Right Wing hack attempts to portray Bristol Palin as Chelsea Clinton's intellectual superior. No, seriously.

Let me remind you that this is a Twitter account owned by a man who tries to portray himself as a highly intelligent person.

However that is "highly intelligent" by conservative standards, so we are talking about an IQ in the mid to low 80's I would assume.

D'Souza is of course most famous for writing fact free books attacking the Clintons and President Obama, and for being an ex-con who served time after being convicted for violating federal election campaign laws in New York.

As for his suggestion that the skin school graduate is smarter than a woman who earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and her master's degree from Oxford University, well that's actually too ridiculous to even address. (Oops sorry, Chelsea has a doctorate from Oxford. My bad.)

D'Souza does not care for facts, but if he did he might learn that any public remarks attributed to Bristol Palin, that are not sent in an angry text to one of her exes, is most definitely written FOR her by one of Sarah Palin's paid ghostwriters, who were hired to try and make Bristol appear intelligent.

Unfortunately that failed miserably after Bristol Palin decided to go all Wasilla-billy on some poor bastard during his birthday party in Anchorage back in 2014.

I am trying to remember that time Chelsea Clinton drunkenly attacked a man at his own birthday party,

Anybody remember that?

As for that attack on Chelsea's appearance, well this is picture of Dinesh D'Souza.

Nuff said.

Two women who reached sexual harassment settlements with Bill O'Reilly have now filed new defamation lawsuits after being called liars.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Two women who reached sexual harassment settlements with Bill O’Reilly joined a defamation lawsuit against Mr. O’Reilly and Fox News on Wednesday, asserting that statements that he and the network made depicted them as liars, political operatives and extortionists.

The women are Andrea Mackris, a former producer on Mr. O’Reilly’s show on Fox News who sued him for sexual harassment in 2004, and Rebecca Gomez Diamond, a former host on Fox Business Network who reached a settlement with Mr. O’Reilly in 2011 after coming forward with sexual harassment allegations against him. Both women had recorded conversations with Mr. O’Reilly, and he paid both settlements, according to people briefed on the matter.

They joined a lawsuit filed earlier this month by Rachel Witlieb Bernstein, a former Fox News employee who reached a settlement with Fox News and Mr. O’Reilly in July 2002 after she repeatedly complained about his behavior to the network’s human resources department and other executives. Ms. Bernstein is also suing for breach of contract. Her allegations did not include sexual harassment.

Andrea Mackris was the one that O'Reilly tried to seduce by offering to rub a "falafel thing" all over her.

I would imagine that Fox New is probably going to want to buy them off again, but I'm really hoping hey refuse the offer.

Personally I would love to see this whole thing argued in court so we can actually get a chance to hear what a pervert O'Reilly was to these women  on those recording, and of course to watch him get thoroughly humiliated again.

And you may have guessed I really do not like Bill O'Reilly.

Donald Trump is now making insulting sexual insinuations about a female Senator via Twitter. Update!

Well I think we all know what "and would do anything for them" means in this case, just like we all knew what he meant by "“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever" when he was talking about Megyn Kelly.

This man is a pig, and he continues to degrade and insult women even while sitting in the most powerful political position on the planet.

He simply cannot be removed from office fast enough in my opinion.

Update: Senator Gillibrand responds.
Apparently the Senator is also about to make a public statement any minute now.

Update 2: Elizabeth Warren has weighed in.
It appears that the battle lines have now been drawn.

Women, progressives, and feminists on one side.

And pedophiles, misogynists, and perverts on the other.

While attempting to honor Navajo code talkers, Donald Trump decides to attack Elizabeth Warren, insults all Native Americans instead. Update!

Courtesy of CNN:

President Donald Trump, during an event at the White House honoring Navajo code talkers Monday, referenced his nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren, "Pocahontas," a label he has long used about the Massachusetts Democrat.

"I just want to thank you because you are very, very special people. You were here long before any of us were here," Trump said. "Although, we have a representative in Congress who has been here a long time ... longer than you -- they call her Pocahontas!"

He then turned to one of the code talkers behind him, put his left hand on the man's shoulder and said: "But you know what, I like you. You are special people."

I have a feeling that after that idiotic remark the Navajos in the room thought that Donald Trump was a little "special" as well.

