in the eighties. I guess he was ALWAYS on that side of the shark.

Yeah Rick Perry, why do you hate old people? (Called Social Security a "Ponzi scheme.")

Perry attacks Karl Rove? Ooh that is going to leave a mark!

Romney found chink in the Perry armor.

Oh NOW Perry does not want to fight. Yeah, that is how bullies ALWAYS respond.

Herman Cain is talking about the Chile model. Why is that man always making me hungry?

Funniest line thus far. Ron Paul saying "I as President."

I think I have to agree with Perry about the HPV vaccine. I hate myself for it, but I do.

Romney is supporting Perry on the HPV vaccine. Crap I hate it when they stop fighting!

Why is Newt talking about WMDs again? Somebody get the man a calendar.

Paul hates people affected by natural disasters. What did people do before FEMA? They died.

Huntsman wants to talk about something important. And his tan is VERY Presidential. He wins points with me.

Newt offers solution to education. "Get rid of public education!" So simple, why didn't anybody else think of that?

Hey! How come the Hispanic moderator does not get a chair?

Romney wants a border fence. That is just for YOU Teabaggers. Romney loves you, don't forget.

Wow, Romney just went full Teabagger!

Santorum punts the immigration issue concerning the illegals already in the country.

Hispanics wants us to stop helping illegal aliens? "Screw you Uncle Jesus, get your green card!" (Bachmann claimed to have spoken to Hispanics who did not want Federal dollars spent on illegal immigrants in this country.)

Wow everything is so simple for Herman Cain. He is either a genius, or Herman Cain.

Paul going after the drug laws. The stoner voting block is his for the asking.

Ron Paul said that those border fences might keep us from vacationing in Peurto Vallarta. I KNEW those fences weren't for the Mexicans! (Ron Paul had said the border fences are to keep Americans in.)

Romney says he IS member of Tea Party. Baggers say "Nuh uh!"

Bachmann is trying to channel Reagan. Nancy looks doubtful.

Huntsman says no to pledges and immediately starts to lose his voice. Somewhere Grover Nordquist is choking a voodoo doll.

Bachmann: "Obama is weakening our military." Yes because killing terrorists makes the rest of the world think we are push overs.

Huntsman defends science? I thought he was a Republican?

Perry grabbed the scientists by the scruff of the neck and throws them under his big ole Texas bus. Now that is a Republican!  (In response to Perry saying that the findings on climate science are not agreed to by most scientists.)

(I did correct a few spelling mistakes, but for the most part those are my tweets as tweeted in the heat of the moment.)

While discussing the top GOP candidates, Jack Cafferty wants to know "Why does America seem allergic to brains?"

Okay I am having some real difficulty buying into Cafferty's assertion that Ron Paul is "talking sense," but other than that his assessment of the frontrunners is dead on.

(H/T to Mediaite.)
