The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate said she sees "hypocritical double standards" when it comes to the left's push for more gun control measures.
She said all Americans have the constitutional right to protect themselves and their families in the same way celebrities and politicians are protected.
"We have every right, we have a God-given right that’s codified in our Bill of Rights to protect ourselves and to protect our property and our families. It’s not just a select few that government will choose who gets to be protected. The movie stars, the politicians in D.C., those in a courthouse, no. The Bill of Rights does apply to every single citizen of the U.S.," she said.
Responding to President Trump's renewed calls for border security, including using U.S. troops, Palin said it's "obvious" why Democrats are opposed.
"I think that they just fear that Americans aren’t gonna vote Democrat, so by golly they’ll import people who will," she said.
Palin said those in favor of "globalization" want cheap labor and Americans are getting "sick of it."
"It comes back to either supporting the rule of law, our legal immigration system, or supporting and incentivizing illegal immigration with no expectation of assimilating any of the people into our culture or anything else. It’s really whack. People are really sick of it," she said.
It's really whack?
Do you know what else is "really whack?" The fact that Sarah Palin does not understand that you cannot "import" people who will vote the Democratic ticket because they are not yet US citizens.
Unless of course Palin buys into that conspiracy theory that claims the 3 million votes that Hillary Clinton beat Trump by in the popular vote were cast by illegal aliens.
But that's just crazy, right?
Of course the idea that ANYONE would seek an opinion about ANYTHING from this whack-a-doodle has been is equally crazy.
Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

In the wake of the government shutdown Trump campaign releases ad which accuses Democrats of being complicit with murderers. Because you know, that's helpful.
Courtesy of TPM:
The Trump campaign on Saturday released a new campaign ad calling congressional Democrats “complicit” in all murders committed by undocumented immigrants. The spot seems unlikely to ease tensions on Capitol Hill as the Senate tries to negotiate a compromise on the fate of the 700,000 immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally as children in order to reopen the shuttered federal government.
“Democrats who stand in our way will be complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants,” a narrator says, as images of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) appear on the screen.
The 30-second ad blames Democrats for endorsing these acts of “pure evil” by refusing to allow President Donald Trump to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
WTF? No, seriously WTF?
How is there any hope of negotiating a deal to keep the government working when you accuse one side of supporting murder?
By the way in 2017 there were 15,582 gun related deaths in this country.
Many of which may have been prevented with stronger background checks, and stricter gun laws.
Does this mean the party of the NRA, you know the Republicans, are complicit in all of those murders, suicides, and accidental shootings?
Because you know if we're going to start pointing fingers.

Federal Judge smacks down Trump's attempt to repeal DACA.
In the middle of the intense political fight about the DACA program for dreamers, a federal judge in California just issued a nationwide injunction ordering the administration to start the program back up again, saying the decision to kill it was improper. pic.twitter.com/Op9zneahWy— Michael D. Shear (@shearm) January 10, 2018
This is big as Trump has been using DACA as a negotiating tool to manipulate the Dems into supporting that stupid border wall of his.WOW: Federal judge orders the Trump administration roll back its rescission of #DACA. Basically, to put it back on the books!— Cristian Farías 🍮 (@cristianafarias) January 10, 2018
“The agency action was not in accordance with law because it was based on the flawed legal premise that the agency lacked authority to implement DACA.” https://t.co/W3e5PrS9ls
This news of course pissed Trump off big time.
Actually I am not convinced that even with Trump's newly placed Supreme Court judge that they will support Trump's repeal of this law.It just shows everyone how broken and unfair our Court System is when the opposing side in a case (such as DACA) always runs to the 9th Circuit and almost always wins before being reversed by higher courts.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 10, 2018
And even if they do that is still many months down the road, and the 2018 elections are coming soon.

