Hey remember how I suggested that Ben Carson may have stepped out on his wife and I got jumped on right away? Well check this out.
Ben Carson Say He Was Sued For Paternity by tommyxtopher Courtesy of Mediaite:
A few years ago I was in the operating room, and I got a phone call from one of the Hopkins attorneys, and they said that the state of Florida was trying to attach my wages for child support. And I said “Well, I have three children, and I support them very well.” They said “No, there’s a lady in Florida who claims that you are the father of her son. And she has provided evidence of same. She told where you went to high school, where you went to college, where you went to medical school, where you did your internship and residency, how you went to Australia after that, she even has a picture of you in scrubs.” Well, you know, all that is public knowledge, so how are they going to pursue that on the basis of public knowledge? But they were going to do it, I had to get my attorney involved, and it escalated. And finally, they said “Well, we can resolve all of this if you send us some of your blood, and we can do DNA testing. And I said “Wait a minute, you people, as incompetent as you are, want me to send you a specimen of my blood?” I said “The next thing I know, it will be in a murder scene, and I’ll be in prison for the rest of my life,” I said “There’s no way you’re getting my blood.” So, you know, it continued to escalate, but you know, eventually it died. And the reason it died is because I stood boldly, I never caved. But there was a reason that I never caved. Because I knew that in my entire life, the only woman I had ever slept with was my wife.
So wait he REFUSED to take a DNA test to prove he was not the father, and yet he thinks THAT somehow supports his denial of paternity? Really?
You may remember that yesterday I posted about Carson's crazy house filled with Trump-like homages to himself.
Somebody got pissy about my inclusion of a picture of his wife and said I was being sexist. I replied in the following manner:
By the way if you think he has not cheated on her several times in their past, I have a bridge I would like to sell you. These super super religious types, with doting wives, are almost always incredible hypocrites, and I seriously doubt he is turning down too many opportunities to take advantage of good looks and fame.
Now when I said that I did so with absolute confidence that I was on firm footing. And I think that video up above more or less proves my point.
You see something that habitual liars do, and at this point I think EVERYBODY realizes that Carson is a habitual liar, is to deny something that they did ahead of time before the person, or people, they are talking to even suspects them of doing it.
We saw an example of this with Sarah Palin, when she claimed in her book that when she received a bill from her doctor after a miscarriage that the word "abortion" had been covered in Wite-Out and the word "miscarriage" written over it.
Why even include that unless you are worried that somebody is going to accuse you of having an abortion?
There was also the recent case of the Michigan State Representative who tried to start a rumor about a gay affair, in order to cover up for his actual affair with a female State Representative.
As crazy as it seems, this is not uncommon behaviors for people trying to deflect interest from a secret that they do not want to get out.
And yes I think that is what we are seeing with Ben Carson. This falls directly within that same pattern of behavior.
And that contention is only reinforced by this reporting by Mediaite:
According to the Florida Department of Revenue, there are a few holes in Carson’s story. According to their spokesperson, the state would not have contacted an employer based solely on a claim of paternity. “Wage attachment (income withholding) must be based on an income deduction order issued by a court or administrative tribunal. Before an income deduction order is issued, paternity must be established, if needed, and a support order established,” said the spokesperson in an email to Mediaite. Dr. Carson claims he learned of the claim through Johns Hopkins’ attorneys.
Hey do you know what makes paternity cases go away without ever having to go through the courts?
Hush money.
So obviously this is not proof that Ben Carson is a scumbag who cheated on his wife, but even if you had doubts yesterday when I first postulated that theory this must make it seem far more likely.
Don't you agree?

