Sarah Palin responds to conservative calls to blackball her over her support of Donald Trump, by backing up a truck and dumping a huge load of word salad onto her Facebook page.

So in an article appearing in something called the Conservative Review, Amanda Carpenter called for the blackballing of Trump supporters including among others Chris Christie, Ben Carson, and of course Sarah Palin.

I am not precisely sure how the others on the list responded, but Sarah Palin....well Sarah Palin was not going to take this lying down.

Well at least her ghostwriter wasn't.

Here is just a portion:

Hooray For the Blacklist! Revelation "The Man" Was Either Lying Then or They're Lying Now

Yippee! We're blacklisted! Patriots who've had enough of Washington DC hypocrisy and t'aint gonna take it anymore are now officially "blacklisted" and "targeted" (*note: you are not allowed to use those politically incorrect words, you racist gun clingers; only the chosen ones are allowed).

(Yep, somebody has been hitting the sauce!)

The so-called "conservative" Professional Political Class has united against me and others for supporting our party's frontrunner and refusing to join their ‪#‎NeverTrump‬ campaign that will ultimately elect Hillary Clinton. The self-appointed kingmakers don't even hide the fact their efforts to destroy our winning candidate, while disrespecting the will of the people, ultimately bolsters the liberal left and fuels the insider's shared gravy train that they all suck from. (Gravy train suckers. Yuck!) Many have actually promised to stop at nothing to thwart the electorate's choice for a successful commonsense conservative who's in perfect position to bust up the Washington cabal and return our government back to We the People. Want to join me on their blacklist? Sign here! Want a bumpersticker proclaiming it loud and proud? Make one, then send me one for my truck, eh? (That's our girl, never missing the chance to grift.)

In setting aside "real life" this morning, I took a minute to google news of the day and saw this blacklist. It immediately reminded me why millions of Americans across party lines are coalescing to reject Washington DC's politics-as-usual.

The political establishment collecting names to brand us blacklisted are exactly this - as spoken by William F. Buckley: "Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views." Obviously the same is true with our own party's elitist political bullies who claim to be the only keepers of the conservative flame ignited by Buckley, Goldwater and Reagan.

This Primary election has sifted out the self-appointed movers and shakers in the GOP who are up to no good, thanks to Donald Trump's campaign exposing unprincipled politicos' true agenda. For as much as these politicians, pundits, consultants, and "conservative" media types rant, rave and pontificate, there's no denying they really don't care who wins elections as long as they keep their perks, titles, ratings, and invites to their pal's preachin'-to-the-choir venues. (Does anybody else smell the fire and brimstone?)

More Americans now find out these folks are really good at using and abusing their audiences and supporters. I know personally that when it benefited their elections, their fundraisers, their poll numbers, careers and connections, they sure agreed with my conservative politics. For nearly a decade they've requested my endorsement, my social media shout-outs, my pro bono consulting and advice, and as much in-person support as my time allowed me to give them. They were either lying then, or they're lying now about my judgment creds. (Or it could just be that you are now a has been, with no political clout or ability to draw enough attention to their cause or candidate to bother with anymore.) I've never asked any of them for anything in return (they can all testify to that) except their integrity to shine. (Does ANYBODY really buy that?) You'd think that at least in my respecting their right to endorse whichever Presidential candidate they choose, they'd reciprocate and simply respect my right to endorse a commonsense conservative Republican who just happens to not be top of their list.

The rant of course goes on and on during which she attacks a few former allies, who she feels are in agreement with this blackballing (Insert your favorite Glen Rice joke here.), and ends with a quote from Andrew Breitbart.

In between those two things is this rather bizarre outburst:

So the clever DC herd that's created the cutesie social media hashtag (because Twitter handles are just so doggone intimidating and powerful in battle, I guess?) are attempting to thwart the will of the people and the power of electorate with their #NeverTrump ammo. Well, kiddos, quick history lesson – our founders had their own hard copy kind of hashtag. It looked like ‪#‎WeThePeople‬. And #WeThePeople are turning out by the millions, smashing voter participation records to fight against exactly the sort of hypocritical elitist games you are playing with our Republic. #WeThePeople will be in Cleveland this summer for the GOP Convention to make sure your haughtiness doesn't drive you to follow through on your asinine threats to do something untoward and silence the voice of #WeThePeople. True Conservatives and Independents who are in this for a reason, not a season... who don't look at elections as "just business"... who sacrifice precious time and resources away from our families and jobs in order to help others, well, we'll continue to stand united against the Left with our nominee, despite your ironclad commitment now to see him fall, which leads to Hillary's victory.

Hang on let me shovel my way out of this pile of putrid word salad.

Whew! Clearly somebody hit a nerve!

You know in many ways Sarah Palin's response is almost exactly what we would expect from Donald Trump. The only difference being that Trump favors Twitter while Palin likes to expose her idiocy on Facebook.

Bristol Palin's blog continues to be used to attack the President.

From Brancy's blog:

Wow — this is powerful. People from Chicago tell the President to resign.

This person from Alaska agrees.

Well of course she does, that's why her mother got her a blog. And a ghostwriter to tell her what to think.

The group Rebel Pundit is apparently an Andrew Breitbart inspired group who go out into the streets and capture video of people saying negative things about liberals, the President, and the Democrats and then carefully edits it together to look as if the whole country is turning against them. (By the way I can find nothign about this "Manchild movement" advertised on those t-shirts.)

It was founded by Jeremy Segal a Breitbart contributor who specializes in the kind of "gotcha journalism" for which a certain half term governor once expressed so much disdain.

Here is part of an interview that Segal conducted with outgoing White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley while the poor guy was waiting to board a flight in 2012:

Breitbart News: Jeremy Segal with Breitbart News. I wanted to ask you two quick questions.

Bill Daley: OK, sure.

Breitbart News: I wanted to know if it dissapointed you that the president took on the Catholic Church?

Daley: Who are you with again?

Breitbart News: Breitbart News.

Bill Daley: Is that a blog or something?

Breitbart News: Yes, and a national news site. You know Andrew Breitbart?

Bill Daley: Oh yeah, isn't that the guy that died?

Breitbart News: What are your feelings about--or were you dissapointed that the president took on the Catholic Church?

Bill Daley: He didn't take on the church...

Breitbart News: He didn't?

Bill Daley: No, there are some differences in view on certain issues, but he didn't take on the church.

Breitbart News: Did you leave the White House because of Valerie Jarrett?

Bill Daley: No.

Breitbart News: Would you care to elaborate on that?

Bill Daley: No, it had nothing to do with Valerie Jarrett.

Such hard hitting journalism, don't you think?

And now Palin's constantly impregnated cub is pimping gutter style journalism for one of the few Right Wing sites that still take her mother seriously.

Kind of sad really.

Conspiracy theorist, and contributor to Alex Jones Infowars, claims that President Obama has been killing off reporters right and left.

Jim Garrow.
Courtesy of Right Wing Watch:

Earlier this year, a right-wing activist named Jim Garrow started claiming that President Obama had instituted a litmus test within the military, requiring leaders to pledge to fire on American civilians if so ordered and purging anyone who refused.

Yesterday, Garrow showed up on Rick Wiles' End Times radio broadcast to claim that for the last forty years, he had been working as an undercover intelligence officer for the US government until he was forced out last month by President Obama for revealing this information.

During the interview, Garrow claimed that everyone in the intelligence community knows that President Obama is bisexual and that he has "little buddies ... brought into the White House even now."

