Here are a handful of texts to take our mind off of Donald Trump for awhile.

So I was going through my file of texts that I received a couple of years ago and I stumbled across  a few that I thought were kind of interesting.

The first is Gino talking about Bristol's plastic surgery.

Of course DWTS refers to Dancing with the Stars.

I would imagine that it refers to Bristol's second visit in 2012, since that coincides more closely to her relationship with Gino, though of course there were rumors that she was not exactly staying faithful to any one man back then.

And then of course it was not much later that she threw Gino aside for Joey Junker.

(You know Levi Johnston also mentioned Bristol receiving plastic surgery back around the time that Trig was born. Things that make you go "Hmmm.")

Speaking of Joey Junker it appears that Gino thought that he was a possible contender for baby daddy when Bristol first revealed that she was pregnant.

Of course as we know eventually Dakota was snagged as the lucky sperm donor. Even though as the text says she hit the sheets with Junker almost the minute that she arrived back in Wasilla.

You know, so I hear.

Well now those days are all behind her, and she finally has corralled the man or her mother's her dreams.  And don't they look happy?

The question of course is for how long?

I guess only time will tell. But I'm rooting for them.

After all when you read through Dakota's Facebook page it becomes pretty clear that they deserve each other.

Sarah Palin celebrates the fact that her oldest daughter is now hawking t-shirts to make a buck, while behind the scenes she pulls strings to keep her son from facing justice.

Courtesy of the Mat-Su Manipulator's Facebook page:

I absolutely love this!!! Bristol Palin teamed up with Lifehouse Maternity Home in Louisville, KY to create these awesome shirts. Please support this great cause, get your shirt today; boldly show how you really feel about life, God & our 2nd Amendment!

I love seeing all my kids still smiling and thriving, despite all the false and negative crap still thrown their way by the media. From all that negativity comes good like this - their productive efforts for great causes just like this. Nothing makes me prouder!

Ah yes, one day you're teaching your little one how to get rich without lifting a finger, and the next day they are out selling t-shirts like a hippie cult member on a street corner.

And what a message these shirts send.

I mean it's not often that you see the Ammosexual, Bible thumper, and anti-abortion slogans plastered together in one seemingly incongruous message across a person's chest like this.

How incredibly disturbing.

But hey, I guess it makes a certain tragically under educated Methamphetamine fueled kind of sense. I guess.

In other Palin news it appears that Track Palin has once again allowed his mommy to rescue his warrior bodied ass.

The earlier Court View entry read like this:

Notice that bottom portion where Track was remanded to custody?

Well now that is gone and the entries are as follows:

07/11/2016
Charge Dismissed by Prosecutor
Charge Dismissed by Prosecutor Charge(s) 1, 2 disposed with a disposition of
Charge Dismissed by Prosecutor Charge #1: Originating - AS11.41.230(a)(1): Assault In The 4th Degree - Recklessly Injure

07/11/2016 Notice of: Notice of: Plea Agreement (Veterans's Court)

07/11/2016 Motion for Initial Opt-In and Order Wellness Court Motion for Initial Opt-In and Order Anchorage Veterans's Court
Attorney: Fitzgerald, Kevin T (8711085)
Filing Party: Palin, Track
Case Motion #3

07/11/2016 Order Granting Motion Order Granting Motion
Case Motion #3: Motion for Initial Opt-In and Order Anchorage Veterans's Court

That's right the remanded portion is missing like it never even happened.

When calls were made to the courthouse to ask what the hell happened with the remanded part this was the response:

"Accidental entry."

Radar Online has more:

Track’s attorney, Kevin T. Fitzgerald, told Radar, “We got a very favorable resolution.”

The dismissal of the domestic violence charge is “not an insignificant dismissal,” he said, praising the veterans court option.

The possession of a weapon while intoxicated charge “really more accurately tracks what went down,” he said.

Yeah, THAT more "accurately tracks what went down."

Except no it does not.

