Sarah Palin brags about Breitbart giving her a platform after the Gabby Giffords shooting when Roger Ailes tried to keep her from embarrassing herself.

Still  from Sarah Palin's "Blood Libel" video.
Unfortunately I have to link to Breitbart in order to share this story.

I of course do not encourage you to click the link, but it is only good blogging etiquette to provide it.

Courtesy of Breitbart:

The late Andrew Breitbart helped Sarah Palin defend herself when Fox News Channel’s former Chairman Roger Ailes denied her the opportunity to respond on air to the media’s false accusations framing her for inciting the attempted assassination of former Congresswoman Gabrielle “Gabby” Giffords (D-AZ) in the days immediately following the 2011 Tucson mass shooting incident.

“If it weren’t for Breitbart, so much of our commonsense defense wouldn’t have gotten out there, because I was working for Fox News at the time, and I was not allowed to go on the air to defend myself for days,” Palin said, speaking publicly about this for the first time, during a Friday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with Breitbart’s Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour.

(That's right, Palin and RAM together again.)

“I think that that time was our toughest time in this last decade of being out there on a public platform, [with] false accusations that we were to blame for the Gabby Giffords shooting,” said Palin. “If it weren’t for Breitbart, so much of our commonsense defense wouldn’t have gotten out there, because I was working for Fox News at the time, and I was not allowed to go on the air to defend myself for days, and finally I bucked management of Fox News—I never even talked about this publicly—I bucked management and said, ‘I’ll do my own video, and I’ll post it, and I’ll explain to people that, no, we are not to blame.’ My relationship with Fox was never the same after that.”

Palin noted Ailes’ repeated refusal to allow her a platform to defend herself from a barrage of media attacks falsely accusing her of inciting mass murder.

“I had asked [Roger Ailes], ‘How many days do we have to go listening to this with no defense articulated at all? May I please go on the air?’ And he wouldn’t let me,” said Palin. “So that was a tough time.”

Ailes, for his part, was simply trying to protect his on air talent from embarrassing herself and attracting national ridicule, since at that time she was still considered a draw for Fox News.

Of course Palin defied Ailes, made her now famous "Blood Libel" video, and attracted far more scorn and ridicule than any amount of silence on her part would ever have brought down on her.

Which apparently she STILL does not realize.

Palin went on to make it even worse:

“[I wish] people understood what it does to a family, how it potentially could rip apart a family because everybody has a different idea of how to react to the circumstances around you, and that causes some stress,” said Palin. “I thank God every day that I have a strong family, and we’re doing great. Hopefully our story could inspire people to know that whatever they’re facing, the sun will come out tomorrow and things can get better. It’s just a matter of how you react to sometimes horrible circumstances around you.”

That's right folks the sun WILL come out tomorrow, and then if you have a "strong family" like the Palins by tomorrow evening your son might break into your house and beat your husband half to death, or y'all might show up drunk to a party and end up fighting with just about everybody until the police arrive, or you could once again wind up in court trying to help your daughter attempt to take custody away from another one her baby daddies.

Apparently in Palin's world that's what constitutes "doing great."

There is a movie coming that will be directed by Steve Bannon (The guy who directed the Sarah Palin movie The Undefeated,), written by Rebecca Mansour, produced by Citizens United, and starring Duck Dynasty's Phil Roberston.

Courtesy of Alternet:

Right-wing moviemaking has been a growth industry in recent years, as conservative activists set out to challenge what they see as the damaging cultural impact of liberalism’s dominance in Hollywood. The latest example is “Torchbearer,” which director Steve Bannon called “a Christian war film” in remarks before a screening in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention last month.

“Torchbearer” stars Phil Robertson, the Duck Dynasty patriarch who became a folk hero in the right-wing war on “political correctness” when the show was temporarily suspended by A&E amid controversy over Robertson's inflammatory remarks about homosexuality and black people in the pre-civil-rights-movement Louisiana. The movie was shown to distributors in Cannes and will be released in theaters in August.

The hour-long film is a collaboration between well-known right-wing groups. Bannon is executive chairman of Breitbart News; the script was written by a Breitbart editor, Rebecca Mansour. It was produced by Citizens United, the organization whose movie attacking Hillary Clinton was used by conservatives on the Supreme Court to gut regulation of political money in Citizens United the court ruling. Religious Right political operative Ralph Reed attended the premiere, and at a reception following the screening, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., took the opportunity to slam Clinton and praise the work of Citizens United.

The film is only an hour long but it manages to blame Nazi Germany on Nietzsche, mock the teaching of Evolution, use graphic images from Auschwitz and ISIS atrocities to shock and enrage, and of course blame all of the ills of the world on the "worship" of science instead of God.

My first instinct was that surely this must be something from the Onion or some other parody site, but nope it's real.

There is the trailer up above, a website, and everything.

My only surprise is that Sarah Palin does not have a speaking role, nor has she endorsed or spoken of the film on Facebook.

You would think with so many of her former collaborators working on the film, that she would be pitching it to the few simple minded morons who still value her opinion.

Perhaps this is so unhinged that even SHE gave it a pass?

Nah, who are we kidding, she probably was never even told about the film.

The Daily Beast digs deep into SarahPAC's spending methods.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

Sarah Palin and her folksy turns of phrase returned to the stump last week, trailing amped-up Trump fans and self-serving fundraising requests in her wake.

“In order to get Sarah to political events to support endorsed candidates we need your help to fundraise her travel,” said an email from Sarah PAC after her “historic” Trump endorsement.

It’s true, travel is expensive. After all, what self-respecting reality TV star stays at a Holiday Inn these days?

And where does all of that money come from?

According to Federal Election Commission reports, in the first six months of last year, Sarah PAC—Palin’s organization that purports to be dedicated “to help[ing] elect principled, conservative leaders” spent $16,062 on a private charter in Jackson, Wyoming, $3,855 on a “car and driver” in Long Island City, New York, and a total of $4,364 at La Playa Hotel in Naples, Florida.

So as much as Palin rages against the Washington political machine, the consultant class and all the “elites,” the spending by Sarah PAC shows that it remains the same lifestyle-fundin’, consultant-payin’ organization it has been since she launched it in 2009.

Now, it’s all legal and—to be fair—$35,000 of the $825,556 that Sarah PAC began with in 2015 ($493,507 of which was raised in the first six months of last year) actually went to federal candidates and causes in the first half of last year: $25,000 to candidates for federal offices and $10,000 to the Navy Seal WFF Family Foundation, a charity for the families of the Naval special forces.

But after that, it seems that the PAC has had more to do with pumping up Palin and her entourage than pumping up conservative candidates.