Garrow also revealed that the Obama administration was responsible for the deaths of right-wing blogger Andrew Breitbart, journalist Michael Hastings, and novelist Tom Clancy, all of whom knew that Obama was, in reality, an agent of the Saudi Arabian government. In fact, Garrow said, it was the fact that Breitbart couldn't keep his mouth shut about it that caused all three of them to be killed:

Wiles: Is it common knowledge among intelligence agencies that Barack Obama is not an American but indeed a foreign agent?

Garrow: Yes. Yes.

Wiles: But do the other agencies know who he works for?

Garrow: Yes. Yeah, they do.

Wiles: And you think that answer is Saudi Arabia?

Garrow: Well, I know that to be true and that's why Breitbart, Hastings, and Tom Clancy are dead.

Wiles: Okay, Breitbart, no doubt in my mind, taken out. He bragged. I liked Andrew Brietbart but what he did was incredibly stupid. He bragged the day before his death that in the morning he was going to reveal shocking information that would stop the Obama campaign. Mr. Breitbart dropped dead waling home at night and his corpse was blood red.

Garrow: Brighter than that actually. But the point is that he caused the death of Hastings and Tom Clancy because he had been sharing data with them.

Wiles: There's a connection between Breitbart's death and Hastings and Clancy?

Garrow: All of them, yea. All of them. Because of the information that Breitbart gave to Tom Clancy, he was working on a novel that would have exposed Obama as a Saudi agenda, as a Saudi plant in the White House ... He knew exactly who Obama was and he was going to release it in character form in a book . The character was going to be this President of the United States who was a plant. It was going to be the real information about Obama was going to come out in the form of a novel.

If you are thinking that this Rick Wiles guy sounds vaguely familiar you are right. He was the guy from End Times radio who interviewed the husband of the Stenographer for God the other day.

So these are the kinds of conspiracy theories rattling around out there in the fringes of the Right Wing. The ones that are shaping the views of many of the Tea Party's staunchest supporters.

And you just KNOW how much they want to believe that Obama had something to do with the death of Andrew Breitbart.

"Facts? We don't need no stinking facts! We know it must be true!"

Sarah Palin blows kisses at Tea party political terrorist Ted Cruz and encourages him to keep attempting to destroy the country.

"Hey Cruz-y. Thinking of you."
Courtesy of Palin's ghostwriters and that defunct site over on the Right Wing of the internet:

Americans who are fed up with Obamacare won a victory yesterday. The House voted to defund Obamacare while still funding the federal government to avoid a “devastating” shutdown. (I shall not digress, but it’s beyond distressing to hear liberals try to convince Americans that any government slowdown is comparable to “terrorism.”) (Yes how dare the media identify terrorism as terrorism when it is not done by those brown Muslim types.)

Now the battle goes to the Senate, and we’ll find out if Harry Reid is so committed to the horrendous “Un-affordable Care Act” that he’ll be the one to shut down the government to fund the unworkable Obamacare. (This is the new Republican trope. That they are NOT the ones who will end up being blamed if the government shuts down, but that they can somehow lay the blame on Harry Reid and the President. That of course is ridiculous and in the end the Republicans will bear virtually all of the blame. Something that Sarah Palin could not possibly understand.)

Let’s be clear. Republicans in Congress aren't advocating a government shutdown. (See?) That’s why they voted in the House to fully fund our bureaucracy while defunding Obamacare. The conservatives in Congress are listening to the majority of Americans who do not want Obamacare. (The people only THINK they don't want Obamacare due to the smear tactics and ad buys used by the Koch brothers and their corporate cohorts. Once Americans start to access the ACA they will be of a much different opinion, which explains WHY the GOP is terrified to let it start implementation.)

Following the will of the people is apparently a novel idea in D.C. these days. Just ask Senator Ted Cruz and his liberty-loving posse on Capitol Hill who have led the charge to defund Obama’s train wreck. (And who better to recognize a train wreck?)

Those of us who hang in there supporting a major political party with our energy, time, and contributions would like to believe that that party would praise principled conservatives like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee for following through on campaign promises. We’d like to believe that the GOP establishment would applaud the way these bold leaders have rallied the grassroots to their cause. But, no, such praise would require a commensurate level of guts and leadership, and the permanent political class in D.C. is nothing if not gutless and rudderless. (Ahh calling the seasoned Republicans "gutless." I wonder how John McCain feels about his creature these days?)

We’re now, once again, subjected to the “anonymous sources” backstabbing game. The Capitol Hill cowards are rushing to anonymously denounce Senator Cruz to any reporter with a pad and pen. (Or as they are known more widely, politically savvy insiders who know that Cruz and his pals are about to destroy the Republic party from within, while doing untold damage to the country.)

Welcome to our world, Ted. The same people have been denouncing conservatives like me for years (right after they ask for help fundraising for themselves or endorsing the latest candidate they’ve suckered into paying their exorbitant consulting fees). We can compare shiv marks next time we meet, my friend. (The only thing conservative about Sarah Palin is the number of brain cells she uses while arguing her point.)

If the Senate doesn’t get behind Ted Cruz’s efforts to defund Obamacare, it won’t be because of any failure on Ted’s part. It’ll be because there weren’t enough principled leaders to stand with him, and that would be a tragic loss, not for Ted, but for America. (Yes how will America survive having politicians do the right thing for their constituents rather than to scream "Benghazi!" and throw a two year old style tantrum until the process in Washington grinds to a halt?)

More and more Americans are waking up to the nightmare of Obamacare as its rollout continues. Hardworking families are losing their employer-provided health care coverage. Businesses are cutting back their employees’ hours to skirt Obamacare’s mandates. Americans barely scrapping (I think this was supposed to be "scraping.")  by are discovering that Obamacare has made health care completely unaffordable. Those who aren’t part of a protected special interest group have been left in the cold. (Uh yeah, none of that is exactly true and once the law goes into effect, it will lower insurance premiums, provide far better coverage, and help businesses grow. And THAT is what the Republicans are afraid of!)

When you’re living on a fixed income, having to pay hundreds of dollars more each month for health care will cut into your ability to pay for basic necessities like food, electricity, or gas (which has increased 90% under Obama). Open your eyes, America. When the full reality of Obamacare strikes home, we’ll thank God that principled leaders like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee took a stand to stop it in its tracks. (Wanna bet?)

But the permanent political class is handwringing and howling that if there’s a government shutdown the media will blame Republicans for it. Here’s a little newsflash, GOP establishment: Whenever anything bad happens, the media blames Republicans for it. That’s not an excuse to roll over and play dead. (What a great idea! The public already hates the GOP so why not keep doing things to reinforce that hate, rather than do something to earn back respect? We could call this "The Palin Doctrine.") It’s a call to follow the advice I give my daughters: Woman up, stand your ground, and fight like a girl! (Refusing to cooperate, throwing tantrums when they don't get their way, and changing the subject when they start to lose and argument. I think they already ARE fighting like a girl. No offense ladies.)

I want no pity. I need no empathy. But use me as a barometer. Over the years, the leftwing media has falsely and irrationally accused me of everything from faking a pregnancy to abetting murder. They lie. Deal with it. ("Falsely?" "Irrationally?" I don't think those words mean what you think they mean.)

Republicans in Congress support funding the government. If the Democrats block these funding measures, a government shutdown is on them. In the meantime, stop the ridiculous hysterics. Heck, about the most significant thing that happened during the last government shutdown was Clinton hooked up with Monica. (Actually it made the Republicans look like petulant children, cost them seats in the next election, and helped smooth the way for Clinton's reelection bid. So in the words of our President, "Proceed gentlemen.")