That text by the way was also backed up by the initial report as ADN reminds us of in its reporting on this story:

Wasilla police arrested Palin, 27, on the night of Jan. 18 at the Palins' home on Lake Lucille. A woman at the residence said he had punched and kicked her during a dispute over her contact with an ex-boyfriend, then threw her phone and threatened to commit suicide with a rifle.

Police said Palin, who also suffered facial injuries that evening, told officers the woman struck him with an elbow. He later provided a breath sample with an alcohol content of .189.

However now that those domestic assault charges have been subjected to "Wite-Out" this as the only justice that Track Palin will have to face:

Track Palin will have to complete a regime of "alcohol-related" treatment under the terms of this week's agreement, Fitzgerald said. Upon successful completion of the treatment course, the weapons-misconduct charge will be expunged from his record — but if that doesn't happen, Palin will receive a 180-day suspended jail sentence and be placed under informal probation for two years.

Anchorage District Attorney Clint Campion, a military veteran who oversees the Veterans Court, said Friday the outcome of Palin's plea agreement is consistent with similar cases the court has handled.

"Mr. Palin is getting no special treatment from the state, and I'm not treating his case any different than I would anyone under the same charges or circumstances," Campion said.

Bullshit!

You know somebody asked me just today if Sarah Palin actually still had the power to make all of this go away.

Well I guess we have our answer, don't we?

Bristol Palin's ex on her mothering skills: "She's the worst mom EVER! I'd be f**ckin' devastated if I had a kid with her."

Okay so that clip was from 2012, and in response Levi Johnston decided that he had finally had all he could take and wanted to try one more time to get his son back into his life.

So as you all know his initial attempts hit a brick wall called Bristol Palin, who at that time had all of the power, all of the money, and no reason whatsoever to give him his rights as a father.

Ultimately that led Levi to my door, and what happened next I detailed in this post.

Now let me point out that even at that time Levi was adamant about taking the high road and not attacking Bristol. And in fact he never once said that she was a bad mother.

However as we talked about all that had happened up until that point it was pretty clear that she was certainly not going to be nominated for mother of the year.

Nor was it likely that she was going to give up control without a serious, costly battle.

Courtesy of a Johnston family confidant.
Yep, a costly battle indeed.

So after two years of the back and forth filings which were designed to drain Levi's financial resources (Sorry Bristol I screwed that up for you didn't I?), finally both parties came to an agreement and everything appeared to be settled.

Note that I said, "appeared to be settled."

It was around then that some misleading stories were leaked to the press saying that Levi owed over $80,000 in child support.

So Levi tried to set the record straight. Twice.

Now notice that there was still no attack on Bristol in those posts and articles.

However they resulted in this:

Life & Style Weekly has exclusively learned that Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin’s son Tripp, 7, has been actively trying to have a fling with her.

“He’s been texting Bristol, asking her to hook up again. He actually wrote, ‘Come cuddle me,’ and ‘Come lay that sexy a-- down right up tight next to me and watch a movie with me,” a source reveals.

For the record what's written is not exactly accurate. But it did hurt.

Ultimately Levi and Sunny's relationship grew stronger, and today they are doing very well.  Very well indeed.

So surely, I thought, now Levi would want to release me from my promise and let me do my thing.

But nope. Still wanted to be the good guy.

Pissing me off here buddy.

So I made a deal, once I revealed our friendship I would not post anything directed at Bristol specifically, and focus instead on the bigger story about his time with the Palin family and what he saw, IF Bristol did not go after either me, him, or Sunny directly.

I can't say that either he nor Sunny agreed to that, but then again it was not up for discussion.

After some initial rumblings I even let Bristol know of my intentions.

As you now know that was not how things were going to work out.

Which brings us to this post today.

Like I said earlier I received a lot of interesting information from the Johnstons, their friends, and their family members over the last two years.

Much of it Sunny and Levi did not want to ever see on the internet.

However this is my blog, and ultimately my decision.

Bristol Palin's soft porn pal disses ex-fiance MOH winner on Facebook.

Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

The war of words between Bristol Palin and her jilted Medal of Honor-winning ex got suddenly more heated on Wednesday when her best friend appeared to slam the military hero as a 'coward.'

Marina Lupas quoted reggae legend Bob Marley with a large message on her Facebook page clearly aimed at former Marine Dakota Meyer. 'The biggest coward is a man who awakens a woman's love with no intention of loving her,' she posted.

I know that a lot of people have suggested that this whole engagement thing was a total put on from the start, and that Bristol was never really into Dakota Meyer.

I ABSOLUTELY think that Sarah set the whole thing up, and most likely coaxed Bristol into giving Dakota a tumble, but also I think that Bristol really thought she was in love.

I have heard from a number of sources that Bristol falls into what she perceives as love quite readily, but that it is fairly temporary. And once Bristol is over you, she is by God over you.

We actually all saw that for ourselves during an episode of "Life's a Tripp" where Bristol suddenly  flips out on boyfriend Gino Paoletti, and dumps his ass off at the side of the road.

So yes I think that Bristol thought she and Dakota were going to be in love forever, because that's what she does. However if anything is going to convince Bristol to throw you to the curb it is the revelation that you have been married before and never bothered to tell her.

Which I think we all know is exactly what happened here.

You know the other day some troll in the commenting section suggested that all of this drama is boring and that we should only cover Sarah Palin's political Facebook postings and Fox News appearances.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that.

To be honest I have been extremely bored with a lot of the repurposed word salad that has fallen out of Palin's maw lately, and the ghostwritten Facebook posts are becoming so cookie cutter that I could easily cut and paste old posts of my own to cover them.

However scandalous episodes like the drunken brawl, that crazy ass speech in Iowa, and now this broken engagement, undermine the carefully crafted mythology that Palin has worked so hard to create.

No her family is NOT all about Christian values. No she is NOT good at giving speeches without a teleprompter and careful preparation. And no her daughter is NOT a born again virgin who is waiting for the right man to put a ring on her finger before giving him an all day pass to her personal theme park. (She essentially lived with Dakota for almost two months, and you can really only shoot guns together for so long.)

No these salacious stories are essentially now the most important ones concerning the Palins because they prove to those who at one time were ignorant enough to support Sarah Palin that they were duped, and that the Palin critics were right all along.

And it also hopefully helps them to develop a healthy skepticism toward the next Christian family phony who comes along and starts using religion, and conservative political speak, to convince them that they are the answer to their prayers.

Right now the newest gossip, and this is actually catching fire even among those who know Bristol, is that the relationship she has with Marina is now developing into something a little more....complicated.

(Can you say "road trip?")

And hey, at this point, would it really surprise you?

Stay tuned folks.

Wonkette has all kinds of fun with the fact that Bristol Palin is shacking up with the MOH recipient that her mommy picked out for her.

Here are a few outraged snippets courtesy of Wonkette:

Well, shooty Murkin hero Meyer posted to his Instagramz that he and Palin are shacked up in Kentucky, even though they have not even had their sacred union blessed by any manner of Sky Daddy, not even the Sky Daddy that doesn’t hate gays, just kidding there’s no Sky Daddy that doesn’t hate gays!

This is not the first time Bristol Palin, Ambassador for Abstinence to America’s Youth, has played house with a man who weren’t her husband.

Like, there was this time, when she lived with the awful Gino (AWFUL) but Luntzed It Up and renamed it “trial marriage.”

FYI, in 2010 — the year after Bristol made $260,000-plus to promote not-fucking — she sued No. One babydaddy Levi Johnston for $1750 per month in child support, and then seven months later got engaged to him for a second time, and then broke up with him again three weeks later, just as she was set to earn up to $350,000 for Dancing With The Stars. And then last year she sued him for child support again, claiming a zero income for 2013 and 2014 (Okay this is a mistake because those papers that Wonkette is referring to, only included Levi's income as he was the non-custodial parent.), even though in June 2013 she told ABC she worked at a dermatologist’s office, look, she said it RIGHT HERE. That was before going on to call her sister Willow — who had MOVED IN WITH HER (AGAIN) TO HELP WITH HER (BRISTOL’S) SON — “not much of a help.” Which is exactly the same thing Bristol said in the second link in this very post, because Willow did not finish roasting the chicken for Bristol’s date with Gino after Bristol told her THREE TIMES to leave and then bitched that she left.