Realizing that they can no longer win national elections Republicans now want to change the rules. By a show of hands, who did NOT see this coming?
Courtesy of Mother Jones:
Remember, the presidential election isn't a nationwide contest, it's a state-by-state fight, with each state worth a certain number of electoral votes (the District of Columbia gets 3, too). There are 538 electoral votes total; if you win 270 or more, you're headed to the White House—even, as George W. Bush can assure you, if you don't win the popular vote. The Constitution allows each state to allocate electoral votes however it wants, but in every state except for Nebraska and Maine, the contest is winner-take-all. If you get the most votes in Pennsylvania, you get all of its electoral votes.
Republicans want to change that. On December 3, Dominic Pileggi, the powerful Republican majority leader of the Pennsylvania state Senate, announced that he plans to introduce legislation that would change how the state allocates its electoral votes. This shouldn't be a surprise: Pileggi was one of the Pennsylvania politicians behind the preelection plan to change Electoral College rules.
Before the election, Pileggi's plan (backed by a mysterious dark-money group called All Votes Matter) was to allocate electoral votes by congressional district, with the winner of each district receiving one electoral vote and the statewide winner getting a two-electoral-vote bonus. That might not seem like a big deal. But Pennsylvania, like other blue states in the upper Midwest, was subjected to a very effective Republican gerrymander after the 2010 midterm elections. Republicans won 13 of its 18 districts in 2012, so if Pileggi's preelection plan had been in effect, Obama could have been awarded as few as 7 of Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes, despite winning the state.
Pileggi's postelection scheme has a new twist. Instead of awarding electoral votes by congressional district, it would award them in relation to the statewide popular vote, with a two-electoral-vote bonus for the winner. That would prevent blatantly undemocratic effects like a candidate losing a state's popular vote but still winning its electoral votes. But it would still have a similar effect to Pileggi's earlier idea—it would ensure that at least some of Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes, which have gone to Democrats in every election since 1992, would go to Republicans. In a close election, that could change the outcome.
In other words, the cheating that he GOP did in this last election was not effective so now they want to pass laws to cheat the system in a more overt manner.
So rather than fundamentally change their message in order to reach a younger, less Caucasian, and less gender specific audience, the Republicans are simply looking for a way to continue jamming THEIR values and big business friendly agenda down the throats of the voters who just loudly told them "NO!"
Fuck that!
But hey if we ARE going to change how we count votes in this country, then let's just do away with the electoral college altogether, go to making EVERY vote count, and let the Republicans fight it out state by state, issue by issue, and vote by vote.
Because I will tell you right now, if they did it like that the Republican party would go the way of the Dodo Bird in no time at all. If, that is, they are not already at the brink of extinction.

Proof that the Republicans are actively stealing our elections, and have been doing so since at least 2008.
Courtesy of UK Progressive:
In states where the winner will be decided by less than 10%, of the vote he already knows he will win. This is no tinfoil hat conspiracy. It’s a maths problem. And mathematics showed changes in actual raw voting data that had no statistical correlation other than programmable computer fraud. This computer fraud resulted in votes being flipped from Democrat to Republican in every federal, senatorial, congressional and gubernatorial election since 2008 (thus far) and in the 2012 primary contests from other Republicans to Mitt Romney.
This goes well beyond Romney’s investment control in voting machine maker Hart Intercivic and Diebold’s close ties to George W. Bush. Indeed all five voting machine companies have very strong GOP fundraising ties, yet executives (including the candidate’s son Tagg Romney) insist there is no conflict between massively supporting one party financially whilst controlling the machines that record and count the votes.
A retired NSA analyst has spent several sleepless nights applying a simple formula to past election results across Arizona. His results showed across-the-board systemic election fraud on a coordinated and massive scale. But the analysis indicated that this only happens in larger precincts because anomalies in small precincts can be more easily detected.
“Easy to Cheat”
Retired NSA analyst Michael Duniho has worked for nearly seven years trying to understand voting anomalies in his home state of Arizona and Pima County. This publication has written extensively about apparent vote machine manipulation in a 2006 RTA Bond issue election that is still being fought in the courts. Said Duniho, “It is really easy to cheat using computers to count votes, because you can’t see what is going on in the machine.”
When Duniho applied a mathematical model to actual voting results in the largest voting precincts, he saw that only the large precincts suddenly trended towards Mitt Romney in the Arizona primary – and indeed all Republicans in every election since 2008 – by a factor of 8%-10%. The Republican candidate in every race saw an 8-10%. gain in his totals whilst the Democrat lost 8-10%. This is a swing of up to 20 point, enough to win an election unless a candidate was losing very badly.
Since sifting through and decoding massive amounts of data was his work for decades on behalf of the National Security Agency, he wanted to understand why this was ONLY happening in large precincts.
Nose Counting
The idea of examining large precinct results came via a link to a report written by Francois Choquette and James Johnson. Choquette became curious about South Carolina primary results in the February Republican contest. There a poll observer noted an unusually big gain of votes for Mitt Romney in larger precincts than in smaller ones. Choquette wanted to know why?
He examined and applied all of the normal statistical markers to see where a variance might occur: income level, population density, race, urban vs. rural, even party registration numbers. He found no correlation to explain why Romney votes trended upward while Paul and Santorum votes trended downward -yet only in large precincts.
Choquette then looked at all 50 states and found roughly a 10% switch in votes from Democrat to GOP. This was noted in every state except Utah, where the presumption was, as it was Mitt’s religious home state and very conservative, there was no chance of Romney losing and no variance was found.
Choquette even saw in Maricopa County, which is Phoenix and its suburbs, that in 2008 Romney used this technique against John McCain. But McCain beat him by too much for a 10% fraud gain to matter. McCain tried to do the same thing in the general election to President Obama but 9 million votes nationally were too many to make up.
I have been trying to post this extremely important story since last night, but have found it virtually impossible to open the article over at UK Progressive. Today I learned why:
Our website has been under a DDOS attack for the last 12 hours by GOP operatives who do not want the story of stolen elections to get out.
That is why I put such a late sampling along with the video here at IM. It is EXTREMELY important that we get this information out to the voters and authorities as quickly as possible.
I think in many ways this will come as no surprise to most of us, after all we have been talking about the GOP's many methods of stealing elections for quite some time, but to discover just how entrenched these methods are within the system itself, is fairly frightening.
Not to be too negative, but it may be too late to fix a problem like this before November 6, which means the ONLY way to beat it is to give President Obama a fucking landslide.
So if you have not voted yet, do it now, and get as MANY as your friends and family to vote early as well. Maybe, just maybe, we can beat these bastards despite their cowardly attempts to steal our democracy right from under our noses.
God damn this pisses me off!