As I said in my speech at CPAC this year, it’s time for the Senate to put itself on Cruz Control. (Jesus how many SarahPAC bucks did THAT line cost her?)

Ignore the peanut gallery pundits. They’ve written my political obituary so many times, I’m practically Lazarus. (Yes, if Lazarus had never been able to crawl all the way out of his grave and simply yelled unintelligible gibberish at passerby's from his hole in the ground. Or Facebook.) Now they’re trying to destroy Ted Cruz. Good luck with that, you weasels. Texans are just as tough as Alaskans. Smaller, but just as tough.

But here’s the important thing that none of these establishment backstabbers understand. It’s not the messenger that matters. It’s the message. You can try to take out someone like Ted Cruz, but that won’t stop the message from catching fire. (A flaming message? Isn't that a Molotov Cocktail?)

The message is liberty, and it’s been resounding ever since a band of patriots dumped tea in Boston harbor. The message only grows stronger. The grassroots is bigger than any one person. We the People will rise up, and we will make our voices heard. Right now, Ted Cruz is speaking for us in this Obamacare fight. God bless him for it.

Hang in there, Ted and Mike. You have millions of supporters among ordinary hardworking Americans. We support you because you don’t shy away from the fray. May your colleagues in the Senate gain the wisdom to support your excellent efforts so that you can see that the view is better from inside the bus than under it. (Yeah I think that Palin has confused the homeless guy in the back arguing with the empty seat in front of him with the driver of the bus.)

Oh, and a little reminder to Republican senators up for re-election in 2014: Moose season ends soon, allowing more time on one’s hands. So, we’ll be watching your votes very carefully this week. (That sounds like a veiled threat to shoot somebody, doesn't it?)

Some days I really hate my job. And this is one one of them.

Having to spend my morning wading through that ghostwritten sewage is not a job for the timid, or for a man with only one slipper (Where is that other slipper?) and only one cup of coffee to inspire him.

However if I don't write about Sarah Palin who will? (No seriously, who will?)

I think it is perfect that the Palin albatross has landed on the Ted Cruz ship of fools, as that is a sure indication that it is about to hit a political reef and sink into the inky blackness.

Of course this was all ghostwritten for her, though there was certainly a lot of Palin in there. ("Faking a pregnancy." "Abetting murder." That last one is just her way of picking at the never quite ready to heal Gabby Giffords scab.)

However after all is said and done Obamacare WILL move forward, and like Medicare it will soon seem to be an indispensable part of American life. And Ted Cruz will join the ranks of radical firebrands like Jesse Helms, Joe McCarthy, and that famous Republican Adolph Hitler.

And Sarah Palin will be remembered, much like Lazarus, as a moldering corpse who stumbled around among the living, not realizing that they were only stinking up the place and looking more decayed with every public appearance.

Disney angers conservatives by naming unlikable character after deceased Right Wing shock "journalist."

See that attractive young lady in the picture?

She seems fairly uncontroversial right?

Wrong!

As it turned out her name is Brynne Breitbart. Here is what it says on her Wiki page:

Bryn Breitbart is a snobby, mean girl that attends East View High School. She was thought to be thirteenth in line for the throne of Denmark, but was then discovered to be a liar. She turned all of Emma's friends against her in the episode Kids Don't Wanna Be Shunned. It is revealed that her family makes toilet paper. In the end, she throws a nacho at Rosie, aimed for Emma, and causes Rosie to "die" (she only fell). She is an enemy of Emma Ross. She is portrayed by Katherine McNamara.

So try to guess WHICH Right Wing news site is throwing a tantrum about this?

Did you guess the one started by this guy?

Well if you did give yourself a big pat on the back.

Here are some of the comments so far.

Leftists — always with the class.

Breitbart's gone. They can't hurt him now. The only people they may hurt with this are his children. Does that make the show's writers happy?

indoctrination camp......I boycotted Disney years ago when "Gay Day" was started there...haven't looked back since.

I'm sure this show isn't any more fit to wipe your a$$ with than anything else on the Disney Channel.

Okay these people do understand that this is a children's program right?

The kids that watch it have NO idea who Breitbart was, or anything about his crappy propaganda site.

Having said that I think the character was given the wrong name. I don't think it fits very well.

Look at the description. She is "snobby," a "liar", and her family makes something that people use to wipe their ass.

Clearly that makes her a Palin. Of course if her last name was Palin, her first name could not be "Brynne" That's too normal.

It would have to be something like Brittle, or Binge, or Blackout, you know something that describes the Palin lifestyle.

Personally I think "Blackout Palin" has a nice ring to it.

BTW, for those who have forgotten just how arrogant Andrew Breitbart was in life I present you with this reminder of one of the worst interviews ever given.

Sarah Palin never lets a criticism slide, but sometimes it takes awhile for her ghostwriter to make sense out of her screeching, this one is a week overdue.

"I don't know WHAT this blonde chick is talking about, I am too busy trying to figure out how to get that Daily Beast guy."
This courtesy the Wasilla Wendigo's ghostwritten Facebook page:

(She starts off by hitting CNN with a low blow.)

CNN: it’s no wonder your ratings still aren't matching competitors. American viewers are smarter than you assume, and we simply want truth in reporting.

(Ouch right in the jewels!)

Please see the article linked below. (The article linked below actually takes you Breitbart's page, but I have not included it because, well it links to Breitbart's page.) Wolf Blitzer’s recent coverage of this story (Here is the link to the actual story, written in late March that Palin has finally gotten around to being pissed off about. You may remember it as the Daily Beast article that pointed out that SarahPAC's ad featuring snippets of her CPAC speech mocking consultants, was ironic since so much of SarahPAC's money went to Palin's consultants. I posted about it here.) really was blisteringly dishonest. First, because he didn’t reach out to me or the SarahPAC staff for rebuttal. (Yes because those people are so easy to get on the record, right?) Second, because he failed to disclose the anti-tea party associations of the “architect” (Karl Rove dig?) of this story whose organization is a competitor of my efforts to advance the candidacies of genuine grassroots conservatives – not those handpicked by the permanent political class. (I read the article at Breitbart so that you don't have to and the crux of it was an attack on the Daily Beast journalist for being an anti-tea party guy, a strange rationalization that since Palin's consultants are paid a salary they are not actually "consultants," and then an ad hominem attack on Obama for stopping the White House tours due to the sequester.) As the article explains, in my recent CPAC speech I gulped and denounced the consultants who engage in campaign hopping and have made a racket out of multi-million dollar failures each election cycle for themselves and their cronies. What a shame CNN continues to plug away in a floundering direction with reports like this. The shame is that they employ some top-notch reporters who no doubt believe in truth in journalism, but examples like this diminish the good reporters’ good efforts. (I love it when Palin gives journalism advice to news outlets. You know because she has that Bachelor's degree in communication and all.)

Now you may think that the example above is a good representation of how Palin NEVER gets over a criticism, but you have not seen anything yet. As our President would say, proceed oh ignorant one.

As a side note, I find it interesting that CNN recently disclosed that their old “Crossfire” show might hit their airwaves again. Wasn’t CNN among those who issued blistering criticism about the use of a “crossfire” icon in 2010 to represent political districts we wished to see represented by commonsense conservatives? CNN, among others, implied that using a “crossfire” icon (which was a tactic first employed by Democrats to illustrate political maps of districts they “targeted” to win) was inciting violence.