Gotta love Wonkette's take on all of this. And of course they are not at all wrong about the hypocrisy of an abstinence only spokesperson having shacked up with several different men, NONE of who it seems were not given open and easy access. (And for Wonkette's information there WAS a very brief time before their announced engagement when Bristol and Levi "shacked up.")

They also manage to encapsulate Bristol's volatile nature, and her scatter brained approach to stumbling through her life like a sailor on leave looking to catch a venereal disease.

The very things. by the way, that would seem to doom any quicky marriage. Even if it were NOT to a self described PTSD sufferer who had attempted to blow his own brains out with one the many, many guns that he keeps close at hand.

Bristol Palin's ghostwriter attempts to damn abortion using outdated attacks on founder of Planned Parenthood, while Bristol provides more ammunition for Levi Johnston's upcoming custody case.

Courtesy of Brancy's blog:

Do you guys watch Patricia Heaton’s great show The Middle?

Well, she’s one of the only Hollywood stars who has the guts to speak out against abortion.

Last week, Heaton shared a National Review article about how more black babies are aborted than born in New York City. Alec Torres writes:

In 2012, black women in New York City aborted over 6,500 more children than they gave birth to. Data from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene shows that, among non-hispanic black women, there were 31,328 “induced terminations” to 24,758 live births, according to a CNS News report.

Heaton tweeted this article, by adding: “Margaret Sanger gets her wish.” Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood and actually believed in ethnic cleansing.

I’m so proud of Patricia for having the courage to speak out against the evils of abortion!

Ah yes, the old Margaret Sanger was a racist, therefore Planned Parenthood hates black people approach. I thought after Herman Cain got shamed for using this that the conservatives might leave it alone.

Here is the quote, in context, that allows conservatives to use this line of attack:

Sanger, who was arrested several times in her efforts to bring birth control to women in the United States, set up her first clinic in Brooklyn in 1916. In the late 1930s, she sought to bring clinics to black women in the South, in an effort that was called the "Negro Project." Sanger wrote in 1939 letters to colleague Clarence James Gamble that she believed the project needed a black physician and black minister to gain the trust of the community.

Sanger says that a minister could debunk the notion, if it arose, that the clinics aimed to "exterminate the Negro population." She didn't say that she wanted to "exterminate" the black population. The Margaret Sanger Papers Project at New York University says that this quote has "gone viral on the Internet," normally out of context, and it "doesn't reflect the fact that Sanger recognized elements within the black community might mistakenly associate the Negro Project with racist sterilization campaigns in the Jim Crow south, unless clergy and other community leaders spread the word that the Project had a humanitarian aim."

In other words, while Sanger was trying to deliver control of the female reproduction system to women, regardless of ethnicity or social standing, she was cognizant of the fact that she as a white woman could be seen as encouraging genocide among the black community.

Funny how seeing things in context pretty much changes everything about what the Right wants you to believe about them, don't you think?

Here's what else I find interesting about the conservative's love for this attempt to smear Planned Parenthood.

On the one hand they want to vilify Planned Parenthood for killing black babies, but then on the other hand they want to condemn black mothers for having so many babies in order to defraud Federal welfare programs out of millions of dollars, the so-called "Welfare Queen" scenario that Ronald Reagan made popular.

You would think that you could not argue one side while also arguing the other, but of course that's because you are not a Right Wing lunatic.

Speaking of lunatics, everybody's favorite terrible mother has been helping Levi with his court case, first by posting this video of Tripp laughing hysterically at the use of some mildly inappropriate language.

And then with this montage that Joey Junker put up of Tripp and Bristol playing house with the latest trial daddy.

