Even after he got him fired Donald Trump cannot stop attacking former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

The Fake News is beside themselves that McCabe was caught, called out and fired. How many hundreds of thousands of dollars was given to wife’s campaign by Crooked H friend, Terry M, who was also under investigation? How many lies? How many leaks? Comey knew it all, and much more!

By the way according to McCabe Trump was obsessed with his wife: 

McCabe also opened up about how the President appeared fixated on his wife's failed campaign, recalling at least four occasions in which Trump taunted him with it as a "mistake" or "problem" and calling her a "loser." 

Trump raised the issue with Comey "out of the blue," according to McCabe, saying things "like, 'What's wrong with that deputy director of yours?' " insinuating that he was somehow politically motivated against the President, which, McCabe says is "absolutely not true." 

"In May, when Director Comey was fired and I had my own interactions with the President, he brought up my wife every time I ever spoke to him," McCabe told CNN, emphasizing that he pushed back. "Of course, I disagreed with him. I don't see my wife's decision to try to enter public life to help her community (have) greater access to healthcare as a mistake or a problem."

Trump also asked McCabe who he voted for in 2016, apparently to gauge his loyalty.

These are the rantings of a VERY insecure and frightened man.

And perhaps he should be because McCabe has something else in common with his former boss James Comey. Copious note taking.

Andrew McCabe — the former FBI deputy director just fired by the attorney general — kept personal memos regarding President Donald Trump. 

That’s according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation who wasn’t authorized to discuss the memos publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity. 

This person says the memos are similar to the ones maintained by former FBI Director James Comey, who Trump fired last May. 

Comey’s series of notes detailed interactions with Trump that Comey said unnerved him. 

The person with knowledge of McCabe’s situation says McCabe’s memos include details of interactions with the president, among other topics. 

It’s not immediately clear whether any of the McCabe memos have been turned over to special counsel Robert Mueller or requested by Mueller.

Well Mueller certainly has them now.

It's a damn good thing that Donald Trump does not accompany his children when they go hunting. Because he would definitely shoot himself in the foot every single time.

Government lawyers are asking a judge to reject request by CNN and others to make Comey memos public.

Government lawyers have asked a judge to reject CNN's requests to make public the memos of former FBI Director James Comey in which he details his meetings with President Donald Trump. 

In a late Friday evening filing, the lawyers also have asked for permission to argue in secret why they say the disclosure could compromise the investigation into Russian election-meddling and potential obstruction of justice into that probe. 

Several news outlets and government watchdogs, including CNN, have requested the documents be released under the Freedom of Information Act. Comey testified in Congress that the documents detail Trump's request that he pledge personal loyalty and what he interpreted as a request to curtail an investigation into Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn. 

Despite Comey's testimony that he wrote the memos specifically to avoid including classified information, the government argued it has now classified portions of the documents.

Releasing the memos, the government said, could "reveal the scope and focus of the investigation and thereby harm the investigation" and any prosecutions.

Yeah I think that last part translates into "We think making these memos public would harm Donald Trump's ability to escape prosecution or impeachment."

Funny how things that were not classified suddenly become classified when it helps to accuse Hillary Clinton of breaking the law, or helps Donald Trump avoid facing the consequences for his actions, don't you think?

Donald Trump is now accusing former FBI Director James Comey of leaking classified information in his memos.

And THAT reporting links to an article over on The Hill.

Now what is interesting about that Hill article is that it was written by a John Solomon, who was just named as The Hill's Executive Vice President, Digital.

Before that he was the editor-in-chief of the Sun Myung Moon founded Washington Times, a conservative new outlet.

In between these two jobs Solomon worked for Circa News, which is owned by the Sinclair Group.

Now if THAT name seems familiar it is because you remember that amazing story that John Oliver did on Sinclair Group buying up local TV news outlets in order to push a conservative agenda and pepper them with Right Wing talking points.

So while I am not saying that for sure this story about James Comey leaking classified information in his memos is bullshit, I think we can all assume that it is bovine excrement of some sort.

Which is more or less backed up by Comey's law professor buddy.

The Columbia University Law School professor and confidant of former FBI Director James Comey refuted a charge by President Donald Trump and his advocates in the media Monday: that Comey shared classified information with journalists. 

Daniel Richman, with whom Comey shared at least one memo -- the contents of which Richman shared with New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt -- said President Trump was simply wrong. 

"No memo was given to me that was marked 'classified,'" Daniel Richman told CNN. "No memo was passed on to the Times." 

Richman did share the contents of one memo, he said, but "the substance of the memo passed on to the Times was not marked classified and to my knowledge remains unclassified."