 - Sarah Palin

Wow! So clearly Palin is STILL steaming over the criticism she received for putting those crosshair symbols on that map, and to her response after Gabby Giffords was shot.

Here is the old Crossfire logo that Palin is referring to:

Oh yeah, totally the same, don't you think?

Only difference is that the CNN logo is not identifying actual human beings, and targeting them for elimination. Oh AND it did not correspond to an actual assassination attempt on somebody targeted by the symbol.

But you know other than those two minor differences, totally the same.

I think in Palin's case the old adage, you can take the girl out of middle school, but you can't take the middle school out of the girl, has never been more accurate.

Sarah Palin is under attack, quick somebody see if there is anybody still willing to defend her. Really, JUST them?

So you knew it was coming, and of course it did.

After yesterday's post by a former Palin-bot expressing her disappointment in her idol for not hobnobbing with her fellow conservatives, it was really only a matter of time before Palin's few remaining supporters, and in this case actually people she pays to defend her, would speak out.

And where is one of the few places left that will provide a platform for the disgraced and no longer relevant Grizzly Mama's defenders to stomp their feet and yell "No fair, no fair, no fair?"

Well Breitbart.com of course:

Doug McMarlin, who has been with Palin since 2008 and was with her at this year's CPAC, was also perplexed by Hughes's characterization of the event. Palin met with volunteers, supporters and CPAC leadership at this year's event. Palin keynoted last year's CPAC and was the conference's last speaker, which allowed for her to mix with the audience following her speech.

This year, her slot fell on a Saturday afternoon, which meant there were scheduled speakers immediately after her remarks. It would not have been logistically possible for Palin to even greet the crowd or do talk radio hits from CPAC without causing a huge disturbance due to the crowds that would have swarmed her and disrupted the conference.

(Well of course! That makes sense, she is SO incredibly popular that her appearance would have caused a stampede of personal scooters and walkers, and would have distracted from the other speakers. Why didn't WE think of that?)

"Never underestimate the level the uninformed with a keyboard will go to make a point based on a lack of information," McMarlin told Breitbart News. "Lamestream, mainstream, and no stream media, it's unfortunate when those who lack facts lash out without regard. Governor Palin, as always, was with volunteers, supporters and fellow conservatives throughout her days at CPAC."

And joining McMarlin in his paid for umbrage, was fellow Plain staffer Jason Recher.

Jason Recher, a Palin staffer who has been with Palin at nearly every event since 2008, told Breitbart News Palin never asks for a teleprompter. In fact, reporters have often said Palin improvises during her speeches, which forces reporters to pay attention to every word in order to quote her accurately.

"I've been at almost every speech she's given since '08 and can't think of a time where she ever asked to use a Teleprompter," Recher told Breitbart News. The teleprompters at CPAC were part of the stage set up used for all the speakers; it was not something Palin personally requested.

Of course that flies right in the face of eyewitness accounts that claim that teleprompters were put in place SPECIFICALLY for Palin:

Yes, just before she was to take her turn with the talky-hatey thing, something very odd happened, for the first time all day. The stage crew appeared and set up … teleprompters. NO ONE had used them up to this point, they weren’t even on or near the stage for anyone else at all. Not even Michele “one L, two crazy eyes” Bachmann had used a teleprompter til then, but Sarah had to have them, because her speech was too long to have written on her hands. Talk about your choots-pah!

And this eyewitness even provided photographic evidence.

God Palin-bots must HATE photographic evidence!

But Recher was not alone (Well almost, but not quite.) in his paid defense of Snowdrift Snooki.

Bring forth the RAM!

Hughes, with no evidence whatsoever, alleges Palin made a "rush to the exits" at this year's CPAC, implying Palin did not have time for the grassroots.

Again, not true.

As the photos below indicate, Palin spent time after the speech meeting with volunteers.

In addition, Rebecca Mansour, a Palin staffer, told Breitbart News that Palin had to catch a flight immediately after her speech. "She is a very busy working mom with many family and work obligations, including raising a son with Down syndrome who has scheduled therapies," Mansour said. (Yeah, like Palin takes Trig to any of his appointments. I doubt she even knows when they are, or what they are for.)

Well gee, of course she talked to a few people standing around that would not leave her alone until she posed for a picture and pretended to give a shit about them. What do we think she is, a nasty bitch who is so incredibly insensitive that she abandoned her family, almost allowed her fellow Alaskans to die in the cold, and now ONLY makes appearances for money?

Oh we do? Well then explain these clearly not taken with people who volunteer to keep her name in the media or who paid to see her at the convention pictures! Smart ass!

Palin with volunteers from Organize4Palin and C4P.
CPAC attendees that stopped her in the hallway.
Organize4Palin coordinator and the guy she pays to carry her purse.
See? She was TOTALLY talking to the little people who are still ignorant enough to think she is special and are willing to volunteer their time on her behalf or who bumped into as she made a hasty retreat.

Stupid Teabagger ex-Palin-bot stinky head!

Gabby Giffords responds to attempt to undermine her support of gun control laws by releasing old photos of her holding assault rifles.

So the faux "journalists" over at Breitbart got their hands on the photo above and this one down below and attempted to use them to smear Gabby and infer that she was a hypocrite for calling for stricter gun control laws.

In typical fashion Gabby did not take this lying down, took to Facebook to explain what the pictures represented:

Here are two photos of me that a conservative blog has dug up. I remember both of these days fondly. The first is at the Tucson Police Department firing range. They invited me to test rifles and tasers that they bought with federal funds, which I helped secure. The second was in Afghanistan while I was visiting with our troops serving abroad. My work as Southern Arizona's Congresswoman frequently put me in close contact with some of the world's most powerful and deadly weapons - supporting police departments, advocating for the Border Patrol, standing up for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and supporting my constituents' and my own Second Amendment rights. I grew up with guns, and I like owning them. So does my husband Mark. It's an interest we've shared ever since we met. It's part of my heritage as an Arizonan and it's my right as an American. Being able to shoot a gun is something I haven't been able to do since I was shot - because my right arm is paralyzed, and I'm less mobile than I was. As I member of the House Armed Services Committee, I proudly spent a lot of time with our military, border patrol and state and local law enforcement. I guess the intention of those who have publicized these photos is to somehow call into question my belief that military style assault weapons should be more strongly regulated with background checks and other safeguards. I have never wavered in my support for those who serve our country. I fought to make sure they have the weapons and safety gear needed to carry out their mission, and proper health and mental care when their service ends. Both sides of the gun violence debate usually miss the point. We don't have to choose between owning, using, and enjoying guns, on one hand, and preventing gun violence, on the other. Both sides need to come together to support commonsense solutions to gun violence, like keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous people like the young man who shot me. That's why I'm fighting this fight. That's why I'm working to bring people together to support gun rights and reduce gun violence. I hope you join me.

Gee not quite such a smoking gun now is it Breitbart?

(P.S. Before anybody feels the need to bring this up, yes I realize that Gabby could not have written this Facebook post on her own, and undoubtedly had help from her husband and possibly others, but I have little doubt that the words are essentially her own.)

Unwilling to recognize that Sarah Palin has become a national joke, her few remaining defenders continue to overreact to EVERY perceived slight. While Palin eggs them on from the Twitterverse.