Republican Congressman in Pennsylvania admits that the voter ID law has nothing to do with stopping voter fraud, and everything to do with stopping President Obama.

You know I had earlier decided to avoid Hardball after I became irritated with Tweety's habit of talking over his guests, and his trumpeting of certain GOP presidential hopefuls, but lately he has been doing some very impressive pieces on the Republicans and I now find myself looking forward to what he comes up with next.

The problem facing us in the upcoming election. And a possible solution from an unlikely source.
This may be a comic, but there is nothing comical about the very real problem facing us in the 2012 elections.
If this were a level playing field the Democrats would mop the floor with the Republicans, but there will be NOTHING fair about how this election pans out.
The Republicans are like the kid who starts running and then yells "GO," or ties your shoelaces together when you're not looking, or "accidentally" trips you at the starting line. In their eyes winning is all that counts and "everything is fair in love, and war." And OH how they "love" the "war" of politics.
That is why it is of paramount importance for the Obama supporters to get out the vote, and not JUST get it out, but get it out in HUGE numbers. History has shown that the GOP cannot steal an election if there are too many votes on the other side to fudge.
However there might be a little help coming the Democrats way, because as it turns out there seems to be a very aggressive fly in the Republican ointment.
Ron Paul.
He has yet to win a primary. All his other fellow long-shots have dropped out (or will by the end of the day). The Republican National Committee is calling former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney the “presumptive nominee.”
Yet at state conventions around the country, Paul supporters are increasing the candidate’s support by taking over state party committees and educating fellow Paul fans in arcane rules.
While at many conventions Romney backers are split between numerous would-be delegates, Paul supporters are showing up in droves and voting with discipline for a delegate slate.
With a plurality of delegates from five states, Paul supporters could nominate him from the convention floor — the goal of at least some Paul supporters.
It appears that the Ron Paul people are about to give the Republicans a taste of their own bitter medicine, and are actively attempting to undermine the selection of Mitt Romney as the GOP nominee by hook or by crook. And make no mistake they will NOT be dissuaded, because apparently they see themselves as the saviors of the Republican party.
At least according to this e-mail.
After we take over the Alaska convention, we will be able to nominate Dr. Paul from the floor at the Republican National Convention. We will have a floor fight at the national convention and when it's all said and done, Dr. Paul will be the nominee. Despite what the Republican Party wants us to believe, this election is not about beating Obama. This election is about cleansing the Republican Party. The poor excuse for Americans that support Santorum, Gingrich, and Romney need to be run out of the Republican Party. Once we have cleansed the Republican Party and President Paul is elected, we will end America’s wars of aggression, we will put an end to American imperialism, and we will end the Fed!
So while the Republicans are actively trying to disenfranchise minority voters, Diebold away votes from Obama, and undermine Democracy yet again in his upcoming election, they are also simultaneous struggling to maintain control of their own party and fighting off an insurgency of Ron Paul supporters.
Wow! And we thought the last election cycle was a train wreck!

