Courtesy of CNN:
Rob Porter was involved in serious discussions to be promoted when he abruptly resigned from the White House last week amid allegations that he abused his two ex-wives, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.
His anticipated elevation further highlights how top White House officials were willing to overlook indications from the FBI that there were potential abuse allegations in his background in exchange for professional competence in a tumultuous West Wing.
Porter had been actively lobbying to take on new policy portfolios outside the traditional scope of the staff secretary, one person familiar with the matter said, which included speechwriting duties and a role in planning policy rollouts. Neither of those tasks is traditionally carried out by the staff secretary.
He was also being considered for the deputy chief of staff position, another source familiar with the situation said. CNN reported Friday that Jim Carroll, who served as the deputy chief of staff for less than three months, was stepping down to helm the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Several White House officials, including chief of staff John Kelly, were receptive to promoting Porter. Kelly had told associates that Porter was one of the few competent professionals on his staff and wanted to ensure that he was being used to his full potential. CNN has reported that Kelly was aware for months of the potential that Porter's ex-wives could present damaging information on him.
Kelly "definitely wanted to expand his role," a source familiar tells CNN.
Like I said it is likely a prerequisite for a job in this White House to be a predator.
And if you actually beat your wife, well hell that's a promotion!
Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Nazi sympathizer upset that he lost his job after the Washington Post revealed that he was a Nazi sympathizer.
Courtesy of WaPo:
Tony Hovater, the white nationalist and Nazi sympathizer featured in a controversial New York Times article this weekend, said he lost his job and would soon lose his home following a swift backlash over the article.
Hovater, a 29-year-old Ohio resident, told The Washington Post on Wednesday that he has been fired from his job and that he and his wife, Maria, are in the process of moving out of their home in New Carlisle, Ohio, for financial and safety reasons. They could no longer afford to pay the rent, he said, and somebody had published their home address online.
“It’s not for the best to stay in a place that is now public information,” he said, adding later: “We live alone. No one else is there to watch the house while I’m away.”
The lengthy Times profile that was published Saturday portrayed the daily and seemingly normal life of Hovater, whom writer Richard Fausset described as the “Nazi sympathizer next door” and a “committed foot soldier” of the far-right movement. The article also described Hovater as a “Seinfeld” fan whose “Midwestern manners would please anyone’s mother.”
Hovater said that he, his wife and his brother-in-law were fired Monday. All three worked at 571 Grill & Draft House, a small restaurant in New Carlisle.
The restaurant’s owners said in a statement Wednesday that they did not know of Hovater’s white nationalist views until the Times article was published. They said the article illustrated “some very disturbing images and thoughts” that they do not share.
That is the problem with people finding out you are a Nazi, they tend to be less than impressed by the news.
Personally I do not feel even a little remorse that this asshole lost his job. I do feel a little pity for his children however, and I certainly do not support the threats made against his family or the restaurant where he once worked since that is indefensible.
As for suddenly being unemployed, well I am sure there is a job at Bretbart just waiting for him.
P.S. Here is the original article that started the trouble.

Bicyclist who flipped Donald Trump's motorcade the bird has been fired.
Remember this woman?
Remember how much we all admired her?
Yeah, well she lost her damn job:
The woman’s name is Juli Briskman. Her employer, government contractor Akima LLC, wasn’t so happy about the photo. They fired her over it.
In a Saturday interview with HuffPost, Briskman, a 50-year-old mother of two, said she was stunned that someone had taken a picture of her giving Trump the middle finger.
As the photo circulated online, Briskman decided to tell Akima’s HR department what was happening when she went to work on Monday. By Tuesday, her bosses called her into a meeting and said she had violated the company’s social media policy by using the photo as her profile picture on Twitter and Facebook.
“They said, ‘We’re separating from you,‘” said Briskman. “Basically, you cannot have ‘lewd’ or ‘obscene’ things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off ‘obscene.’”
Briskman, who worked in marketing and communications at Akima for just over six months, said she emphasized to the executives that she wasn’t on the job when the incident happened and that her social media pages don’t mention her employer. They told her that because Akima was a government contractor, the photo could hurt their business, she said.
Well that is just fucked up.
Here this woman expressed the emotions felt by the vast majority of the American people in this country, and she gets canned?
Don't you feel that Donald Trump is behind this, cause I certainly do.
Well here's my prediction.
I bet money that there are company executives who are reading about this woman's situation right now, and I bet in the next several days she will have a different job, with better pay, and a more secure future.
After all this is still America isn't it?
If our rights to freely express ourselves and to protest authoritarianism are no longer valid, then Donald Trump and his deplorables truly have won haven't they?

