Track Palin's trial has been pushed to March 27th.

Sarah Palin's oldest son is scheduled for trial in a case accusing him of assaulting his father at the family's Alaska home. 

A judge Friday set trial for the week of March 27 for Track Palin after his lawyer said the case would not be ready for a late-February trial as initially set. Palin participated in the proceeding by phone from an undisclosed treatment location. Afterward, the lawyer declined to say what kind of treatment. 

The 28-year-old Palin pleaded not guilty last month to a felony burglary charge in the December incident. He also faces misdemeanor charges of assault and criminal mischief.

I am a few days late in reporting this, mostly because I predicted the trial would be postponed repeatedly and figured all of you did as well. 

In other words this might not be the last postponement we see in this case.

When the trial does take place it is going to be covered by a number of national news outlets so we will be kept well informed as it unfolds.

I would also like to take a moment to address the growing gossip about Bristol's marriage.

Currently there is no definitive evidence that the marriage is over, despite numerous comments declaring it to be so.

Yes it does not appear that Dakota and Bristol are spending much time together, and in fact Dakota has not appeared in any of Bristol's Instagram photos since December.

But that does not constitute proof.

I think we can all predict, based on Bristol's past, that this relationship will not stand the test of time.

But as of now we do not know that it has definitively hit the skids.

Once we have evidence to prove that, trust me I will gladly report that here.

Wow, I think she has even outdone her grifting mother on this one. That is pretty damn low.

Speaking of low, as you may have heard the protective order against Track Palin has been dismissed and the case has been ordered confidential.

As for his child custody case with Jordan Loewe it appears that it has also been settled, and yes the court ordered it to remain confidential as well.

If you are wondering if there was some kind of pay off I think that would be a safe assumption, though it is unlikely that we will ever hear any details.

And finally yes Dakota did say in an online Facebook Q&A that he is moving to Austin, Texas, and yes it appears that Bristol and the kids are going as well.

That is all I know about this right now.

Track Palin‘s baby mama says she is worried about her newborn’s safety, and RadarOnline.com has learned she wants to control when and where he can see his newborn child! 

As Radar reported, Track’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Loewe, filed for custody of their newborn child, Charlie Mitchell Palin, last Wednesday. 

According to newly obtained court documents, she is demanding primary physical custody of the 3-month-old child because — she claims — she is “concerned” about her “safety or the safety of her children.” 

Loewe wrote in the paperwork she wanted Track’s visitation to be “COMPLETELY” at her discretion.

Well let's go out on a limb here and say that it appears that Track's rehabilitation did not take.

Instead of getting the kind of jail time and court ordered rehabilitation in a licensed facility that he deserved, the Grizzled Mama used her influence to get her woman beating POS son out of any serious consequences for his behaviors.

However it appears that Jordan is using that incident as leverage and is claiming that she was the victim of his drunken rampage and claims "the incident could influence the custody proceedings."

In other words if Track tries to fight this, she will air all of his dirty laundry in court for everybody to see.

Which is exactly the appropriate tactic when dealing with his dysfunctional group of drunken Wasillabillies.

So Track Palin's case for beating the mother of his future baby boy is over.

As some of you pointed out yesterday it appears that Track's case has been disposed.

After having he hearing continued over and over again apparently Track did whatever the minimum requirement was for having the case disappear.

According to the Anchorage DA that was supposed to involve going through some therapeutic program at the VA.

Did he do that? Beats me, but since he is a Palin you can bet he only did the very least he needed to do to get this behind him.

For those who may have forgotten Track Palin was arrested on January 18th, of this year:Track Palin, 26, was charged yesterday with assault, interfering with a report of domestic violence, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated. All three charges are misdemeanors. Spokespersons with both the Wasilla Police Department and the district attorney’s office confirmed their existence.

Later we got a bit more of the story: 

According to the three-page affidavit, both Palin and his girlfriend called 911 that night. Police Officer Andrew Kappler wrote that he arrived at the Wasilla home and found Track Palin walking outside and talking on a phone. The officer said Palin had an injury to his right eye and surrounding area, smelled strongly of alcohol and acted with escalating hostility, prompting Kappler to put him in handcuffs. 

Police say a breath sample provided by Palin showed he had a blood alcohol level of 0.189. 