Right Wing flips out as illegal immigrant accused of killing the young woman who inspired "Kate's Law" is found innocent of both murder and manslaughter.
Courtesy of CNN:
A jury on Thursday found an undocumented immigrant not guilty in the July 2015 death of Kate Steinle, a decision that reignited the debate over immigration policy.
Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, 45, was acquitted of murder and involuntary manslaughter charges, as well as assault with a deadly weapon. Jurors convicted the Mexican citizen of being a felon in possession of a firearm, which could bring a three-year sentence.
Prosecutors had argued Garcia Zarate intentionally shot Steinle, 32, with a Sig Sauer .40-caliber handgun as she and her father walked on San Francisco's Pier 14. But Garcia Zarate's defense attorney said the shooting was accidental and the bullet ricocheted off the ground and traveled about 80 feet before hitting Steinle.
Federal immigration officials said they will try to deport Garcia Zarate. He had been deported from the United States five times prior to Steinle's death.
This woman's death became a rallying cry for conservatives, and a tool for Donald Trump to make his argument that we needed to build a "big, beautiful border wall."
She also was the inspiration for Kate's Law, which suggests harsher penalties for illegal immigrants who have repeatedly broken the law.
Of course as soon as Trump heard about this he was all over Twitter.
Trump was certainly not the only one to take to Twitter over this.
Even the Wasilla Wendigo contributed her two cents.
That is how justice works in this country.
It is indeed a tragedy that this young woman lost her life, but it is also just another among the thousands of deaths each year caused by gun violence.
The only reason the conservatives give two shits about this incident is that it involved an undocumented immigrant.
Period.

A disgraceful verdict in the Kate Steinle case! No wonder the people of our Country are so angry with Illegal Immigration.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 1, 2017
The Kate Steinle killer came back and back over the weakly protected Obama border, always committing crimes and being violent, and yet this info was not used in court. His exoneration is a complete travesty of justice. BUILD THE WALL!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 1, 2017
I'm not sure what Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have to do with this, but as usual Trump needs to attack someone. The jury was not told the killer of Kate was a 7 time felon. The Schumer/Pelosi Democrats are so weak on Crime that they will pay a big price in the 2018 and 2020 Elections.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 1, 2017

Oh yeah, if only there had been a wall. Simple minded moron.Jury convinced that illegal alien killed Kate Steinle accidentally. She would still be alive if we had a wall.— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) December 1, 2017
Even the Wasilla Wendigo contributed her two cents.
Actually they were given the same rights, as both sides were represented and the jury delivered its verdict based on the evidence.Such an insane recent news cycle, and now this?? Outrageous “not guilty” verdict in murder case of Kate Steinle. The illegal alien who shot her was just given more rights, grace and favor than the devastated Steinle family. San Francisco is NOT a safe place. - SP— Sarah Palin (@SarahPalinUSA) December 1, 2017

Conservative media upset that comic book hero Superman does not support white supremacists.
Courtesy of Vox:
The latest issue of Action Comics No. 987 contains a scalding scene: A white supremacist, fed up with a company that just laid him off, decides to load up his machine gun and kill the undocumented workers he believes took his job. Luckily, in the nick of time, Superman arrives to shield the would-be victims from a storm of bullets.
Given the violent events that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia, last month, including a domestic terror attack that killed Heather Heyer, as well as the recent national conversation over the Trump administration’s stance on DACA, it’s easy to see how the plot of Action Comics No. 987 could feel like a knee-jerk reaction and parallel to reality. But in reality, comic book issues and arcs — including this one, which was written by Dan Jurgens and illustrated by artists Viktor Bogdanovic, inkers Jonathan Glapion and Jay Leisten, and colorist Mike Spicer — are planned well in advance.
Still, the action of preventing a mass murder, which seems in line with Superman’s moral compass, hasn’t come without controversy. Fox News has a column calling the Man of Steel a “propaganda tool for the defenders of illegal aliens,” and the right-wing website Breitbart derided him as “Social Justice Supes.”
Their argument is that comic book writers and artists have inserted a pro–illegal immigrant agenda into their comics, and that it’s part of a larger trend of politicizing comic books.
If these folks would go back and read their old Superman comics they would realize that the man from Krypton has always protected the downtrodden, and even though a number of white supremacist groups have identified the Man of Steel as the very image of the white superior race, the fact is that since he landed on earth from a completely different planet, and never legally became an American citizen, he is in fact the ultimate illegal alien.
He has also stood up for the social equality since at least the 1950's.
It appears that the White Supremacists need to find themselves a new hero.
This one is a little busy.