Later White House reporters confronted Sarah Huckabee Sanders about this clearly racist remark, and she of course tried to turn it back to another attack on Warren.

Damn, she is just a terrible person.

Elizabeth Warren was also asked about this incident, and here was her response. For the record there is no evidence that Elizabeth Warren's career benefited from her claim that she is part Native American, and in fact there it no real evidence that she is not part Native American.

I think that like a lot of Americans Warren grew up hearing stories of her family's Native American heritage and took it on faith that it was accurate.

I myself have been told my whole life that I am part Apache, my grandfather actually met and married my grandmother on an Indian reservation in Arizona, but I have never done a DNA test nor have I yet utilized the services of Ancestry.com.

For all I know for certain my family could be full of shit, but as of right now I stand convinced that I am part Apache.

In other words this is a ridiculous attack, and Donald Trump's fixation on Warren's heritage just had him make a racially charged comment in a room full of war heroes he was supposed to be honoring.

Update: Apparently Trump has a long history or disrespecting native Americans

It's Sunday so why wouldn't Donald Trump attack NFL players? Update!

These two tweets are from just this morning as Trump apparently decided to triple down on his infantile attacks directed at football players who exercise their First Amendment rights.

(This of course was briefly interrupted when Trump switched gears and briefly got into a kerfuffle with NBA players yesterday.)

Unfortunately for Trump while all of this might play well with the slack jawed morons who attend his thinly disguised KKK rallies, it does NOT play well in the rest of the country.

Instead Trump has now made national heroes of defiant football and basketball players, as well as some of their moms.
Last night even the great Stevie Wonder waded into the controversy.

 Courtesy of CNN:

Legendary musician Stevie Wonder took both knees at a New York music festival, seemingly showing solidarity with NFL players criticized by President Donald Trump hours earlier.

"Tonight, I'm taking a knee for America; but not just one knee, I'm taking both knees," he said on stage Saturday before his performance at the Global Citizens Festival.

"Both knees in prayer for our planet, our future, our leaders of the world and our globe. Amen ..."

During the event, Wonder also spoke about interrupting hate, bigotry and condemning sexism.

One of Trump's supporters, who also happens to own an NFL team, had this to say:

One of Donald’s Trump most prominent NFL supporters offered his regrets on Sunday following the President’s comments on NFL players remarks kneeling during the national anthem.

“I’m pissed off, I’ll be honest with you,” Rex Ryan said on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown. “I supported Donald Trump. When he asked me to introduce him at a rally in Buffalo, I did that. But I am reading these comments and it is appalling to me. And I am sure it is appalling to almost any citizen in our country. It should be. I mean, calling our players S.O.Bs and that kind of stuff, that is not the men that I know. The men I know in the locker room, I am proud to be associated with them in the locker room.

“I apologize for being pissed off but that’s it. Right away I am associated with what Donald Trump stands for because I introduced him. I never signed up for that. I never wanted that.”

And just today NFL players in London also took a knee in protest:

And that included both teams by the way.

Donald Trump just lit a fire under a protest movement that is surely going to spread throughout the country.

I expect soon we will see players in every sport, and athletes of every ethnicity, following these examples and sending Trump a simple message.

FUCK YOU!

Update: Yep, it's spreading.
So does Trump want the entire Pittsburgh Steelers team to be fired now?

Senators Jack Reed and Susan Collins caught on hot mic discussing Trump's sanity, his lack of understanding about the budget, and whether Collins could "beat the shit" out of Rep. Blake Farenthold.

Republican Senator Susan Collins and Democratic Senator Jack Reed.
Courtesy of WaPo:

After Reed praises Collins’s leadership of the hearing, she laments the administration’s handling of spending.

“I swear, [the Office of Management and Budget] just went through and whenever there was ‘grant,’ they just X it out,” Collins says. “With no measurement, no thinking about it, no metrics, no nothing. It’s just incredibly irresponsible.”

“Yes,” Reed replies. “I think — I think he’s crazy,” apparently referring to the president. “I mean, I don’t say that lightly and as a kind of a goofy guy.” “I’m worried,” Collins replies.

“Oof,” Reed continues. “You know, this thing — if we don’t get a budget deal, we’re going to be paralyzed.”

“I know,” Collins replies.

