Sarah Palin says that any person who joins a terrorist organization should lose their citizenship. She may have a point.

Message to would-be ISIS recruits: Sarah Palin doesn’t want you back. The former Alaska governor and current media firebrand said in a Facebook post Friday that Americans who leave the country to join a foreign terrorist organization should be stripped of their citizenship. 

 “As crazy as it sounds, a U.S. citizen who leaves this country to join ISIS, al Qaeda, or any other terrorist organization does not immediately lose his or her citizenship,” Palin wrote in the post. “That needs to change!” 

The post, which was accompanied by a video in which Palin spoke of the “threat of radical Islam,” was shared more than 1,200 times within two hours. “It’s a simple fact that some people are drawn to ISIS’s brutality,” Palin says in the video. “They’re actually inspired by videos of beheadings and burnings. They actually believe ISIS’s religious message.”

Well of course stripping an American of their citizenship flies, without due process, in the face of the Fourteenth Amendment which states that; "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." But why should such a detail bother Palin?

Yeah that sort of makes it hard to enforce a rule which suggests that these individuals "immediately lose his or her citizenship" without first giving them the opportunity to be tried before a jury of their peers. 

Of course I'm sure that does not Palin any pause since the only part of the Constitution she seems to care about is the 2nd Amendment.

However I am not completely in disagreement with her point of view here.

I think that people who run off to join ISIS should probably be detained when they reenter the United States as a possible threat to our security, and if warranted imprisoned or even exiled.

IF they are first found guilty of course.

But hey why stop there. I mean if we are going to take away the citizenship of Americans who go overseas to collaborate with anti-American groups and terrorist organizations why not do the same to people who do it right here on our shores.

The FBI has labeled the sovereign citizen group a terrorist organization.

So I would guess that anybody who fraternized with a group like that, the Alaska Independence Party for instance, might need to be scrutinized by the Federal government to determine if they represent a potential threat.

And if that person were also known to support anti-government groups like the Tea Party, and hang out with folks who had made actual threats against the President of the United States and his Secretary of State like this guy..... 

...well I would think that somebody like that would be hanging onto their citizenship by a thread.

You know it is such a rarity when I even minimally agree with Sarah Palin, that when I do it represents kind of a nice change. Don't you agree?

I can hardly wait until this next 2014 political season when Miller really gets out there and starts running for the GOP Senate nomination. I have so MANY surprises in store for him.

By the way I started growing a beard a week before Thanksgiving and my magnificent facial foliage makes Joe Miller look like a prepubescent wannabe.

If Sarah Palin leaves the Republican party she has no place to go. To put it bluntly NOBODY wants her.

Former vice presidential candidate and Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska, openly mulled leaving the Republican Party in a Saturday interview on Fox News, citing her "libertarian streak." The Libertarian Party, frequently a refuge for renegade Republicans, isn't sure that she would be a good fit – and the Reform Party, too, says it has "zero interest" in Palin. 

"[W]hile a few of Sarah Palin's views are aligned with those of the Libertarian Party, her pro-interventionist foreign policy, her support of the 2008 Republican-led bailouts, her loyal support of Big Government Republicans, her social conservative agenda and her lack of concrete backing for any serious downsizing of Big Government runs afoul of the Libertarian Party's goals and most Libertarians' views," the Libertarian Party's executive director, Carla Howell, told U.S. News. 

Palin could conceivably find a home in the Constitution or Reform parties - but the Reform Party, which had its heyday in the 1990s, is entirely uninterested. 

"The Reform Party would probably have zero interest in Sarah Palin," Reform Party Chairman David Collison told U.S. News. "The primary reason is that we are not really as closely aligned with the tea party as people would think." 

Collison said his party aspires to be viewed as centrist, and embraces activists affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement. "Palin would basically torpedo that," he said.

As if that was not bad enough I had heard in the past that even Alaska's AIP party was keeping their distance. Essentially Palin is  poison and just about everybody knows it.

And the misses just keep on coming for Palin as the Washington Post examined her claim that Hispanics are against an immigration bill and gave her three Pinocchios for being such a dumb ass. 

However Buzzfeed might leave the biggest mark on her punditry pinata as they discover that before Palin was against passing immigration reform which contained amnesty for illegals, she was for it.

Well she wanted people to pay attention to her again, and they certainly are.