Transcripts reveal that during his first phone call to the Mexican President Donald Trump begged him to stop saying that Mexico would not pay for his wall.
Courtesy of WaPo:
President Trump made building a wall along the southern U.S. border and forcing Mexico to pay for it core pledges of his campaign.
But in his first White House call with Mexico’s president, Trump described his vow to charge Mexico as a growing political problem, pressuring the Mexican leader to stop saying publicly that his government would never pay.
“You cannot say that to the press,” Trump said repeatedly, according to a transcript of the Jan. 27 call obtained by The Washington Post. Trump made clear that he realized the funding would have to come from other sources but threatened to cut off contact if Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto continued to make defiant statements.
The funding “will work out in the formula somehow,” Trump said, adding later that “it will come out in the wash, and that is okay.” But “if you are going to say that Mexico is not going to pay for the wall, then I do not want to meet with you guys anymore because I cannot live with that.”
(Of course ultimately Trump had to live with that because the wall is now supposedly being paid for by the American taxpayers.)
In the actual transcripts President Nieto made a rather salient point that Trump seems to have glossed over:
And let me tell you that a lot of what is happening in terms of traffickers in Mexico is being largely supported by the illegal amounts of money and weapons coming from the United States.
What seems to be lost in Trump's rhetoric is that the border crossings go both ways, and that the money and illegal guns being smuggled into Mexico are at least as big a problem for them, and Mexican drugs are for us.
Trump also made this admission:
Believe it or not, this is the least important thing that we are talking about, but politically this might be the most important talk about.
In other words Trump had painted himself into a corner with his braggadocio and he was begging President Nieto to help him save face.
However believe it or not this was not the most difficult call that Trump would make to a foreign leader:
The Jan. 28 call with Turnbull became particularly acrimonious. “I have had it,” Trump erupted after the two argued about an agreement on refugees. “I have been making these calls all day, and this is the most unpleasant call all day.”
Apparently Trump got his shorts in bunch over the idea of accepting refugees into the country:
“This is going to kill me,” he said to Turnbull. “I am the world’s greatest person that does not want to let people into the country. And now I am agreeing to take 2,000 people.”
(Actually the number was 1,250 that President Obama had agreed to take to help alleviate the suffering of his fellow human beings who had been displaced by war and persecution.)
“I hate taking these people,” Trump said. “I guarantee you they are bad. That is why they are in prison right now. They are not going to be wonderful people who go on to work for the local milk people”
Turnbull tried to salvage the deal, noting that the detainees were economic refugees who had not been accused of crimes. He explained that they were being denied entry into Australia because of a policy aimed at discouraging human smuggling.
“There is nothing more important in business or politics than a deal is a deal,” Turnbull said. “You can certainly say that it was not a deal that you would have done, but you are going to stick with it.”
Trump only became angrier, saying the refugees could “become the Boston bomber in five years.”
“I think it is a horrible deal, a disgusting deal that I would have never made,” Trump said. “As far as I am concerned, that is enough, Malcolm. I have had it.”
With that Trump abruptly ended the call. But not before telling the Australian Prime Minister who he DID enjoy talking with.
Before ending the call, Trump noted that at least one of his conversations that day had gone far more smoothly. “Putin was a pleasant call,” Trump said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin. “This is ridiculous.”
Keep in mind, before anybody calls this fake news, that this is from the White House's own transcripts which were leaked to the Post.
So yes America, THAT is the guy who is now leading this country.

Moronic White House correspondent for Right Wing rag wants those damn Native Americans to stop crossing the border (?) and disrespecting Mt. Rushmore.