For example, $38,000 was spent on speechwriting—$36,000 of which went to Aries Petra Consulting LLC, owned by longtime Palin aide Rebecca Mansour.

Of course that last expense may not be showing up in future filings, as RAM has moved on up.

Well not so much "up" as "over" to the dark side.

I think my favorite part of this article is how it lists the lists how the donations have dwindled over the years:

A look through FEC filings for Sarah PAC throughout the years, shows the bulk the money—largely from small donors —has been spent disproportionately on the people who run the PAC as well as fundraising efforts and direct mail.

For example, in 2010, the first election cycle after Palin’s unsuccessful bid for vice president, Sarah PAC raised $5.7 million, spent about $4.4 million, of which $467,000 went to conservative candidates.

The numbers from 2012 aren’t terribly different: $5 million raised, $5.1 million spent, $298,500 went to candidates.

And in 2014, SarahPac raised $2.8 million, spent $3.1 million with $205,000 of the haul going to candidates.

I never get tired of watching Palin's credibility and support crumble all around her.

Of course most of this we have already documented ourselves here on IM over the years, but the fact that a news outlet like the Daily Beast is talking about it ahead of the next filings shows that there may be more scrutiny this time around, and I imagine they will have much to scrutinize.

And by "much," I mean expenditures, not incoming donations.

RAM gets a job.

Courtesy of Breitbart (Of course.):

The Breitbart News Network (@BreitbartNews) announced today the addition of Rebecca Mansour, former speechwriter and close aide to Governor Sarah Palin, as their Senior West Coast Editor.

“Rebecca has all the qualities we search for at Breitbart: integrity, intelligence, and fighting spirit. Her indefatigable nature ensures she will be an impact player. Through her work for Governor Palin, she has been in the trenches fighting the political and cultural battles that inspired the rise of the Tea Party and still dominate our national discourse,” said Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon.

Bannon you may remember was the director of that Palin mythological "documentary" The Undefeated. Which in light of recent events seems eve more ironic today.

So seeing Mansour invited to be part of a team now headed by a dedicated Palin worshiper is not exactly surprising.

Of course Bannon was able to get a quote directly from the Grizzled Mama herself about this rather predictable turn of events:

"Rebecca has been a sharp, loyal, and amazing member of my team for over six years now. Though I’m sorry to see her go full-time to another conservative outlet, I’m delighted she’ll be helping change the world for the better by lending her talents to Breitbart. They are so stinking fortunate to get her! Rare is an outfit like Breitbart – they’re most valuable in our culture and the media, fighting the good fight for the sake of this country we love. And I’ll still be bugging Rebecca at all hours – I won’t let her get away that far; every time we encounter an issue that we know the public must be aware of, we’ve been on it, and will continue to do so. She’s the best.”

Well that's a whole lot of BS this early in the morning.

By the way some of you may remember why this "sharp, loyal, and amazing" member of Palin's team has been forced to maintain a low profile these last four years.

It's because back in 2011 she dared to privately criticize the family disappointment, and that became public.  (No not Track. No not Willow. The other family disappointment.)

Well I think we can now expect a lot more articles coming from Palin to show up over at Breitbart.

Gee I wonder who will write them for her?

And of course the next question to ask is why does Mansour now need an outside gig? I think the next SarahPAC filings will help to explain that.

(P.S. Personally I am anxiously awaiting the first mouth breather to post a comment asking why our GinaM. is suddenly so cozy with Sarah Palin. Gonna be some mighty confused trolls all up in here today.)

Okay exactly WHO pulled Sarah Palin's string?

"Oops back in the spotlight. Need to show off my assets."
Here is yet ANOTHER ghostwritten post from her Facebook page:

The U.S. Senate has some arcane procedural rules, and as ordinary Americans our eyes glaze over trying to decipher them. But it’s important for us to understand that Sen. Ted Cruz’s efforts to defund Obamacare are worthwhile and doable. (Actually it is neither of those things, but please proceed Skeletor.)

We shouldn’t preemptively surrender the fight to those who rammed through this outrageously burdensome and unaffordable ploy for government control of health care even though some are trying to convince us that the fight is futile. (Because it is.) Just because a fight isn’t easy, doesn’t mean it’s not worth fighting. (Didn't you quit halfway through your first term as Governor?)

This defund movement boils down to a very simple request. As Andrew McCarthy recently pointed out: “Obama himself has already unilaterally and unconstitutionally defunded aspects of Obamacare, including repugnant accommodations for big corporations, Obama insiders, and members of Congress.” All we’re asking is that the rest of America “get the same relief from this awful law that Obama cronies, the ruling class, and the politically-connected get.” (In other words put if off until after the 2014 election so that the voters will not have a chance to see how well it works before heading to the polls.)

Please call your senators and politely ask them to stand with Senator Cruz. This is especially important if your senator is a Democrat up for re-election in a red state in 2014. That would be Senators Mark Begich (D-AK), Mark Pryor (D-AR), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), and Kay Hagan (D-NC). Remind them politely that we are watching their votes very carefully and even a procedural vote that shuts down this debate will be regarded as a vote for Obamacare, and there will be consequences for them at the ballot box next year. The same goes for Republicans up for re-election. We definitely expect them to stand shoulder to shoulder with Senator Cruz through thick and thin. (Yeah I don't think there are very many Republicans who want to be seen with Rafael Ted Cruz right now. OR be endorsed by Sarah Palin for that matter.)

The number for the Capitol Hill Switchboard is 202-224-3121. Ask for your senator’s office. You can also find their contact information and contact them online at http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm    (How nice of Palin's ghostwriter to identify the Senators we need to talk to and provide their contact information. I am sure all of us will take full advantage of it.)

Remember, we elected these senators precisely for moments like this. If they can’t do anything with the power we’ve given them through their elected office, then perhaps it’s time for them to retire and let someone else have a go. (Yes keep replacing experienced politicians with wet behind the ears ideologically driven morns. That has worked SO well for you all in the past.)

Opposition to Obamacare carried us to victory in 2010. And 2014 is just around the corner. (Oh, I think 2014 is going to look a LOT different than 2010. Trust me.)

- Sarah Palin

Okay that post sounded, dare I say it, sane and almost reasonable. In other words it does not sound like EITHER Palin or RAM wrote it.

So clearly somebody has decided that Palin is the appropriate spokesperson to defend Ted Cruz and attack Obamacare, and has provided her with ghostwriting help.

They must also be offering her something in order to use her brand because you KNOW she is not having all of these knocked out, and making back to back television appearance (She will be on with  Neil Cavuto tomorrow) for her health.

Remember the Palin mantra, "What's in if for us?"

So clearly something is in it for her. And after those dismal numbers from her last SarahPAC financial disclosures I'm guessing money.

But whose money?

The Koch brothers?