The affidavit says other officers found the girlfriend hiding under a bed inside the home and crying. 

The argument continued at the home, according to the affidavit, which says Palin struck the woman with his fist on the left side of her head near her eye. She curled up in the fetal position because she didn't know what else he would do, the woman told police. She said he then kicked her in the knee and threw her phone across the driveway, according to the court document. The woman said she went inside after getting her phone. 

Inside, Palin held the rifle, with the barrel just away from his face pointed to the side, the affidavit states. The affidavit adds that the woman told police Palin was yelling "Do you think I won't do it?" 

(We also learned from Gino that Track kept asking Jordan if she thought he was a "pussy," but that did not make it into the police report.)

The case seemed to move slowly for a time and then on July 13th, we thought we heard some good news:

"Defendant remanded to custody." It says it right there in black and white.

And yet by July 15th it had been expunged and replaced with "Hearing Continued."

And that was followed up by this sudden explanation of how the case was going from Track's very expensive attorney:

Getting the domestic violence assault charge dropped was “not an insignificant dismissal,” he said, insisting that the possession of a weapon while intoxicated charge “really more accurately tracks what went down” when Track was accused of drunkenly attacking his girlfriend in January. 

 Still, Fitzgerald said they weren’t altogether pleased with the final charge that stuck. “I believe it’s got constitutional infirmities because it precludes people form possessing firearms, even unloaded firearms, in their own homes if they’re under the influence,” he insisted. “We weren’t going to make a big constitutional issue of it, but that’s what the situation was.” 

Fitzgerald went on to claim that if Track finished his "therapeutic treatment" those final charges would be dropped.

So according to what Court View is saying today that means that Track finished his therapy despite not leaving his parent's home in Wasilla.

Gosh it's good to have powerful friends in the state, don't you think?

But have no fear justice seekers, after all this IS Track Palin we're talking about, so how long can it really be until his next brush with the law?

Rep. Alan Grayson threatened to have a POLITICO reporter arrested Tuesday,alleging that the reporter assaulted him as he attempted to question the congressman about allegations of domestic abuse. 

The Florida Democrat and Senate candidate was on his way out of an event hosted by POLITICO in Philadelphia when reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere approached him to ask about allegations by his ex-wife that he had battered her over the course of two decades. The congressman strongly denied the allegations in the story, first reported by POLITICO on Tuesday, but he only provided a comment through his lawyer for the article, which detailed police and court documents dating back to 1994.

 A video of the exchange shows Grayson refusing to stop to talk to Dovere and appearing to nudge him aside as the congressman made his way towards the elevator.

You know I used to really admire Alan Grayson and featured a number of his House floor speeches here on IM, along with a couple of his zingers directed at the Republicans.

But then I started hearing about his corruption allegations, and by the time that Harry Reid was calling for his resignation, I was pretty much done.

It seems that so many of the people that we admire turn out to have less than admirable qualities in the long run.

So finally Sarah Palin is finished licking her wounds after being excluded from all the "fun" in Cleveland, and has taken to Facebook to try and make it all about her again.

I hear the convention TelePrompTer was abandoned during one speech last night, harkening back to the 2008 VP Nomination speech when the GOP Convention TelePrompTer let me just let 'et rip. (Oh God, not the teleprompter lie again.) Funny, while I was just now looking up '08 media coverage of that broken TelePrompTer during my speech, it appears the lamestream media lied about the issue then, and still lies about it. The more things change, the more they stay the same with the LSM still just "making things up!" (And they wonder why they're so distrusted and despised?) Because I have a life and I ignore the media haters (Ha!), I'd been unaware all these years that reporters denied the TelePrompTer glitch ever happened. (Well of course it's a lie that she was "unaware," but the accounts saying the teleprompter was working were from eyewitnesses in the audience that night.) Silly, silly irrelevant reporters... did they really think some campaign speech writer fed the TelePrompTer my ad-libbed comments like the "Hockey Mom & Pitbull with Lipstick" joke? (Actually yes. they did.)

Personally I think that Palin smeared sugar or chocolate on her lips to get Trig to kiss her like that. 

Or maybe Trig simply finished his anger management classes and can now be next to his absentee mother without trying to knock her block off.