And let's face it if ANYBODY knows how to draft a memo without revealing classified information it is the former director of the FBI.

I'm going to go ahead and call this a clumsy diversion from Donald Trump. 

This story about his son and the Russian attorney is clearly causing him great concern and he is just throwing shit out there in the hopes that the press will chase after it and leave this story alone.

Fat chance buddy.

According to memo Donald Trump asked FBI Director James Comey to shut down Michael Flynn investigation before firing him.

President Trump asked the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, to shut down the federal investigation into Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, in an Oval Office meeting in February, according to a memo Mr. Comey wrote shortly after the meeting. 

“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo. 

The documentation of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia. Late Tuesday, Representative Jason Chaffetz, the Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee, demanded that the F.B.I. turn over all “memoranda, notes, summaries and recordings” of discussions between Mr. Trump and Mr. Comey. 

Such documents, Mr. Chaffetz wrote, would “raise questions as to whether the president attempted to influence or impede” the F.B.I.

Mr. Comey wrote the memo detailing his conversation with the president immediately after the meeting, which took place the day after Mr. Flynn resigned, according to two people who read the memo. It was part of a paper trail Mr. Comey created documenting what he perceived as the president’s improper efforts to influence a continuing investigation. An F.B.I. agent’s contemporaneous notes are widely held up in court as credible evidence of conversations.

Yesterday we learned that the writing of these memos is widespread among intelligence folks working in Washington, which is something that an experienced politician would likely know.

Of course Donald Trump is not an experienced politician.

No, he is the kind of politician who thinks that it is okay to try and kill an investigation into members of his campaign staff, and then fire the FBI Director for not doing it.

This of course follows closely on the previous scandal of Trump sharing classified information with Russian spies.

Which followed the public outcry over Trump seemingly threatening James Comey about some "tapes."

And that scandal followed the previous scandal of Trump firing Comey in the first place.

And remember this all happened in just the last week!

So now there is REAL legitimate talk of impeachment, by both sides, and it seems that the Trump presidency is damaged beyond all repair.

 In fact this is now so bad that Trump has not even bothered to make it worse by tweeting about it.

That's when you know that the shit has really hit the fan.

Apparently some conservatives have decided that the only way to help Donald Trump is to spread fake documents on twitter. Seems like a reasonable strategy for them.

Memo found on Hillary Clinton's private e-mail server reveals that British Prime Minister Tony Blair committed to George Bush's war in Iraq before his country even voted on it.

"Where's my flight jacket? I was told there would be a flight jacket."

The damning memo, from Secretary of State Colin Powell to President George Bush, was written on March 28, 2002, a week before Bush’s famous summit with Blair at his Crawford ranch in Texas. In it, Powell tells Bush that Blair ‘will be with us’ on military action. Powell assures the President: ‘The UK will follow our lead’. The disclosure is certain to lead for calls for Sir John Chilcot to reopen his inquiry into the Iraq War if, as is believed, he has not seen the Powell memo. 

A second explosive memo from the same cache also reveals how Bush used ‘spies’ in the Labour Party to help him to manipulate British public opinion in favour of the war. 

The documents, obtained by The Mail on Sunday, are part of a batch of secret emails held on the private server of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton which U.S. courts have forced her to reveal. 

Former Tory Shadow Home Secretary David Davis said: ‘The memos prove in explicit terms what many of us have believed all along: Tony Blair effectively agreed to act as a frontman for American foreign policy in advance of any decision by the House of Commons or the British Cabinet. 

‘He was happy to launder George Bush’s policy on Iraq and sub-contract British foreign policy to another country without having the remotest ability to have any real influence over it. And in return for what? 

'For George Bush pretending Blair was a player on the world stage to impress voters in the UK when the Americans didn’t even believe it themselves’. 

Davis was backed by a senior diplomat with close knowledge of Blair-Bush relations who said: ‘This memo shows beyond doubt for the first time Blair was committed to the Iraq War before he even set foot in Crawford. 

'And it shows how the Americans planned to make Blair look an equal partner in the special relationship to bolster his position in the UK.’

Gee I wonder if THIS was the smoking gun that the Republicans hoped to discover by accessing Hillary's private e-mail server?

What's next, the original Killian documents proving that George W. Bush disobeyed orders while in the National Guard and that pressure was exerted to falsify his record?

The great thing about all of this is that the British are actually investigating their role in the lead up to the two wars and seem willing to hold Tony Blair accountable.

That is a hell of a lot better than we have been able to do over here.

But hey, maybe the fact that this was found in Hillary's private server means she has even more evidence which will force an actual investigation by the next administration?

Oh, now I am getting even more excited about a Hillary Clinton presidency.