Tea Party groups?

Democrat donors because they realize that having her endorse something is the kiss of death?

Who knows?

But what seems increasingly clear is that Palin's days of stumbling around in auto shows and disappearing for month long stretches at a time are probably behind her for the foreseeable future.

Anybody want to pass the popcorn?

Sarah Palin weighs in on the Gettysb..the Gettysburg add...you know, that famous speech Lincoln gave. Update!

Don't just stand there, let's get to it. Strike a pose, there's nothing to it, Vogue!

Courtesy of the Great Emulsifier's ghostwritten Facebook page:

Today marks the beginning of the week-long ceremonies commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. There will be a full re-enactment of the battle, discussions with panels of historians, and of course a re-reading of the Gettysburg Address. (An event that I know NOTHING about but it seems presidential if I make a big deal about it.)

But as Lincoln affirmed when he dedicated that hallowed ground, nothing we say or do can “add or detract” from the great sacrifice made there. Gettysburg was a defining moment in the history of our nation; and consequently, one of the most important battles in the history of mankind. (Yes it is the battle that helped to turn the tide of the Civil War and ensure that the Southern racists and religious fundamentalists would not be able to determine the fate of this great country. Are you SURE you, Sarah Palin, want to celebrate this?)

I’ve had the honor of visiting Gettysburg twice, most recently during the One Nation Bus Tour in 2011. (Hey yeah, remember that tour? That was the one where I was able to get my bus rented and decorated for free, and have the entire trip paid for by SarahPAC under the pretense that I was seriously considering a run for President. Ahh, good times!) I brought my family with me and we met other families—even meeting up with friends traveling from Wasilla—as we paid our respects to the monuments and patriot graves. It was important for me to bring the younger generation there in order to instill in them a sense of the duty we owe to the ordinary men who did extraordinary things to make us one nation. (Can you say family vaycay?)

On a sunny summer day there, despite the distance of a hundred and fifty years, you can somehow feel the “mystic cords of memory” binding us to that generation whose “hearts were touched with fire.” (Actually it's "mystic chords of memory" but since you never read it how could you know that? Dammit RAM you were supposed to do research!)

Just in case she has it changed and accuses me of lying.

I felt it myself when I visited that day a few years ago.I felt it when I prayed at Little Round Top in gratitude to the unflinching courage of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain and his men from Maine who held the line when the fate of the battle, and hence the nation, was at stake.  I felt it when I looked out across the field where Pickett’s Charge took place and contemplated the doomed valor of those men of Old Virginia. I felt it when I stood at the High Water Mark, where Alonzo Cushing gave his life to repel the furthest advance of the Confederate cause and thus end the three-day battle. (Glorifying the Northern oppressors over the Southern rebels? Well there goes your Tea party support moron.)

Gettysburg is where we truly became one nation. It was the decisive battle of a war in which we righted the unfinished business of our founding by freeing those whose enslavement was our greatest shame.

Yes the battle helped to free the African slaves, who in 1870 were given the right to vote, and they used that right in 2008 to turn out en masse and help to elect one Barack Hussein Obama and kick your skinny ass to the curb. How you liking the Battle of Gettysburg now?

Somehow I don't think that Palin really thought this Facebook post through.

Not only did she misquote Lincoln, but she is essentially celebrating a battle that the South is till very defensive about. They do not exactly share the positive view of its outcome with those of us in the North.

In fact it was only last month that new NRA President Jim Porter referred to it in a speech as the "War of Northern Aggression."

And perhaps Palin did not get the memo, but MOST of her support comes from those who hate having a black man in the White House, don't trust Washington D.C., and like their religion misogynist and oppressive. You know, Southerners.

I swear if there were nothing stupid to say, this woman would have NO reason to open her mouth.

Update: Well apparently SOMEBODY has paid us a visit today.

"Shh, act natural. Probably nobody else besides those assholes at IM even noticed anything. After all, OUR people aren't very bright."

You knew it was coming! The Right Wing flips out over Obama appointing Susan Rice as National Security Adviser. And Sarah Palin leads the charge.

Dammit! Nothing is working out the way I expected. Gotta be Obama's fault!
Courtesy of Tundra Twit's ghostwritten Facebook page:

We're in for a helluva' ride, America. Obama just named Susan Rice as his National Security Adviser and nominated Samantha Power to replace Rice as our U.N. ambassador. Samantha Power is married to Cass Sunstein, the very, very strange Obama pick for an early "czar" position who wowed us with his numerous bizarre claims including the wacko belief that animals should have the right to sue in court, that hunting should be banned as genocide, and that pet ownership is akin to “slavery.” But Mrs. Cass Sunstein’s character judgment in choosing her life partner is the least of America's worries. Information about Obama's new picks will be revealed in coming days. Pay attention to who they are; what they stand for; and what their records, associations, and statements reveal about them and their intentions. Especially consider Obama's chosen ones as evidence of his skewed thinking as he "fundamentally transforms" our great nation.

OMG! OMG! Obama picked a woman whose husband loves animals and Susan Rice who according to conservatives killed those four Americans in Benghazi with her bare hands and then tried to cover it up! It's the End of Days!

RAM continues her freakout on behalf of the Queen of Mean by citing various Right Wing new outlets like Breitbart, The Blaze, and the Daily Caller to help make her point that the sky is clearly falling. You know, to add credibility.

And then sums it up thusly:

Nah, America... I shouldn't have prefaced this post with a warning to hang on because "we're in for a helluva' ride." Sorry. That was crass and inaccurate. I should have just said about Obama's judgment and unchecked power, "America, we are so screwed."

- Sarah Palin

Have you ever noticed that people on the Right like this dipshit, NEVER seem to recognize when the actual "screwing" is taking place but only get upset when they notice somebody trying to deal with the aftermath of that screwing?

There is very little of Palin in this post, and the only reason I remarked on it is because it is an indication of how pissed off the conservatives are that their plan to destroy Susan Rice and the President has failed so spectacularly.

For me the only thing better than watching the President outmaneuver these idiots is watching their temper tantrum afterward.

Keep stomping your feet and tearing out your hair Sarah, even though doing so will only result in premature baldness and fallen arches. Or is it already too late top prevent that?

There is a perceived attack on the Teabaggers by a government agency, "Unleash the Wendigo!"

"Is this how Margaret Thatcher slurped her Big Gulp?"
Courtesy of the North Star of Arizona's Facebook page:

Let the Light Shine

Today we learned that our government targeted and harassed conservative Americans who simply wanted to be involved in the national discussion. Is it any wonder why Americans are so distrustful of D.C.? I'm sure President Obama is grateful for all the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign, but, still, you have to wonder how the bureaucrats who tried to pull this off can sleep at night.