In the least surprising news of the day, Jason Chaffetz, who suddenly up and quit Congress, is headed over to Fox News.
Fox News has hired Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) to be a contributor for the cable news channel after the congressman ends his House term early on June 30.
Chaffetz will start his role at Fox on July 1, according to a statement from the network.
"In this role he will offer political analysis across FNC and FOX Business Network’s (FBN) daytime and primetime programming," the network said.
The Utah congressman and head of the House Oversight Committee announced in May that he he would resign from Congress to pursue other opportunities.
Shortly after, Washingtonian reported that he'd been telling fellow lawmakers he planned to join Fox News.
Yeah I actually reported this possibility last month as well.
And besides what else is this POS really qualified to do but exaggerate bullshit, attack Democrats, and talk out of his ass?
He will fit in great over at Fox News, and probably soon get his own show.
Perhaps he can appear as a guest on his own show and ask himself what made him flee his cushy job in the Congress so quickly?
I might even tune in to hear the truth about that.

White House considers giving Milwaukee Sheriff, who once called Hillary Clinton a "morally bankrupt," "straight up cop hater," the position of Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security.
Courtesy of Politico:
The White House is considering David Clarke, the sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, for a position at the Department of Homeland Security, three people familiar with the administration’s planning told POLITICO.
Clarke is in line to be appointed as assistant secretary at DHS’ Office of Partnership and Engagement, which coordinates outreach to state, local and tribal officials and law enforcement. The position does not require Senate confirmation.
A senior administration official cautioned it’s “not a done deal yet.”
Clarke, a longtime supporter of President Donald Trump, has long been rumored as a possible candidate for a job in the administration and met with Trump in November at Trump Tower. He also spoke at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last year.
Besides making the aforementioned remarks about Hillary Clinton, he was also sued for negligent homicide after a prisoner gave birth and her baby died in one of his jails.
That was only one of four deaths that happened in a six month time frame.
So considering this man's considerable baggage, and the fact that he is not exactly lily white like most folks hired by the White House, what was the deciding factor that made Clarke such an attractive candidate?
Nothing says you have the right stuff for a job in the Trump Administration like ties with Russia.

Training Day.
Just so you know I am in training today, which means there may be a delay before I can publish your comments.
It might be completely unnoticeable, but then again there might be an hour or two between times when I can check my phone.
I have to admit I really hate this particular training as it involves a lot of hands on instruction and requires a lot of up close and personal interactions with people I do not know.
I think I have taken this particular class around 18 or 19 times, so though it is not new to me it is still a huge pain in my ass.
I have held this job for twenty years this June and perhaps the worst part is the yearly re-certifications.
I also hate that this is happening on a Friday which is notorious as a news dump day, but if you see anything you think I should know about put it in the comments and I will hopefully get to it later on tonight or tomorrow.
I have already written multiple posts that will show up as the day progresses, so don't think I will not provide content for you to enjoy.
Have a great day, and thanks for making IM a priority to visit in your very busy lives.