The caption said "Miss my little fam just a few more weeks."
Now these on their own would not be a big deal, but placed alongside footage of Tripp using inappropriate language on the reality show, and Bristol kicking Gino Paoletti out of her car while assuring Tripp she would get him a new daddy, it certainly doesn't help.

I mean yes of course it DOES help, but it's certainly not her that it helps.

P.S. By the way Patricia Heaton is the reason I can't watch reruns of "Everybody Loves Raymond" anymore.

Bristol Palin reality show received $354,348 in state subsidy. Grannie Grifter taught her well! Update!

Courtesy of Fairbanks Newsminer:

The California company that made Bristol Palin's TV show about raising her child has collected a $354,348 subsidy from the state.

Unlike nearly all of the other shows and films subsidized so far under the movie incentive program, the salaries paid to Alaska residents on the Palin show account for a majority of the total "Alaska expenses" for the TV show.

Palin and the five other Alaska residents who participated as "talent" on the show collected close to a half-million in wages.

Five other Alaska residents?

Would that include Willow Palin perhaps?

Her boyfriend Andy?

Bristol's long suffering boyfriend Gino Paoltetti?

We absolutley KNOW that Sarah got her cut, so whose left?

Tripp? Todd? My money's on Todd, because I would imagine that Bristol sold herself and Tripp as a package deal. (You know just in case Levi tried to lay claim to anything Tripp might have received as payment.)

So out of half a million dollars in reality show wages virtually ALL of it goes to the Palin family.

Boy it sure was handy that Granny Grifter signed that Film Tax Incentive bill into law before she quit her job, now isn't it?

By the way this is small potatoes. As you may, or may not, remember "Sarah Palin's Alaska" walked away with a cool 1.2 million in tax credits.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the Mat Maid investigation breadcrumbs lead right to the Palin's doorstep.

Update: Television news station KTVA has more here:

The document from the Alaska Film Office says the Helping Hands LLC paid $475,598 to "above the line" people from Alaska. "Above the line" is the term used to denote the stars, director, producer and other key figures in a production.

The salaries paid to people who worked on the physical production—running cameras and lights, etc.— totaled $32,400 for Alaska residents, according to the form. There were no Alaskans hired as crew for the show.

The subsidy paperwork says that six Alaskans were part of the "talent" for the show, Bristol Palin et al., and worked an average of 14 weeks.

"There were NO Alaskans hired as crew for the show." THAT pretty much tells you all you need to know about Palin's loyalty to Alaska.

Bristol Palin blames God for putting her back on Dancing with the Stars.

Picture courtesy of the Chicago Tribune
Courtesy of Brancy's blog:

Many of you saw Episode 12 of Life’s a Tripp when Gino and I had our big blowout. (Here is the entire episode for those who missed it.)Well, it was very painful for everyone involved. (Especially Tripp!) After that fight, Tripp and Willow both dozed off, so it gave me – finally – some quiet time to think. I prayed about my life.

I asked for some sort of direction as to what to do, which direction to go… (You called your mom.)

After all, it’s complicated. Should I focus on work? A relationship? Even after that terrible fight, I wasn’t sure about where Gino and I stood. (Well HE stood on the side of the road.)

In other words, I prayed and asked for guidance. (Called mom again.)

After Lifetime wrapped up filming for the day, they took the microphones off Willow and me. It wasn’t ten minutes later that my cell phone rang. (Mom came through!)

It was the casting director of Dancing with the Stars. (See?)

I was ecstatic. It was like God placed this opportunity right at my feet. I called my mom right after our conversation and told her the offer I had gotten.(Yeah, let's act like she didn't know.) I was totally brought to tears just thinking about the last few years of my life, and how abundantly blessed I am to have such amazing opportunities. I’m thankful for my book, for this blog, for my Lifetime show, and now this. And, I’m thankful for you guys. (Suckers!)

What I’m learning: God’s plan is much greater than our own.