So many Americans knew this was happening, but many felt defenseless and even helpless against a government that seems to roll along without accountability or sense of obligation to the people it’s supposed to serve. These Americans were mocked for being concerned about this, but now we see light shining on the truth, finally.

This IRS revelation is another step in the unraveling of the Obama administration's self-proclaimed “hope and change.” Between the Benghazi cover-up and the IRS targeting Obama’s political opponents, we see the corruption at the heart of big government.

Americans should remember that this same corrupt IRS will be in charge of enforcing Obamacare. And this same inept and corrupt government will supposedly secure our now unsecured borders in advance of immigration reform and will implement a completely ethical and non-political IPAB panel to make life and death health care decisions for you and your family. Forgive me for not trusting these big government promises any more than I trust the White House’s latest Benghazi spin or the IRS’ fairness. (I bet you did not think she could link this IRS thing to Benghazi but you were wrong!)

Despite all of this, I still believe that this “fundamental transformation of America” is temporary. This attempted transformation into a disheartened, weakened, unrecognizable nation is so far below anything Americans deserve. It becomes permanent only if we throw up our hands and surrender to the corruption and cover-ups.

We must demand more light shine on all that’s transpiring in D.C.’s self-absorbed bubble. On the IRS scandal, we must have accountability and a full investigation. On Benghazi, Speaker Boehner must create a Select Committee with full investigative and subpoena authority to get to the bottom of the cover-up. Keep the faith, friends.

 - Sarah Palin

"Oh..My..God! They are attacking the Teabaggers! Somebody rouse RAM from her Twinkie induced coma and get her typing right this instant! I probably have so much I need her to make me appear to say about this!"

Of course as usual there is only a barely discernible molehill under this mountain of moose poop.

This was reported by the AP:

Lerner acknowledged it was wrong for the agency to target groups based on political affiliation.

"That was absolutely incorrect, it was insensitive and it was inappropriate. That's not how we go about selecting cases for further review," Lerner said at a conference sponsored by the American Bar Association.

"The IRS would like to apologize for that," she added.

Lerner said the practice was initiated by low-level workers in Cincinnati and was not motivated by political bias. Agency officials found out about the practice last year and moved to correct it, the IRS said in a statement. The statement did not specify when officials found out.

About 75 groups were inappropriately targeted. None had their tax-exempt status revoked, Lerner said.

What's more, as White House Spokesman Jay Carney pointed out, at the time this was going on the IRS was headed by a Bush appointee, NOT an Obama appointee.

So unless Palin and her band of merry morons want to blame George W. Bush for targeting them, I guess they don't really have much of an argument to make here.

Of course having said that let me just remind you that even some of the GOP has called out certain Tea Party groups for illegal fundraising, so it should NOT be considered unusual or unexpected that they would get extra scrutiny.

Personally I think the only reason this apology was issued in the first place is because the Teabaggers were afraid that if the IRA continued to look it would eventually find something, so they bitched and threw a tantrum until they backed off.

If it were up to me not ONLY would their tax returns be scrutinized but I would also assign undercover FBI agents to attend their meetings and start arresting these assholes the minute they talk about taking up arms against our government or engaging in sedition.

And then Sarah Palin can make her ghostwriter type a Facebook post about THAT!

Friday, April 26, 2013

Either Sarah Palin's ghostwriter has started drinking heavily, or Palin is writing her own Facebook posts.

I happened to wander on over to Palin's Facebook page, just to see what is what, and noticed a rather meandering post about her sister Heather's recent marathon.

Now Palins is simply bragging about her sister, and her sister's family, and there is certainly nothing wrong about that. However as I read it I was suddenly struck by the fact that it actually sounds like Sarah Palin.

Wait, what? Sarah Palin is writing her own Facebook posts, like a common peasant?

Yep, I kinda think she is.

Here check out this description of her sister's life:

Heather works full-time with children with special needs in the Anchorage School District, plus she works weekends in a dental office and conducts tours for Alaska Salmon Berry Tours, in addition to helping at the family-owned business, Bruce's Muldoon Chevron gas station. And she and her husband raise three busy kids! Heather helps out with all the nieces and nephews (thank you for stepping in so often for Todd and me, Heather!), too. She helps answer my mail and fends off pesky reporters who unfortunately bug her to try to get to me to do more of their bugging.

"Bug her to try and get me to do more of their bugging." What does that even mean?

But that's not all.

But the coolest thing about all this today, besides finally finding out her kick-butt race time, was re-reading her most recent group text to the family.

"Kick-butt race time." That's a Wasilla High education for you.

Here's my favorite concerning how she thinks her sister will respond to this post.

And Heather will want to wring my neck for bragging about her. Or she'll arm wrestle me into oblivion to teach me a lesson.

"Arm wrestle me into oblivion." Yeah I am going to go with NO ghostwriter on this one.

So what does that mean? Does it mean that RAM and Nancy quit? Or does it mean that Palin is cutting back on the expenditures, and using her writers sparingly, because the SarahPAC money has started to dry up significantly?

Not sure yet, but something has certainly changed. As low as my opinion of RAM is, I am fairly confident she would not have allowed this post to hit Facebook without a significant rewrite.

Okay and speaking of something being up, my spies in Wasilla tell me that Bristol has been spotted filming with Melissa Rivers. Yes, THAT Melissa Rivers.

I have only one source, but they are pretty darn sure of their information. So far I have found nothing more to corroborate, or explain, this gossip but perhaps some of you in the Valley can keep an eye out and let me know how in the hell this slipped under the radar.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Sarah Palin is under attack, quick somebody see if there is anybody still willing to defend her. Really, JUST them?

So you knew it was coming, and of course it did.

After yesterday's post by a former Palin-bot expressing her disappointment in her idol for not hobnobbing with her fellow conservatives, it was really only a matter of time before Palin's few remaining supporters, and in this case actually people she pays to defend her, would speak out.

And where is one of the few places left that will provide a platform for the disgraced and no longer relevant Grizzly Mama's defenders to stomp their feet and yell "No fair, no fair, no fair?"

Well Breitbart.com of course:

Doug McMarlin, who has been with Palin since 2008 and was with her at this year's CPAC, was also perplexed by Hughes's characterization of the event. Palin met with volunteers, supporters and CPAC leadership at this year's event. Palin keynoted last year's CPAC and was the conference's last speaker, which allowed for her to mix with the audience following her speech.

This year, her slot fell on a Saturday afternoon, which meant there were scheduled speakers immediately after her remarks. It would not have been logistically possible for Palin to even greet the crowd or do talk radio hits from CPAC without causing a huge disturbance due to the crowds that would have swarmed her and disrupted the conference.