The idea that there is a single person on this planet who has not caught Sarah Palin telling at least one...wow! My mind is blown.

Lets' do a real quick rundown, just off of the top of my head, shall we?

Lied about Todd belonging to the AIP.

Lied about why she quit her job.

Wrong about what Paul Revere was warning about.

Lied about when she knew she was being vetted as McCain's VP choice.

Lied about planning to run for office in 2012.

Wrong about the success of the natural gas pipeline.

Lied about Todd's connection to prostitution.

Lied about being proficient with firearms.

Wrong about Kodiak Island being America's biggest island.

Lies about why her son joined the military.

Wrong about  the Founding Fathers saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

Lied about being pregnant.

Lied about leasking amniotic fluid.

Lied about giving birth on April 18, 2008.

Do I really even need to go on?

The question with Sarah Palin is not how often she has lied, the question is, does she EVER tell the truth.

Of course come to think of it, the same question could be asked of Rush Limbaugh.

The ADN provides undercover video of Schaeffer Cox discussing murder plans with his co-defendants and FBI informant. Update!

Cox, in his trademark newsboy's cap, says he could tolerate going to jail, but it would be "killing time" if the authorities took his family; Vernon and Cox talk about going to war against authorities; and Cox thinks that the only thing keeping the authorities from killing him is the "cost" that would be inflicted by the militia, but later says he doesn't think the militia is strong enough to sustain a long-term conflict. 

The last two clips, taken with Olson's hidden camera and two more hidden in his vehicle, are of the "take down" sting on March 10, 2011, first of Vernon (in front passenger seat) and his wife Karen, then of Cox (in rear seat) and codefendant Coleman Barney as each examines a silencer-equipped .22 pistol and a hand grenade obtained from an FBI informant. 

The Cox and Barney bust was compromised when a man walked up and pointed out the "whole line of guys out there with bulletproof vests."

Yeah I think this is pretty compelling evidence, and I don't think the defense's attempt to blame this whole thing on William Fulton, or FBI entrapment, will hold much sway over the jury after they see this.

I am currently trying to get the MSM to pay attention to the connections between this case, Palin, and the new chairman of the Alaska GOP. There is more that connects Schaeffer Cox to Russ Millette, but I need the help of reputable journalists to dig it out and bring it to the attention of the American people.

The important fact to keep in mind is that this GOP takeover was originally orchestrated by Palin and her goons almost eight years ago, and has only NOW come to fruition through the co-opting of the Ron Paul movement.  In essence the AIP, 2nd Amendment Task Force, and various militia groups have taken over Alaska politics.

By the way, I checked in with my sources again, and for those of you who doubted the impact of Fulton's admission in court the other day that he was introduced to Cox by Palin operatives Joe Miller and Frank Bailey, my understanding is that it sent a shock wave through the courtroom, and also got attention of federal law enforcement.

However in order for the resources needed to investigate this to be provided by the Feds there really kind of needs to be some interest on the part of journalists.  In other words, the Feds are somewhat wary about really going after this angle (Blame the Ted Stevens debacle.), but will feel compelled to do so if there is enough heat on them from the public at large.

So while Geoffrey Dunn's Huffington Post article was a very good start, we really need to keep spreading this connection far and wide.

And just to add a little more drama and sense of urgency, what is happening in Alaska to the Republican party is ALSO taking place all across the country, but it is just not catching the attention of the local reporters.

In my opinion things are about to get VERY scary, very quickly if people don't wake up to what is taking place right under their noses.

Update: News is filtering out of the courthouse that Schaeffer Cox has now requested that he be named co-counsel so that he can help defend himself and question witnesses. Apparently he does not think his lawyer is doing an adequate job.

And just when you thought this trial could not get anymore entertaining!

Just how did Schaeffer Cox meet FBI informant "Drop Zone Bill?" And what does it have to do with Sarah Palin?

I have been closely following the trial of Francis "Schaeffer" Cox this summer, mostly through the incredibly detailed court reporting of Jeanne Devon of Mudflats fame, though admittedly I have been focused on the revelation of a certain detail that I had learned through sources and was waiting to have testified to in a court of law.

Yesterday that detail became part of the official record, when William Fulton finally made his long awaited court appearance:

Nelson Traverso for the defense: When did you first meet Mr. Cox? 