Democracy in danger as laboratory discovers that Diebold voting machines can be hacked by remote control!
Courtesy of Salon:
It could be one of the most disturbing e-voting machine hacks to date.
Voting machines used by as many as a quarter of American voters heading to the polls in 2012 can be hacked with just $10.50 in parts and an 8th grade science education, according to computer science and security experts at the Vulnerability Assessment Team at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois. The experts say the newly developed hack could change voting results while leaving absolutely no trace of the manipulation behind.
"We believe these man-in-the-middle attacks are potentially possible on a wide variety of electronic voting machines," said Roger Johnston, leader of the assessment team "We think we can do similar things on pretty much every electronic voting machine."
I cannot for the life of me understand why we have not done away with ALL of the e-voting machines in this country!
I have a great deal of faith in the American people to make the right decision and vote to give President Obama a second term.
I have virtually NO faith in the Republican party to play by the rules.
After what happened in 2000 during the Bush v Gore election, I have been convinced that the Republican motto is "win at all cost."
They no longer care about democracy, or fair play, or the will of the people. All they care about is winning.
And as long as these incredibly faulty machines are still being controlled by that party, and we know that they are, the ONLY way we have of beating them is by having our candidates win by the largest margin possible.
Unless something changes concerning these machines in the next year, the only way that we can ensure a victory for our democracy is by making sure that people turn out to vote, and to make sure the vote they cast is the one that is recorded.
Which is why whenever I hear a progressive suggest that they will stay home because this President is not EXACTLY who he wanted him to be, I literally want to throttle them into unconsciousness.
This is not a game, this is serious. The very definition of who Americans are is at risk and the Republicans have already demonstrated that they have NO intention of playing by the rules.
In other words, THIS seems like the perfect job for Homeland Security.
I have sent them an e-mail with the article, if you would like to do the same here is their contact information.

Just a reminder from 2004 of who the Republicans are, and what they are capable of doing to gain, or hold on to, power.
![]() |
| Karl Rove and George Bush patting each other on the back for fucking over the American people. |
A new filing in the King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell case includes a copy of the Ohio Secretary of State election production system configuration that was in use in Ohio's 2004 presidential election when there was a sudden and unexpected shift in votes for George W. Bush.
The filing also includes the revealing deposition of the late Michael Connell. Connell served as the IT guru for the Bush family and Karl Rove. Connell ran the private IT firm GovTech that created the controversial system that transferred Ohio's vote count late on election night 2004 to a partisan Republican server site in Chattanooga, Tennessee owned by SmarTech. That is when the vote shift happened, not predicted by the exit polls, that led to Bush's unexpected victory. Connell died a month and a half after giving this deposition in a suspicious small plane crash.
Additionally, the filing contains the contract signed between then-Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell and Connell's company, GovTech Solutions. Also included that contract a graphic architectural map of the Secretary of State's election night server layout system.
Cliff Arnebeck, lead attorney in the King Lincoln case, exchanged emails with IT security expert Stephen Spoonamore. Arnebeck asked Spoonamore whether or not SmarTech had the capability to "input data" and thus alter the results of Ohio's 2004 election. Spoonamore responded: "Yes. They would have had data input capacities. The system might have been set up to log which source generated the data but probably did not."
Spoonamore explained that "they [SmarTech] have full access and could change things when and if they want."
Arnebeck specifically asked "Could this be done using whatever bypass techniques Connell developed for the web hosting function." Spoonamore replied "Yes."
This is the kind of thing to keep in mind when you are hearing the Teabaggers talk about "taking their country back."
The GOP are the ones who rigged not one, but TWO, elections and took the choice away from the voters. It was the Republicans who lied to the American people in order to start an unnecessary war in Iraq. And it was the Republicans who put this economy into the tailspin that we are still trying to recover from today.
So exactly WHICH party is the one that stole this country away from its people?
And our President is supposed to negotiate with these unscrupulous bastards?