Lucian Wintrich, the Milo-in-Training of Jim Hoft, the Stupidest Man on the Internet, found a thing to be outraged about over the weekend: a photo of three of those people flipping off the big stonefaces of Mt. Rushmore.
Of course the problem, which you may have picked up on, is that those are NOT Mexicans, they are Native Americans.
You know, the people who were here first and failed to protect their borders adequately enough to keep all of US out.
But hey, they DO have brown skin.

Remember how I said that Donald Trump was a crazy person? Here watch this and see if you disagree with that statement.
There are no news reports of gangs of illegal immigrants rounding up young girls and chopping them up with knives, just in case you were wondering.
Trump just made this up and the crowds at his rallies respond as if his words were pearls of wisdom from on high, instead of racist bullshit designed to feed into their fears.
This shit is dangerous, and it is getting more dangerous by the day.

Trumpism infiltrates our public schools.
Courtesy of Buzzfeed:
In the first comprehensive review of post-election bullying, BuzzFeed News has confirmed more than 50 incidents, across 26 states, in which a K-12 student invoked Trump’s name or message in an apparent effort to harass a classmate during the past school year.
In the parking lot of a high school in Shakopee, Minnesota, boys in Donald Trump shirts gathered around a black teenage girl and sang a portion of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” replacing the closing line with “and the home of the slaves.” On a playground at an elementary school in Albuquerque, New Mexico, third-graders surrounded a boy and chanted “Trump! Trump! Trump!”
On a school bus in San Antonio, Texas, a white eighth-grader said to a Filipino classmate, “You are going to be deported.” In a classroom in Brea, California, a white eighth-grader told a black classmate, “Now that Trump won, you're going to have to go back to Africa, where you belong.” In the hallway of a high school in San Mateo County, California, a white student told two biracial girls to “go back home to whatever country you're from.” In Louisville, Kentucky, a third-grade boy chased a Latina girl around the classroom shouting “Build the wall!” In a stadium parking lot in Jacksonville, Florida, after a high school football game, white students chanted at black students from the opposing school: “Donald Trump! Donald Trump! Donald Trump!”
The first school year of the Donald Trump presidency left educators struggling to navigate a climate where misogyny, religious intolerance, name-calling, and racial exclusion have become part of mainstream political speech.
These budding political beliefs among some students carry consequences beyond the schoolyard. Today’s high schoolers will be eligible to vote in 2020, and today’s fifth-graders will be eligible to vote in 2024. But even if the wave of Trump-related bullying doesn’t reflect some widespread political awakening among young people, it indicates a more troubling reality: the extent to which racial and religious intolerance has shaped how kids talk, joke, and bully.
I am old enough to remember school yard arguments about the Vietnam War and Watergate, where children often argued their parent's point of view overheard at home with angry words and sometimes angrier fists.
We only had the vaguest understanding of the various arguments, but we were certainly not lacking passion or confidence that we were right.
That was one of the most volatile times that I can remember in this country, and to be honest it essentially pales when compared to what we are seeing today.
For all of his faults Richard M. Nixon was a man concerned with setting a proper example and the dignity of the office.
Donald Trump on the other hand is like an escaped circus orangutan who passed out in the Oval Office and woke up with everybody calling him Mr. President.
He is a classless, racist, misogynist who has no idea how to comport himself as a human being, much less the leader of the free world.
That means that every young, impressionable child who looks for an example of how to deal with responsibility, interact appropriately with others, and demonstrate self control, will look at the leader of his country and find the worst possible role model imaginable.
There is no way that is not going to have a negative impact on the future leaders of tomorrow.

Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny used his time spent at the White House on St. Patrick’s Day to issue a subtle rebuke to President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
Speaking at the White House with Trump standing right next to him, Kenny relayed the long history of Irish immigrants who came to America and thrived there, despite being resented and hated by many.
Okay THAT was a thing of beauty.
Did you see Trump's face as he started this speech?
Let's face it NOBODY respects this range tinted asshole. NOBODY!