Okay so apparently this happened during Kobalt Tools 400 NASCAR race in Las Vegas on Sunday, as reported by the Right Wing morons at Breitbart:

During Fox's telecast of the Kobalt Tools 400 NASCAR race in Las Vegas on Sunday, Fox's NASCAR commentator Michael Waltrip and studio host Chris Myers displayed their ignorance by ridiculing former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin over words she never even said or that have never even been associated with her.

After getting tongue-tied on live television when attempting to say that Brad Keselowski's crew chief Paul Wolfe was a master strategist, Waltrip mistakenly said Wolfe was a "master strategery." Clearly embarrassed, Waltrip, like any insecure man, then immediately tried to make himself feel better by referring to Wolfe as someone who had "Palin strategery," linking "strategery" to Palin.

One huge problem.

Waltrip made a fool of himself again, for Palin has never been accused of making up the word "strategery." Will Ferrell, in a Saturday Night Live episode in October of 2000, used "strategery" in a skit about the presidential debate between Bush and Al Gore to mock Bush.

"One huge problem?" There does not seem to be nearly enough molehill here to even begin constructing this mountain. After all, despite what this idiot contends, Waltrip NEVER suggested that Palin invented the term, he only used her name to indicate something stupid, which considering what everybody knows about Palin is reasonable.

Of course one might imagine that this overreaction would stand on its own and nobody would give it any unnecessary attention, But that "one" would not know Palin very well.

She quickly retweeted this:

Yep that's right. Palin's antennae went up at the opportunity to once again act like a victim, and she followed this up with yet another tweet:

Here's the problem, well one of the problems, with Palins's tweet.

She actually DID use the term "strategery." As you can hear for yourself in this 2010 interview with Bill O'Reilly at the 48 second mark:

At some point these idiots are going to have to recognize that for the foreseeable future Palin will continue to be the butt of an endless number of jokes, and will probably ALWAYS be used as shorthand for indicating how stupid something is. I mean if NASCAR is mocking you, you know EVERYBODY is mocking you.

These few sad Palin supporters can run themselves ragged trying to defend every perceived slight that comes down the pike, but the reality is that Palin will run out of bots well BEFORE comedians and pundits run out of jokes at her expense.

Breitbart.com continues to be the shining light of Right Wing "journalism" by reporting yet another parody story as actual news.

Courtesy of Business Insider:

A satirical item published last week purporting that economist Paul Krugman had filed for bankruptcy has spread to Boston.com and the conservative website Breitbart this morning.

The item originated in The Daily Currant, a satirical news site. Austria's Format online magazine picked it up, and their report was subsequently cited by Boston.com. Then it spread to Breitbart.

Apparently Breitbart has since taken it down, but other sites have not.

However my favorite part of this story is Krugman's response to it:

Krugman responded to the mix-up this morning, writing on his blog that he knew of the fake news item and was asked about it by a Russian television station. He wrote that he did not address it on his blog because he "wanted to wait and see which right-wing media outlets would fall for the hoax."

Yeah isn't it helpful to have these new conservatives news sites and blogs reporting the information that the "liberal" media is too "in the tank" to report?

I always assume "in the tank" is code for "demonstrates journalistic integrity."

By the way if you think you have heard of this Daily Currant site before, you are right:

The Daily Currant is the same site the Washington Post cited in a false report last month that former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was joining Al Jazeera.

Well at least Breitbart.com is in good company. Or is it the other way around?

Fake pimp, and even more fake journalist, James O'Keefe agrees to pay $100,000 in damages to ex-ACORN employee. Update!

Today is just getting started but something pretty damn impressive is going to need to happen for this NOT to be the best news of the day.

O'Keefe. one of Andrew Breitbart's "best and brightest," has settled with ex-ACORN  employee Juan Carlos Vera, for a whopping $100,000.

This courtesy of Wonkette:

According to the final 5-page agreement, signed by O’Keefe and his legal counsel Mike Madigan this past Tuesday, the boy detective now publicly “regrets any pain suffered by Mr. Vera or his family.” O’Keefe and his counsel have also consented to fork over the $100,000 within 30 business days of the settlement agreement’s being signed.

ACORN was a community organizing group that became the locus of phantasmically baroque conspiracy theorizing in the build-up to the 2008 presidential election, first by the usual sad idiots, but inevitably by the seemingly rational journalists who must cover the sad idiots to pay their mortgages. ACORN attracted this negative attention, in part, because of its large and effective voter registration drives, which enfranchised record numbers of minority and low-income voters, who are demographically likely to vote for Democratic Party candidates.

In 2009, two twenty-something conservative activists, James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles, hoped to expose criminal malfeasance at ACORN by filming Vera without his consent, themselves violating section 632 of the California penal code in the process. Vera sued both parties over this and the wild misrepresentation of his activities in the edited version of the undercover video, posted online. (Giles settled with Vera and his attorneys this summer.) The episode is a quintessential example of a wholly original term, which we have just coined: journalistic malpractice.

As many of you probably remember O'Keefe and Giles were paraded around the set of various Fox "news" shows in full pimp and ho regalia, where they completely misrepresented their footage and how they were attired while gathering it.

However it was enough to fool various, more serious, news outlets into covering it and giving them the benefit of the doubt, (Including comedian Jon Stewart, who should have known better.), and this fired up the Republicans who went after ACORN like Rand Paul chasing a conspiracy theory, and eventually the Senate defunded ACORN after which it simply withered away.

The funny part of this, if there is anything funny about it, is that the conservatives believed to their core that the reason Obama won the 2008 election was due to devious practices by ACORN and other Democratic organizations. I think they really believed that with ACORN gone that the President would lose his bid for reelection.

How did that work out for them?

Update: POS can't admit that he did wrong.

O'Keefe's response courtesy of TPM:

Sadly, this is the cost of exposing the truth. That’s why so few people do it. There are liability issues inherent in undercover journalism. But let me be clear, this lawsuit had nothing to do with editing or misrepresentation. It was an action under the California Invasion of Privacy Act. The anti-recording statute under which the suit was brought is unconstitutional, overbroad, and gives the police and other public officials too much power.

As President of Project Veritas and undertaking 5 current investigations, my time and resources are better served in working toward our mission of exposing waste, fraud, and abuse then defending myself against lies. I will not be deterred from investigating and exposing corruption. Now more than ever, America is in need of a more ethical and transparent society.

But do you know what? It does not even matter that this douchebag can't man up and admit that he lied about his footage, and misrepresented himself on television and talk radio programs all over the country. The only thing that matters is that the little bitch was forced to pay up, or risk getting sued for millions. That means the case was good, and he was about to lose.

And he can squeal til his balls finally drop into place but that's the truth and he knows it.

Sarah Palin tells Right Wing blog that she has not yet begun to fight. (Most likely just for more attention of course.)

Apparently Palin went crawling to her buddy Stephen Bannon, (The idiot that put together the Palin hagiography "The Undefeated" and who is now running Andrew Breitbart's website now that he is no longer among the living.), to give an interview that attempts to make her recent break with Fox News seem like a canny career choice.

Here is the link so you can read it for yourself, but if you are like me you probably don't want to bet stupid on your computer, so I will provide the highlights below:

To the question of what is next in her future:

Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can't just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience. (Allow me to translate: I have no freaking idea what to do now! But I'm hoping that somebody will provide me with a pulpit in which to preach my message of common sense, pull yourself up with your bootstraps, down home, conservative, gibberish. Hey, are you guys hiring?)

Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC. DC is out of touch, obviously. Voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart have come out strongly against the “go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins. We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side. And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant. (Translation: I have learned NOTHING from the last election, and am hoping to trick the voters into letting us sneak a few more of those constitutionally illiterate teabaggers into Washington. You know because THAT has really moved things right along for the American people. Oh, and can I have a job?)

As far as long-term plans, the door is wide open. I know the country needs more truth-telling in the media, and I’m willing to do that. So, we shall see. And always in the center of it all I have an awesome, full, exciting, and large family living in a very unique part of America that keeps me hopping! I love it! (Seriously, I'm not kidding, can I have a job?)

The next question is for her to give her opinion on the future of the country under the Obama presidency, you know because her opinion is always so completely, and utterly wrong:

Predicting the future has never been easier because here we are! Already we see higher taxes, a stagnant economy, the same inflationary monetary policies, Obamacare looming like a dark cloud over small businesses, yet another demand for “debt ceiling” increases, continued stonewalling about the tragic Benghazi attacks, a Secretary of Defense nominee who has a history of being antagonistic to our ally Israel, and the attack on our Second Amendment rights by an administration that has no respect for the Constitution or the separation of powers. (Translation: Blah blah, blah, Benghazi, blah blah, blah, Obamacare, blah, blah, blah Constitution. Sorry my translator threw up all over itself.)

The problem is that some on the Right are now skittish because of the lost 2012 election. They shouldn’t be. Conservatism didn’t lose. A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008. Granted, those same voters also didn’t turn out for Obama as strongly either. We had an election defined by a biased media plus millions of voters who sat it out in disgust. As long as we allow the media and GOP establishment to tell us who our nominees must be, we can expect to lose. I’m not interested in losing. America’s next generation can’t afford another loss. (Translation: The reason that the Republicans lost is NOT because conservatism is dead it is because Romney did not bring in the kind of votes that the McCain/Palin ticket brought in, who also lost. Oh and the media did it!)

Finally she is reminded that the MSM has said the Teabaggers are over (Because they are) and that she is now completely irrelevant. does she agree? Gee I wonder how she will respond?

I was raised to never retreat and to pick battles wisely, and all in due season. When it comes to defending our republic, we haven’t begun to fight! But we delight in those who underestimate us. (Translation: I just NEVER learn my lesson, no matter how many times I do a stupid thing, I am always rip roaring ready to do that same stupid thing again! Are you gonna hire me now?)

Okay so I think we can garner from this that Palin does not really HAVE a plan B, but us hoping that somebody, anybody will giver her a job. You no so long as she doesn't actually have to do any work or anything.

By the way did anybody else notice there was no mention of an exercise book? Gee I wonder why?

Oh yeah, because it was bullshit!

Only a day after the anniversary of the Tucson shooting, true to form, Sarah Palin plays the victim while using one of her children as a shield against criticism. Update!

Courtesy of Lunatic from Lake Lucille's Facebook page:

Ben Shapiro has a great new book out called “Bullies: How The Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America.” Ben’s premise about the left’s silencing tactics is absolutely correct. Obviously I’ve witnessed the left’s bullying behavior up close and personal when it’s been directed at those so close to me. And, of course, I’ve seen how nasty it can be for other conservatives as well. You know, there’s something especially ugly about the way the left goes after children of conservatives. I still find it highly ironic that the supposedly “tolerant” left has done nothing but bully, demonize, and judge my daughter Bristol for making the right decision to keep her baby and work so very hard as a single mom to care and provide for him. I don’t know of any conservative “war on women,” but I sure have seen the left’s war on conservative women!

Please read Ben’s book and consider his advice about how we must stand up and push back twice as hard against this bullying. We must not allow ourselves to be frightened into silence. Yes, it’s hard to “keep on keeping on” when being pushed around – but like Ronald Reagan said: when we stiffen our spines, those around us can stiffen theirs, too! Press in, press on. Don’t retreat, friends!

 - Sarah Palin

First off I have to say that the VERY idea that Sarah Palin, a well established bully in Wasilla and on the media, would use her equally vicious daughter to play the victim of similar behaviors is a level of hypocrisy that is almost jaw dropping.

And then to identify the Left as the bullies in this hyper politicized world we now live in is the ultimate hypocrisy saturated cherry on top of her batshit crazy fudge sundae.

The idea that the Left in this country could even COMPETE with the conservatives in this arena would be laughable if their tactics had not proven to be so harmful to our citizens.

After all which side of the ideological aisle outed the CIA wife of one of their critics in order to punish them for revealing that the war they were dragging the country toward was based on lies?

Which party came up with a color coded system to keep Americans frightened while sending its young people off to die in unnecessary wars?

Which fringe part of that same party now holds their politicians hostage to an untenable conservative anti-tax litmus test with threats of a primary challenge if they refuse to play ball with them?

Bullying? The liberals are light years behind the conservatives when it comes to intimidation techniques and Middle school name calling.

Of course equally disgusting is that the Grizzled Mama put this post out yesterday only the day AFTER the Tucson massacre, where thirteen people were shot and six died, and after which Sarah Palin came out in a video playing (You guessed it!) the victim and claiming there was a "blood libel" against her.

After over a week of silence apparently Palin could not let this terrible anniversary pass without reminding people that the true victims in this country are she and her family.

Of course it is probably anti-climatic at this point to reveal that the author of this book, which Palin is so effusively pimping was written by a Breitbart "news" editor Ben Shapiro. (He also wrote such delightfully non-partisan books as "Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America's Youth" and "Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism Is Corrupting Our Future.")

You remember the founder of Breitbart News, Andrew Breitbart, don't you?

And if you do of course you know he was an EXPERT on bullying tactics. So who better, than one of his editors, to write a slanted book on bullying in politics that unfairly vilifies the Left, and who better, than the queen of conservative hypocrisy, to endorse that book?

P.S. You know I almost missed this cry for attention from Klondike Kardashian, you would think she would want to get on television to hawk this book and get her rapidly dwindling fan base talking about her again. Oh wait......

Update: Okay well this just took a turn for the surreal.

Here is a clip of Ben Shapiro, the guy whose book Palin is pretending to hawk while of course using her daughter to play the victim, identifying Palin supporters as bullies who will aggressively go after ANYBODY who dares to criticize her or suggest she is not running for president.

Oh this is TOO good!

Hostile ultra conservative hate monger, sues ultra conservative employer, for hostile hate mongering against her. Sounds fair.

"But wait, THIS is different. They were mean to ME."
Courtesy of Politico:

Conservative commentator Dana Loesch on Friday sued the parent company of right-wing news website Breitbart.com, where she was once a star writer and editor.

The suit, filed in U.S. District court in St. Louis, Mo., and first reported in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, alleges that Loesch’s “poorly managed but well meaning relationship” with the media organization founded by the late Andrew Breitbart went “tragically awry” resulting “in the attempt by one vindictive party to sabotage the reputation and career of another.”

Loesch contends that owner and operator Breitbart LLC bound her to “what amounts to indentured servitude in limbo” after she says she was forced to terminate her contract as the result of an “increasingly hostile” working environment. She says Breitbart LLC refused to allow her to write or blog for anyone else and would not publish her work on the site. The suit seeks at least $75,000 in damages and freedom from contractual obligations.

I am tickled by the fact that Dana Loesch, who aggressively defended Sarah Palin after her insensitive "blood libel" comments and viciously attacked Sandra Fluke, is now suing an organization for treating her in a "hostile" manner.