(Well of course! That makes sense, she is SO incredibly popular that her appearance would have caused a stampede of personal scooters and walkers, and would have distracted from the other speakers. Why didn't WE think of that?)

"Never underestimate the level the uninformed with a keyboard will go to make a point based on a lack of information," McMarlin told Breitbart News. "Lamestream, mainstream, and no stream media, it's unfortunate when those who lack facts lash out without regard. Governor Palin, as always, was with volunteers, supporters and fellow conservatives throughout her days at CPAC."

And joining McMarlin in his paid for umbrage, was fellow Plain staffer Jason Recher.

Jason Recher, a Palin staffer who has been with Palin at nearly every event since 2008, told Breitbart News Palin never asks for a teleprompter. In fact, reporters have often said Palin improvises during her speeches, which forces reporters to pay attention to every word in order to quote her accurately.

"I've been at almost every speech she's given since '08 and can't think of a time where she ever asked to use a Teleprompter," Recher told Breitbart News. The teleprompters at CPAC were part of the stage set up used for all the speakers; it was not something Palin personally requested.

Of course that flies right in the face of eyewitness accounts that claim that teleprompters were put in place SPECIFICALLY for Palin:

Yes, just before she was to take her turn with the talky-hatey thing, something very odd happened, for the first time all day. The stage crew appeared and set up … teleprompters. NO ONE had used them up to this point, they weren’t even on or near the stage for anyone else at all. Not even Michele “one L, two crazy eyes” Bachmann had used a teleprompter til then, but Sarah had to have them, because her speech was too long to have written on her hands. Talk about your choots-pah!

And this eyewitness even provided photographic evidence.

God Palin-bots must HATE photographic evidence!

But Recher was not alone (Well almost, but not quite.) in his paid defense of Snowdrift Snooki.

Bring forth the RAM!

Hughes, with no evidence whatsoever, alleges Palin made a "rush to the exits" at this year's CPAC, implying Palin did not have time for the grassroots.

Again, not true.

As the photos below indicate, Palin spent time after the speech meeting with volunteers.

In addition, Rebecca Mansour, a Palin staffer, told Breitbart News that Palin had to catch a flight immediately after her speech. "She is a very busy working mom with many family and work obligations, including raising a son with Down syndrome who has scheduled therapies," Mansour said. (Yeah, like Palin takes Trig to any of his appointments. I doubt she even knows when they are, or what they are for.)

Well gee, of course she talked to a few people standing around that would not leave her alone until she posed for a picture and pretended to give a shit about them. What do we think she is, a nasty bitch who is so incredibly insensitive that she abandoned her family, almost allowed her fellow Alaskans to die in the cold, and now ONLY makes appearances for money?

Oh we do? Well then explain these clearly not taken with people who volunteer to keep her name in the media or who paid to see her at the convention pictures! Smart ass!

Palin with volunteers from Organize4Palin and C4P.
CPAC attendees that stopped her in the hallway.
Organize4Palin coordinator and the guy she pays to carry her purse.
See? She was TOTALLY talking to the little people who are still ignorant enough to think she is special and are willing to volunteer their time on her behalf or who bumped into as she made a hasty retreat.

Stupid Teabagger ex-Palin-bot stinky head!

The Lunatic from Lake Lucille has her ghostwriter fire off a Facebook response to the SOTU speech. The question is, does anybody even care? Update!

Courtesy of RAM posing as the Tundra Taint:

If you missed President Obama’s State of the Union address last night, you didn’t miss much – especially if you watched any of his past four State of the Union addresses.

We heard the same recycled rhetoric, and we heard his Orwellian declaration that the cornucopia of new federal programs he proposed, as well as his intention to eradicate world poverty, wouldn’t “increase our deficit by a single dime.”

"Orwellian?" Seriously?

Palin's ghostwriter goes on to challenge essentially everything that the President said last night (Duh!), claiming:

What is the true state of our union? Though this may sound harsh, I’ll speak the truth here. We are a country going bankrupt to fund a bloated, distant, and often corrupt federal government led by venal politicians more concerned with paying off their campaign cronies and consolidating their own power than in preserving the constitutional republic that so many have fought and died for (including our brave men and women in uniform who were barely mentioned last night).

We are a country with an economy being stifled under the weight of a bankrupt and voracious federal machine demanding more taxes and burdensome regulations. Job creators are the ones stuck with the bill when Obama calls for “new revenue.” Their businesses bear the brunt of the nearly 87 million paperwork hours imposed by federal regulations in 2012 – annually costing them $1.75 trillion. And I haven’t even mentioned Obamacare yet, which looms like the dark cloud it is over our private sector. Is it any wonder why our economy is stagnant or why job growth is so anemic? President Obama’s “solution” to these problems is to make the federal government more intrusive, bankrupt, and controlling.

Of course the ghostwriter ignores the fact that the deficit has actually come down under President Obama and that job growth has steadily risen after George Bush (A President who Palin supported by the way), almost destroyed the country's economy.

She (I'm assuming it's a "she") also fails to understand that much of the nation's debt is due to the Bush tax cuts and the two unnecessary wars he launched, which this President is still attempting to wrestle with while providing new services that we desperately need.

The ghostwriter goes on:

Here’s the good news: President Obama is in many ways a lame duck president. None of his ridiculous ideas will come to pass via the legislative process. Of course, he may try to force them down America’s throat by imposing them through other means. But they can be undone if the right people are in position to undo them. He is very bold right now – some would say cocky – because of his November win, but there is another election around the corner, and we can check his boldness at the ballot box by electing constitutional conservatives. We must continue to affirm the fact that growing our bankrupt federal government is NOT the solution. Most of what the federal government does could be handled better on the individual, local, and state levels.

The President has every right to be cocky, he won! And virtually EVERYTHING the Republicans stood for lost. The only reason they were able to gain any seats is due to gerrymandering, because as we know, if Republicans don't cheat, they don't win.

And Palin's ghostwriter is right, there IS another election coming up, let's see how that one works out for the Republicans, shall we? If this idiot is expecting a replay of 2010 I think she is in for quite a huge disappointment, similar to the one she just felt in November.

Oh, and Palin's ghostwriter is right about another thing, there is some good news. And that good news is that Sarah Palin no longer welcome on the cable news airwaves to spit venom at our President and say ridiculous scurrilous things about him, his party, and the patriotic people of this nation who voted for him.

All she can do is have some poor underpaid hack write a rage filled, and fact free Facebook rant about his speeches, which she can then hope that somebody, anybody, will link to and give her poor decomposing corpse a little attention before it slips completely beneath the waves of irrelevance.

Well here you go, I have done that for you right here.  Happy?