Jason Chaffetz town hall erupts into chants of "Do your job!"
Courtesy of Vox:Cong Chaffetz Town Hall crowd chanting "Do your job!" He's having a hard time answering over crowd noise @UtahIndivisible @IndivisibleTeam pic.twitter.com/gO0BXybGy5— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) February 10, 2017
Hundreds of people shouted down Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) at a town hall he held in his home district on Thursday night, with many yelling “Do your job!” at the chair of the House Oversight Committee.
Chaffetz has come under fire for taking few actions against either Donald Trump’s international business empire and the potential conflicts of interest it creates, or pushing Trump to release his tax returns. As the chair of the committee tasked with investigating “waste, fraud, and abuse” in the federal government, Chaffetz is perhaps the government official with the most power to check Trump’s unprecedented potential to leverage the White House for private gain.
But so far, Chaffetz has issued no subpoenas, called for no hearings, and scheduled no meetings to investigate Trump's potential abuse of the office. (He has asked the General Services Administration for documents related to Trump’s hotel in DC, and on Thursday called Kellyanne Conway “wrong, wrong, wrong” for publicly endorsing Ivanka Trump’s label.) Critics have pointed out that Chaffetz was relentless in his investigation of the executive branch during President Barack Obama’s administration, particularly over Hillary Clinton’s role in the Benghazi scandal.
And remember Chaffetz as recently as last month has said that he will continue investigating Hillary Clinton over that bullshit e-mail infraction, and yet he has done NOTHING about the almost countless infractions coming from Doanld Trump and his administration.
He is a partisan POS and I am VERY glad that he is being called out publicly for it.
I swear I am staring to get all excited again about the future of our country.

Donald Trump may treat the presidency as a part time job.
Courtesy of New York Magazine:
It turns out that one of the Trump transition team’s many duties will be helping President-elect Trump decide just how many nights he’ll have to sleep at the White House each week. The New York Times reports that Trump has told his advisors that he would like to continue to spend as much time as he can at his beloved Trump Tower penthouse in New York, and may retreat there, or to one of his other estates in New Jersey or Florida, on the weekends. The sudden dilemma for Trump, who labored to sleep at his New York home as much as possible during his campaign, has emerged as he recovers from his apparent shock at actually winning and comes to terms with how being president is going to completely upend his preferred lifestyle.
Trump advisors, however, are hoping that Trump will eventually warm up to White House living as “he grows less overwhelmed and more comfortable in the job.”
Jeezus Fucking Christ on a cracker!
You fight all the way though a contentious primary, you battle through the ugliest general election in American history, and when you win you just aren't sure you want to be on the clock full time?
Seriously?
And let's not forget that he cheated a woman out of the job who ready on day one and more qualified than any other president before her.
And now he only wants to do the job on HIS schedule?
Has he not seen the head of gray hair that now adorns our current President?
THAT is there because for the last eight years he has been our President for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and fifty two weeks a year.
Even when he was on one of those golfing excursions the Right Wing gave him so much shit over he was on the job. He was on the job when he was eating, when he was sleeping, when he was shitting, and even when he was making sweet love to the First Lady.
There is no fucking time off when you are president!
But hey, if Trump does not feel he is up to the job I know a certain super qualified woman who would gladly take it off of his hands.

In wake of the new SarahPAC numbers Bristol Palin is turning her grift up to eleven. "Let's bring in the kids."
You know I was trying to avoid posting anything with Tripp's face in it, however I thought it was important to illustrate how Bristol is using her kids to convince people to buy this shitty energy so that she can receive a kick back.A photo posted by Bristol Meyer (@bsmp2) on
In some ways it's hard to blame her because Sarah has used children for everything, including as a human shield, a distraction for the media, an excuse not to do her job, attempts to raise money, and even as leverage to control certain family members.
However in another way it is perfectly reasonable to blame Bristol because she is a grown ass woman who went through this herself and should know how to shield her children from a similar experience.
It's called a job Bristol, most everybody has to get one, a real one, at some point in their life.