Yes, "God's" plan was to allow you to trick Levi into impregnating you, for your mother to fake a pregnancy to cover for you, for her to then lose her bid for the Vice Presidency, and then for the entire Palin family to show up on television until Americans become so sick of them that the very sight of a Palin will cause them to vomit uncontrollably.

You know if Bristol could convince most Christians that were true she could almost single-handedly destroy religion in America. So hey, good luck with that.

Sarah Palin says her family does reality shows because they live "vibrantly." Whatever the hell that is!

I thought I was done talking about Palin's trip to Hollywood after yesterday, but late in the day this interview popped up and it was just too ridiculous to let stand without some comment.

Courtesy of Vulture:

Former governor Palin seemed far more comfortable around dozens of entertainment reporters than around the average political correspondent: She held court for upwards of two hours, outlasting some of the veteran actors who'd also attended. She also looked the part of Hollywood celeb: skin-tight dress, very high heels, wrap-around sunglasses, and a deep tan. NBC public relations execs warned reporters that Palin was only there to answer questions about Stars Earn Stripes, but even with that ground rule, Vulture decided to try to snag a few minutes with the governor. We were only able to chat for three minutes before her handlers pulled her away, but during even that limited time frame, Palin managed to say the words "honor," "success," and "American exceptionalism." Always on message!

So the Palin family has now taken part in at least four reality shows since 2008. Are reality shows the new means of communications in politics, the new way to stay close to your base? I mean, Todd's not doing it for the money with Stars Earn Stripes …

"I'm certainly not doing it for the money, no!" (It should be noted that of the four shows THIS one is the ONLY one that it appears was not done for the money.)

So why do you all say "yes" to these shows?

"Our family's mantra is to live life vibrantly. And participating in a show like this, especially for Todd, is exactly that. It is living life vibrantly. Having the offer come from Mark Burnett, who is the best of the best, and having worked with him successfully on Sarah Palin's Alaska, [we] had a great connection with Mark to start with. That's what opened the door for us to even consider the idea of doing a show like this. But first and foremost, knowing the cause, honoring our troops and first responders … it was a no-brainer. And we had promised that we would do all that we could, through the different doors that have been opened, to honor our home state of Alaska and the resources that we have up there, that can be shared with the rest of the nation, and to honor our troops." (So far this idiot and her family have "honored" Alaska by having three terrible books ghostwritten for them, participating in four reality shows, consistently attacking and lying about our President on Fox News, and helping to start the Tea Party? Gee could they STOP "honoring us" please?)

Do you watch any reality shows? Are there any you'd want to be on, like Survivor?

"I don't have time to watch much television. When I hear you guys batting around all these names of shows, I don't know what … I like Deadliest Catch. We're commercial fishermen, but we're not that hard-core in Bristol Bay. But we like Deadliest Catch. Competition is so good, and a lot of these reality shows have a lot to do with competition. And that, of course, breeds success in all areas of life." (Of course the only one she mentions would be a show filmed in Alaska about fishing. So transparent.)

The campaign had to be tougher than a reality show.

"Politics are brutal. Politics are brutal. But when you believe in a cause, and I believe in American exceptionalism, I'll do whatever I can to fight for that, too."

Okay so the reason the Palin family embarrasses themselves on camera is because they are living their lives  "vibrantly?"

Yeah, I mean you can almost feel Todd living vibrantly (Vibrant: Pulsing or throbbing with energy or activity.) in this promotional photo.

Gee I wonder if this scene where Bristol argues with sad sack Levi replacement Gino,  after she kicked him out of her car during their trip to the Grand Canyon for daring to ask if Nancy French wrote her blog posts for her, is an example of "living life vibrantly?"

Unless living life "vibrantly" is another word for "living life like attention whores" than I don't think Palin really understands WHY she and her family keep whoring themselves out.

But personally I am beginning to think that it is some pathological desire to get attention through whatever means necessary even if it destroys their family, their health, and what's left of their sanity.

Bristol Palin attempts to put rumors of a break up to rest by posting picture of the recently MIA Gino Paoletti. Update!