Team Sarah decides to fight back against the negative information coming out about the lack of interest in "The Undefeated" by faking attendance numbers. Ahh, but of course.
Once again courtesy of my spy in Team Sarah, RAM... Becky...some woman whose name I cannot share.
Team,
Finally, after years of media lies and distortions, we have an opportunity to help PUSH BACK in a big way with the movie “The Undefeated.”
If YOU live in the 10 cities where The Undefeated is showing and DON’T OWN 5 tickets, why not? GET 5 TICKETS for the OPENING NIGHT now!
NOW IS SHOW TIME- as you all know, if these 10 cities are not sold out, the media will declare Sarah Palin a “has-been” or a “lost cause.” (I have to admit they have a point here.)
10 Cities, 300 tickets each RIGHT NOW for THE FIRST NIGHT’s SHOW!
Can we, Team Sarah members who SUPPORT Sarah Palin, get 300 people in each of 10 cities (only 3,000 total) to come to the OPENING NIGHT and show just how much we are committed to Sarah Palin and the values that we believe she represents?
Here’s how to help:
PICK YOUR CITY, or the city near you, and BUY 5 TICKETS for opening night.
If you don’t live in one of these cities, use your contacts and ASK THEM directly to help!
If you support Sarah Palin and have been waiting for an opportunity to DO SOMETHING then NOW IS OUR TIME!
THANK YOU ALL for jumping RIGHT IN RIGHT NOW
The Tiny Team Behind The Team
So since nobody can actually find enough people brain damaged enough to waste their precious moments on this earth watching this cinematic moose turd, these idiots have decided to make those Palin-bot rats who have not yet jumped ship, buy FIVE tickets each in order to make it APPEAR that people like it?
Oh yeah, that should fool EVERYBODY!
For those of you who read Frank Bailey's book this tactic is well known.
Remember how Palin had her supporters sign fawning letters to the editor about her that were written by she and her staff? And how they rigged the newspaper polls to make her seem more popular than she really was?
This is just more of the same. And by the way it really indicates that either Sarah has handed these people her bag of tricks, or that she herself is behind these attempts to salvage her rapidly crumbling reputation.
Personally, I vote for the latter.
A message to all members of Team Sarah

The desperation of the Palin-bots is making them careless.
U.S. Election news put up a couple of polls to get an idea of what the mood of the country was as we geared up for the 2012 Presidential election season.
This is how they describe themselves in the About Us section:
USElectionNews.org was created in August of 2010 in the hopes of becoming a hub for information specific to the United States political and Presidential elections 2012 and beyond. Our content is non-partisan, and includes a wide range of topics featuring all parties, world news, US news, media commentary and much more.
There were a number of questions asked, with the results posted. Such as:
04/18/11 Which 2012 Primary Is Most Important?
37% Florida (Jan 31st, 2012 or later)
26% Iowa (Feb 6th, 2012)
20% New Hampshire (Feb 14th, 2012)
15% South Carolina (Feb 28th, 2012)
2% Nevada (Feb 18th, 2010)
As well as:
04/10/11 Are You Worried About Iran’s Nuclear Capabilities?
43% Yes, I fear they will use the technology for weapons.
29% No, they say it’s for nuclear power only, and I believe them.
28% I don’t know
But then some of the responses seemed to indicate that those answering the questions might have a more, let's just say, "conservative" frame of mind than might be expected.
04/13/11 How Do You Feel About 2012?
43% Excited! At least one GOP candidate already has my vote.
29% Ready. I’ve got my “Obama 2012″ bumper stickers pre-ordered.
8% Bored. The GOP candidates are all the same.
8% Annoyed. Isn’t it early to be thinking about 2012?
7% Anxious. Is it 2012 yet?
5% Undecided. Have to wait and see how Obama’s term plays out before I vote left or right.
04/16/11 Do You Believe Obama Was Born In The US?
51% No. I agree with Trump, Obama hasn’t shown enough proof.
28% Yes. I agree with Romney, if he wasn’t born here someone would have found out already!
11% I’m not sure.
8% I don’t care.
This last one was closed after April 27, after Obama showed his long form birth certificate, but still you kin of get the idea that perhaps these polls are attracting, not only a right wing element, but rather a rabid right wing element.
But there was one poll which flushed them out completely.
4/16/11 Do You Think Sarah Palin Will Run in 2012?
85% Yep, she’s already got my vote!
9% No, she shouldn’t be allowed anywhere NEAR the White House
2% Yes, but I’m voting for another GOP candidate.
2% No, she prefers her celebrity status over the Presidency.
2% I don’t know.
I know right? I mean obviously this is not your usual group of Republicans weighing in on these questions. And clearly that occurred to the gentlemen running this site as well:
Please note this poll was closed early and the results are largely due to an overwhelming response from a certain group, who posted a link to our poll on their forum, TeamSarah.ning.com. Thank you to everyone who voted.
One of the most interesting revelations gleaned from the leaked manuscript for Blind Allegiance
, is that even while she was running for Governor Palin and her supporters put a lot of time into skewing poll results and faking supportive letters to the local newspapers.
Apaprenlty for the Grizzled Mama and her crazy ass supporters, cheating never gets old. Only now that they are so panic stricken about how badly Palin's poll numbers have dropped they have completely lost whatever ability they once had to be subtle.