Thirteen year old films ICE while they arrest her father as he tries to take her to school.
Courtesy of HuffPo:
Romulo Avelica-Gonzalez was dropping off his daughters at school in Los Angeles on Tuesday when he was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. His 13-year-old daughter, Fatima, sobbed as she recorded her father being handcuffed in front of her and her mother.
Avelica-Gonzalez, 48, who has been living in the United States for over 20 years, had just finished dropping off his 12-year-old daughter in the Highland Park neighborhood when he was detained. His 19-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, who was at work during the incident, told the LAist that a car had been following her father since the moment he left the house.
“My dad dropped off my first sister and then when he turned around, they turned on their light,” Jocelyn said. “My dad was really scared. He didn’t want to pull over, but he did. As soon as he did, one car went in front of his truck and one in back of his truck. They took him out and they arrested him.”
I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying this must have been for this young lady.
Yet this is the harsh reality undocumented immigrants are now forced to face.
This man, who has lived in this country for over twenty years, was doing nothing wrong and ICE used a DUI conviction nearly 10 years old and a two decade-old incident involving an incorrect registration sticker as a reason to arrest him in front of his daughter.
As it turned out Avelica-Gonzalez was granted a temporary stay but that does not mean he will not eventually be deported.
And remember this is now happening all over the country.
Welcome to Donald Trump's America.

One of the policies introduced in Trump's SOTU speech last night comes right out of Adolph Hitler's playbook.
Courtesy of Indy 100:Nazi Germany vs. Trump Administration, compare and contrast pic.twitter.com/s5SAIczj4Y— Christopher Hooton (@ChristophHooton) January 26, 2017
Donald Trump confirmed in his first State of the Union address that he will publish a regular list of crimes committed by immigrants.
It was initially announced in an executive order he signed during his first week as President, but during his speech he laid out more details of his plan.
"I have ordered the Department of Homeland Security to create an office to serve American Victims.
The office is called VOICE — Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement. We are providing a voice to those who have been ignored by our media, and silenced by special interests."
Okay that just sounds terrifying and wrong all on its own, I mean why would the crimes committed by non-citizens warrant a different classification than those committed by your typical all American drug dealer, rapist, or murderer?
But it gets even worse when you remember this:
Adolf Hitler also published lists of crimes committed by immigrants.
An article from a Nazi periodical entitled ‘The Criminal Jew’, featured in the book Hitler’s Ethic: The Nazi Pursuit of Evolutionary Progress by professor Richard Weikart, features photos of Jewish people captioned with the crimes they have committed.
"In 1943, a Nazi directive to the German press declared, 'Jews are criminal by disposition. The Jews are not a nation like other nations but bearers of hereditary criminality.'"
That's right, Hitler.
This is how you create an underclass that is always viewed with suspicion by supposedly more upstanding citizens.
Soon the so-called REAL citizens will be seeing criminal activity around every corner, and with every sighting of somebody with brown skin, a thick accent, or wearing traditional clothing from someplace NOT in America.
It is only a hop, skip, and a jump from there to labeling restaurants "For Citizens Only," public lynchings, and using fire hoses and police dogs to break up every gathering of non-Caucasians.
I skipped last night's speech because I knew it would be filled with lies and dangerous policy proposals.
Clearly I was correct.
As for the lies reports are that Trump made 61 statements, 51 of which false.
By the way just to poke the big orange bear, Trump's first SOTU did not get nearly the ratings that Obama's did.
Courtesy of Variety:
Across nine networks — ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Univision, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and Fox Business — Trump’s speech drew an average audience of 46.82 million from 9:15 to 10:15 p.m. in Nielsen’s still-not-quite-final numbers.
President Obama’s first address pulled in an audience of 52.37 million people across the four broadcast networks, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Telemundo, and Univision.
Gee even with over twice as many networks broadcasting the speech, he still could not measure up.
Just a reminder that no matter what he does he will always fall short.