Fulton: At the 2008 Republican convention, Sir. I was introduced to Mr. Cox by Joe Miller and Frank Bailey in my hotel room. We were having a meeting on a strategy session for the next day. 

Traverso: Joe Miller, the ex-candidate Joe Miller? 

Fulton: Yes, sir.

Okay now just savor that for a moment won't you?

The future FBI informant was FIRST introduced to the future domestic terrorist, by both future Tea Party favorite, Sarah Palin butt-boy, and future Senate candidate Joe Miller AND Sarah Palin Chief of Staff, Frank Bailey.

And what were they there to discuss? "We were having a meeting on a strategy session for the next day."

As I wrote earlier Joe Miller and Sarah Palin had teamed up in 2008 in an attempt to take over the Alaska Republican party.  That attempt failed, however just recently another attempt by Miller and, Schaeffer Cox recruit, Russ Millette was much more successful.

Okay so just to tie all of this together, Sarah Palin operatives, Frank Bailey and Joe Miller, were close enough associates of Schaeffer Cox to introduce him in a hotel room to future FBI informant and militia "supply sergeant" William Fulton, in order to hatch a plan on how to wrest control of the Alaska GOP away from Randy Reuderich and the "good old boys" club.

And today, hiding behind the Ron Paul label, that plan has been implemented.

So, WHO is in charge of this new Republican party? Well I can tell you this, it's NOT Ron Paul!

Now of course there are a lot of other strings yet to be tied up, and Miller, Bailey, and Palin's connection to all of this is much deeper than this reveals as of yet, however I have been assured that the true story (And it is a doozy!), will be reported some time after this case is finally wrapped up.

However until then hopefully having this connection between Cox, Bailey, Miller, and Palin on the court transcripts will be enough to shake some reporters awake to the now much more obvious connections between the AIP, the sovereign citizens moment, the militias, and our half term ex-Governor Sarah Palin.

P.S. Before I close this post I just want to give a shout out to the exemplary work done by Jeanne Devon.  I had hoped to be in the courtroom myself for much of this trial, however my work responsibilities have kept me away, but having her do such an amazing job has really made it almost seem that I was there as well. Huge hat tip to Mudflats!

Just how much daylight is there between Todd Palin's old party, the Alaska Independence Party, and the militias in Alaska? As it turns out, not much at all.

For quite some time now the AIP has been very, very quiet about the arrest of Francis "Schaeffer" Cox, which I thought was kind of interesting since I have long believed that the AIP shares a number of members with various militias around the state.

In fact Mary Morgan, Shaeffer's number one fan and currently incarcerated domestic terrorist, appears to be a member of both. In fact she is STILL listed as an AIP contact person for the Muldoon/Mountain View/Wonder Park area.

However I have recently learned that this connection was made virtually official back in 2010, when the AIP offered Alaska Citizens Militia founder Norm Olson the Lt. Governor position on their party's ticket:

AIP leadership met Friday in Nikiski and selected Norm Olson, of Nikiski, co-founder of the Michigan Militia and Alaska Citizens Militia, as its nominee for lieutenant governor. 

Olson said he was contacted by party representatives Friday and asked to consider the party’s lieutenant governor slot on the November general election ballot, to run with Don Wright as the AIP candidate for governor. 

“There’s nothing about the Alaskan Independence Party that I don’t like. It’s just great,” Olson said. “And when I was asked to run as their lieutenant governor in the upcoming elections I jumped on the bandwagon and accepted the nomination and threw my hat in the ring, so to speak.”

Now for reasons that are still a little hazy ( Ray Southwell, AIP state senate candidate and Alaska Citizens militia co-founder: “I’ve known Norm Olson for 25 years and I knew that once he was appraised of the situation or the circumstances leading up to the Friday meeting that he would withdraw his name.”) Olson was only the nominee for one weekend, before he bailed.

However for that one weekend Olson seemed to believe that his Lt. Governor nomination (For a party that had no hope of winning the election mind you) was tantamount to being nominated for emperor of Alaska.

Recently arrested Alaska Peacekeeper's Militia member had bomb making information and research on biotoxins in her truck. Holy crap!

The arrest of the secretary of the Alaska Peacemaker Militia late last month at a Canadian border crossing has raised questions about what Mary Ann Morgan was up to when she tried to leave Alaska for our neighbor to the east. 

No one yet knows where Morgan, a Kenai resident and member of the sovereign citizen movement, was headed or what she planned to do once she got there. But federal prosecutors say mounds of paperwork she had with her prove there’s reason to be concerned. Recipes for pipe bombs, home-cooked explosives and information about deadly poisons were among the items seized from her truck, along with extensive information about firearms and how to handle them. She also had with her documents related to tactical and close combat training. 

“The possession of this information provides the court with a very clear picture of the defendant’s intentions and mindset,” prosecutor Steven Skrocki wrote in a motion seeking Morgan’s continued detention. “Where Ms. Morgan was headed, and why, is unknown. But the items she carried with her speak volumes about her future course.” 

The highly lethal biotoxin Ricin was among the poisons Morgan had researched. Very low doses can kill a person, and Ricin is at the heart of an alleged militia plot out of Georgia to blow up and poison justice department officials, federal judges and IRS employees in several states Outside. Arrests were made Tuesday in that case, just five days after Morgan was intercepted.

As I am  sure many of you know this nutjob is a disciple of Schaeffer Cox, and clearly prepared to do some serious damage to those she believes are stepping on her rights as a "sovereign citizen."

And by the way she is full goose bonzo as indicated by the following:

Like arrested militia leader Schaeffer Cox, Morgan has a history of dismissing the authority of Alaska courts. Working to stop proceedings for a friend charged with speeding and a license plate violation, Morgan notified the Alaska Court system that her friend is an ambassador and therefore outside the jurisdiction of a regional court. The only proper venue, she reasoned, citing the U.S. Constitution, was the Alaska Supreme Court. 

“You will CEASE AND DESIST all actions against Ambassador David, past present, and future,” Morgan wrote in a letter to the court. “Should you persist in any way to continue it can be perceived as an Act of War upon the Kingdom of the Most High God, of which David is an Ambassador. As you do not have any form of jurisdiction over him, you are to hereby release him immediately.”

Well okay then. I think we can all agree that this person presents a clear and continuing danger to law enforcement in this state, as well as to her fellow Alaskans, and should remain in custody.

I don't think it is too surprising that Morgan is connected to Cox and his band of pretend soldiers, but what is a little more troubling is that she is also listed as a contact person for the AIP (Todd Palin's old political party) where she seems to currently represent Senate District J, the Muldoon/Mountain View/Wonder Park area, even though according to the FBI she lives in Kenai. (And yes it is the same Mary Morgan, as indicated by the fact that her e-mail on the AIP page is the same as the one listed on her profile over on the Alaska Citizens Militia website.)

You know it seems the AIP has taken great pains to make distance between themselves and the conduct of Schaeffer Cox and his militia, but perhaps it is time for local reporters to ask just how closely tied they might be to these kinds of domestic terrorist activities?

Federal agents recorded Shaeffer Cox and other militia members plotting to murder Alaska State Troopers and judges. (And also learn of his connection to Sarah Palin.) Reading this will make your blood run cold.

Cox had originally been arrested in March 2010 for approaching a police officer and failing to disclose that he was carrying a concealed gun. When Cox did not show up for a Feb. 14 court appearance, a judge issued the arrest warrant and Cox went into hiding with his wife and child.

Cox and his associates had been plotting in the days before the scheduled court hearing, according to prosecutors. The militia leader detailed his plot at a meeting on Feb. 12 that was secretly recorded by the FBI.

Cox wanted militia members to respond with violence if authorities tried to arrest him on the misdemeanor warrant, the charging documents say. He allegedly told the militia members, "I know you're ready to die, but you have to be ready to kill," according to an FBI recording referred to in the criminal complaint.

 "At that February 12th meeting COX specifically unveiled his "241" (two for one) plan which called for his militia to respond to attempts to arrest or kill him by responding against state court or law enforcement targets with twice the force and consequences as happened to him or his family," according to the criminal complaint. "If he was arrested, two state targets would be "arrested" (kidnapped). If he was killed, two state targets would be killed. If his house was taken, two state target houses would be burned."

During the time that Cox and his wife were hiding from the law, they were staying in the house of fellow militia member, and tax evader Lonni Vernon's house.  Unsurprisingly Vernon is just as unhinged as Shaeffer Cox.

On Feb. 17, Lonnie and Karen Vernon met with a militia member at a restaurant, according to court documents. Lonnie said he didn't agree with Cox when Cox said the militia was not strong enough to carry out Plan 241. They talked about having two-man teams create diversions, while other two-man teams carried out the attacks.

According to the complaint, "The plan would then have the tactical teams going to the target's houses, cutting the power, shooting the inhabitants as they come out to check on their power; then the team would kick the target's residence's doors in, kill everybody inside and set the house on fire. Then the team would lay in hiding and take out the initial responding officer before moving on to the next target."

Karen Vernon is alleged to have said, "It's war now," and that survivors of the shootings would "cook like in an oven."

As I have written before these groups are extraordinarily dangerous in their belief that they have the right to engage in guerrilla military tactics to "defend" themselves against the Federal government, or in Shaeffer's case at least, ANY law enforcement that they feel infringes on their personal rights as "sovereigns." In other words they are not accountable, nor do they recognize, any authority other than God and the original Constitution of the United States. You know before it became watered down with all of those pesky Amendments.

This same FU point of view toward the Federal government is prevalent up here and can be found not only in the Alaska Militia, but also the so-called 2nd Amendment Task Force, the Alaska Independence Party (You know, the one Todd belonged to, and to which Sarah delivered that address for their convention in 2008.), and many other  splinter groups scattered across Alaska as well.

And if you are thinking that this kind of "We don't have to follow the rules" rhetoric sounds familiar, than congratulations because you have made the obvious connection between these dangerous nutjobs and their defacto leader (Though shhh, nobody is supposed to know that.).

And if you think I am trying a little to hard to tie the Grizzled Mama to this bunch of dangerous anti-American criminals, than just allow Schaeffer Cox himself tell you of their affiliation. (The pertinent part starts at the 2:50 mark.)



For those who have believed that I have gone after Sarah Palin so hard out of a personal dislike, or simple ideological differences, you could not be more mistaken.  You see I know the kind of people, and anti-American politics, that Sarah Palin represents. These anti-government thugs have helped her every step of the way in her career and hoped that with a pretty face as the symbol of their ideology that they could finally get control of this country.

(Leaders of the AIP)Chryson and Stoll viewed Palin's ascendancy as a vehicle for their own political ambitions. "She got support from these guys," Stein remarked. "I think smart politicians never utter those kind of radical things, but they let other people do it for them. I never recall Sarah saying she supported the militia or taking a public stand like that. But these guys were definitely behind Sarah, thinking she was the more conservative choice."

"They worked behind the scenes," said Stein. "I think they had a lot of influence in terms of helping with the back-scatter negative campaigning."

But the TRUE face of their idealogy is represented in the video right above these words. And that face belongs to Shaeffer Cox.

In fact the Teabaggers, who Sarah Palin helped to create, are really just a cleaned up version of the AIP and miltia groups from Alaska that have now found a voice on the national stage.  Just like those who first supported Sarah Palin always hoped would some day come to fruition.

Somebody might need to tell Joe the Teabagger that his plans for rejecting Federal dollars in favor of the "vast wealth beneath our feet" might be even more ignorant than we all thought.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a revised estimate for the amount of conventional, undiscovered oil in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska is a fraction of a previous estimate.

The group estimates about 896 million barrels of such oil are in the reserve, about 90 percent less than a 2002 estimate of 10.6 billion barrels.

The new estimate is mainly due to the incorporation of new data from recent exploration drilling revealing gas occurrence rather than oil in much of the area, the geological survey said.

"These new findings underscore the challenge of predicting whether oil or gas will be found in frontier areas," USGS Director Dr. Marcia McNutt said in a statement. "It is important to re-evaluate the petroleum potential of an area as new data becomes available."

The organization also estimates 8 trillion cubic feet less gas than a 2002 estimate of 61 trillion cubic feet of undiscovered, conventional, non-associated gas -- meaning gas found in discrete accumulations with little to no crude oil in the reservoir.

Whoops!  Don't you just hate in when your poorly researched and fantasy based ideas for moving the state away from the Obama socialist Federal money turns out to be nothing more than an AIP endorsed wet dream?



"There's a hell of a lot less what?"



So Mr. "We don't need no stinking Federal dollars," what's plan B?