It looks like Jennifer Grey may have earned herself a spot on the Grizzled Mama's enemies list.
Did she just admit that the show was fixed on Bristol and Sarah Palin's behalf?
You know even before this interview Jennifer was easily my favorite DWTS contestant.
And do you know why she won? Because NOBODY puts "Baby" in a corner!

Bristol comes in third! Tonight everywhere Palin-bots are crying themselves to sleep whispering "We were so close, so close. We have failed you oh great frosty Queen of the North!"
From The Wall Street Journal:
6:57 pm It's between Kyle and Jennifer. And the winner is....Jennifer
6:50 pm Bristol places third. In line with the judges' scores.
6:44 pm Scores: Kyle (28); Jennifer (28); Bristol (27)
They cheated their evil little hearts out, but Sarah Palin's flying monkeys could not quite manage to secure a win for her extremely untalented daughter.
Yes I know it was just a dance contest, but still doesn't it feel good to know that those who refuse to follow the rules did not win the day?
And now it is time for Bristol to fade away and take care of her little...problem.
Update: You knew it was coming. Sarah Palin tweets:
Congrats Jen,Kyle,Bristol,et al, for proving competition is GOOD! Remember: "They're going to criticize anyway, so you might as well dance!"
25 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®
Perhaps somebody needs to remind this idiot that NOBODY was criticizing Jennifer and Kyle because they actually earned their success through hard work and perseverance.
The criticism came because contestants who deserved to remain in the competition were not given that opportunity because the Grizzled Mama's "hounds of hell" spent hours of their life gaming the system at the bidding of their queen.

Bristol Palin's success on DWTS made people working on the show so upset that they are going to be "reworking the entire voting system."
From the Chicago Sun-Times:
After Brandy was booted from “Dancing With the Stars” Tuesday night, a solid source at “DWTS” told me, “People here went crazy.
“Not only was everyone stunned that Bristol [Palin] will be in the finals,” the staffer said, “it just made everyone realize the voting system really needs to be changed. This is going to lead to a reworking of the entire voting system.
“There definitely will be a restructuring to give the judges’ votes more weight. ... It’s tricky, because like ‘American Idol,’ the strength of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ popularity is the fact people know they can have an impact. We don’t want to lose that because that could have a detrimental effect on ratings, but this is getting nuts.”
The source stressed that everyone on the show thinks “Bristol is a very nice girl, but this show is about dancing and not politics! Yes, she’s improved greatly — but come on! Brandy is far more talented than Bristol when it comes to dancing.”
While Brandy put on a good face for the public and on the show, both she and Maks Chmerkov skiy (her partner) were reportedly “livid” backstage — extremely upset about the outcome. Chmerkov skiy told E! Online the voting system is “flawed” and added, “This season has just been ridiculous since day one.”
Like I have said over, and over again. EVERYTHING the Palins touch turns to shit.

The Teabaggers save Bristol again! The far more talented Brandy sent packing.
From E Online:
As everyone knows, momentum on Dancing With the Stars is more than judges' adulation—the voters at home have major pull, as evidenced by Bristol Palin's ascendance into the semifinals, despite consecutive last-place finishes.
But with nothing ahead but the finale, did her fans do enough last night to vault her over Jennifer Grey, Brandy or Kyle Massey for a spot in the top three.
You betcha they did!
Bristol the Pistol will be joining Kyle and Jennifer in next week's final, meaning Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskiy got the boot Tuesday, despite their second-place finish last night that included a perfect Argentine tango.
And according to Tom Bergeron, a series-high number of votes were cast to make it happen.
Not one person didn't look stunned, including Bristol and her partner Mark Ballas.
If this were any other person besides a child of Sarah Palin, and backed by her crazed followers, this would have been impossible to pull off. (For any of those still in denial about how aggressively the Palin-bots cheated to get the Grizzled Mama's untalented cub into the finals, you need to head on over to Jezebel. She will straighten you out.)
Sarah Palin is sending a message to the other Republicans thinking of running for the GOP nomination, and that is that she will do WHATEVER it takes to win. If they take up the gauntlet and go after her as hard as she will go after them they can easily destroy her.
Her life, and her family mythology, are nothing but a fragile house of cards. All it takes is one stiff breeze, and it will come tumbling down just like that crappy fence that Todd put up this summer.
I for one am trying to get my wind machines in order. Stay tuned Palin-bots I think we have some surprises coming your way.
P.S. For those who sent me the Facebook flame war, be patient I will have it up very early in the morning. And I have already sent it around to other interested parties.