Poor kid.

Speaking of the not so poor kids, people have been asking me if Track Palin is in jail.

No he is not.

Or whether of not he is in some inpatient substance abuse program.

Again, no.

He may be attending some outpatient therapy, as directed by the Veteran's Court, but currently from what I have been told he is free to walk among his fellow woman beaters in Wasilla. (Remember in the Mat-Su Valley one in two women are the victim of domestic abuse.)

Track's next court date is on July 25th, but I have little doubt that it is only a formality as mommy has already fixed everything so that her first born will never have to face the consequences of his actions.

If I were a member of that family I would always sleep with my door locked. Because really, it's only a matter of time. 

Somebody is finally reporting that Track Palin has a serious alcohol problem. Well that's a start.

Said Fitzgerald, “If he completes the treatment, the last charge too will be dismissed. If he doesn’t then he’s looking at 180 days … with two years of informal probation.”

I will argue that the chances of Track finishing this treatment program successfully are slim.

Because while they seem willing to admit that Track has a drinking problem from what I have heard from just about everybody is that alcoholism is only the tip of the drug addicted iceberg.

And Track has been abusing these substances since he was in high school, so the idea that he can suddenly break the addiction cycle is a high bar to set in my opinion.

I mean do not get me wrong, I really do hope that he is successful because he has two small children to care for, but working on all of this while living with his ever ready to enable, excuse making parents, seems like a recipe for disaster.

Yep, Track Palin is in jail! Update!

So as many of you started pointing out late yesterday FINALLY a Palin is doing time.

Of course this is due to that incident back in January where Track Palin, with blood alcohol level of 0.189, attacked his girlfriend Jordan Loewe, punching her in the face, throwing her cellphone out of reach, and kicking her at least once while she was helpless at his feet.

Track also waved around some kind of firearm (According to Loewe he was threatening to kill himself.) which forced his girlfriend to crawl into the house and call 911.

Track was then charged with three misdemeanors: assault, interfering with reporting of a domestic violence crime, and a weapons charge.

He plead not guilty (Of course.)  and was bailed out by a family friend (Mom was busy pimping Donald Trump back when Alaska was not too far away from which to fly to the lower forty eight.) for $1,500.

Then the next thing we heard was that Track had his case moved out of the regular court and to the Veteran's Court on June 27th, where his hearings kept being continued until July 13 when apparently the hearing was finally held and he was immediately remanded into custody. (Remanded means locked up without bail.)

Of course in the interim we also heard that Track's, now fiance Jordan Loewe, is expecting his child (A boy.) so there will be yet another Palin family member terrorizing Wasilla in the years to come.

I must say that if one were to believe in Karma that it would certainly seem to have come back on Sarah Palin in spades.

• For one thing her husband came close to dying in a recent snowmachine accident.
• She was summarily dumped by her new boyfriend Donald Trump.
• Her eldest son is now in jail for beating the shit out of his now pregnant fiance. 
• Her eldest daughter has been revealed to be a bitch on ice who has used her son to punish her ex-boyfriend for almost a decade now.
• She is now considered radioactive by most conservative politicians. 
• Her name has been reduced to nothing more than a punchline for late night comics.
• Oh, and her SarahPAC quarterly report shows that she is hemorrhaging money at an alarming rate. (More on that in the next post.)

Yeah it seems that Sarah Palin's version of winning is reminiscent of this guy.

People continue to ask me, when are you going to bring this bitch down?

And once again my response would be, "How much further is it to "down?"

Update: Okay so I have been in contact with other folks following this case carefully and learned that the Anchorage jail is denying that Track is being held there.

However I also learned that Track actually showed up for his hearing on June 27th, but became "very uncomfortable" and had to leave.

I don't know what that means exactly but they ended up pushing the hearing forward.

There is also some confusion as to why Track was remanded into custody on the 13th, when he was not scheduled for a court visit again until July 25th.

If I had to take a guess I think I would go with failed drug test, but once again no confirmation on that.

Yet.

Update 2: Oh hell, the "remanded" part was just removed from Court View.

It looks like Snowdrift Snooki CAN still pull some strings.

Alabama man shoots girlfriend from behind in front of her two children because he "was tired of arguing with her."