So yesterday this picture cropped up on Brancy's blog.

I actually DON'T know for certain if Bristol has officially broken up with Gino or not, but I did think it rather odd that there was virtually no mention of him in the description of her unreality show.

Sarah, Tripp, and Willow are all mentioned, but the man who she at one time was rumored to be wanting to start a family with, is nowhere to be found.

Which if he were by the way would make statements like,“It’s not fair to him (Tripp)that he has no one here except for me,” sound kind of ridiculous.

Ostensibly the post this picture was attached to is about asking for ideas to help the "still happy couple" name their Newfoundland puppy, however it seems so pointless that even Bristol's "supporters" can barely be bothered to waste their time coming up with ideas, and of this posting there are only 36 comments.

One of the comments goes as follows: "Name it Bill Maher"

I am assuming that is so Bristol can abuse the animal and not feel badly about it.

Another comment, from somebody named "Joe," said the following: Looks like a “Jesse” to me…

WTF?

Now I am not sure if this is a Palin-bot who likes the idea of Bristol rubbing her dog's nose in his poop to housebreak him while saying "Bad Jesse, bad," or if this is an IM reader who is secretly giggling to themselves for successfully inserting my name into the comments of Brancy's carefully moderated blog.  Either way I have say I am not sure I would really like the idea of some poor dog running around that nutty household saddled with my moniker.  Somehow I just KNOW he would not fair well in that environment.

While we are on the unfortunate subject of Bristol and the people she hates, I should note that her campaign to turn her son against his father continues apace as evidenced by a post on June 4th, titled "Praying, Tripp Palin style."

As we all know this poor kid's name is still Tripp Johnston, and having his mother constantly referring to him by the wrong name must be terribly confusing, and eventually quite scarring.

I remember when I was a kid that when my mom remarried there was some talk of changing the last names of my brother, my sister, and I to our new stepfather's last name. That idea was rejected with a very angry, and venomous response from all three of us.

My mother meant no harm, she thought she was doing something to make us all feel like we belonged in the same family, but she did not understand the importance to children to have a sense of identity and feel some connection to their father. Even to a father who they see but rarely.

By this time in his life Tripp knows who he is, and Bristol's attempts to change that are only going to push him away from her at some point and drive him to want to more firmly connect with his father. For that reason I would encourage Bristol to continue, except that I know in the interim it will only do Tripp grave emotional harm.

If Bristol could let go of her anger toward Levi and his family, and allow Tripp to  spend some REAL time with them, she would actually end up with a much healthier, and well rounded young man for a son. Trying to keep him in a box, and using him to earn more money and fame for her, will only end up biting her in the ass, and turning him into an angry and resentful teenager.

An outcome that you would think SHE would be able to predict better than most.

Update: Not to be too conspiratorial, but Bristol has a new post up about the puppy, and either the damn thing is eating Purina Steroid Chow, or the picture was taken some what AFTER the first picture.

Am I wrong?

The National Enquirer story on Bristol Palin's latest attempt to FINALLY get a reality show is now online.

My new favorite Bristol picture.
Courtesy of NE:

The ENQUIRER learned that Bristol – whose 3-year-old son Tripp was fathered by former boyfriend Levi Johnston – bought the 3-bedroom, 4-bath home last July. It’s just across Lake Lucile from her parents house in Wasilla, Alaska.

Pipeline worker Gino, 21, and the former “Dancing with the Stars” finalist have made the renovations a joint task, and when it’s finished this summer, they’ll live under the same roof, say sources.

Meanwhile, their home renovation adventure will be featured on the upcoming Lifetime reality show “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.”
"Say it after me Tripp, Levi who? Good boy!"

“Bristol and Gino are crazy about each other,” revealed an insider. “They’ve talked about getting married, but they think it’s a good idea to get a feel for living together before making it official.

“Bristol thinks one reason her relationship with Levi went south was because they really never had a place of their own where they could grow together as a couple.”