Canada's Prime Minister under pressure as more and more immigrants from America stream across border seeking asylum.
Courtesy of The Guardian:
Justin Trudeau, Canada’s prime minister, is facing growing political pressure to address the steady stream of asylum seekers who have been braving freezing temperatures, fields of waist-deep snow and icy ditches to cross into Canada from the US by foot.
Recent months have seen a growing number of people entering Canada at remote, unguarded locations along the US border. Doing so allows the migrants – many of whom are desperate to flee Trump’s crackdown on immigration – to skirt a longstanding pact that bars most refugee claimants in the US from applying for asylum in Canada.
Advocates in Manitoba say they know of some 139 refugees – including children – who have made the perilous crossing since the start of the year, while groups in Quebec, British Columbia and Ontario also report a rise in irregular crossings.
Some haul suitcases for hours across frozen fields that straddle the border, while others are dropped by taxis metres away from the Quebec border. The asylum seekers – many of whom are from Somalia, Ghana and Djibouti – say their actions are driven by fears of what a Donald Trump presidency could mean for refugees in the US.
Amazing. In just four short weeks Donald Trump has changed America from a place that immigrants will travel vast distances to enter, to a place they will travel vast distances to escape.
Why do I get the feeling that this story will make him exceedingly pleased with himself?

Donald Trump admits that he got that fake Sweden attack story from Fox News, and then attacks media for pointing out it was fake.
My statement as to what's happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 19, 2017
So to be clear it was not the fault of Fox News for reporting a now debunked fake news story, or Donald Trump's fault for then exaggerating it to make a point.Give the public a break - The FAKE NEWS media is trying to say that large scale immigration in Sweden is working out just beautifully. NOT!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 20, 2017
Instead it is the fault of the media for doing their job to point out that the story is false.
Interesting.
Does that mean that all of these tweets from Sweden mocking Trump for making shit up about their country are ALSO fake?

But see that's the thing.
After being mocked during the Bush administration for having a barely coherent, short bus riding, moron in the White House, we then had eight years of the coolest, most intelligent, leader on the planet.
During those eight years other countries looked at us with envy.
And then what happens? We end up with a guy so ill informed and stupid that he makes George W. Bush look like an intellectual giant.

White House claims that allegation they planned to use National Guard to round up illegal immigrants was fake news. Media says, "What about this leaked draft proposal to do just that?"
Courtesy of AP:
The White House distanced itself Friday from a Department of Homeland Security draft proposal to use the National Guard to round up unauthorized immigrants, but lawmakers said the document offers insight into the Trump administration's internal efforts to enact its promised crackdown on illegal immigration.
Administration officials said the proposal, which called for mobilizing up to 100,000 troops in 11 states, was rejected, and would not be part of plans to carry out President Donald Trump's aggressive immigration policy.
If implemented, the National Guard idea, contained in an 11-page memo (http://apne.ws/2l1Dj0k ) obtained by The Associated Press, could have led to enforcement action against millions of immigrants living nowhere near the Mexican border. Four states that border on Mexico were included in the proposal — California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas — but it also encompassed seven states contiguous to those four — Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
Later White House spokes-liar Sean Spicer condemned this reporting.
Courtesy of Business Insider:
"It is false," the White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, said, according to a pool report. "It is irresponsible to be saying this. There is no effort at all to round up, to utilize the National Guard to round up illegal immigrants."
"I wish you guys had asked before you tweeted," Spicer added.
Yeah reporters, why didn't you ask Spicy, instead of running with actual documentation?
Wait, you did?
An AP reporter, however, replied that the wire service had asked the White House for comment multiple times before publishing the report, which was based off of a leaked DHS draft memo. The original AP story notes that neither the White House nor the Department of Homeland Security responded to requests for comment.
"AP reached out to the White House repeatedly beginning 24 hours before publishing this story and also asked the Department of Homeland Security for comment prior to publication," the AP's director of media relations told Business Insider. "We stand by our reporting."
Oh and there was also this from the original AP article:
However, DHS staffers said Thursday that they had been told by colleagues in two DHS departments that the proposal was still being considered as recently as Feb. 10. DHS spokeswoman Gillian Christensen declined to say who wrote the memo, how long it had been under consideration or when it had been rejected.
I think by now you guys know my baseline position on all of this "he said, she said" stuff.
Since essentially EVERY SINGLE ONE of Trump's spokespeople, campaign staff, and advisers have been caught lying multiple times I simply do not believe a fucking word that comes out of that administration's various pie holes.
If I have to choose between respected news organizations and that bad Melissa McCarthy impersonator, I am going with respected news organizations every time.
So yeah, this administration most DEFINITELY considered using a military force to kick in doors and haul away undocumented workers in this country.