Dana Loescha is an absolutely terrible human being who has misrepresented facts repeatedly, most recently as a contributor to CNN, in order to drive an ultra conservative agenda that often involves attacks on Muslims and the gay community.

Personally I LOVE watching infighting among the Right Wing lunatics. Especially in this case since it was Andrew Breitbart who referred to this blog as "defunct." (You know before his overwhelming hated made his heart stop working.)

(P.S. Interesting side note, since Breitbart's death the Executive News Chairman for Breitbart.com has been none other than Sarah Palin ass kisser, and director of that rancid piece of propaganda "The Undefeated," Stephen K. Bannon.)

NEVER one to let go of a grudge, Sarah Palin has a ghostwritten attack on Joe McGinniss published on rabid Right Wing blog.

Sarah Palin is famous for going after people who she believes have done her wrong, and is also known for NEVER letting go of her hatred for these people who dare damage her reputation by pointing out the truth.

So today Palin had a ghostwriter post a hateful diatribe against Joe over at the now truly defunct Andrew Bretbart's old website. (Well Breitbart himself is "defunct" anyhow.)

Essentially she discusses a new book which examines the Jeffrey MacDonald case that was at the heart of Joe's famous book "Fatal Vision," and resurrects the claim that McGinniss gained MacDonald's trust, claiming he believed that he was innocent, only to turn on him when he became convinced of his guilt. And then takes it a step further by implicating McGinniss in the perception of MacDonald's guilt, which the author believes is false.

Now I only know what I have read about the trial, and saw presented in the television movie adapted from Joe's book, so I don't have any real idea of whether MacDonald was guilty or innocent.

I did talk to Joe very briefly about it once, after it was dredged up while he was still living next to Palin, and he expressed confidence that MacDonald was indeed guilty. And that he had dealt with the man fairly.

However the reason this is worthy of a post is to, once again, illustrate just how vindictive Palin is, and to what extremes she will go to in order to injure or frighten those that dare stand up to her, or who she identifies as an enemy. (A list that WE all know is almost too long to read in one sitting.)

McGinniss, to his eternal credit, may in fact have been the one to have finally put that proverbial stake through Palin's political aspirations for all time. So of course she hates him with the white hot hate of a woman who despises men in general, and despises men who will not succumb to her "charms" even more.

Joe was not only unimpressed with Palin, he wrote a book telling the world exactly WHY she was unimpressive, and potentially dangerous.

Of course Palin lacks the talent to do her own dirty work so in this case she simply used one of Breitbart's journalistic hit-men to write a screed and then stamped it with one of her cloven hooves.

Here you tell me if this sounds like it came from the cottage cheese filled head of the Lunatic from Lake Lucille:

I don’t normally read “true crime” books, and I’ve certainly never written a review of one, but Errol Morris’ new book, “A Wilderness of Error,” isn’t typical of the genre. It’s much more interesting and I think important. It’s a book about the failings of a legal system administered by very fallible human beings, and it’s a book about how we buy into false media narratives that tidy up uncomfortably complex stories and give us permission to call off any further search for truth – and, yes, Morris argues with refreshing clarity that objective truth is real and worthy of being sought after despite the pretentious nonsense preached in faculty lounges about all truth being relative. In fact, he argues passionately that the search for truth is what journalism and justice is all about.

"Pretentious," "fallible,"  "isn't typical of the genre." Does any of that sound like Palin-speak to any of you? Of course not.

No this is just another example of Palin smelling blood in the water and going for the jugular like she has over and over again in the past. And essentially it reveals far more about HER than it does her intended target.

Look "Fatal Vision" was written four decades ago, and nothing that Palin or this writer say about the circumstances surrounding the case will have any significant impact on Joe McGinniss, his reputation, or his future endeavors.

However Joe's book "The Rogue" DID have a very significant and disasterous impact on a certain treacherous politician who caters to the very worst in American politics, and whose influence is STILL causing negative ramifications throughout our now fragile political system. And for that the American people owe him a great debt of gratitude.

In other words, nice try Sarah, but we still know who actually ran Wasilla while you were Mayor, that even those close to you doubt you gave birth to Trig, and that you at one time used your position as a part time sportscaster to seduce a young basketball player named Glen Rice.

And NOTHING you have ghostwritten about the author of that information will EVER erase it from our minds.

And no giving us the evil eye will not change that either.

Two high placed Romney advisers divulge plan to avoid real journalists and focus on disseminating information through rabid Right Wing blogs.

Apparently Romney is following in the high heeled footsteps of Sarah Palin and will avoid the risk of being asked any real questions, by limiting his media access to Right Wing propaganda outlets like the Drudge Report, Breitbart.com, and of course Fox News.

This from Breitbart.com (Don't feel the need to visit and give them hits unless you truly doubt the source of this post.):

Thursday's reaction to the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare was a textbook example of how the new media’s biggest players helped galvanize the center-right political movement. And it’s no surprise what website served as the catalyst for most of the energy: The Drudge Report.

"Drudge is the single most powerful force in the media today,” said Zac Moffat, Digital Director of the Romney Campaign. Lenny Alcivar, campaign spokesman, agreed: “The Governor's simple message yesterday was, ‘If we want to repeal Obamacare, we have to replace the president.’ When Drudge highlighted that quote as a headline linked to the Weekly Standard, it began the unified message across the board on the center-right.”

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Moffat and Alcivar discussed how websites like Breitbart and Drudge influence the way their campaign receives and delivers the news.

Moffat revealed, “I have two windows constantly up on my screen all day long, Twitter and the Drudge Report.”

Alcivar, who took a leave from the groundbreaking and influential Hynes Communications to work for the Romney campaign, sees a major shift in how the media works:

"When this election is over, one of the lessons that will be learned by the mainstream media is that they no longer have a toe-hold on how Americans receive their news. Never before – in a way that has taken Democrats off stride – have we seen the confluence of an aggressive online community, led by Breitbart, and an aggressive campaign team not willing to cede an inch of ground to Democrats. This combination has created a new political reality. We no longer allow the mainstream media to define the political realities in America. The rise of Breitbart, Drudge and others, combined with an aggressive Romney campaign is a powerful tool in the arsenal of the conservative movement. If I talk to Breitbart about an issue, thousands more will hear our message than if we give a quote to one of the hill rags."

As I am sure most of you remember, after Sarah Palin was humiliated on national television by Katie Couric who asked her the trick question. "What newspapers and magazines did you regularly read?," she avoided journalists WHO were not Palin-bots or Fox News employees like the plague.

Since then many Republican have followed suit, in fact some of the GOP presidential field ONLY gave interviews to Fox News and online Right Wing blogs.

And now Mitt Romney, who like Palin is an attractive, photogenic political mannequin with virtually NONE of the qualifications necessary to actually do the job for which he is currently running, is also attempting to hide his inadequacies by making sure to only give interviews to "journalists" who will never bring them up.

Essentially Mitt Romney is a coward, and with this decision has made crystal clear what differentiates him from President Obama.

Obama does not run from a fight. And has essentially reentered the lion's den again and again.

(H/T to Think Progress)

P.S. Just a reminder that it was Andrew Breitbart himself who labeled THIS blog"defunct," which I guess goes to prove just how good HIS journalistic skills were now doesn't it?

Palin to rally army of Right Wing bloggers. Oh, this can't be a good thing!