According to investigators, 39-year-old Jeremy Hardin walked up and shot Jody Marie Watson, 38, from behind, telling police that he was just tired of arguing with her. 

Dispatchers received Hardin’s 911 call at approximately the same time they received a second 911 call from a neighbor who said Watson’s two children had come to their house and said their mother had been shot. 

Chief Deputy Randy Christian said the small children witnessed the shooting but were not injured. Watson also had an older son, but he was at school when the incident occurred. 

According to detectives, Hardin said that he and Watson had a history of fighting and that he wanted it to stop. Police report that they received three prior reports of domestic violence at the home — the most recent call taking place on March 9. 

Officers were dispatched for the March call, but Watson refused to press charges.

She probably didn't press charges because she desperately wanted the relationship to work out despite the fact that he was assaulting her.

And what does she get for giving him another chance? She gets murdered in front of her children.

And once again I have every confidence that this man convinced himself and his girlfriend that the gun was there to protect them.

But it so rarely seems to work out that way.

Gee I wonder if Track Palin's mommy will go to court with him?

RadarOnline.com has learned that Track Palin will soon have to face the court to answer for his recent arrest for assault and possession of a weapon while intoxicated. 

The army vet, who pled not guilty to the charges, must attend a pre-trial conference on Feb. 19 at the Palmer Courthouse. 

If Palin does not settle his case at the pre-trial conference, the courts have set a trial call for March 24. 

I am hoping against hope that Track stubbornly refuses to plead guilty to these charges, and that we get to watch this whole thing play out in the media.

I am already trying to get somebody to cover my work responsibilities so that I can hang out in the Palmer courthouse.

I will convince Dennis Zaki to come back too, and film them entering and leaving the courthouse.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this idiot will not listen to reason.

And why would he? After all he's a Palin.

After new video is released of Ray Rice knocking his then fiance unconscious the NFL finally decides that maybe they should suspend his woman beating ass.

The Baltimore Ravens said Monday they have cut Ray Rice from the team following TMZ’s posting of a video from February in which Rice is seen knocking out his then-fiancée and now-wife Janay Palmer. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced minutes later that he has indefinitely suspended Rice from the league. Several months ago, video footage of Rice dragging Palmer out of the elevator led the NFL to suspend him for two games. It seems the league needs double confirmation of domestic abuse before firing players. In response to the initial outrage, the NFL established a new policy for domestic violence: First-time offenders will automatically be suspended six games and repeat offenders will be suspended indefinitely.

Jesus he hits that woman full force with a closed fist.  And then she hits the hand rail before crumpling to the ground like a puppet with her strings cut.

Okay I have two questions here.

First what kind of a man hits the woman he "loves" that fucking hard? Or at all even?

And second what kind of woman marries the man that does something like that to her?

Is it just the money? Because I somehow doubt that there will be very much of that coming his way in the future.

You know I am a man with no small amount of anger issues myself, but I have NEVER struck a woman. Never!

And trust me when I tell you that I have been with some women who have seemed to do everything in their power to get me to do exactly that.

But if I had ever slipped, ever lost control even for a moment, I cannot imagine striking a woman that hard.

And if I had my very own mother would have gladly cut my balls off for me. As she warmed me repeatedly when I was but a lad.

That guy should not only be cut from the team, and kicked out of the NFL, he should be thrown into prison. Period!

For over a decade women have been dying of domestic abuse at the rate of one every twelve days. The war on women is real.

More than 300 women were shot, stabbed, strangled, beaten, bludgeoned or burned to death over the past decade by men in South Carolina, dying at a rate of one every 12 days while the state does little to stem the carnage from domestic abuse. 

More than three times as many women have died here at the hands of current or former lovers than the number of Palmetto State soldiers killed in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars combined. 

It’s a staggering toll that for more than 15 years has placed South Carolina among the top 10 states nationally in the rate of women killed by men. The state topped the list on three occasions, including this past year, when it posted a murder rate for women that was more than double the national rate. 

Awash in guns, saddled with ineffective laws and lacking enough shelters for the battered, South Carolina is a state where the deck is stacked against women trapped in the cycle of abuse, a Post and Courier investigation has found. 

Couple this with deep-rooted beliefs about the sanctity of marriage and the place of women in the home, and the vows “till death do us part” take on a sinister tone.