“[Department of Defense] is going to be paralyzed, everybody is going to be paralyzed,” Reed says.

“I don’t think he knows there is a [Budget Control Act] or anything,” Collins says, referring to a 2011 law that defines the budget process.

“He was down at the Ford commissioning,” Reed says, referring to President Trump’s weekend event launching a new aircraft carrier, “saying, ‘I want them to pass my budget.’ Okay, so we give him $54 billion and then we take it away across the board which would cause chaos.”

“Right,” Collins replies.

Collins then went on to bring up  remarks made by Texas Congressman Blake Farenthold suggesting that if she were a man he would challenge her to "step outside and settle this Aaron Burr-style.”

“Did you see the one who challenged me to a duel?” Collins asks.

“I know,” Reed replies. “Trust me. Do you know why he challenged you to a duel? ‘Cause you could beat the s— out of him.”

“Well, he’s huge,” Collins replies. “And he — I don’t mean to be unkind, but he’s so unattractive it’s unbelievable.”

“Did you see the picture of him in his pajamas next to this Playboy bunny?” she continues, referring to an infamous photo of Farenthold.

This by the way is the picture Collins is referring to:

So yes, Susan Colins COULD easily beat the shit out of him.

Here is the audio of the above remarks.

Just so you know Farenthold and Collins have already apologized to each other for their remarks, but let's face it the toothpaste is out of the tube concerning what they really think about each.

And we also know what some in the Senate secretly think about the guy now occupying the Oval Office.

Trump takes to Twitter to call James Comey "cowardly."

Once again Comey did not "leak."

He simply gave his friend access to memos, containing no classified information, that he himself wrote down about his own interactions with Donald Trump, AFTER he was no longer an employee of the government.

In response to all of this the Senate is considering the idea of issuing subpoenas for the rest of Comey's notes about meetings with Trump.

I think that is a great idea since we know that once the Senate has them they will be immediately leaked to the public, and this time Trump will not be able to blame Comey.

By the way it is being reported that Trump's son, Don Jr., seems to have at least partially confirmed some of Comey's testimony:

During an interview with Fox News, Donald Trump Jr expressed disbelief that Mr Comey felt “threatened” by his conversation with the President before he was fired.

“When he tells you to do something, guess what? There's no ambiguity in it, there's no, 'Hey, I'm hoping,'“ 39-year-0ld Mr Trump said.

“You and I are friends: 'Hey, I hope this happens, but you've got to do your job.' That's what he told Comey.

“And for this guy [Comey] as a politician to then go back and write a memo: 'Oh, I felt threatened.' He felt so threatened — but he [President Trump] didn't do anything.”

Well he fired him so that seems like something that Trump did.

And since according to Don Jr. this conversation DID take place, just like Comey said it did, and then Comey was fired fairly soon after to, as Trump told his Russian pals, "relieve great pressure" from the Russia probe, I think the case for obstructionism is all but made right there.

By the way Comey was not the only target of Trump's Twitter outrage this morning.
Yes, THEY'RE the obstructionists.

During supposedly bipartisan meeting with Senators, Donald Trump insults Elizabeth Warren and claims that Democrats bused in thousands of illegal voters to steal New Hampshire from him.

Courtesy of the New York Daily News:

President Trump repeatedly referred to Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren as "Pocahontas" during a bipartisan lunch meeting with senators earlier this week, according to sources.

As soon as photographers and reporters had filed out of the Roosevelt Room, Trump jeered at the gathered Democrats, "Pocahontas is now the face of your party," according to officials familiar with what was discussed. The pejorative was in reference to Warren's rebuke of newly instated Attorney General Jeff Sessions earlier this week, which triggered Senate Republicans to formally silence her, and left-leaning Americans to celebrate her.

Trump coined the racially-charged nickname for Warren during the campaign, and has continued to use it despite outrage from critics. The White House did not immediately return a request for comment on Trump's alleged remarks, which were first reported by CNN and Politico.

I would assume that Trump keeps insulting Warren in the hopes that it increases her stature among the Democrats becasue he is convinced he could beat her if she ran against him in the 2020 election.

After all he beat the highly qualified Hillary Clinton, so why would he think he needed to fear another female candidate?

And Trump was not finished there.

Courtesy of Politico:

On Thursday, during a meeting with 10 senators that was billed as a listening session about Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, the president went off on a familiar tangent, suggesting again that he was a victim of widespread voter fraud, despite the fact that he won the presidential election.

As soon as the door closed and the reporters allowed to observe for a few minutes had been ushered out, Trump began to talk about the election, participants said, triggered by the presence of former New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte, who lost her reelection bid in November and is now working for Trump as a Capitol Hill liaison, or “Sherpa,” on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch.

The president claimed that he and Ayotte both would have been victorious in the Granite State if not for the “thousands” of people who were “brought in on buses” from neighboring Massachusetts to “illegally” vote in New Hampshire.

According to one participant who described the meeting, “an uncomfortable silence” momentarily overtook the room.

In response to these claims the FEC commissioner is demanding that Trump provide evidence.

Which of course he can't do.

The very fact that Trump is still lying  about having electoral votes stolen from him speaks to his overwhelming insecurities and possibly even a subconscious recognition that he is a fraud and undeserving to hold the title President of the United States.

Apparently somebody is very insecure about his presidency.

Fifteen years ago Donald Trump responded to criticism from Tucker Carlson by bragging that he gets more p***y than he does.

Courtesy of The Daily Beast:

Carlson had a bit of a more measured take on Trump’s candidacy in a piece he wrote for Politico in January of last year. The premise was basically that Trump could teach Republicans a valuable lesson and that he demonstrated that their brand of politics had failed.

It also began with a pretty stunning anecdote.

“About 15 years ago, I said something nasty on CNN about Donald Trump’s hair,” Carlson wrote. “I can’t now remember the context, assuming there was one. In any case, Trump saw it and left a message the next day. “It’s true you have better hair than I do,” Trump said matter-of-factly. “But I get more pussy than you do.” Click.”

Carlson goes on to say that “The message had all the hallmarks of a Trump attack: shocking, vulgar and indisputably true” and that Trump was not his “first choice for president.”

There you go ladies and gentleman, this is the man who will be representing your country to the world for the next four years.

So I think this helps to explain why so many women are coming out to protest his inauguration.

The only question remaining is why isn't EVERYONE?

Saying it to his face. (It's a roast so obviously NSFW.)

Be honest, how many of you would love to have had the opportunity that Lisa Lampanelli had that night?

I can certainly think of some rather off color remarks I would like to say to his face.

The New York Times posts a list of ALL of the people. places, and things that Donald Trump has insulted on Twitter. All 281 of them!

Here is the link.

I swear the number of insults this guy throws around on a weekly basis is almost incomprehensible.

For almost any other candidate even a tenth of these would have proved fatal to their campaign.

Wednesday, October 05, 2016

Mike Pence denies that theirs is an "insult driven campaign" at almost literally the same time that Donald Trump is tweeting insults about Tim Kaine.

This defense by Mike Pence was of course laughable on its face, but it was made even more so by these tweets coming from Trump who was live tweeting the debate.

"Okay Donald I am going to go out there and try to do some damage control and start trying to represent our campaign as one about the issues and not one that engages in childish insults and unprovoked attacks okay?

"Sure Mike that sounds good. I'll be backing you up on Twitter."

"Thanks, wait what?"

Kind of makes you wonder exactly what Mike Pence thought would happen when he joined this ticket?

Ted Cruz has now endorsed Donald Trump after months of animosity between to two men.

Courtesy of CNN:

Ted Cruz endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency Friday afternoon, a stunning turn of events after a contentious primary filled with nasty personal attacks and a dramatic snub at the Republican National Convention.

"After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump," Cruz wrote in a Facebook post.

"A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don't want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him."

"I am greatly honored by the endorsement of Senator Cruz," Trump said in a statement obtained by CNN. "We have fought the battle and he was a tough and brilliant opponent. I look forward to working with him for many years to come in order to make America great again."

Having a little trouble holding down my lunch here.

After all Ted Cruz is a lying conniving POS, and Donald Trump is the grand poobah of lying conniving pieces of shit.

Besides they always say that Democrats fall in love, while Republicans fall in line.

So it appears that Cruz is simply doing what numerous other GOP politicians have done before him, swallow the mouthful of shit and cower like a beaten dog in the hopes of surviving long enough to run for office again.

So I guess this no longer bothers him.
So much for standing up for you family, or for your country, or for anything else that requires integrity, courage, or a spine.

After President Duterte threatened to call President Obama a "son of a whore" his country loses millions in investment dollars.

Courtesy of the Independent:

Losses in Philippine stocks are accelerating as foreigners keep pulling money from Asia’s most expensive market, amid speculation that the outbursts of President Rodrigo Duterte are hurting investor sentiment.

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index fell 1.3 per cent to 7,619.10 in its biggest decline in five weeks. The gauge has dropped 6 per cent from a 15-month high on 21 July, paring its gain this year to 9.6 per cent.

Foreign funds pulled $58m (£43m) from local equities on Wednesday, the most in almost a year, and have sold a net $333m in an 11-day run of outflows. The index is down 2.3 per cent this quarter, the only decliner among major Asian markets.

Duterte’s threat to call US President Barack Obama a “son of a whore” if he criticised an anti-drug campaign that’s left around 2,400 dead, and the subsequent cancellation of a meeting between the leaders, “didn’t sit well” with overseas investors, said Rafael Palma Gil, a portfolio manager at Rizal Commercial Banking Group in Manila.

That's right asshole.

If you insult our president there are repercussions.

Apparently Obama and Duterte did finally meet during yesterday during the  Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit:

According to a White House official, Mr Obama had a brief discussion with Mr Duterte before the Asean Gala Dinner in the leaders’ holding space. He said the exchange consisted of pleasantries between the two. However, the two leaders entered the dinner venue separately, were seated far apart and did not interact with each other during the meal that lasted an hour and 20 minutes.

The incident has soured relations between the two nations, at a time when their strong partnership is critical for regional stability. The Philippine government is concerned about Chinese activity in the South China Sea and, in the same week as the diplomatic row, released intelligence photos purporting to show Chinese coast guard vessels in the disputed Scarborough Shoal.

Yep, that is one smart president the Philippine people have there.

I wonder if they will enjoy their new Chinese overlords?

Watching Ann Coulter getting ripped to shreds during the Rob Lowe celebrity roast might be the best thing ever. Update!

Do I even need to warn you that this is NSFW?

I loved her face during this, and that is something that I have never said about Ann Coulter before.

And probably never will again.

Update: This is what I alluded to in the comments.

Believe it or not the Sarah Palin/Azealia Banks feud is going into overtime. Update!

As we posted yesterday Sarah Palin has threatened to sue Banks over those rather disgusting remarks she made on Twitter.

Before that came out Banks had issued an almost apology, but now it seems that the rapper is no mood to smooth things over.

You know if Palin had not cut her advisers loose when the SarahPAC funds started drying up, she might have had someone around to tell her that responding to a rapper in a war of words is something that even Trig would be too smart to fall for.

Let's face it this Azealia Banks faces NO downside for going after Palin.

Her audience is only going to like her more for taking on a racist icon, and Sarah Palin's few remaining supporters would not buy a rap album with a gun to their head.

And if Palin were to ACTUALLY try to sue this person, not only would that suddenly make Banks one of the most famous rappers in the country, but she would lose badly and attract even more scorn from the African American community.

If Sarah Palin has even one surviving brain cell left in her head she will accept defeat and walk away while she still can.

Update: And now Nancy French, as Bristol's doppelganger, joins the scrum.

Palin hiding behind her faux daughter, who did not see that one coming?

I guess if Banks goes after Bristol then poor Sailor Grace will be pressed into service as a human shield as well.

Sarah Palin threatens to sue female rapper who suggested that the "biggest burliest blackest Negroes" should "run a train" on her.

 Courtesy of People:

Palin told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement that she will take legal action against Banks "on behalf of all reasonable women of every age, race and political leaning."

"I've had enough of the unanswered threats and attacks against my family and me," Palin said of Banks' NSFW social media suggestion that the former governor should be sexually assaulted. "So, for the first time I'm going to enjoy the only retribution some protected 'celebrities' seem to understand – I'm suing Azealia Banks and can't wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long."

First off we all know that Sarah Palin is never going to sue ANYBODY. And if she tried in this case, as disgusting as those comments were, I think she would find herself fighting against the first amendment.

For her part this Azealia Banks person DID issue a sort of barely coherent, meandering apology.

However as it turned out she could not let it go at that and later added a PS that really did not seem all that apologetic:

-I am an EXTREMELY intelligent woman, Mrs. Palin. -“Hey Female Rapper,” was your way to euphemize what you REALLY wanted to say. What you wanted to say was, “Hey little Stereotypical Black, Thing!”
-Realize that stereotypes are a product of what I like to call the “Critical White Gaze.” The basic fundamentals of the Critical White Gaze are Fear, Ignorance, Curiosity, and Fetishization.
-Intelligence is not something which can be quantified in 140 Characters.
-Twitter is not real, neither is your opinion of me!
-If Bristol Palin listened to my music she probably wouldn’t have all those cotdamn kids!!!! ;-P #sis #iud #stayinschool #causeitsthebest

Damn!

Look I hate to take Palin's side here, but this rapper went way over the line in my opinion, and the Grizzled Mama has every right to be a little pissy in response.

Not only that but her initial comments were in response to an article written as parody that in reality had nothing really to do with Sarah Palin.

Of course to be fair some of Sarah Palin's past statements have made it almost impossible to tell which terribly racist comment she made in real life, and which terribly racist comment are parodies of things she has said in real life.

So 2016 becomes the first election season when one candidate calls another candidate a pu**y. Thanks Donald Trump. (NSFW language.)

Look I'm not even going to disagree with Trump, and that lady in the audience's, assertion taht Ted Cruz is a pussy.

I actually think that a large number of the GOP candidates are a few testosterone points shy of a real man.

However hearing that said from a podium by a man who claims to want to hold the most important job in the world? Yeah, that's a little hard to digest.

And by the way since there is little doubt that the toughest candidate in this race actually HAS a vagina, perhaps we need to find a different word to describe weakness.

You know perhaps a word like "Jeb!" Yeah that works.

Two Fox News talking heads get suspended for being potty mouths.

Courtesy of Variety:

Fox News has suspended two on-air contributors in the wake of crude language they used on different programs on Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network Monday to discuss President Obama.

“Earlier today, Fox contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air,”said Bill Shine, senior executive vice president of programming for both networks, in a prepared statement. “Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks.”

The two networks are both owned by 21st Century Fox.

Peters made his comments on a Fox Business Network program hosted by Stuart Varney on Fox Business, using the word “p—y” to describe the President’s remarks on terrorism delivered Sunday evening. Dash (pictured, above) while speaking on Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” said that the President didn’t “give a s–t” about terrorism.

Personally I'm a little surprised that Fox News suspended them.

After all it really does not sound that much different from the usual crap that is said about the President on that network.

Of course if this were a REAL news outlet they would have been fired instead of simply suspended.

P.S. For those who keep asking who this Stacy Dash person is, she is a sometime actress whose biggest role was as Alicia Silverstone's black friend in the movie "Clueless."

Which of course also describes her understanding of topics discussed on Fox News.

Ted Cruz insults Jimmy Carter the day after his candid conversation with the press announcing that his cancer has spread to his brain.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz slammed Jimmy Carter's presidency just one day after Carter announced his cancer has spread to his brain.

Speaking at the Iowa State Fair, Cruz recited a regular part of his stump speech in which the Texas senator says that "today is very, very much like the late 1970s."

"I think the parallels between this administration and the Carter administration are uncanny: same failed domestic policies, same misery, stagnation and malaise, same feckless and naïve foreign policy," Cruz said. "In fact, the exact same countries -- Russia and Iran -- openly laughing and mocking at the president of the United States."

On Thursday, Carter announced he is beginning radiation treatment for melanoma that spread to four spots on his brain.

Later Cruz tried to explain that he was only criticizing the Carter administration's public policy and not the man himself.

Which might have satisfied some of his critics if he had not said this right after Joe Biden's son died of cancer:

"Vice President Joe Biden. You know the nice thing? You don't need a punch line."

Yeah fuck you Ted Cruz you vile POS!

Jimmy Carter was the first presidential candidate I ever voted for.

He lost to Ronald Reagan but I have still never regretted that vote. I think Jimmy Carter is a great man, and was also a great President.

And Joe Biden? Well he is Joe Biden, and that is pretty impressive all on its own.

On the other hand I think Ted Cruz looks like a sleazy used car salesman who is secretly jacking off to internet porn in between talking to customers.