Courtesy of Fox Nation:

The conservative blogosphere has yet to move past the death of patron saint Andrew Breitbart, but it will get a major jolt this month from an equally provocative hero: Sarah Palin.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee has committed to delivering the keynote address at Right Online, the annual gathering of conservative bloggers and online activists organized by the Koch-backed non-profit group Americans for Prosperity Foundation.

The June 15-16 conference will be the first time the event is held on a different weekend and in a different city from the liberal online activism conference upon which it was based, Netroots Nation.

And that’s no mere coincidence, say Right Online organizers.

This year’s meeting is focused on higher-level tactics and strategies than past year’s editions of Right Online, which sometimes had the feel of a crash course on blogging 101. The Vegas conference features training on video exposes to be conducted by guerrilla video journalist James O’Keefe, a session on polling featuring conservative’s favorite pollster Scott Rasmussen and a session moderated by columnist Michelle Malkin entitled “How to Use Facebook & Twitter to Win,” which will include instruction on using social media to drive narratives.

It’s an area in which Palin can rightly be considered a pioneer, having mastered a high-impact, communication style that almost completely circumvents a traditional media from which she’s sometimes gotten rough treatment.

You know much of the reason that Palin is now considered an internet pioneer is related to her frustration over the information that was gathered and dispensed online by the Alaska bloggers.

Palin became obsessed with us, and in response brought Rebecca "RAM" Mansour up here for her "audience with the Queen," so that she could utilize C4P to fight back against the uncomfortable truths that were being revealed on a daily basis.

Of course even then she could never manage to actually work the internet without somebody ghostwriting her Facebook posts and online articles for her.

Palin has not so much "mastered" the online communication, as hidden herself behind it in order to shape a mythology about herself that her on air appearances all too quickly reveal to be false.

Having said that I have to admit to being more than a little uncomfortable with the idea of Palin somehow leading a crazy ass army of blogging sycophants, willing to fill the internet with lies about the President and attacking our democracy one post at a time, while also working to reshape Palin's image so that she can once again be relevant.

Gee can you even imagine having Sarah Palin, James O'Keefe, and Michelle Malkin all at the same conference?  That is almost TOO much insanity even for Vegas!

Another "huge scandal" uncovered by Andrew Breitbart's flying monkeys fizzles out again!

A few of you might have seen the above promotional booklet attached to a comment left here at IM earlier today.

Apparently the Right Wing was all worked up because they had finally uncovered "proof" that President Obama was born in Kenya. (I know right?)

Here is how the above booklet was described on the  most batshit crazy website on the "intertubes:"

Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

The forces of Breitbart went on to imply that this brief biographical blurb was undoubtedly approved by Obama himself:

He indicated that while "almost nobody" wrote his or her own biography, the non-athletes in the booklet, whom "the agents deal[t] with on a daily basis," were "probably" approached to approve the text as presented.

What? There was a promotional booklet saying Barack Obama was born in Kenya and he"probably"approved it? Aha! We've got that Socialist, Muslim, Communist, black radical church going Christian right where we want him now!

Or not:

"You're undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me -- an agency assistant at the time. There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

Bummer.

You know the Right Wing is absolutely turning themselves inside out in an attempt to find something, ANYTHING, they can use to discredit this President. And I have a feeling we haven't seen anything yet.

You know President Obama must have done an even better job than I thought he did if these Right Wing assholes are having to go all the way back to 1991 in a desperate attempt to find something to smear him with. It certainly doesn't sound like they have too much faith in Romney's tactic of using the economic situation to beat him in the election now does it?

Damn is this going to be an entertaining election cycle!

Update: There is some talk of the above "mom jeans" photo of Romney having been phtotshopped. So here is another picture just to show the uncool factor is real, even IF that particular photo is not.

Sarah Palin destroys myth that she is an "energy expert" and wishes the most painful punishment imaginable for Roger Ailes.

Today Palin gave an interview to Andrew Breitbart's rapidly deteriorating website Big Government.

I am not going to go line by line because essentially it is the same old crap on a new cracker.

However there was a question that Palin answered SO incorrectly that it should remove ANY doubt in rational people's minds that she does not know her skinny ass from a hole in the ground, when it comes to oil production and its effect on gas prices in America.

BNN: "Obama claims that his domestic energy policies do not affect prices at the pump because oil is bought and sold on the world market, which determines the prices. True?"

Gov (Half term quitter) Palin: " False. Totally false. What determines the price of oil is “supply and demand.” If you increase the supply, you will see downward pressure on the prices at the pump, just as we’ve seen with natural gas. We know from past evidence that even the news of more areas being opened for future drilling has an immediate effect on the price of oil as the markets respond to the news of a future surplus."

No THAT is completely and demonstrably false. And it illustrates perfectly why Palin is the LAST person on the planet that anybody should go to for information concerning energy policies in this country.

Here is the truth from the Detroit Free Press:

A statistical analysis of 36 years of monthly, inflation-adjusted gasoline prices and U.S. domestic oil production by the Associated Press shows no statistical correlation between how much oil comes out of U.S. wells and the price at the pump.

Political rhetoric about the blame over gas prices and the power to change them -- whether Republican claims now or Democrats' charges four years ago -- is not supported by cold, hard figures. And that's especially true about oil drilling in the U.S. More oil production in the U.S. does not mean consistently lower prices at the pump.

Sometimes prices increase as American drilling ramps up. That's what has happened in the past three years. Since February 2009, U.S. oil production has increased 15% when seasonally adjusted. Prices in those three years went from $2.07 per gallon to $3.58. It was a case of drilling more and paying much more.

This not a case of there being a difference of opinion between the Left and the Right in this country, this is a case of one side getting their information from research and statistics, and the other getting their information from ideological morons who are funded by people like the Koch brothers to purposefully spread misinformation.

Later in the same interview Palin was  asked about these remarks made yesterday by the President of Fox News Roger Ailes:

During the Q&A with two student journalists following his remarks, Ailes took on Gingrich head on. He said Newt was simply angling for a job at CNN. And he attacked the notion that he had hired any of the GOP politicians to help their political prospects, coming as close as he's ever gotten to confirming my earlier reporting that he believed Palin was "an idiot. "Sarah Palin had no chance to be President," Ailes said. "The one I didn't hire was Romney. I thought he had a chance [to win] ... I hired people I thought would get ratings."

In response Palin suggests that perhaps the worst punishment imaginable should be visited upon Ailes. Forcing him to watch that horribly mythological monstrosity "The Undefeated!"

Interesting. I haven’t heard all of his remarks, but I wonder if he is aware that the same thing was said about me when I ran for city council, mayor, and eventually governor. No doubt many people who are told they can’t do something will work that much harder, and they succeed. Maybe you guys should send him a copy of Steve Bannon’s “The Undefeated.” The theme of Steve’s film isn’t about me, but about the idea of not letting others dictate one’s path in life and never giving up when you’re fighting for something precious like our exceptional nation and our children’s futures. So, would you send a copy of “The Undefeated” to him?

I seriously dislike Roger Ailes, and I would gleefully devour a bucket of buttered popcorn while watching him get waterboarded for hours upon hours, but even I would never condemn the man to sitting through the vomit inducing cinematic beatification of possibly the most ignorant politician to ever be plucked out of the wilds of Wasilla. THAT would just be cruel.

Besides in this case Ailes is obviously correct. Palin had NO shot at the Presidency, and only the MOST brain damaged paint chip eaters in the country could ever imagine that she would.  Which worked out perfectly for Ailes because brain damaged paint chip eaters make up the vast majority of his audience.