Update: By the way i would be remiss if I did not point out that MOST of the rest of the country does not share this dimwit's opinion of last night's speech. This from TPM:

The overwhelming majority of those who tuned in to the State of the Union address approved of the speech delivered by President Barack Obama, according to the findings of a snap poll that was released Wednesday.

The automated survey, conducted Tuesday night by Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling on behalf of the National Resources Defense Council, showed that 67 percent of those who said they watched the State of the Union approved of Obama's speech while 33 percent disapproved. Seventy-two percent of women and 62 percent of men said they approved of the address.

Do you see that 67 % Palin? That is the same 67% that will support this President's policies and who will vote against any Republican candidate who is running for election on sabotaging progress in Washington or on opposing what this President wants to do for this country.

Which is why I kind of agree with how your ghostwriter closed the Facebook rant:

So, do something. 2014 is just around the corner. Get motivated! Get organized. America, don’t retreat. In the words of yet another White House program, “Let’s move.”

Yes, let's.

Sarah Palin and "The end of the political pole dance" or "What do you mean I can only afford one tassel?" Update!

"What are you saying I can't still bring in the money from horny Republican men?"
Courtesy of Politico:

Sarah Palin’s political action committee raised $388,000 in the first three months of the year, but it spent $418,000 and didn’t give a dime to any candidates — which is the purported purpose of the PAC.

Instead, Sarah PAC spent $255,000 on fundraising and a small team of political consultants that Palin has continued to support even as she receded from the political spotlight during the heat of the GOP presidential primary.

It may be a little cruel of me, but I LOVE that even as it becomes increasingly clear that Palin is finished in the world of politics, she cannot bring herself to discontinue with the charade, which means she has to keep "consultants" and "media people" on her payroll for the sake of appearance.

Which of course fits right in with the Palin family tradition of polishing a turd and trying to pass it off as a gold nugget.

And hey do you remember how Palin said that she really did not care about the movie "Game Change" and would NEVER even bother to watch it?

The PAC paid a little more than $19,000 to a Franklin, Tenn.-based company called Passcode Creative that has produced hagiographic Palin videos. The payments appear to coincide with the production and release of a video rebutting HBO’s “Game Change,” which Palin has alleged is based on a “false narrative.”

The two-and-a-half-minute video, which was made to look like a movie trailer, was titled “Game Change We Can Believe In.”

The video splices together a series of laudatory statements about Palin from McCain strategists Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace, who are portrayed in “Game Change” as expressing doubts about Palin.

Yeah you know, not to be a stickler or anything, but usually when something "doesn't matter" to you, you don't spend $19,000 of your supporters money trying to refute it.  I'm just saying.

SarahPAC also paid $1,000 to send the Palin family to DisneyWorld
In the first three months of the year, the PAC also paid $27,500 each to Palin chief of staff Michael Glassner and issue consultant Peter Schweizer, $22,000 to speechwriter and Palin Internet defender Rebecca Mansour, $41,500 to Crawford, $21,000 to researcher Andrew Davis and $12,500 to conservative coalitions liaison Pam Pryor.

Well there are all of the usual suspects. (With the notable exception of Meg Stapletongue. Hmm.)

Nice to see that RAM is currently being paid so well to stay the hell off Twitter while slaving to make Sarah Palin sound like she knows anything about anything.

Considering how little SarahPAC seems to have done this quarter (Except for making that highly entertaining Palin mythology film of course) I started to wonder just what they had manged to spend $418,000 on?

Apparently the answer was buying stamps and filing papers. No, really!

The PAC managed to spend in excess of $67,000 dollars on "postage." And an additional $35,000 plus dollars on "clerical" work (This includes "data entry.").  Now some of this seems fairly legitimate, such as $38.00 to the Postmaster General in Arlington, Virginia, but the majority of it seems a little suspicious.

Personally I think it must be clear to everyone with even one or two working brain cells that SarahPAC has really never been anything but a huge slush fund for the Palin family, and that there is some creative bookkeeping happening to keep Uncle Sam from taking notice, but thirty five THOUSAND dollars for "clerical work" in three months? I mean come on!

Which begs the question, just what is being paid for here?

Much of the postage goes through two companies, MDI Imaging and Mailing and Southwest Publishing and Mailing, which appear to be fairly legitimate.  However for the life of me I cannot imagine how one can spend $67,000 dollars for postage in three months. Especially when only bringing in $388,000 for the quarter.

Now as for the clerical, that is perhaps even more suspicious.

The "data entry" portion was done by a company called Sterling LLC for a total of $8000, which was always paid in increments of $2,000.

The rest was paid to three Alaskan women, Carol Ryan of Wasilla, and what I am assuming is the mother daughter team of Marilyn and Tiffany Lane. Altogether this trio was paid almost $27,000 dollars for the quarter. If that continues for the entire year these three will have earned over $100,000 for "clerical work."  That is quite a sum of money for stuffing envelopes, filing papers, and.....?

Something smells very fishy, and it is not just the hands of a certain Alaska "fish picker." (Insert your own joke here.)

So what do YOU think "clerical work" stand for?

(Here is the link to the SarahPAC quarterly report, if you want to do a little digging of your own.)

Update: Okay by popular demand allow me provide this link to an open letter from Conor Friedersdorf over at the Atlantic to Sarah Palin on behalf of her donors.

Palin takes to Facebook to throw her tiny gauntlet down at the feet of the President of the United States. Chances of him noticing, 0.0001%.

In Palin's delusional state she  has decided that she has "reality showed," and Fox News interviewed, and Facebooked her way into a level of importance that should put her on an even standing with the President of the United States. Therefore she is now directly speaking at him, as one does an imaginary playmate, from her Facebook page. (Because you know President's spend all day surfing Facebook.)

I have decided not to post the entire rant as it is ALWAYS a bad idea to give too much attention to the mentally ill, however I will provide a few portions which should be enough to give some insight into her pathology.

From the ghostwritten (Thanks RAM) Facebook pages of the Lunatic of Lake Lucille:

The far Left continues to believe American voters are not smart enough to grasp the diversionary tactics it employs to distract us from the issues our President just doesn’t want to talk about – issues that affect us all every day and must be addressed.

Exhibit A in these diversionary tactics is an absurd new attack ad President Obama has released taking my comments out of context. I’m not running for any office, but I’m more than happy to accept the dubious honor of being Barack Obama’s “enemy of the week” if that includes the opportunity to debate him on the issues Americans are actually concerned about. (Remember when I said you don’t need a title to make a difference?)

This is in response to the following ad put out by BarackObama.com.

Clearly Palin believes that "taking comments out of context" means repeating them verbatim, exactly as they were spoken.