RAM gets a job.
Courtesy of Breitbart (Of course.):
The Breitbart News Network (@BreitbartNews) announced today the addition of Rebecca Mansour, former speechwriter and close aide to Governor Sarah Palin, as their Senior West Coast Editor.
“Rebecca has all the qualities we search for at Breitbart: integrity, intelligence, and fighting spirit. Her indefatigable nature ensures she will be an impact player. Through her work for Governor Palin, she has been in the trenches fighting the political and cultural battles that inspired the rise of the Tea Party and still dominate our national discourse,” said Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon.
Bannon you may remember was the director of that Palin mythological "documentary" The Undefeated. Which in light of recent events seems eve more ironic today.
So seeing Mansour invited to be part of a team now headed by a dedicated Palin worshiper is not exactly surprising.
Of course Bannon was able to get a quote directly from the Grizzled Mama herself about this rather predictable turn of events:
"Rebecca has been a sharp, loyal, and amazing member of my team for over six years now. Though I’m sorry to see her go full-time to another conservative outlet, I’m delighted she’ll be helping change the world for the better by lending her talents to Breitbart. They are so stinking fortunate to get her! Rare is an outfit like Breitbart – they’re most valuable in our culture and the media, fighting the good fight for the sake of this country we love. And I’ll still be bugging Rebecca at all hours – I won’t let her get away that far; every time we encounter an issue that we know the public must be aware of, we’ve been on it, and will continue to do so. She’s the best.”
Well that's a whole lot of BS this early in the morning.
By the way some of you may remember why this "sharp, loyal, and amazing" member of Palin's team has been forced to maintain a low profile these last four years.
It's because back in 2011 she dared to privately criticize the family disappointment, and that became public. (No not Track. No not Willow. The other family disappointment.)
Well I think we can now expect a lot more articles coming from Palin to show up over at Breitbart.
Gee I wonder who will write them for her?
And of course the next question to ask is why does Mansour now need an outside gig? I think the next SarahPAC filings will help to explain that.
(P.S. Personally I am anxiously awaiting the first mouth breather to post a comment asking why our GinaM. is suddenly so cozy with Sarah Palin. Gonna be some mighty confused trolls all up in here today.)

Company offers county clerk Kim Davis half a million dollars to appear in an interracial lesbian porn movie. Oh, that's just not right.
| Homphobe, county clerk, and potential porn star, Kim Davis. |
With all the controversy surrounding Rowan County, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis’ refusal to issue same sex marriage licenses even after the Supreme Court of the United States made same sex marriage the law of the land, The Dogfart Network which is the leading online destination for Adult Interracial content is offering the Holy Kim Davis a chance at redemption.
The undisputed kings of interracial porn are dangling $500k to star in a scene for their site ZebraGirls.com, which is one of 23 sites in the companies vast Adult Entertainment Empire. ZebraGirls.com specializes in Lesbian Interracial Erotica.
“We here at Dogfart have always believed in equality. We have interracial sites, gay sites, straight sites, and we think Kim Davis has been appalling,” said a Dogfart Spokesman. “We are giving her a chance at a redemption. We are willing to drop half a million bucks for Kim to come out to our studio and shoot an Interracial Lesbian scene for our network.”
The offer will stand for the next week. She is also welcome to bring her family with her on an all expense paid vacation.
Do you hear that, Kim Davis? Several times your yearly salary to film a sex scene with the single most attractive person you will ever get to see naked, probably. And you can bring the kids! Sounds like a win-win to me.
Okay if I develop erectile dysfunction in the next year or so, this will mark the day that it probably started.
I have little doubt that this is just a joke, because...I mean....but who would.....yeah it's gotta be a joke.
I like the offer to "bring the kids." And they say porn companies are not family friendly.
But still, no.
I'm sorry, I meant to say hell no!

OANN boss says he was very impressed with Sarah Palin's performance as host last week.
Courtesy of WPTZ:
OANN very much wants to have Palin stick around, but at the moment there are no further plans for her to host.
"We'd love to have Governor Palin as a full time host, but we'd need to convince her to relocate for long periods of time and I don't think we are at the point as a network where we can afford what she is worth," Charles Herring, president of the San Diego-based channel, told CNNMoney.
Herring said the response to Palin's guest hosting was "tremendous." He also said "we'd love to have Governor Palin back as a guest host as often as we can."
Finally! A TV gig with a bar set low enough for Sarah Palin to overcome.
I am sure that Palin would love the job as well.
Of course OANN is going to have to re-outfit that Fox built studio of her again, and hire her children to do her hair and make up, and of course hire Todd to work the camera, but I'm sure her asking price for all of that is not too steep these days.
After all the Trump interview that OANN posted on You Tube received almost three million hits.
Of course we don't know if her appearance helped with the ratings because, "the channel is relatively obscure and isn't rated by Nielsen."
Sounds like the perfect place for Palin.
Don'tcha think?