Obama comes out in support of anti-Trump protests.
Courtesy of Politico:
Former President Barack Obama’s office released a statement Monday supporting the protests going on around the country, and speaking out against discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion, saying “American values are at stake.”
Kevin Lewis, spokesman for Obama in his post-presidency, said that Obama — who has been threading the balance between the tradition of presidents deferring to their successors and coming out against President Donald Trump on specific issues he considered core values — “is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country.”
“Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake,” Lewis said.
“With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the president fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion,” Lewis said.
Well that was carefully worded, but it still made the point that Obama is horrified by what Trump is doing to this country.
I have to imagine it is killing President Obama to stay silent on everything that is happening since he left office.
In fact I imagine that it is breaking his heart.
And I have to believe, despite the unwritten rule about ex-presidents not criticizing current White House occupants, that he may not be able to do so much longer.
President Obama was above all a patriot with a great and abiding love for this country, and its citizens.
Right now his country and its citizens are suffering immensely, so how long can unwritten guidelines and a sense of decorum keep our greatest President from coming to the aid of his people?

Senator Chuck Schumer tears up over Donald Trump's Muslim ban. Trump mocks him for it.
Seems heartfelt to me.
However I actually have a heart.
Trump did not see it that way.
President Trump launched into a fiery defense of his controversial refugee and immigration restrictions Monday, blaming protesters and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer’s ‘fake tears’ for difficulties at U.S. airports, and urging his opponents to “study the world!”
Yeah that's right. THEY'RE the ones who need to study more.
Trump also took to Twitter, of course, to mock Senator Schumer.
Those are some powerful tears.
But what can you expect from Donald Trump?
Malignant Narcissists simply do not have empathy.
Which means that there is no way that any other person's suffering is going to mean anything to Trump.
So we have gone from a President who seemed to feel everything, to a president who feels nothing.
However I actually have a heart.
Trump did not see it that way.

Donald Trump removes any doubt that his immigration ban is based on Islamophobia.
Our country needs strong borders and extreme vetting, NOW. Look what is happening all over Europe and, indeed, the world - a horrible mess!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 29, 2017
It would seem clear to me that Trump is justifying the ban not only by citing terrorist attacks here in America but also attacks against Christians in the Middle East.Christians in the Middle-East have been executed in large numbers. We cannot allow this horror to continue!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 29, 2017
And while the killing of Christians based on their religious beliefs is indeed disgusting and inhuman, it is also true that in the Middle East Muslims kill their fellow Muslims due to differing religious beliefs in far, far greater numbers.
The way the tweet is worded it makes is sound as if Trump is using the ban to keep the evil Muslims from killing the saintly Christians in this country, which is a pitfall that even the clumsy Bush administration was able to avoid.
Which is once again quite ironic considering that it is this so-called Christian nation that has been dropping tons of bombs on predominately Muslim countries for the last 16 years.
Trump is also ramping up the "War on Terror" which surely means American troops on the ground in Islamic countries, and an increase in civilian causalities.
In other words, Trump has just openly started a very public religious war in the name of Christianity on a number of Muslim countries.
And this is how he is responding to those criticizing him for it.
The joint statement of former presidential candidates John McCain & Lindsey Graham is wrong - they are sadly weak on immigration. The two...— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 29, 2017
Yeah, I don't think THEY'RE the ones looking to start World War III....Senators should focus their energies on ISIS, illegal immigration and border security instead of always looking to start World War III.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 29, 2017
Of course all of this only gives even more credibility to this Twitter account:
