Russia is trying to start a beef between Donald Trump and the Congress.

Dmitry Medvedev with Vladimir Putin.
Courtesy of Newsweek:

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has issued a warning to Donald Trump’s White House that the “U.S. establishment” is preparing to oust him from power and codifying sanctions on Russia is only the first step.

“The U.S. President's signing of the package of new sanctions against Russia will have a few consequences,” Medvedev, Vladimir Putin’s onetime successor in the Kremlin wrote on his Facebook page in Russian and English. “First, it ends hopes for improving our relations with the new U.S. administration. Second, it is a declaration of a full-fledged economic war on Russia.”

“The Trump administration has shown its total weakness by handing over executive power to Congress in the most humiliating way,” Medvedev wrote, lauding the “U.S. establishment” for having “fully outwitted” the White House. Both U.S. chambers passed the bill to take the power of lifting sanctions on Russia from Trump, with an overwhelming majority.

“The issue of new sanctions came about, primarily, as another way to knock Trump down a peg,” the Russian prime minister wrote. “New steps are to come, and they will ultimately aim to remove him from power.”

Jesus Christ! Is that a blatant attempt to freak Trump out about these Russia investigations or what?

And the sad part is that the effort to turn Donald Trump against the federal government is working.
Once again, is ANYBODY still in doubt that Trump and the Russians worked, and are working, together?

The election of Donald Trump is bad for business, well the gun manufacturing business at least.

Courtesy of Yahoo News:

The Obama years were a great time for the gun business.

But since the election of Donald Trump as president and the resulting decline in fears over increased gun regulation, sales in the industry have plummeted.

On Thursday, shares of gunmaker Sturm, Ruger & Co. (RGR) were down as much as 9% after reporting results Wednesday afternoon that missed expectations. In the second quarter, sales for the company were down 22% against the same period last year while profits fell 53%.

In its earnings release, Sturm, Ruger cited, among other factors weighing on results, “Decreased overall consumer demand in 2017 due to stronger-than-normal demand during most of 2016, likely bolstered by the political campaigns for the November 2016 elections.”

Cabela’s (CAB), an outdoors retailer which sells guns, was also down about 1% on Thursday after it reported second quarter retail store sales declined 6.7%.

“Since the fall election, we have continued to see a slowdown in firearms and shooting related categories,” said Cabela’s CEO Tommy Millner.

Aww, let's all shed a tear for the death merchants.

All those years of scaring their customers into believing that Obama was going to take their shiny metal penis extenders away helped to elect Donald Trump and now they are comfortable that they can kill people that piss them off with impunity.

Which is why the NRA is now apparently attempting to start a civil war.

Yep, everybody needs guns to fight in a war, and the gun manufacturers and gun sellers of America are there to help.

Even during contentious child custody case Sarah Palin and Dakota Meyer find common ground. A bias against transgendered people.

I know what you're thinking, but no that it not Sarah Palin pictured above.

It is however a rather disgusting and homophobic tweet sent out by Curt Schilling which resulted in his dismissal from ESPN.

This apparently distracted Palin from her ongoing argument for the destruction of the arctic polar bears, and she posted this on Facebook in response:

ESPN continues to screw up.

This of course feeds into the completely fabricated Right Wing fantasy that transgendered people wish to use the bathrooms only to leer at their women and molest their children.

A fantasy that apparently Dakota Meyer also shares.

dakotameyer0317 People who are arguing for men to gain access to women's restrooms to me are absolutely failing to see the issue on many levels. I have a daughter and as a father it is my duty to ensure her safety and proper environment in which to grow up in. I will be damned if I am going to let a man, cross dresser or otherwise, go into a bathroom with her in it. Going into that bathroom the last issue he has to worry about is how comfortable it makes him feel. And had any taken into consideration the president this sets? Next is these same guys in the locker rooms with your daughter, your wife, or even you. Sorry but this doesn't fly with me.

First off I am fairly certain that Meyer meant to write "precedent" and not "president," but what can one expect from a man who allowed his penis to get close to a Palin?

Secondly this argument feeds off of certain people's innate homophobia, and in fact it is no more likely that a transgender or transsexual man would molest a young girl in a bathroom stall than a regular bible thumping "straight" dude would molest a young boy in one.

Actually to be honest the second scenario is FAR more likely and there is ample data to back that up.

This is just another example of how easily intellectually stunted people are manipulated into hating and fearing people that they really have no reason to hate or fear.

Sarah Palin has decided to use fear to distract you from Bristol's broken, I'm sorry postponed, engagement.

Courtesy of Elvira, Mistress of the Stupid's Facebook page:

It's unfortunate and potentially frightening knowing that everywhere you look today jihad is on the march – even on American soil. Warnings for potential terrorist attacks on our homeland are now stepped up, and with the arrest of dozens of Americans on terrorism related charges, the message is clear that no place seems safe from jihad. (In other words, "Stop talking about a broken engagement, we're all going to die. Die I say!")

Our military personnel and law enforcement agencies have to be right every time, but the terrorists only have to get “lucky” once to do horrible damage to our country. The threat of radical Islam is real, and it must not be allowed to be ignored. (Quick get under the bed, they never think to look there.)

With the recent capture of Ramadi, ISIS has scored a key victory that is more than symbolic as this death cult takes land that Americans spilled blood and treasure to secure. Make no mistake that this situation could have been avoided had the Obama administration heeded the warnings of military brass that urged them to keep a residual force in Iraq to maintain the peace that America and our allies fought so hard for. (Dammit Obama! Wait, that wasn't his fault.)

But it’s never too late to do the right thing. That means getting serious about defeating ISIS at the source while remaining ever vigilant at home. As always, our foreign policy must be rooted in the motto Peace Through Strength. For your part, friends, I encourage you to keep in perspective the issues-of-the-day that media chooses to report on. Demand our leaders and the press keep national priorities straight, and don't allow fear to dictate our actions and change our way of life. To cower in fear is to let the enemy win. So stay vigilant, take personal responsibility for the safety of ourselves and our property, support our troops, and learn through history that we only remain free by being brave.

May God's hand of protection remain on this country that has dedicated herself to Him. (Yeah, speak for yourself lady.)

- Sarah Palin

Okay I'm confused are we, or are we not, supposed to cower in fear?

Or is the point to distract us from the fact that the wedding of the century is now the broken engagement of the week?

As for fighting ISIS didn't we just kill one of their leaders, and aren't we helping Iraqi fighters prepare to take Ramadi back?

No I think the President and his administration can continue to clean up the mess left by the Bush administration without any help from Sarah Palin.

Besides it sounds to me as if she has an insurgency of her own to deal with at home.

Okay fine if Ebola is not scary enough anymore, then Sarah Palin reminds us that ISIS still wants to kill you in your sleep. Boo!

Courtesy of the Wicked Witch of the Right's Facebook page:

The rise of ISIS is a monumental threat to everyone’s security made worse by Obama’s gross miscalculations about the rise of these Islamic terrorists who are hell-bent on raising the flag of Allah over our White House. He must listen to the experts on this issue of life and death for America and the world, and the experts have made that task easier for our Commander-in-Chief by explaining ISIS in detail in a new book titled “The Rise of ISIS.” Bristol wrote about it here; please see...

And yes then Palin directs you to the ghostwritten blog of the pugilistic Bristol Palin, where you will find this blurb promoting a new book:

Do you ever feel like there’s just so much stuff in the news to be worried about?

Sometimes, it’s all so hard to understand. For example, why are there beheadings, mass executions, and crucifixions all over the news?

The new wave of anti-Christian abuse has been called the “worst religious persecution since the Holocaust.”

If you’re like me, you had never heard of ISIS, before all of the beheadings. But they are the richest and deadliest terrorists in history… and they have the money, power, people, and will to do exactly what they’d laid out. Basically, they want to annihilate us.

The post then goes on to discuss a new book called "The Rise of Isis: The Threat We Can't Ignore."

Terrifying right?

And this book is SO good that it required four authors to write the thing. One of whom, oddly enough, is also the husband of Nancy French who is the aforementioned ghostwriter of Bristol's blog.

Gee it almost seems that Nancy is wearing her Bristol Palin costume to promote a book for her husband, while Sarah Palin's ghostwriter provides back up.

It almost makes you wonder if Sarah and Bristol even know what their blog and Facebook page are being used for these days.

After all why would a young mother who is currently fighting a child custody battle in Alaska, really care that much about promoting a book that seeks to gin up fear over ISIS?

You know, unless she gets a taste.