New image released showing one of the zombies from the new AMC series "Fear the Walking Dead" based in California. Kinda looks familiar.
Wait, that's not one of the hideous creatures from that new TV series.
That's the hideous creature who used to live in Wasilla, Alaska.
WTF is she doing in California?
Hang on I found the source:
Cheetah444 8 hours ago Good morning!
Not sure this was posted here or not, but here is a photo of Sarah in San Diego earlier this week. Never heard of Pearson Sharp, but he's an author and Sarah is holding a copy of his newest book entitled The Sovereign. Sharp also works at One America Network News in San Diego.
Pearson Sharp @PearsonSharp 20h
Got to meet @SarahPalinUSA at work! #Oann #theSovereign
Okay well you have to admit that it was an honest mistake.
Gee could Palin be looking to get a job with this conservative One America News Network?
Could be, after all she certainly doesn't have much of anything else going for her right now.
If she gets the job we can start a pool as to how long she will last THIS time.
My money's on not more than a year tops.
But if you think Palin's planning to go legit, and leave her grifting ways behind, well you my friend do NOT know Sarah Palin.
Here is the twenty two minute long Palin infomercial recently released by SarahPAC :
Did anybody else notice how old most of that footage was?
Here was Wonkette's take on the video.

Guess who got her "job" back.
Courtesy of Bristol Pikore account:
Celebrated six years working for the best people I know 🙌 .. This place is my home ❤️❤️ (I actually have a job 🙊 #shocker)
Do you know what's really a shocker?
The fact that this girl can walk away from this job to work on reality shows, dance around in a monkey suit on TV, promote ghostwritten books, and impulsively run off to get married, and still have it waiting for her to crawl back to when those things don't pan out for her.
I am not sure what kind of deal Bristol's mother made with her "employer" but it is fairly obvious that most people would have been out on their asses years ago.
Oh and guess who is beyond thrilled to have her bestie back?
Anybody want to start laying down bets now as to how long it will be before Bristol bails on this job again to go chase a TV gig or lasso herself a feller?

It's Monday so let's start it off with something sweet.
A little girl was bothered that her daddy worked too hard, so she wrote a letter on his behalf to his employer, who happened to be Google.
Just in case you can't read it clearly:
Dear Google Worker,
Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off. Like he can get a day off on Wednesday. Because daddy only gets a day off on Saturday.
From, Katie
P.S. It is Daddy's BIRTHDAY
P.P.S. It is summer, you know
Yeah, it's summer you know.
Believe it or not, Katie's dad's boss at Google wrote back.
Wow, he got a whole week off for vacation. Nicely done Katie!
You know the only time my daughter got me out of work was when I had to use vacation days to stay home with her when she caught chicken pox.
We still kind of had fun. You know in between the itching and applications of calamine lotion.

Sarah Palin retreats even further into the Right Wing bubble.
![]() |
| That's right bitchez I got a new video show. |
Fox News contributor and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be launching her own digital video channel, tentatively called “Rogue TV,” a source familiar with the project told Capital.
The channel will be available through Tapp, the digital video service founded by former CNN chief Jon Klein and former NBC Universal entertainment executive Jeff Gaspin. Subscriptions will cost $10 per month.
Rogue is expected to launch in April or May, and it would be one of the first of the digital channels offered by Tapp.
Palin’s channel will feature video commentaries from the former Republican vice-presidential candidate, discussing current events and political issues.
“Think of it as a video version of her Facebook page,” the source said.
That said, Rogue is also expected to feature footage of Palin and her family in Alaska, much as the 2010 TLC reality series, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” did. (TLC’s parent company, Discovery Communications, is an investor in Tapp.)
It will also have advice and guidance from Palin, such as tips for parents and recipes. There are also tentative plans to have subscribers engage in regular video chats with Palin.
Representatives for Tapp did not respond to a request for comment on the plans.
Can you believe she is calling it "Rogue TV?"
Well of course you can, what else would she call it, "Hockey Mom radio?"
You know this might finally be the perfect venue for Palin. A radio show that asks very little from her but to post the same content that she currently pays ghostwriters to write on her behalf for Facebook.
It's like scratching your ass like you do everyday, only this time somebody is paying to watch you do it.
Well at least this answers the age old question where do Fox News contributors go to die??
It is the same place that Glenn Beck went after HE was drummed off of the air at Fox.
And hey he is not doing too badly over at Blaze. I mean he's a whole lot crazier, but apparently there's a market for crazy.
So who knows, Palin might do very well in this arena. After all she is at LEAST as crazy as Glenn Beck. Probably crazier!
The only question is how long can the woman whose picture now sits next to the word "quitter" in the dictionary be willing to stick this out? And how long will her rapidly disappearing fan base be willing to pay $10 a month to listen to her babble like a schizophrenic who missed their last dose of Thorazine?
Only time will tell.
What is interesting is how isolated this radical group of Right Wingers, like Palin, Glenn Beck, and Herman Cain. have become. They are no longer considered reasonable enough to have an easily accessible platform and are instead now forced to find little media pockets where those of a like mind can seek them out and listen to their insanity for a fee.
If only Charles Manson had possessed the foresight to wait a couple of decades, instead of rotting in jail like he is today, he could have had his own show (Helter Skelter?) right alongside Sarah Palin and the other not ready for prime time lunatics.

Good lord, who would still want to TAPP Sarah Palin?
Courtesy of Mediaite:
With an appearance on Bloomberg TV Tuesday, Former CNN president Jon Klein and former NBC entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin announced their new online streaming video venture called TAPP, short for “TV App.” As for the types of personalities the pair hopes to feature on the service? According to Klein, Sarah Palin is exactly the type of person they are looking for.
“We are not talking about specific talent,” Klein said in response to rumors that they have been in talks with Palin about the venture. “I will tell you that Sarah Palin is the kind of personality who has a massive social presence, and a core group of followers and supporters who hang on to her every word. That is exactly the characteristic that these channels are looking for.”
Similar to Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze.com, TAPP will consist of multiple channels and shows that users can stream online for somewhere in the $10/month range. “Everybody’s got someone, one person at least, that they would pay $10 per month to get more of,” Klein added. He envisions a world in which “everyone has a TAPP channel” the way anyone can have a YouTube channel today.
“Everybody’s got someone, one person at least, that they would pay $10 per month to get more of." That may be true but the problem with Sarah Palin is that a little is too much, and more is essentially toxic to human beings.
Okay so in some ways this sounds like almost the perfect job for Palin.
After all she can probably choose from which state to do the show, and might even be able to use that Fox studio in her Wasilla compound and a make shift one in Arizona to do it from both locations, if need be.
However the optimum word here is "job." And Sarah Palin is well known for having an allergy to actual work.
So if she is willing to make any kind of deal at all it will be one that requires very little effort from her, employs her family members as well (Hey, SOMEBODY has to beat the wig into submission, trowel on the makeup, and push the little record button.), and which overpays her for putting forth minimal effort.
If I were launching a new video venture I certainly would not take a risk on a woman whose name is now synonymous with the word "quitter."

This is why I fear ever changing jobs.
I once told a job interviewer that her questions were ridiculous and that answering them would give her no indication of my ability to do the job.
Didn't get the job. I know, surprised me too.

Florida police sergeant fired for using Trayvon Martin targets during weapons training.
Courtesy of Action News:
Officials with Port Canaveral said a police sergeant has been fired after he brought Trayvon Martin shooting targets to a firearms training session.
Sergeant Ron King was terminated from the police department on Friday, according to officials.
Port officials said King brought two shooting targets which had an images resembling Trayvon Martin on them to a firearms training session on April 4.
King was supervising the training session and asked if anyone wanted to use them. Officials will not say if the targets were actually used.
"Whether his act was hatred or stupidity, none is tolerable," said John Walsh, CEO of Port Canaveral.
Now the fired sergeant is fighting back by posting a video saying that he brought the targets to the firing range as an example of what "not to shoot at."
Oh and he also apologized to Trayvon Martin's family for "being used as a pawn in somebody's political agenda."
Uh huh! Yeah I am having a hard time buying this one. I cannot even believe that somebody manufactured these things, much less deciding it was a good idea to support the creators by purchasing them.
I think the CEO probably made the right call here. What do you guys think?