I hate to break this to Bristol, but the reason that her relationship with Levi "went south" has nothing to do with them not having a "place of their own."  It just might have sometime to do with constantly checking to see who called him, tricking him into impregnating her, and insisting that he not speak to his family however.  I'm just saying.

I don't usually like to give credit to the Palins but I have to admit that having a reality show help pay for the renovations on their new home is a fairly smart, you know in a sneaky underhanded kind of way.

Damn those Palins are BORN to grift aren't they?

You know I could use a new kitchen.  Maybe I can convince a network to film the pajama clad blogger smashes his typing fingers with a hammer while installing new cabinets....upside down.

You all would watch that, right?

By the way I would just like to address the Palin-bots who came over here when this story first broke to claim that OBVIOUSLY Sadie must have  leaked this to the Enquirer, just to profit off of the Palins again.

Does this, “Bristol and Gino are crazy about each other,” SOUND like something Sadie would say? Oh hell no!

Besides she did not even know about this until I told her.

This story was clearly leaked by the Palins. And they did it just to piss Levi off.

And do you know what? I think it did.

Stay tuned.

The hosts of the View ridicule the idea for Bristol Palin's new reality show.

I love the part where Joy says that Gino "makes Levi Johnston look like Stephen Hawking."

You know you are a huge fuck up when even  conservative hack Elizabeth Hasselback can't defend you.

By the way below is video of the Oprah interview that Sherri Shepherd alluded to while discussing that Bristol is opening herself up to a whole lot of judgmental scrutiny based on her assertion that she will NEVER have sex again until she was married. (I don't think the Palin family has a firm grasp of the definition for "never.")

Can you say "Stockholm Syndrome?"

By the way I think this video clip tells VOLUMES about the relationship between Bristol and her mother.

Everything about Bristol's body language screams "Help I'm a prisoner!" and it should come as no surprise that seven months later she tried to make a run for it with Levi.

I have to wonder if this newest reality show idea is yet another attempt to get out from under her mother's thumb, or if her mother is orchestrating it as well? It is becoming increasingly difficult to tell where Sarah ends, and Bristol begins.

Failing to sell a reality show any other way, Bristol Palin decides to bring sex into the mix. Probably should have seen this coming.

Watch for Bristol Palin's new reality show, "Two losers and a baby."
Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

Bristol Palin appears to be going rogue from her celibacy vows after the single mom is apparently planning to shack up with her boyfriend.

The 21-year-old daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is reportedly about to enter a 'trial marriage' with boyfriend Gino Paoletti for the TV cameras as she prepares her Lifetime reality show.

The National Enquirer reported that Paoletti, a 21-year-old pipeline worker from Bristol’s hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, will move into the $272,000 home she bought in secret last year.

While the couple has been dating for more than a year, it is yet to be seen what the move will mean for the relationship, and Bristol's staunch views against pre-marital sex.

"Staunch views against pre-marital sex." Okay THAT made me laugh out loud a little. Bristol has NEVER allowed her time touring with the "Virginity Monologues" to keep her from getting her freak on. Trust me.

So let me get this straight.

Bristol Palin is FINALLY going to stop pretending she is a born again virgin and invite cameras in to the home she paid for by lying about abstinence, to record her shacking up with the Gino? The same Gino she has been shacking up with all along?

OH yeah that sounds like riveting television!

I can only imagine that if this does not finally sell as a reality show, that she will have no choice but to simply drop all pretense and head directly into the porn industry.

"Boom Chicka Wow Wow! Introducing Bristol the Pistol, coming to you from a poisoned lake in Wasilla, where dead fish are everywhere, and now you can watch somebody have sex with one of them!"

Bristol Palin participates in the "Running of the Reindeer" in Anchorage.

In case you got confused Bristol is the one in the white jacket.

The reindeer are wearing fur.

And so is that big dumbass Bob Lester who was the guy with the microphone.

The guy standing next to Bristol is apparently her still current boy toy Gino Paoletti.

So many jokes here, but I am going to be nice today.