The article goes on to point out that while the rate of domestic violence has tumbled 64% nationwide, that there is little change in South Carolina.

But why?  

Interviews with more than 100 victims, counselors, police, prosecutors and judges reveal an ingrained, multi-generational problem in South Carolina, where abusive behavior is passed down from parents to their children. Yet the problem essentially remains a silent epidemic, a private matter that is seldom discussed outside the home until someone is seriously hurt. 

“We have the notion that what goes on between a couple is just between the couple and is none of our business,” said 9th Circuit Solicitor Scarlett Wilson, chief prosecutor for Charleston and Berkeley counties. “Where that analysis goes wrong is we have to remember that couple is training their little boy that this is how he treats women and training their little girl that this is what she should expect from her man. The cycle is just perpetual.”

It should also not be terribly surprising that the top ten states where a woman is most likely to be murdered by her significant other are almost exclusively red states. (With the exception of Vermont. What the hell Vermont?)

Personally I would place a lot of blame on fundamentalist religious reliefs that equate women with property, and insist that the man is the head of the household and must be deferred to in all cases.

That kind of thinking simply opens up a Pandora's box of possible abuse scenarios.

I also could not help but to be reminded of a post I did last year, which indicated that one in every two women living in the Mat-Su Valley (Yes that is where Wasilla is located), have been the victim of domestic violence.

Yes there is a war on women, and it is being fought in Washington DC, the boardrooms, and in living rooms all over America. And sadly, for right now,  the women appear to be on the losing end.

And that my friends is something that needs to change, and it needs to change now.

In perhaps the least shocking news of the day George Zimmerman is in trouble with the law again.

George Zimmerman has been arrested in Florida, NBC News has learned. 

A Seminole County Sheriff's Office statement says Zimmerman was arrested Monday afternoon after deputies responded to a disturbance call at a house in Apopka, Fla., about 15 miles northwest of Orlando. 

Zimmerman will be transported and booked into jail pending arraignment. 

The statement provided few other details, and it was not immediately known what charges he faced.

The police have not release any details as of yet, but the Orlando Sentinel did dig up this little tidbit: 

The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka about 1 p.m. 

Zimmerman's new girlfriend, a 27-year-old blonde, lives in the 1300 block of Topfield Court, according to an unrelated Lake Mary police report.

Hmm, smells like domestic abuse to me. And it is certainly not the first time he has had run ins with the law over that in the past.

The only question is what will it take before George Zimmerman is locked away for good? It is not like we were not warned that he was dangerous.

Okay so the lawyer says that Zimmerman had a gun, but the police did not find one?

So what is this, bad police work, or did Zimmerman get somebody to take his gun and hide it for him before they arrived.

I am very interested to know what that I-Pad recorded and if THAT was why Zimmerman tried so hard to destroy it.

Suffering domestic abuse while teaching at a Catholic school? Well that's a firing.

A San Diego teacher was fired by Holy Trinity School following a domestic violence incident involving her ex-husband. 

Second-grade teacher Carie Charlesworth is out of a job, but not for anything she did in the classroom. Her school district considers her a liability and too unsafe to have around following a domestic violence dispute that happened earlier this year. 

A letter sent to Charlesworth said that school officials are concerned about her ex-husband's "threatening and menacing behavior," and as a result they "cannot allow" her to continue teaching at the Holy Trinity School. 

"They’ve taken away my ability to care for my kids,” said Charlesworth. “It’s not like I can go out and find a teaching job anywhere.” 

The mother of four children didn’t think this would ever be her story to tell, but she is using her name and showing her face in hopes of bringing attention to a larger problem.

So Christian of them to compound this poor woman's problem from simply being abused, to being abused while unemployed.

After all WWJD?

You know I worked at a business that served children where a woman was being physically abused by her husband and was seeking a divorce. Rather than fire her, or shame her for her situation, we supported her.

One day her husband showed up yelling and making all kinds of scary threats.

The owners escorted the children to the back of the building and I went outside and had a "chat" with the gentleman. He never came back again.

I have seen similar scenarios numerous times in my life, and yet I don't remember ONE time where the employers fired the abuse victim. I guess that must be a Catholic thing.