She also seems to be under the assumption that being used as an illustration of the insanity coming from the Right Wing is the same as being acknowledged a peer and invited to engage in a debate with the President. Even though in reality you are just a contributor to a pseudo news entertainment channel, the subject of a movie whose central message is the dangers of not vetting VP candidates, and a failed reality star who is such a poisonous personality that even the majority of her past supporters have fled en masse.

Yet that reality does not pierce the cloud of her delusion as illustrated by the following statement.

I’m willing and free to discuss these issues with the President anywhere, anytime.

Well of course she is "willing and free," what ELSE does she have to do?  Unfortunately for her ego the President actually has a country to run and REAL opponents to prepare to debate. So his response to her tantrum was the following:

"................................."

That's right, there wasn't one. Or perhaps you forgot what the President told Barbara Walters back in 2010:

"I don't think about Sarah Palin."

Still stings doesn't it crazy lady?

Finally there is this moment of  wishful thinking from Palin/RAM which stems from the belief that there HAS to be something about this President's past that makes him unqualified for the job. After all he's black!

I welcome the media to join ordinary Americans in finally vetting Barack Obama. The media failed to do so in 2008 to the detriment of us all. Maybe this time around they can do their job.

This last part is a projection of Palin's inability to understand that both SHE and the President were vetted by the press (Though arguably the McCain campaign did everything they could to prevent them from vetting HER) and in the end what they discovered helped Obama become President of the United States and helped Palin become an angry middle aged woman posting angry diatribes on Facebook.

But just imagine if the press HAD adequately vetted Palin, the way they did Barack Obama.

I'm just saying.

Is Rebecca "RAM" Mansour getting married? Update: No!

And before you start, NO I don't think this is the person RAM is marrying.
I had a visitor e-mail me this link of recent marriage licenses issued in Michigan.

Look whose name is on the list:

Rebecca Mansour of Lansing and Laurence M. Oversmith Jr. of Jackson

Yeah I know!  I was pretty flabbergasted too!

I KNEW she got heaved under the Palin bus pretty hard, but I had no idea it would turn her straight.

Unless of course she was straight all along. (I have always been a little fuzzy about that.)

Now currently THIS is the only evidence we have about these potential nuptials, so we certainly cannot be sure that this is THE famous Rebecca Mansour that was Sarah Palin's number one fan and most vicious protector.

However she DID grow up and attend school in Michigan:

An article in the March 17 Section A about Rebecca Mansour, an aide to Sarah Palin, said she grew up in Madison Heights, Mich. She grew up in Royal Oak, Mich., but attended high school in Madison Heights.

It is not much to go on, but perhaps as the days pass we will dig up some more information that will confirm my suspicions.  Or perhaps not, You never can tell.

BTW, I am going to ask that we demonstrate a little restraint and NOT simply slam RAM on her appearance.  I know, it will take every ounce of control that some of you have, but I just think this thread will devolve into a really ugly example of internet abuse if I allow it.

Having said that, I think that her sycophantic allegiance to the Grizzled Mama, her Twitter attacks on Bristol, and her penchant for spreading lies and misinformation are TOTALLY fair game.

Update:  Ops it looks like the Rebecca Mansour getting married is NOT the Rebecca Mansour who was once Sarah Palin's number one fan, before she met the undercarriage of Palin's giant bus to future anonymity.

Well that is too bad, I think it would be great if RAM had something positive going on in her life.

Perhaps she could find something else to drain the Palin poison from her soul.  I don't know, perhaps a couple of interviews, or a book deal, or maybe even having a sit down with a fellow blogger to share some stories about the trials and tribulation of writing about this nasty bitch poor misunderstood political superstar?

You know where to find me Becky.

There has been a RAM sighting! Update!

Somebody sent me a link with pictures of Klondike Kardashian, and her grifting entourage, during their ground invasion of Pella, Iowa.

Here is Palin sporting that famous Wasilly-bumpit whilst getting her caffeine fix.

Here are "hordes" of supporters who turned out to see the Grizzled Mama. (I guess I did not realize how many people living in Iowa had their own sound equipment and video cameras.)

And here is the wind beneath her wings, the Yin to her Yang, and the fire in Palin's belly herself, RAM triumphantly returned from exile!

Well...she doesn't look like she was locked in a cage and kept without food and water or anything. Yep, she definitely had access to food alright.

Well I am just glad she is safe.  Even though she hates me, and thinks I am a pervert, I have to say I was a little worried.

I even had another graphic made up in her honor.

See? Now would I have done that if I did not care? (Or thought it was really, really funny?)

Update: Here is a link that takes you to some video of Palin in Iowa. Check out the 40 second mark for another glimpse of RAM.

Just when you thought the RAM Tweets could not be any more scandalolus. Wrong again Spanky! Update!

This comes from the same guy who has been posting all of the other tweets from RAM, and the same guy who sent some of them to the Daily Caller.

In other words it looks legitimate, which would reinforce what I have believed about RAM's relationship with Palin all along, and WHY she has dropped off the face of the planet.

Update: Oops looks like it might have been too good to be true.  If THIS tweet is to be believed that is:

I also stumbled upon THIS interesting tweet from RAM alluding to a planned dinner with the Alaska bloggers that Phil Munger attempted to set up quite a while back, before RAM was officially working for Palin.

I always KNEW she cancelled because of me. Not that it breaks my heart any.

Still it is kind of hurtful considering I am the ONLY one who seems to be actively trying to find out what happened to her.  I even put her face on a milk carton. (Well on the internet anyway.)

Remember if anybody sees her, first stifle your scream of horror, and then contact me immediately!

Thursday, June 23, 2011

Nobody has heard from Sarah Palin's ghostwriter/stalker Rebecca Mansour since May 20, 2011. That can't be good.

No hide nor hair seen of RAM since this tweet over a month ago. Which was four days before THIS story broke.

If anybody has seen this person, and one would think she would be hard to miss, please contact this blog.  Or the authorities, if that seems more appropriate.

Desperate conservative blogger predicts Sarah Palin will announce her candidacy next week. Palin quickly crushes rumor.

From the American Spectator:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is expected within a week to make a decision on whether to enter the 2012 presidential campaign, according to one Republican source.

Vendors of campaign services who hope to work for Team Palin have been told that Palin, the 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate, will decide soon one way or another on mounting a 2012 campaign.

This is clearly wishful thinking on this blogger's apart, and Granny Grifter was quick to put him in his place. (Which by the way is under her heel.)

Really? Hmm, guess they forgot to inform me what I'm "expected to do" next wk MT@AmSpec: Palin Decision Expected Next Wk http://t.co/Ewt2Miq
6 hours ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

This compelled the now publicly humiliated Palin pantie sniffer to whine in response:

OK, fine, governor, but I was reporting what my source had been told. Has my source been misinformed?

By the way this slimy little punk is one of the blogging Palin-bots that Sarah and her attorney Thomas Van Flein sent against me back in 2009, and he was so thoroughly inept that he and his buddy Dan Riehl ended up inventing a whole bizarre conspiracy about my background that was so completely removed from reality that I STILL have no idea how they came up with it.  I am not at all surprised to see that he still can't find his own ass with both hands and a road map.

My prediction is that this kind of disappointing news will keep coming out of the Palin camp until the Winged Monkeys start cannibalizing each other in a frenzy of frustration, devouring the weaker ones, until there is only a handful of angry, spiteful, though surprisingly plump, supporters left.

And the really funny thing is that Palin has every intention of dragging this thing out past the 2012 election and into the future until the very last battered and bruised Palin sycophant loses their grip on the bumper of her speeding "All about me" tour bus and bounces lifelessly into a nearby ditch.

By the way if you go back and check those ditches now, THAT is where you will  find what remains of "Number one Palin-fan" Rebecca Monsour, after her unfortunate fall from grace.

Ram gets the Taiwan animation treatment.

By the way it has now been ten days since Sarah Palin's biggest fan last tweeted.

Has anybody thought to start dredging Lake Lucille yet?

Sarah Palin's number one fan is just as vindictive as her "BigBoss." Update!

Somebody forwarded direct messages they received  from Rebecca Mansour to the Daily Caller. Oh THIS ought to be good!

Mansour sent these embarrassing and revealing missives as “direct messages” on Twitter to an online-only acquaintance approximately a year ago. The person who received the messages forwarded them to TheDC.

Here are a few examples of the kinds of things that ooze from the depths of RAM's twisted psyche.

RedState.com founder and CNN contributor Erick Erickson is “a total douchebag,” wrote Palin speechwriter and domestic policy adviser Rebecca Mansour in a May 22, 2010, message. “Greasy dumb ass with a talent for self-promotion. He threw himself in at the Gov’s SC rally. Self-promotion.”

Mitt Romney supporters are “wacky as hell,” Mansour wrote, but usually Romney’s presence online is just an “AstroTurf brigade.”

“Would love to tell Mitt’s lackeys to stop backstabbing my boss anonymously,” Mansour wrote.

Mansour also confirmed that having Joe McGinniss move next door threw the Mama Grizzly into a frenzy, and that the attacks on his character were indeed orchestrated.

When author Joe McGinnis moved next door to Palin, prompting a protest by her, Mansour told her correspondent, a pro-Palin activist, “Time to find a way to go medieval on this McGinniss. Don’t be fooled by the light tone of the [Facebook] post. The BigBoss is so upset by this.”

In response to an unknown suggestion by the recipient of the messages, Mansour wrote “I was thinking more along the lines of mailing him a dead fish.”

Even first daughter Bristol was not spared RAM's venom.

But by far the most incendiary messages are about Palin’s daughter Bristol. Sent in the aftermath of Bristol announcing to Us Weekly she was planning to marry Levi Johnston, Mansour wrote, “I wish they were the Cleavers too. But it’s life.”

“Two words: Patti Davis. Okay three more: Ron Reagan Junior. Two more: Billy Carter. Doesn’t your family have one?” Mansour said.

“She will hold her at arm’s length. Even Thatcher was never able to disown her screw up son Mark. It’s a Mom thing,” Mansour wrote.

Damn!  I guess I kind of knew this about this vicious piece of work, but even I am stunned at her ugliness.

I would be very surprised if this does not have her eating bus tread by the end of the day.  I cannot imagine that Palin will let those statements about her daughter go without punishing RAM severely.

I see an opening for a new Facebook writer and attack lesbian opening over in Palinville.

Update: Here are ALL of the tweets sent to the Daily Caller.

Update 2: Politico weighs in.

In addition to the damaging Tweets, the Daily Caller reported that Mansour initially denied that she had sent the messages to the unnamed source, claiming they had been doctored. “I did actually send him one direct message. He was asking for – it was like something really innocuous – he was just asking for information about something,” she tried to explain. “And I just replied and said, ‘no’ or something like that. And then the kid then used that and started to create direct messages. And that was like a real serious thing for me because I realized anyone can do that with like a screencap.”

If Mansour has been let go by SarahPAC, there is unlikely to be any announcement for some time. Staff changes and reshuffles in Palin’s camp are typically announced quietly only weeks or months after the fact. Or Palin watchers might have to wait for an answer until the PAC’s next FEC report to see if the aide is still being paid.

I had a late night conversation with a fellow Alaskan blogger yesterday, and we both discussed the possibility of RAM walking around with tire marks all over her body today.  However we also had to wonder if Palin really had anybody to take her place if she tossed her aside?

Essentially Palin has ALWAYS surrounded herself with sycophantic followers who are, in some way, also attracted to her.

This is made quite clear in Frank Bailey's book.  He was essentially smitten with Palin, and, by his own admission, would do ANYTHING for her, including things that were completely out of character for him.

In many ways, and for many of the same reasons, RAM is Frank Bailey's replacement, but the question is WHO replaces her?  And are there still people out there who are as drawn to Palin's "charms" as there once were?

She does not simply want loyal paid staff members, she needs to be worshipped.  And she needs those worshippers to swear their allegiance to her, and mean it. That is exactly how RAM finally convinced Sister Sarah to let her into the inner circle.

Update 3: The individual who leaked the RAM tweets revealed!

I've been waiting for this one to break for a few months, as somebody tried to sell me the same emails last fall.

"Does Politico pay for exclusives? Cause I'm looking to sell. I have 122 direct messages from Sarah Palin staffer Rebecca Mansour," the person emailed, eventually sending along sample direct messages identical to a couple the Caller posted. They were forwarded from the account of one improbably named Toki de la Vega, a contributor to some pro-Palin sites, though there was a man's name attached to one of the tweets as well.

I responded with a counter-offer of lunch and "undying gratitude."

"Sorry, Ben, but it's going to take more than a happy meal and a hand shake to get me to betray someone's confidence. Only freshly printed 100 dollar bills help me get over feelings of guilt," wrote the emailer, who continued, "Would it violate some fake journalistic ethics and standards to get me in contact someone who does pay? I know that the thought of blogging about this is making your panties wet. The topics range from Chuck Hagel to Ricky Hollywood and everything else in between. It's a f***ing blogger's gold mine."

Hmm I wonder how many OTHER people have this kind of behind the scenes information about Palin and her disciples? And how much longer will it be before they start looking for THEIR payday?

Update 4: For those people who still believe I chose the above picture of RAM in order to draw attention to her looks, I will post the ONLY other recent picture I have of her.

Personally I thought I chose the least unattractive one of the two, but if you like this one better so be it.
